Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto sat on the side of the room in the dojo as Chizome dove to the side as Leonardo swung his sword at the man's head. The man popped back up and immediately went back at the other man as their swords met. Leonardo smiled slightly as his student attacked, proud the man had learned the sword so well. It made the decision to move to Japan to teach one he was glad he had made. His father had asked him to do so as old age had started to make it difficult for the man to keep up with the young men he was teaching. So he had asked his oldest son to move to take over for him. Leonardo felt it had been a wise decision.
Chizome grunted as his master punched him in the side as their swords were locked together. He retaliated with a kick to the thigh to throw off the stance of the other man. Upon making contact though he grimaced in pain as the turtle man's muscles felt like they were made of corded steel and hurt to hit. He hopped back to try to get room to get feeling back in his foot only to have to meet a flurry of strikes that ended with the other man's sword at his throat. After a moment staring at each other the two men pulled back and bowed to each other.
As soon as the fight was over the three friends to the side got up to meet their teacher. Chizome walked to the side of the room to grab a bottle of water and a towel to wipe off the sweat he had built up. He sat on a bench as he watched the boys go through their warm up and stretches. He thought back to when he had been introduced to this dojo. He had thought he knew how to fight and use a sword. Thought that it had been a waste of his time to come here but his boss had said it was mandatory for his employment. So he came in with an attitude and promptly got his ass handed to him by an old rat man who looked like he could barely move. Oh man did he learn that was not true. Then he became a convert and dedicated himself to learning everything he could. When his master's son arrived was when he learned he was still a novice when it came to the sword. Leonardo was a true master of the blade and Chizome was a willing student. Though he was pretty sure Inko still laughed at the him about his first time here. Like she had known what would happen.
The last year working with her had been more rewarding then he thought it would be back in that cell when he first saw her Conviction in her eyes. They had tore down several corrupt officials who had been exploiting the public. They also had derailed the careers of a few heros who he had found to be villains in disguise. All in all he found the path his life had taken after meeting her to be better then the one he had been on. It was wonderful to work someone that had as strong convictions as he did. It also didn't hurt that Inko was a beautiful woman that he was falling for more and more.
Chizome shook himself out of his thoughts to watch the boys finish their lesson. Once they were done he escorted them back to the Midoriya household where the boys were staying this afternoon. When they got there they found Inko there picking up some files she had left by accident. As soon as Chizome saw her his face unknowingly morphed into one of a lovesick fool. Inko noticed and smiled on the inside as she basked in the fact she was attractive to someone. The boys just rolled their eyes wondering when Chizome was going to put himself out of his misery and ask Inko out already.
Later Izuku was sitting at his computer surfing though several sites before he settled on one discussing heros. As the chat room talked about different heros Izuku started to break down the pros and cons of the different heros' quirks sparking several people to try to drown him out while others spoke up in his defense since he had made valid points. Getting tired of arguing with those people he logged off and started reading news articles. Reading an article about the police being stalled in an investigation about a string of break ins he started to look at the information that they had and then started looking at past articles about the same subject. After a couple hours he had a decent idea of what the person's quirk was.
Izuku then started writing an email detailing his research and his conclusions on the matter. He decided to send it to several police stations while also sending it to some local hero tip line email addresses. His hope was someone would see it and take enough notice to use the information.
Once he was done he noticed he had notifications asking to private chat. Shrugging his shoulders he clicked on them and started to talk to each person. A couple he blocked when it turned out the person just wanted to rant at him about his analysis in the chat. The others asked in roundabout ways if he would analyze their quirks. He was more then happy to do so, which he informed them of. Then some of them asked what it would cost and Izuku stopped to think since it had never occurred to him he could get paid to do what he loved to do anyways. He thought about it and told them he would have to think about. He sent them an alterative email he had so they could send their information on their quirks at their own pace, so they didn't have try to send it all the information over private messenger.
After closing out the website he sat there thinking about being able to help people with their quirks and remembered the conversation he had with Master Splinter's grandson (a very successful search and rescue worker by this time) and the question he had asked about if he was a quirk councilor. Deciding to see what one needed to do to be one he started to look into it. He soon discovered it was relatively easy to obtain a certification to be a quirk councilor, a fact he found disturbing since he had thought one would need at least a degree. But if it was this easy he started to realize why so many heros and other people didn't use their quirk to full effect when the people advising them didn't really have anymore training then the next person. But if he did get certified then he could help Katsuki and Shoto with their quirks by letting them practice them without getting in trouble for public quirk use.
