Chapter 24

Sirius was drifting in the land of dreams when fast footsteps approached his room. Remus slammed the door wide open as he jumped on the bed next to Sirius, shaking him to wake up.

"Get up, you silly mutt!" Remus yelled.

Sirius woke up, panicked, grabbing his wand and looking around before turning his attention to the man next to him.

"What the fuck man, who does that!?" Sirius moved off the bed to the toilet, yawning.

Raising from his bed, Sirius was about to head for the bathroom when Remus angrily entered behind him.

"Can't I take a piss without my nanny watching too!" Sirius rolled his eyes and waited for his friend to talk.

Remus slapped him in the head, really hard. After what seemed to be eternity, Remus let out a harsh breath first.

"You have to see this," He showed the newspaper in front of Sirius.

Sirius gave a quick glance before continuing his business. Thenhe stopped and stood still as he glanced up again, gaping at the headline.

The headline of the daily prophet screaming in his face.

"Sirius Black, guilty or a victim of a conspiracy!? By Rita Skeeter."

He looked at his friend speechless, his mouth wide open.

Remus shook his head puzzled by the behavior of his fellow marauder. Sirius then snatched the newspaper from Remus.

"Wash your hands mate!" Remus groaned, disgusted "There will be a meeting in an hour," He said leaving Sirius frozen.

Harry's morning was no different than Sirius. At first he was just having his breakfast, feeling too tired to even care for the reason of the whispers around the hall.

He looked up and greeted Daphne as usual, their good morning routine. She seemed fine, which he was relieved to see.

He heard Hermione yawning by his side,

her night was the same as his, except that she had spent the entire night in the library looking at what Harry had asked of her.

And by the depressed aura around her, Hermione hasn't found anything, apparently.

She kept yawning over the breakfast table and Harry felt sorry for her. A part of him wanted to tell her to give up.

"Hermione, if you did not find anything, it's fine, just drop it," He whispered.

She sobered and looked at him.

"No, I will find it, don't worry…" She said, determined. "You would tell me, won't you?"

"Next time Hermione," He sighed, turning back to his breakfast, he was simply in deep thoughts after his night with Severus Snape.

His first move on his plan started and he needed to be careful in the next few days.

He should thank his mother for her latest words to him.

What she told him was the reason for his whole change in plan in the first place.

And as the quote says 'keep your allies close and your enemies closer…'

Once Harry walked inside the bat's office, preparing himself for the additional training.

Severus Snape was sitting behind his desk, busy correcting some essays, he barely acknowledged the presence of Harry.

The Gryffindor coughed awkwardly, hoping to catch the professor's attention.

"Have a seat, Potter." Snape said, not looking at him. Harry obeyed and took the opportunity to stare freely at the office.

There were too many jars containing animals, plants…

It was no surprise from the office of the famous potion master.

"I'm surprised you came!" Snape smirked before adding "I thought you would run and beg for the headmaster to cancel the lesson, I'm impressed!" he sneered, leaning back against his chair.

Harry saw in the man's dark eyes, his dislike and irritation at having the boy in his office after his daily lessons.

But he preferred to swallow his savage replies for the man another time.

"I would never disrespect your efforts in such a manner," Harry replied instead.

Snape raised a brow, not buying it. But he could see that Potter wasn't mocking or being his usual sarcastic self, but the complete opposite.

"This may not be an ordinary class, Potter," Said Snape.

"I'm fully aware of that, sir,"

"Now, Occlumency. As I told you back in your dear godfather's house, this branch of magic seals the mind against magical intrusion and outside influence."

"I know what Occlumency is, sir," Harry breathed out.

"Very well, you saved me the bother of explaining then," Snape rose from his chair and walked around the desk.

"Why does Professor Dumbledore think I need it, sir?" Inquired Harry, crossing his legs and looking directly into Snape's dark cold eyes, wondering whether he would answer.

Aften the will hearing during christmas, he started to look at Dumbledore in a different way. As a young boy new to this world, he had looked up to him.

But with Sirius and Remus's appearance in his life and with Voldemort's resurrection and his marriage, everything changed, there was a veil of shadow around the headmaster. Shadow full of mystery.

Why does he sometimes let things happen and then say it has to happen, or it was for the greater good?

What does the greater good even mean in the first place?

Why did he let Harry stay in the dark instead of informing him? After studying a lot of books about death and resurrection in Grimmauld place during his stay, he knows that there was some connection between him and the dark lord.

