Mitsuki Bakugo was described as loud, brash woman by most people that knew or had met her. But what most people don't know is that in the world she grew up in that her personalty was perfectly normal considering she grew up as a Yakuza princess along her sister. But even though she had the personalty for that world she didn't like being apart of it. So she asked her father when she entered high school if she could live away from that lifestyle and leave the Yakuza behind when she graduated to live her own life away from the underworld. Her father thought a long time on the matter and decided that he would rather his daughter be happy then stuck in a life she didn't want. So he gave the order that Mitsuki was to be considered separate from the organization, a way of saying she was to have no contact or standing with their organization. He didn't declare her dead because he wanted to leave her a way to come to them if there was ever a chance she needed protection she couldn't gain from regular society. He was a stern man but he did love his daughters, so he left in that small continency for his own peace of mind.
Mitsuki's younger sister Akino on the other hand fully embraced the role of Yakuza princess and lorded it over everyone she could, which is why her father had to assign guards to her at a young age. Akino partied, barely went to school, and ran her own gang at one point. So she couldn't even fathom why Mitsuki would want to walk away from the Yakuza lifestyle and basically told sister she was dead to her when she left. That was the last thing Mitsuki ever heard from her sister and thought that would be last time she would ever have anything to do with her sister.
So when her best friend Inko called her down to a police station after the children where brought there to give statements after being involved in another random altercation, the last thing on her mind was it would have anything to do with her past life. But as soon as she walked in the office where the children were sitting and saw the little white haired girl that looked exactly like a younger version of her sister just with a small horn on her head, she knew the past was getting ready to bite her in the ass.
Trying to stay calm, Mitsuki brought her clasped hands to her chin with the index fingers pointed towards her nose and took a deep breath before she said in a even voice, "Does someone want to explain why there is a clone of my younger sister sitting on my son's lap? Can you explain how what appears to be my niece from a woman who considers me dead to her, is here? I swear to all that is Holy if you kids raided a Yakuza stronghold or something, I am going to kill you, bring you back to life and then kill you again. I left that life more then twenty years ago and have had no contact with anyone ever. In fact I have walked past people I know full well are part of that life and ignored them just to make sure I stick to the agreement I made with my father. So how is that life crashing down on us now?"
Inko then went on to tell Mitsuki how her niece, which she found out was named Eri, had literally ran into Katsuki while running from a man chasing her. Then she found out how her son and friends had sprung into action to rescue the little girl and get the suspected Yakuza member arrested. Then how Inko walked in, took one look at the girl and knew shit was about to hit the fan. Inko also told her she had already gotten a blood test started using Katsuki and Eri, just so they would know for certain if she was related to them.
Mitsuki stood processing all this for a few moments and wishing Masaru was here and not two cities away on an appointment to tailor some suits for some celebrity. Just when she had rolled her head around on her neck and thought she was ready to deal with the situation, the hospital tech that was there to do the blood test walked in and handed the results to Tsukauchi who looked at them, looked up and then looked at them again in a double take. Inko noticed this and stepped over to the detective, who offered the paper to Inko while pointing at a specific place on the paper.
Noticing her friend's confused look while Inko looked at the paper, Mitsuki asked, "What's wrong? Is she not related to us and this is the biggest coincidence ever?"
Inko looked at her friend with a worried look on her face as she said, "Well she's not your niece it turns out."
Mitsuki started to laugh in relief since it seemed like her past life wasn't coming back to haunt her. She nearly choked on her tongue when Inko dropped the bombshell on her with her next words.
"According this Eri is Katsuki's half sister and you are her mother. She has a different father. Since I know you would never cheat on Masaru, you love the man too much, I'm at a loss to explain this."
Mitsuki blinked a couple times, looked at her son who had a stunned look on his face before they both looked at the little girl on his lap and promptly fainted to the floor.
"She took that better then I expected." Inko said as she moved to help her friend into a more comfortable position on the floor.
After the shocking revelation that Katsuki had a sister, one they had saved at that, Izuku asked if him and his friends could go home while the adults tried to figure out what was going on. His mother looked at him strangely thinking her son would want to be there to support his friend through this and also help try to investigate. She realized that was what he was going to do when he subtlety made a typing motion with his fingers, he just was going to be doing everything he could, even if it wasn't totally legal. She got the feeling a lot of criminal organizations were going to be laid bare in the next few days in her son's quest for an answer.