He left his room to go talk to his mom and get her opinion on his plans. Finding her in the kitchen he told her all about his plans while he helped her cook dinner. She listened and asked questions which he answered to the best of his ability. As they ate she thought about it and decided to give her blessing but wanted him to only do his analysis online for now so they could set up a way to do background checks before he would meet people in real life if needed in the future. She also said she would get with the other families about finding a place the children could practice their quirks safely and Izuku could help them. Izuku hugged his mother with tears in his eyes, telling her he was going to go do the test for the certification right now. He took off to his room logging on to the site and entering his information only to have to come bac to his mother to ask if he could use her credit card since it cost to take the test and get the certification. Inko smiled as she followed him back to his room to enter in her card information so her son could take his test.
Forty five minutes later there was a load whoop from Izuku's room as he got a perfect score on the test and was accredited as an official quirk councilor. The certifcate and paperwork for it would come in a couple days the site told him. He went to tell his mom he passed and she took him out for ice cream to celebrate.
A few days later he was bursting with excitement as he waited for Katsuki and Shoto to arrive after school was over. He had texted them that he had something to tell them and they told him they would be over as soon as they got home. As he waited he made sure his certification was straight on the wall in it's new frame and the card he could carry was where he could grab it easily so could show it to them.
Soon the front door slammed open as Katsuki arrived with a shouted "Yo Nerd! We're here."
"In my room! Come on up!" Izuku answered as he heard his two friends making their way towards his room.
Once the two boys were in his room and sitting on his bed he stood up and grabbed the frame off the wall, shoving it at them. Shoto took the frame so him and Katsuki could look at it together. A few moments later both boys' heads flew up in shock.
Katsuki was the first to speak. "What the hell does this mean? How are you a quirk councilor? I thought you had only just finished high school online. How did you already study for this?"
Izuku felt a flat look creep onto his face as he answered. "Well it turns out it's not very hard to get certified as a quirk councilor. Hell I took the test without preparing and aced it. Personally I'm not very happy it's so easy to do it. It kind of explains why some people use their quirks wrong if someone with a little knowledge can claim to be a quirk councilor."
Shoto tilted his head at Izuku. "It's cool you got this and with your ability to analyze quirks you could do very well. But you seem more excited than something like this would warrant. Or is there something we're missing?"
Izuku smiled as he took back the frame and placed it back on the wall. He grab his card and held it up. "Well with this card I can work with people to work on their quirks. So if someone is with me in a safe place they could practice their quirk without getting in trouble. Sounds pretty good right?"
Shoto and Katsuki looked at each other before they launched themselves at Izuku and went down in a laughter filled tackle as they hugged the shit out of him. Katsuki gave him a noogie as Shoto shook him back and forth while the green haired boy giggled and tried to swat them away.
Eventually the all were laying on the floor beside each other as the caught their breath. Izuku stood up first and started to grab notebooks and supplies putting them in a bag as the other two boys watched him.
"What are you doing?" asked Shoto.
"Getting everything I need to help you guys train. What? Did you think I was going to wait?" Izuku replied as he zipped the bag closed and swung it up on his shoulder. As he walked towards the door he called over his shoulder, "You guys coming?"
Katsuki and Shoto looked at each other before scrambling to chase down their friend. The three friends were quickly out the door and walking towards the beach. Izuku had picked the beach because lately it had started becoming a dumping ground after some trash had washed up on it. Right now it wasn't too terrible but it was bad enough that people had started to avoid it so it made perfect place to practice without accidently hurting someone. He did have the other two boys tell their respective parents where they would be in case something happened.
Once they got there and the other two got done bitching about being at a dump Izuku pulled out his notebooks and directed Katsuki to run down the beach about halfway and then back. When asked why Izuku told him he wanted the boy to build up a good sweat to which the blonde nodded before taking off. Izuku then turned to Shoto who he waved to follow him. Digging around in the trash he found an old pot and filled it with sea water. He then had Shoto stick his hands in it and told him he wanted him to freeze it and then boil it back and forth to learn control. As the two toned boy set about doing that Katsuki arrived back with a fine sheen of sweat. Once more the green haired boy dug around in the trash until he found an old medicine ball. He set it on the ground and then used some pieces of broken wood to mark out a grid. He then told Katsuki that he wanted him to use his explosions to push the ball to the other side of the grid but not out of it. He told the boy he was trying to teach him how to use precision so he could learn how to use the necessary amount of force without destroying everything around him.