But Dumbledore doesn't want him to get involved and Molly never lets him wander too much around the order's members either, claiming he was too young to be involved in the fight against Voldemort, ignoring the fact that Harry had not only been confronted to the dark lord on multiple occasions but also has been his primary target for the last few years.

For heaven's sake, he was able to get married and travel to Paris in one night and no one discovered that.

Daphne told him to be smarter than Dumbledore and Voldemort… And with Lily's revelation, he knew what to do. Dumbledore wasn't his leader, he was his ally.

Snape looked back at him for a moment and then said contemptuously, "Surely even you could have worked that out by now, Potter?" The Dark Lord is highly skilled at Legilimency,"

Right, Snape was a spy for this reason,to know all about Voldemort's strenghts and weaknesses.

"You think he was able to control my mind that night?"

Snape wanted to groan, he hated the questions or answering them.

"Yes,"

Harry relaxed in his chair," You are mistaken then, I'm pretty sure he wasn't at that moment," He waved his hand in the air.

Even though it was still a puzzle to him, he had a long night discussing this with Daphne and long white nights of endless research about this whole incident.

"Excuse me?"

"I excuse you, professor…" He sighed before standing up "you don't need to train me…by the way I came to know the real reasons now that I do,I don't think I have to waste my time or yours in such a thing," He patted Severus's shoulder.

Snape's eyes widened, surprised by the bold reaction of the boy who stood up and was about to leave.

"You cannot leave!" Snape exclaimed. "You need to protect your mind!"

Harry wanted to roll his eyes, he already had Occlumency lessons with Remus and he still has a lot to do this week.

"I don't want to bother you, sir...also I'm trained, thank you." He said, ready to open the door.

"Potter!" Snape grasped him harshly from his shoulders and turned him around, face to face with him.

Harry's reflexes reacted, he grabbed the professor by his collar and pushed him against the door.

Snape didn't expect Harry's defensive response, he was truly pinning him hard.

"Do you think this is a game!?" The potion master snapped.

"I don't,"

"You experience his thoughts and feelings, you say trained by who...Lupin?" Snape hissed, still pinned to the door.

"Perhaps," Harry smiled before letting go of the professor.

Snape didn't need any more drama and punched Potter on his stomach causing him to gasp in surprise.

"That's for attacking me," Snape expressed. "Also ten points from Gryffindor for assaulting a professor," his smirk grew tightly.

"I think I deserve both that reflex, sorry," Harry chuckled, after he recovered from the punch.

'Part of me though, wanted to do this since ever I guess,' Harry added

Snape looked at him as if he grew another head.

"As I said I'm trained, but…" Harry's emerald became distant and cold "I would appreciate it if you don't tell the headmaster,"

"I can't lie to the headmaster for your own good, Potter,"

"It's not a lie if part of it is true, I need to learn occlumency and I learned,"

"Lupin is not good teacher,"

"And you are!" Harry scuffed.

Snape reminded him to behave however it didn't sway the anger from Harry, he was tired of the whole conflict between the marauders and Snape.

Snape shared the same thoughts in a way, he massaged his temple and sat down, Lily's child was truly a troublesome prat.

"Harry," He said, tiredly.

Harry almost recoiled in surprise but his expression soon changed to worry, was it just him or did he called him by his first name.

The sound of Harry's name coming out of professor Snape sounded bizarre, and Harry nearly choked on it..

Snape was serious.

Harry sat across from him, waiting for the man to speak.

"I might not be a great teacher but I am better than Lupin,I'm a Deatheater,"

Harry's eyes widened, hearing this coming from Snape's lips, he seemed somehow sad.

"I know that," Harry's eyes dropped to the ground.

"And I know how the Deatheaters behave, Lupin is soft but they are not, nor the dark lord himself,"

Harry gulped, Snape was right.

"It's not like I don't trust you, there is things I do appreciate to stay private," He pointed out

Snape smirked at the boy, he sounded defensive and his eyes blazed with will just Lily's.

Harry couldn't believe he was having an honest conversation with the bat of the dungeons.

This was his last chance,Snape would never let him go until he entered his mind tonight.

"What side are you truly on, Sir?" Harry breathed out, he always wondered how the potion master was able to survive out of Azkaban and stay with Dumbledore and at the same time Deatheater and Voldemort himself.

Didn't he get suspicious?

"Mine," Snape answered, sincerely.