Once she checked with Tsukauchi that it was ok for the kids to go home she sent them on their way in a squad car with a couple officers the police were more then happy to provide. Then Inko proceeded to comfort her shocked friend while she acted as a buffer for anymore shocking news.
Once back home Izuku filled his father in on what had happened and asked to not be disturbed as he headed to his room. His friends all looked after him and decided that it would be better to not know what the green haired boy was about to do. So they all said their goodbys to go home, though Shoto did have Momo call her father to have armed guards come pick up her and Melissa, who was staying with Momo until school started since their families worked together. Tenya called his brother to let him know what was happening and to meet him at Mei's house since he was going to walk her home to make sure she got there safely, Hitoshi called his mother to let her in on the drama and to see if she could get Uncle Kurogiri to warp him home before his dads found out about the Yakuza connection to what happened. (Shota already knew since he was friends with Tsukauchi) She said she would see what she could do and a few minutes later a portal appeared on the Midoriya back porch in front of Hitoshi, which he stepped through with a wave to Himiko.
Chizome checked the entire house after everyone left to make sure the house was secure. Once that was done he called the QRA offices to request the house be watched just in case someone thought it would be a good idea to come there. He then strapped on a couple of swords and climbed onto the roof to sit in the shadow of the chimney. He'd rather seem paranoid then to let someone harm his children.
Meanwhile back in Izuku's room a conversation was taking place.
"I know you are halfway across the world but you and your family are the only people I know who have ever had any dealings with a Yakuza clan before so I thought you might have some advice to help me. Well I guess the not knowing someone who has dealt with Yakuza isn't true since I've known Auntie Mitsuki all my life. But I didn't know she had dealings with Yakuza. So does that really count?" Izuku babbled towards a computer screen.
"I don't think you can hold it against her when it sounds like she really meant to leave that life in her past. As for dealing with Yakuza my advice would be to tread lightly and don't draw attention to yourself to keep your family safe." replied the bespectacled turtle man on the screen. "But we both know you aren't going to follow that advice since I can hear the clacking of keys even as we talk meaning you are probably hacking into something you shouldn't to try to find out information about this Yakuza clan."
"Actually Donatello I'm hacking medical records for my aunt to try to figure out how she has a daughter when she hasn't been pregnant since she had Katsuki. I'm pretty sure we would have all noticed if she had been pregnant six years ago and given away a baby." snarked Izuku as his fingers flew across his keyboard.
Donatello was going to quip back when Izuku stopped with a thoughtful look on his face. Suddenly Izuku hunched over his keyboard as he typed and mumbled to himself as lighting speed. "Seven years ago she had her appendix out. Since then I'm not sure if she's even had much more then a cold so that would have been about the only time someone could have gotten close enough to extract some of her eggs. They probably harvested several because they wouldn't know if they would be able to in the future. Hmmmm, let's see if there are any kind of records at the hospital since they would have wanted to follow the proper procedures to make sure the eggs stayed stable. No, nothing in her medical file. Nothing in the doctor's notes who did the surgery. Let's check to see if there are any Oocyte retrievals on file for the same day as Auntie. Oh that's interesting there was a procedure done that day on a M. Bakugou but the bill for it was paid for in cash according this billing list. The extracted eggs were sent by medical transport to a clinic in Tokyo where they were signed for by a Dr. Phau. Hmmm, looking at the records of this clinic it appears to be a legitimate fertility clinic. So that means that whoever got Auntie's eggs taken from her had it done without this doctor knowing."
Donatello watched the young boy analyze and hack the hospital records as inspiration hit him about how she could have had a daughter. Having her eggs extracted for in vitro fertilization made a lot of sense when Mrs. Bakugou didn't know about the daughter. Which means someone stole them from her to use and have the young girl in question. "Izuku, Izuku , hey look at me. I know you are ready to delve into trying to figure out who did this to your auntie but if this involves Yakuza like you say then they are not going to be happy if you go snooping around their business. So what I'm proposing is that you back off for awhile and calm yourself. Take a nap and clear your mind so you don't make any mistakes. Trust me, I know from experience about rushing to extract information from those type of people. They build their systems to look sloppy and easy to get into just so they can back trace you when you are poking around the system for information. Reach back out to me when you have done that and I will have finished setting up a ghost system to trap them if they try to trace you during your hacking, OK?"