As his two friends worked Izuku called Mei to see if she wanted to come visit them. She said she was working in her lab and didn't really want to leave but when he said he was at the beach and was standing in a literal scrap yard she excitedly said she would be right over. Once she hung up he reached down to open his bag and pulled out the paintball gun he brought. He planned to teach Mei to protect herself and why not teach her something that would work well with her quirk. She had mentioned that if she really pushed it she could see out to five kilometers. So she would make a hell of a sniper and gun user. Plus she could build her own equipment.
Izuku watched Katsuki launch the ball across the sand only to go retrieve it with a growl to place it back at the start as he tried to regulate his blasts. He wandered over to check on Shoto who was working hard to control the temperature of the water as he took it from boiling to freezing. He had to refill the pot a couple of times because he had flash boiled the water and had to dive out of the way of the steam. It was tiring him out but he understood what Izuku wanted by having him do this. If he could fine tune his control then he could save his energy in a fight by using just the right amount of force. He felt this was better then his vaguely remembered lessons with his piece of shit father who was all about using as much brute force as he could.
Soon Mei came clattering up on a three wheeled bike with a cart hooked to the back of it. She hopped down off the wall where the street was to the sand next to Izuku ready to start scavenging but before she could take off Izuku grabbed her arm.
"Before you start searching the trash I have something I want you to do. Look down the beach and use your quirk to focus on what I tell you to ok?" he asked her as he pulled out a pair of binoculars.
She looked at him strangely but nodded. "Ok, should be easy enough."
He start out by pointing out various pieces of junk to which Mei quickly found with her quirk. He slowly lead her eyes further and further down the beach until she was abruptly looking at the rocks at the end of the beach. He nodded as he wrote in his notebook. He then handed her the paintball gun and had to slap her hands away from her tool belt as she went to start stripping it down to improve it.
"No improving that. That is mine and I want it as is for now. What I want is for you to use this to shoot at targets as I point them out. I'm using a inaccurate weapon on purpose because I want you to learn to adjust your shots just using your quirk and body. The reason I'm doing this is so you learn to defend yourself and your quirk makes you a natural sniper and a precision gunfighter. By having you do this with a paintball gun at first it will teach you how to make quick adjustments to be accurate once you do start to using a real gun. Plus think how fun it would be to have a reason to build your own weapons." Izuku explained to her, his ending statement by hooking her with the idea of inventing her own weapons.
Mei looked pained at first because he wouldn't let her tinker with the paintball gun but started to get more excited as he talked. By the end she was nodding along as he pulled the binoculars back to his face. He started calling out spots for her to fire at and had her keep on the same spots until she hit the piece he had called. After while her shooting got sloppy as she had been pushing her quirk in a different way then she usually did when focusing on wiring in her inventions. Izuku had her stop and turned her loose to hunt for scrap.
As Mei started digging he went back to his other two friends. He stopped Shoto who looked like he was straining to balance his quirk. The two of them found Katsuki sitting on the ground rubbing his wrists as he glared at the medicine ball. The ground was tore up all around him but the ball was still in the grid. Izuku congratulated his friend on controlling his quirk to which the blonde grinned only for it to drop when Izuku told him next he would set up a maze that Katsuki would have to navigate with the ball. Shoto huffed out a laugh until he was told he would be using the pot again but next time Izuku was going to place a thermometer in the water and making him use both sides of his quirk to hold the water at certain temperature to fine tune his control. Both boys stared in horror as their friend laughed at their faces.
"I've had years to study your quirks you two. I've been thinking of way to train them for almost as long. Now I can do everything I planned since we can't get in trouble for it. I'm going to make you the best heros I can." he informed them as he started to collect his stuff.
The two boys just nodded as they felt their lives flash before their eyes since they knew they were in for hell.
Once Izuku was packed up the three of them checked in with Mei and helped her load her cart with the scrap she had dragged out of the trash piles. They waved her off as she slowly built up speed with the weight behind her making it hard to pedal. They walked home and split up so the two quirked boys could shower before dinner. Izuku went to his room once inside and started to write out a plan to train his friends quirks. He took a break when his mom called him for dinner and then back to it until he finished. After that he took his own shower and went to bed.
