A.N. — Today's characters was one of Momo's foes in the Mountain Zone at the USJ. There's aren't many of those left to cover. I had a long rant about ff.n here ('cause it's got a lot of issues right now), but deleted it. I'm just saying, there's a reason these chapters go up on AO3 first.
267. Gravitational Spring (USJ villain)
His extendable arms could find purchase on any handhold. But Gravitational Spring was still subject to the laws of physics. Many quirks ignored rules that were otherwise considered universal constants, but he relied on them working as advertised for his most effective moves. Of course, his dependence on elasticity could (and often did) rebound on him.
Once in motion, Gravitational Spring could not stop himself. So connecting on that first hit was vital. When it didn't, things quickly fell apart for him. Then it felt like gravity was keeping him down, and even his quirk couldn't help him spring back.