Izuku took a deep breath and nodded, knowing that Donnie was right. He needed to go into this with a clear head if he wanted to find answers. So he told the turtle man goodbye and logged off. He then laid down on his bed to let his body rest while his mind whirled with information to try to fit into the puzzle in his mind.
Donatello turned from his computer and looked at his two brothers who were standing off to the side, both turning off the alerts on their phones he sent to them. "How would you feel about a trip to Japan? I think they could use our help since we have dealt with this type of organization before so we could help spot anything out of the ordinary."
"Sounds fun. I was getting bored around here anyways. Been meaning to go visit Mom and Pop. Besides I can draw my comics from anywhere, so it's no skin off my nose." replied Mikey
"I'm all for it. Sounds like someone screwed with my little anger buddy's mom and that shit isn't cool. Plus I'll most likely get to smash some heads. Let me grab my bag and we can get ready to go." Raph said with a smirk.
"Alright sounds good. Meet me back in here when you are ready to go. I got a few things to take care of before we go." Donnie told them as he went into his shop.
About thirty minutes later Mikey and Raph came back to find Donnie. They found him sitting at his computer seemly going over some kind of readings.
"Ready to go? We are going to need to hurry if we want to catch the next flight to Japan if what I'm reading is correct on this app." Mikey said as he set his bags down on the floor.
"Oh we're not flying. I can get us there much quicker." Donnie said as he hit the enter key on his computer. There was a flash of light and a feeling of being pulled apart before their sight came back to them standing in room with some kind of machine in it and Leo standing to the side.
Mikey leaned over and retched while Raph stepped forward to slug Donnie in the shoulder. "God Damn It, you big brained shmuck. Fucking warn us when you are going to teleport us. My fucking teeth feel electrified again. Going to taste like I ate a battery for days again. Stupid geniuses."
Donnie rubbed his shoulder and said "Oops" as he realized he hd forgot to tell his brothers he was going to do that in his rush to get here to help.
Leo just sighed before motioning for his brothers to follow him. He leads them to the living area of the dojo where their mother and father as sitting at a table drinking tea.
"My sons, it is good to see you all together once again. Leonardo has filled me in on what is happening. I know we have already dealt with much from Yakuza and we said we would move on with our own lives after the defeat of the Shredder but it pleases me that you would once again step forward to combat this type of evil." Master Splinter told his sons with a bow of his head.
"To tell you the truth Pops, we kind of miss this after growing up doing it most of our lives. Even if we weren't helping out the little dude, we'd probably still do it just for the fun and thrills." said Mikey as he fist bumped Raph who just grinned.
The old man just nodded before turning back to his tea. When he next glanced around the room his four sons were gone.
Chizome became aware he wasn't alone when he sensed a presence appear at the other end of his roof. He barely moved his eyes to glance at the presence only to relax when he saw his sword master crouched there. The two men just nodded to each other and kept watch over the neighborhood.
Inside the house Izuku sprung out of his bed while tossing his alarm clock at the person who was in his room. The person just barely caught the clock before it smacked in to his face. "Nice reflexes and attack, but is that the way to treat someone who is here to help you?" Donnie said as he set the clock on Izuku's desk.
"Wha-? How are you here? How long was I asleep? It takes like fourteen hours to get here from New York. I wasn't asleep that long. Were you already here or on your way?" Izuku rapidly spit out as his brain kicked into gear.
"I teleported me, Raph and Mikey here from my lab. And before you ask it only works for my family because I had to spend hundreds of hours programing in our DNA profiles. For each one of us. Or it makes you explode. Violently. But that is beside the point. My brothers and I are here to help. Raph is watching over your friends that don't live in the neighborhood while Mikey is watching your mother and everyone else at the police station. Me and Leo are here. Him guarding with your father and me to help you hack. I'll watch your back in system while you hack so they don't trace you back here. Not that I think you will get caught because I've seen you hack but with these type of people it's better to be safe then sorry."
"You're telling me you could have zapped yourself here from New York at anytime in the last six or seven years? Oh I'm introducing you to Mei's mother and you can't stop me. I hope she ties your asexual ass down in some sort of relationship." snarked Izuku as he stepped past Donnie, who sputtered, to sit down at his computer. He held out hand for the older man give him the cable from his own laptop so Izuku could hook him into the boy's system.
"Ok, lets see what we can figure out. First I'm going back to that fertility clinic to see if I can find who got Auntie's eggs and if that is where Eri was conceived. From there we will just follow the information to where ever it goes ok?" stated Izuku before he focused in on his computer. Donnie gave him a thumbs up and started tapping his keys to help the green haired boy.