A few weeks later the four friends were training at the beach on a Saturday. Izuku had Katsuki digging a hole with his quirk as training for rescue work while he had Shoto standing in the ocean water alternating the sides of his quirk to freeze and melt the water to build the strength of his quirk. Izuku was with Mei spotting for her as she used a improved paintball gun she made as he had her rapidly switching targets he had set up in different places and different heights. He was trying to train her to make the calculations for her shots in as short as time as possible so she could hit whatever she aimed at as soon as she spotted it. At first she thought of the training as fun until Izuku set up human shaped targets and she realized she might one day have to shoot a person. When she balked at that Izuku slapped himself in the face because he had forgot to explain the other reason he had decided to train Mei to shoot. He then explained that with her brain he had thought she would be able to make nonlethal ammo such as a paintball round that contained a substance that hit and hardened to immobilize a target or perhaps a dart that shocked a person. After that Mei felt better about learning to shoot.
While Mei was taking a break to recharge the CO2 chamber on her gun and reload the paintballs Izuku was looking down the beach with the binoculars when he saw movement farther down. As he watched he saw a boy with purple hair weaving between the trash piles and stumbling every few feet like he was being shoved from behind. As he watched he saw a red blur behind the kid as he stumbled forward.
"Mei eleven o'clock, two hundred meters. Just over the boy running at us right shoulder. Fire when I say." Watching for the blur Izuku held his breath. "NOW!" He watched as the paintball hit a person in a red suit right between the eyes, stunning them and causing them to crash into a trash pile with their feet sticking out.
He rushed forward to the boy who collapsed into his arms as soon as Izuku reached him. The boy was crying and shaking in exhaustion. He was also wearing a muzzle that was cutting into his face with blood seeping down his cheeks. Mei gasped as she ran up behind him before rapidly grabbing a pair of wire cutters from her belt and snipping the straps of the muzzle. She went to toss it but Izuku motioned for her to hold onto it. When she looked questioningly at him he mouthed 'Mom" at her and she nodded as she caught on. He told her to call the police and to go get the other two boys. She pulled out her phone and dialed as she ran off to find them.
Izuku sat on the ground and used a cloth he had to wipe sweat out of his eyes while spotting for Mei to wipe the boy's face. Luckily it hadn't been warm out today so the cloth was clean. As the boy started to stir Mei, Katsuki, and Shoto returned and Izuku quickly filled them in on what was going on. Mei told him the police were on the way.
Suddenly they heard a noise from the trash pile that had been crashed into as the person in the red suit pulled themself out of the pile. The person tired wiping the stuff from the trash off but that just smeared it more making him growl in frustration. Izuku stared before he recognized the man as a low ranked hero by the name of Zip. The man had a speed quirk that let him move at insane speeds at short distances. He wasn't a very good hero, caring more for fame then heroics. Now it also seemed like he was also an asshole who liked tormenting kids.
Zip looked around before spotting them and flinging himself towards them. As he flew towards them Izuku told Shoto to ice the ground in front of them knowing once Zip committed to a direction he couldn't turn until his quirk turned off. As so as the man's foot hit the ice he went ass over head and fell on his back. Once he stopped moving Izuku had Shoto ice him to the ground. The man started screaming profanity at them, how he was going to have them arrested as villains for attacking a hero. Izuku told him that they had only been defending themselves and the boy the hero had been chasing. The hero then sneered out that it would be their word against his and since he was a hero he would be believed.
A few seconds later a police car came roaring up, screeching to a stop. As soon as the officer stepped out Izuku frowned and quickly told his friends to stay quiet. As they looked at him the officer walked up.
"Ah hah, I see the retard is making trouble once again. What did you do this time you quirkless freak?" the officer sneered as he looked down at Izuku who just stared at the man knowing that nothing he said would be believed by this quirkist dickhead.
Zip laughed out loud at the fact that Izuku was quirkless and told him that he would make sure he was put in his place. Soon the officer got Zip up off the ground after ordering Shoto to melt the ice after asking who froze him to the ground. Katsuki was using every technique he knew to keep his anger in check since Izuku had told them not to speak. As they were herded towards the car another police car pulled up to help transport everyone, Zip spent the whole time bragging about how he was going to have them all sent away and the key thrown away.
Izuku was separated from his friends with the purple haired boy into the asshole officer's car. He had to listen to the man put him down the whole time to the station. Once they got to the police station they were all shoved in a cell and left there. Once alone Izuku turned to Mei.
"Mei my dear, you wouldn't happen to be using your drone today would you? You know the one you use to record your shooting so you can review your performance?" He asked as a sly smile appeared.
Mei blinked before a crazy grin popped up on her face. "I sure was. I even upgraded it to stay close to me so it probably is traveling here as we speak. I give it twenty minutes before it will be here. Then I can maneuver it in here."
Katsuki and Shoto just stared at the two of them as they tried to catch up with what was happening.
Katsuki took a deep breath to settle his rage and asked, "What is going on? Why did you tell us to keep quiet back there? And what is up with Officer Asshat back there and you taking his abuse? The last person that did that, you made them cry as you tore into them by analyzing them. Why take it from him?"
"Because that dickhead has been a thorn in my side for years. He usually makes sure he says his shit to me where no one else can hear so it's always his word against mine and I'm just a poor confused quirkless boy. You know, like how easily someone like that can misunderstand what was said since they are not all there. But the dumbass fucked up today. He not only said that shit in front of other people, he got captured on video saying it too. Plus Zip doesn't know he was being recorded either. They are done. They just don't know it yet. We're going to let them hang themselves by letting them lay out their lies and then present the recording to contradict them. I'm also going to ask for Detective Tsukauchi to be present." Izuku told them making a wicked grin form on Katsuki's face and Shoto mumbled out he should have known Izuku would have a plan in mind, even as his own face broke out into a grin.
Unknown to the group of children a certain erasure hero was laying in the next cell resting after a long patrol were he had broke up a drug ring. He had been too tired to make it home and had taken Tsukauchi up on the offer to rest up before going home. He had informed his husband and wife so they knew where he was. But now he was fully awake as he listened to the kids in the next cell scheme. He got up and slinked out the door and peeked at the kids as they huddled around a green haired one who looked familiar. As he looked closer the two toned one moved and he saw a purple haired boy laying in the green haired one's lap. He immediately zeroed in on the fact the boy had cuts and blood on his face which was oozing down his cheek. Eraserhead bolted for the door and called for an officer to come open the door, making all the children jump in fright only to calm down at the word of the green haired one. Eraserhead approached the boys on the bench and knelt down to look at the purple haired boy. He saw raw wounds that looked as though something had dug into his skin and kept the wounds open.
"These look infected. Do you know what made them?" he asked as an officer handed him a medical kit, not moving the boy since he had tried to roll into the green haired boy's stomach at his approach. He wanted the boy to trust him and let him treat him but the purple haired boy seemed mistrustful of everyone that was not this group of children.
The green haired boy looked at the pink haired girl, who also looked familiar he thought, who pulled out a muzzle with blood on it edges and cut straps. She handed it to Eraserhead who took and scowled at it. He quickly handed back to her when the purple haired boy saw it and whimpered at the sight of it. He slowly leaned in with the antiseptic and a piece of gauze in his hands, showing them to the purple haired boy as he silently asked permission to clean his wounds. The boy stared at him for a long time as he searched his eyes before he nodded slightly. Letting out a breathe he didn't know he had been holding, Eraserhead leaned in to gently wipe at the wounds as the boy hissed in pain. As he got another piece of gauze he reached down to his phone and pressed a button he knew by heart that signaled for his partners that they were needed. He knew they would be racing here as soon as they could. He returned to cleaning the wounds before he applied medicine to the wounds and dressed them. Eraserhead then looked around at the children and made a decision. He quickly ordered the officers out and told them to lock him in with the children. He then ordered them to not open the door for anyone unless he said so.
The officers hurried to comply and posted a guard at his request. Once that was done he sat down to take the purple haired boy in his lap while looking around and pointed at the green haired boy and pink haired girl. "I know you two. I just can't remember from where."
"Well you did have ice cream melting in your car last time so you probably were not at your best when you saw us." replied the green haired boy with a shit eating grin on his face.
It suddenly came back to Eraserhead. He had helped rescue those two last year from kidnapers, well he only really followed the instructions of where to find them since the green haired boy had activated some distress signal and lead heros and police to them.
"Izuku Midoriya, Mei Hatsume, Katsuki Bakugou, Shoto Himura." the now named Izuku told him as he pointed to each person. "We don't know his name. We saved him from been harassed by Zip and he collapsed as soon as he wasn't being chased. We cut the muzzle off and we were going to make sure my mom got it so whoever put on him would get punished."
Eraserhead looked at the boy asking, "How would your mother make sure the person would get punished?"
"She is a lawyer. Inko Midoriya." the boy answered.
Eraserhead's eyebrow flew up since he reconized the name. He would feel sorry for the person responsible for the muzzle but they didn't deserve his pity. "Well I wish her the best of luck. I hope she drags them though the coals. So how about you tell me what happened and how you ended up in here."
Before Izuku could speak a small drone came floating in the window and settled in Mei's hand. Eraserhead looked at the window and shook his head. The girl approached the hero with the drone. "We can do you one better. If you will let me plug this into your phone I can show you."