In short order Izuku was able to tear though the records of the fertility clinic where he learned that Mitsuki's eggs were only used by one person, her sister Akino. He also learned that Akino had used the services of a surrogate because she had her reproductive organs removed a few years prior because she had mouthed off to a rival Yakuza member and been stabbed badly. Tapping into some Dark Web sites they learned from some posts on underworld chats that Akino had gone behind her father's back to acquire the eggs from Mitsuki and the old man had not been happy with his daughter when he found out and almost tossed her out but didn't because of Eri. Apparently the old man was extremely taken with his granddaughter and that is the only thing that kept Akino even slightly in her father's good graces. In that time Akino also seemed to settle down and got married to Eri's father a higher up lieutenant of her father's. Everything seemed to be relatively ok in all the posts they sifted though up until posts started to have rumors of the father up and disappearing in some kind of quirk accident with his daughter.
That information piqued Izuku's interest since it had something to do with a quirk, so he went delving into the systems of what he now knew was called the Shie Hassaikai Yakuza. He was looking for what happened after Eri's father disappeared. Did the man get hurt and was in some hospital getting treatment? Where was Akino now and why wasn't she with her daughter? Was she with her husband while she left her daughter with her father? What happened to Eri's grandfather and who was this Kai person she said hurt her? He was going to find out everything he could so they would know what kind of plans they would need to make to protect Eri and everyone else.
After conferring with Donnie, Izuku looks for any footage of Eri's quirk accident. He finally finds it on a back up server that hadn't been wiped like it should have been. Both Izuku and Donnie watch the footage as who they assume is Eri's father comes rushing into her room after the young girl starts yelling because her horn starts glowing and some kind of energy comes off of her. He picks her up to try to calm her down and the energy surrounds him too. At first it doesn't seem to be doing anything until they notice he seems to be getting younger and younger. They watch in disbelief as the father seems to deage in front of their eyes until he simple is gone. They also notice Akino comes in at the end when her husband disappears and Eri passes out and begins freaking out. Not once do they see her try to comfort her daughter, instead seeming to blame her for destroying her chances of taking over the Shie Hassaikai when her father retired. She then goes on to rant that the plan to take over while her father doted on his granddaughter was gone because her daughter killed her husband and she wanted nothing to do with demon spawn. Luckily Eri was still passed out so she didn't hear her mother say that or her grandfather backhanding Akino across the face. Eri's grandfather then ordered his daughter to be picked up and taken away. After some further digging Izuku finds that Akino was sent off to Europe and banned from coming back to Japan. The leader then started raising Eri himself and had what seemed to be a close subordinate care for her when he couldn't.
Digging into the information about the subordinate Izuku discovers the man's name is Kai Chisaki, which triggered Izuku's memory since Eri said that Kai made her go away and come back. Deciding to look into that he starts looking for what that means. When he discovers what those words mean he throws himself from his computer towards the trash can where he preceded to violently vomit until bile came up. Donnie wasn't much better after seeing a young girl reduced to a blood splatter and then brought back, usually crying in pain as that sadistic fuck then scraped up the blood into vials to be handed off to somebody in a lab coat.
Wiping his mouth Izuku shuts down the program he was using to hack through after he backs up everything he took from the Shie Hassaikai. Turning to Donnie, "That was pure Evil. I know it doesn't sound very heroic but that man deserves to die. Painfully. But that is not my decision. I am giving this to my father so he can put this Shie Hassaikai and Kai Chisaki at the top of the most wanted list. They need to be gone, the sooner the better."
Standing up and hugging the young man Donnie told Izuku that hopefully they could catch them as soon as possible. They then went to find the two swordsmen on the roof.
Chizome stormed into the QRA gripping the hard drive Izuku gave him after showing him the video of what Kai Chisaki was doing to Eri. He may not have met the young girl yet but he already cared for her since she was Mitsuki's daughter. Seeing what that sick fuck was capable of he immediately went to his office and ordered an arrest warrant for the entire Shie Hassaikai organization and a dead or alive order on Kai Chisaki. While he was doing this his partner Kaina Tsutsumi , Lady Nagant walks in to read over his shoulder and frowns at the orders.