Eraserhead slowly pulled out his phone and held it out while Mei inserted a cable into the phone. She stood beside him as he turned the phone to watch the video. The video started with Izuku and Mei shooting her paintball gun. She pushed a button and the video sped up, stopping as the girl was reloading her gun. As he watched the scene play out the hero got more and more angry. Once it was done he saved the video on his phone and thanked the girl for showing it to him.
About that time Zip and the asshole officer came back to get them. They were surprised to find a guard on the door. They told him to open the door so they could book the brats and about lost their minds when the guard told them no. Zip asked the guard if he knew who he was and the guard said he did but he had orders from another hero to not let anyone in without his permission, especially pieces of shit like him (unknown to Eraserhead and the children the guard had seen the video and was disgusted).
Zip turned red in rage and went to attack the guard only to get kicked in the back of the knee and have his hair grabbed from behind as he went down to a knee with a knee going to the small of his back. A female with light green hair leaned over him as she held his hair. "Hi. How about we calm down before I make you go bald the hard way ok?"
Zip nodded as much as he could before she released him. He immediately tried to turn around and punch her only to receive a hard punch to the temple from the tall blonde man to the side. As he went down the guard offered a set of cuffs to the blonde who took them with a thanks and cuffed the heros hands behind him. The green haired woman and blonde man then picked him up and walked to the next cell and tossed him in and closed the door, locking him in.
The man and woman then walked back to the guard who was now alone as the other officer had ran off screaming about heros attacking other heros and officers. "I believe Eraserhead is expecting us. Tell him Present Mic and Ms Joke are here."
The guard nodded before he opened the door and leaned in to talk to Eraserhead. Once the hero oked the two to enter, Present Mic and Ms Joke walked in to see Eraserhead sitting on the bench in the cell with a injured boy in his lap and four other children standing around him. The green haired one seemed to be vibrating with the blonde one holding him still with a hand on his shoulder. Present Mic looked at Eraserhead with a furrowed brow. Eraserhead quickly started signing to him, telling them he had something to show them but Present Mic was going to need to control himself so as to not release his quirk inside the cell and hurt the children. Present Mic and Ms Joke instantly knew that whatever they were about to be shown was not going to be good if Eraserhead was warning Present Mic to not scream.
The two heros sat on either side of Eraserhead as he pulled out his phone and started a video. As the video progressed the two heros' face got more and more smooth as they held themselves from leaping out of the cell to kick the shit out of the hero in the next cell and officer from the video.
As the two heros collected themselves Katsuki spoke up. "You know I'm kind of surprised that Auntie isn't raising hell trying to get us out of here or find out where we are. You don't suppose that officer neglected to contact our parents do you? Because that would be a really bad idea. All of our parents are important enough to be real pain in the asses if pissed off." Which caused Eraserhead to cock an eyebrow. Ms Joke hopped up and went to speak with guard about whether or not the parents had been contacted. After speaking with the guard he called the front desk only to be informed that no their parents hadn't been contacted after checking the log. They had been told that the children were homeless and found living on the beach. The officer who brought them in said he was taking care of the arrangements with Child Protection Services. CPS was sending someone to look after the children. Ms Joke left to go sort out the problem since the children all had parents. Izuku sighed before he sat down on the floor and took off his shoe. He pulled off the heel and pushed the button knowing he was unleashing hell. Mei giggled as she knew what that was while Katsuki and Shoto took a moment to get it before grinning. Eraserhead nodded in understanding knowing the children had been waiting for their parents to arrive only to find out they hadn't even been contacted.
The first they knew the parents were there was the shout in the voice of one Mitsuki Bakugou, "WHERE THE FUCK ARE OUR CHILDREN?" as it rattled the rafters of the building.
"Well mom's here." Katsuki said with an amused grin on his face.
The temperature in the room dropped suddenly and Shoto smiled. "There's a sure sign my mother is pissed. She prides herself on her control. You might want to tell the guard to move unless he wants to be frozen."
Present Mic jumped up at the suggestion and spoke to the guard who quickly opened the door and stood to the side. Trailing frost across the ground a very pissed Rei Himura walked into the cell going to Shoto and pulling him into a hug. She was followed by a grit teethed Mitsuki Bakugou who rushed to towards Katsuki and yanked him into her arms. As she tried to smother the boy she told Mei that her mother was on the way, she just had further to travel then they did. Mei nodded in understanding knowing her mother had been out on a job at a hero agency today. Izuku just stood there knowing his mother was probably reading the riot act to the police. So he was surprised when Chizome Akaguro came through the door and grabbed him in a hug. Eraserhead did stiffen at first since he recognized the man but relaxed when Izuku hugged the man back. Chizome told Izuku that his intuition was correct as his mother was ripping into everyone she could find.