"Holy shit! What did these guys, especially that Kai guy do for you to immediately put them at the top of the wanted list and get basically a kill order?" she asked with a shocked look. Chizome just minimizes the screen and pulls up a video of Kai with Eri. After it finishes Kaina turns her head to look him in the face. "Does he still need to be recognizable after he's dead? Because if not I'm going to use a fifty caliber hollow point to make sure he is extremely dead."
Chizome just nods in approval.
Kai Chisaki was raging as he and Hari Kurono sped away in a stolen car. How in the fuck did the Heros learn about his experiments with that brat's blood. He had been so close to it working if only temporarily. Just a few more months and they could have had a working prototype. But now he was on the run and the Shie Hassaikai seemed to be being taken down by police and Heros. He would have to regroup and see if anyone else escaped from the raid that destroyed their headquarters. He vowed to kill the bastard that brought that undercover Hero into the base and let her tear the place apart when she turned into a giant. If he hadn't been able to use his quirk to rapidly make a tunnel to escape she would have buried him in the rubble. He would get his revenge.
Yu Takeyama was pissed. Pissed Kai Chisaki had gotten away yeah but she was mostly pissed at herself for losing her cool and attacking the man on sight. But when she had seen the man, all see could see was the video that she had been shown as part of her briefing for this undercover assignment. She had wanted to be a hero for as long as she could remember but started to lose her way as she grew older since the industry focused on popularity and flashiness. But when the HPSC got destroyed and replaced with the QRA, she had taken a good look at herself and asked herself if she still wanted to be a Hero. She decided yes she wanted to help people and buckled down to reapply herself to that. So she shifted her focus from gaining attention and to being something more then someone who grew to giant size. To her surprise she found out she was good at gathering information because most people dismissed the bubbly blonde woman as an air head and talked about anything and everything in front of her.
So that was why when the arrest warrant for the Shie Hassaikai and the Dead or Alive order for Kai Chisaki were issued, her and her boyfriend Shinji a.k.a. Kamui Woods immediately volunteered to gather information for a raid. She visited known Yakuza hang out spots and basically maneuvered herself onto the arm of some low level thug of the Shie Hassaikai and manipulated him into bringing her inside. Everything had been going to plan until that evil asshole had walked by and all she saw was the little girl being ripped apart and put back together and punched him into the ground as she blew up to her giant size. She kept pounding the ground over him until she realized that there was a tunnel dug in the ground and the fucker escaped. After that she proceeded to destroy the section of the headquarters that housed the lab so that evil shit wouldn't exist anymore.
Now she was sitting on the back of a squad car in a jogging suit that Shinji brought her since she shredded her clothes when she went giant. She was listening to Sir Nighteye bitch about how she had ruined the case he had been building against the Shie Hassaikai and he was very close to getting an arrest warrant for the their leaders.
"Uh, excuse me, but there is already an arrest warrant out on the entire organization and a Dead or Alive order on Kai Chisaki. Why would you need to get one?" Yu asked which stopped Sir Nighteye in his tracks.
"Why is there basically a kill order on the Boss's adopted son. Why not the Boss himself? Also how did the police get an arrest warrant issued for the entire organization? I've been tracking them for Trigger manufacturing and distribution. I don't think Kai Chisaki is anything more then an attack dog for his adopted father. Though I'm starting to think I might be missing something." said Sir Nighteye as he stopped yelling at the young woman.
"You are missing a lot but if you were focused on tracking the Trigger I can see how you might have not realized that there had been a shake up in the leadership of the Shie Hassaikai recently. Also some of the information was very recently obtained and hasn't been shared yet to avoid leaks." Chizome answered as he walked up. "I had sent you this information just this morning at your office by courier but it seems you were out of the office. Apparently on a stake-out to gather information on the Shie Hassaikai. This seems to be a unfortunate series of events that prevented us from working together. Also Ms. Takeyama was only suppose to be gathering information for a raid at a later date. But see as she came face to face with Kai Chisaki I can understand why she acted as she did. I personally would have tried to kill him myself if I had the chance."
"What has Chisaki done to have you openly admitting to wanting to kill him in front of so many heros and law enforcement?" Sir Nighteye asked because he knew that Chizome Akaguro was not a man to use his position for a vendetta or gain so they must have some evidence to back up this wanting to kill the man on sight.
Chizome then hands Sir Nighteye a tablet as he says, "Mirai watch this and then ask us that again."
Mirai pushes the play button and discovers he thought he had known how sick some people were but discovers an even more disgusting and disturbing low. Even he that thought himself level headed, logical and rational found he wanted this man dead too.