Soon a cowed officer came to collect them and asked them to follow him to a conference room where they found Inko and the chief of police talking, or to be more accurate the chief was apologizing while Inko looked like she was trying to calm down. Once everyone was seated Inko turned to look at the group. "Ok. Can someone explain why my eleven year old son and his friends are in a police station and apparently has been for hours without their parents being informed?"
Slowly Eraserhead moved the purple haired boy to Present Mic's lap and stood up. He explained what he knew and told them that they had only realized the parents hadn't been informed when Katsuki had found it strange that Inko hadn't been doing exactly as she was doing right now already. That as soon as they realized that, Izuku had triggered the distress signal in his shoe since he knew it would get her attention right away. Inko nodded her understanding. Then she asked where the officer that had brought them in was. She was then informed the man had met the brass knuckles of Ms Joke and was resting next to his piece of shit hero buddy. The chief started to protest until Eraserhead interrupted him and said he needed to wait until he saw the video. Mei plugged her drone into the projector they had brought in and they watched what happened earlier that day. All the parents were horrified and angered. The chief assured them that the two men would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Then he said he was sorry but though the children did good and he was willing to overlook the uses of their quirks when they were defending themselves, they were still guilty of public quirk use at the beach by their own admission. The parents all smirked as Izuku stood up and pulled out his wallet, pulling a card out and handing it to the chief. The man looked down and was surprised to see a quirk councilor card in his hands. He excused himself to go verify that it was legitimate. Several minutes later he came back handing the card back to Izuku and told them they were all free to go.
All the children except the purple haired boy were all herded outside and into their respective cars and taken home.
Shota Aizawa watched as the other four children were taken away by their parents as he held the other boy in his arms. He looked at his husband and wife and asked where the car was. Hizashi pulled his phone out and texted a number after which a misty portal formed in front of them. Shota looked at Hizashi and Emi with a surprised look on his face as he nodded to the portal.
"When we saw you were signaling from a police station we thought there was an attack going on or something so we rushed to Kurogiri's bar and had him send us here." Emi explained with a shrug as they walked through the portal. They arrived in front of their apartment where the mist turned into man shape. One look at the boy in Shota's arms and another portal formed to which they were informed it led to Recovery Girl's office which had the three thanking Kurogiri for the quick trip. The mist man told them to message him when they wanted to come back. The three stepped through and entered UA and knocked on the office door. The old heroine opened the door with a glare since she was about to go home but stopped when she took in the three heros and the child in Shota's arms. She just nodded and led them inside pointing to a bed. Shota set the boy down gently as the old woman looked the boy over. She noted his various injuries as she checked his face and x-rayed him to give him a complete look over. She noted several healed breaks in his arms where it looked like someone twisted his arm behind him until it broke and cracks in his ribs where it looked like he had been beaten like a punching bag. His neck had raw spots where it looked like some kind of straps had rubbed the hair and skin thin. She finished and informed the three heros of the results of her exam. Hizashi excused himself and marched out the door. After several minutes they heard the sound of him using his quirk in the distance for a very long time. After that he returned looking less tightly wound and better prepare to go forward.
Recovery Girl did inform them she had find an address on the inside the boy's shirt that was the address of a local orphanage. The three heros looked at each other and nodded. Before they could ask the old woman told them she would stay with the boy and keep an eye on him. They thanked her and left. They called Kurogiri who opened a portal for them to their apartment. The three quickly jumped in their car and started towards the orphanage. As they arrived they saw Chizome Akaguro stalking down the sidewalk towards them.
As the three heros stepped out of the car Chizome pulled up short at the appearance of the three in front of him. "Hello. I went back to the beach and backtracked the path the purple haired boy took. Izuku informed his mother of the fact that when the boy first showed up he had a muzzle on. She was livid and asked me to find out where he was from so she could make sure he didn't go back to such a place again. I know you took him so he could get further medical care. I take it you found this place in a different way?"
Shota responded. "The nurse that treated him found the address of this place on inside of his shirt. We were just about to pay them a visit. Would you like to join us?" Present Mic and Ms Joke looked at him but stayed silent figuring he knew what he was doing.
Chizome nodded before he reached into a pocket to turn on a camera hidden in a button on his shirt. When he noticed them looking at him he explained what he did to which the three nodded at the forethought to record evidence. The four then turned and walked to the front door of the orphanage. Shota knocked on the door which was yanked open a few minutes later by an obese man in a food stained shirt and pants. The man looked like he had been laying in food as he ate while his hands were greasy like he had been eating with his hands. The man belched before asked what they wanted.
Shota waved his hand in front of his face to get rid of the man's rancid breath. "We are here to find out the identity of a young boy who was involved in an attack earlier today. He was injured and hasn't woke up as of yet. We found the address to this place in his shirt. Are you missing any children?"
"Yeah. Little villain by the name of Hitoshi Shinso. Little shit likes to run off all the time. Send him back when he wakes up I'll take care of his punishment." the fat man replied.
Shota had to hold himself back from hauling off and punching this man in the face. "That may be as you say but we need to have a look around since some of his injuries didn't seem to come from just the attack. We want to make sure he is safe here."
The man got a sharp look in his eye before he punched Shota in the chest. Chizome was suddenly there landing a blow to the man's head. He put the man in a hold to immobilize him as the man yelled, "You took off his muzzle didn't you?! He has you under his control. I'm trying to help you. The only way out of it is physical pain." The man finally quieted down after Chizome choked him out.
"Sorry. I just reacted." Chizome said when he stood back up. The three heros just shrugged and handed him some cuffs to restrain the man. After they struggled to pick him up and move him out of the way they entered and closed the door. They then started to investigate the orphanage. They found the director's office to be a pig sty with trash piled all around. They then found the dinner hall where they found a half eaten pile of food on one table while all the other tables seemed to have bowls of thin gruel in them. They all felt angered and disgusted that the man seem to be barely feeding the children while he gorged himself on food. Next they started upstairs towards where it seemed the bedrooms were. They found several dorm style rooms with two children in each. They reassured the children that they were safe and that the obese man was no longer in charge. To which the children cheered. When the cheering died down they heard a thumping from a room locked with a padlock that they thought was a closet. Chizome approached it when several children shouted that he shouldn't open the door, that the child locked in there was dangerous. When he asked how they were dangerous they told him she liked to bite people and lick their blood. Chizome then asked how long she had been in there and they told him they didn't know. The obese man had fed her through a slot at the bottom of the door ever since she bit him when she complained about needing blood and he slapped her. Chizome told everyone to stand back as he rushed the door and broke it open. When Hizashi went to help Chizome yelled "Stay back! She is feral right now!" As they watched from across the hall they saw him offer his arm to a dirty blonde girl. The girl twitched and jumped at him to latch on to his arm. As she sucked she made mewling sounds as she swallowed the blood. Chizome slowly reached out to stroke her hair and the girl started to purr. He pulled his arm away making her whine before he picked her up and offered his neck. The girl latched on and settled into his arms. He turned around and walked out with her. When he got out of the room he looked around at everyone staring at him.
"She was in quirk psychosis. She had been starved of blood which I'm guessing she needs for her quirk. It was making her into a wild creature that would do anything to get what it needed. I understand because my quirk requires blood too. Also since my quirk is blood related it automatically filters out contaminates and makes me the safest person to give her blood." As he finished the girl sighed and moved her head away from his neck and snuggled into his shoulder where she fell asleep after a full meal.
Emi cooed at him and Shota just nodded. Hizashi joined them from where he was explaining that the girl's quirk was nothing to be afraid of. With proper care she was just like them and it was the obese man's fault that she was like this since he had starved her of something she needed. They herded the children downstairs to the dining room where they let them pick through the food to eat while Shota stepped in the hall to call the authorities.
Soon the orphanage was swarming with first responders as they checked all the children and to figure out what to do since the orphanage director was arrested. CPS sent a temporary staff member to oversee the building and children. Once everything seemed to be under control the three heros got ready to leave when they noticed Chizome walking out with the blonde girl. When he noticed their stares he informed them he wasn't leaving her here and was adopting her himself. He had already talked with the CPS representative and told them to contact Inko Midoriya as a reference. He also told them he learned her name was Himiko Toga and he would let her choose if she wanted to take his last name. With that the man left and disappeared down the street.
Shota shook his head as the other two laughed. They all were quiet on the ride back to UA, lost in their own thoughts. They soon arrived back at the school and headed to the infirmary to check on the child they left there. As they opened the door a purple head blur smacked into Shota's legs. As he looked down he saw bright eyes looking back at him.
"We're adopting him. He is mine." Shota said.
"Called it." His husband and wife announced behind him.