Harry looked at his hands, so he was neutral." Me too," Harry smiled "Kinda,"

Snape blinked, confused.

"A war eventually will happen, I need to be ready, the headmaster is just blocking me from my path, sir," Harry dropped his card.

Snape's brows knitted in mild confusion at the answer of Harry.

For Harry, That was enough for Snape to know for the meantime, he sighed and jumped off his chair.

"Don't we have a lesson, professor?" He gave an enthusiastic grin.

"Prepare yourself, clear your mind," Snape raised his wand and went into his mind.

The first try was unguarded and Harry had to admit that Professor Snape was excellent in Legilimency, he was able to watch some of his memories as a child, but Harry blocked him as soon as he saw his memory when Vernon hit him the very first time.

These kinds of unpleasant memories were hard to talk about, not to mention let someone see.

When Remus saw them, the first time he was so furious at the abusive muggles that he had stormed out in a fit rage. Harry had to calm him down and made him promise not to mention it to anyone, not even Sirius.

Remus was sad and wanted to do something but Harry instead told him that teaching him was enough.

Remus was good at his lessons but somehow Snape was much stronger, he was able to break his walls for almost thirty seconds before Harry was able to gain control again.

Hermione's coughing snapped Harry out of his memory of last night and turned to see her choking slightly, on her eggs and he gave her a drink.

While she took it in haste to clear the path on her throat, he and Ron patted her back unconsciously as she seemed shocked, staring at the newspaper.

He took it from her, wandering before he let himself gasp.

"What the fuck!"

The Ministry has come up with some holes in the famous mass murderer Sirius Black's case that could prove his innocence and him being the victim of some dark conspiracy! The new evidence that has been discovered in his case caused the Aurors to reopen his case to investigation all over again.

The article took half of the Daily Prophet. Harry looked at the other students at the four tables.

They had all been enjoying a nice Tuesday breakfast. Now, a lot of them looked just as shocked as he was.

"What did they find, it's not mentioned?" Ron Weasley shouted.

At the same time, Dumbledore rose from his seat at the high-table and left in a hurry.

Harry decided to read the article again, unable to believe what he was reading.

Sirius truly was a victim of some stupid conspiracy, he haven't his godfather about the second will as he didn't want to cause a scene while the Weasleys were grieving, nor he wanted to announce his marriage yet.

Besides, the will was destroyed as soon as he heard it.

And the other one that prove his innocence disappeared,

Harry runs his hand through his hair feeling an impending headache.

Sirius's case was harder than the public would understand.

'What should I do? I can't react now, can I? Should I call for Mr knightwalker?'

Daphne would kill him for that,he glanced at her table, she seemed to read the same article, her expression as usual emotionless, he was about to scoff but he stopped once he saw her lips smile at the article, she was unaware of her reaction.

'Was that a smirk? Why was she smirking? It can't be!?' Harry shook his head in disbelief.

He clutched his scar, seized with pain.

He was angry, he could feel that.

Harry ran out of the great hall back to the tower, he needed answers.

"Harry!" Both Hermione and Ron called him but he barely heard.

He searched like a madman through his stuff.

"Aha!" Harry grasped a badly wrapped package lying in a corner of his trunk.

Harry sank down onto his bed and closed the door with his wand, he unwrapped the package and gazed at the old dirty square mirror.

His own reflection looking back at him.

He turned the mirror over.

'This is a two-way mirror, I've got the other one of the pair. If you need to speak to me, just say my name into it; you'll appear in my mirror and I'll be able to talk in yours.' Sirius told him.

Harry glanced with worry, what if he failed, there was no harm in trying.

"Sirius…" Harry called, quietly.

Sirius soon appeared in the mirror "Pup!"

Harry let out a sigh of relief by seeing and hearing his godfather.

"Is it true? The article?" He asked. "What happened?" When the man didn't respond, or even look him in the eyes, he prompted, "…Padfoot?"

"Well, see that right there is part of the problem," Sirius said, running his fingers through his hair so that it stood up on end. Strange, that wasn't one of Sirius's tics.

Harry looked strangely at him,and Sirius sighed twice.

"For starters, I don't know,we will have a meeting in five minutes. Things are crazy here pup, no one knows what's going on? It could be a trap, don't believe it is,"

Harry looked behind him, making sure no one was there before continuing.

"Sirius," He said slowly. "Perhaps this means that they know about …." He didn't finish the sentence but waited anxiously for Sirius's confirmation.

"…Us." Sirius finished gently.

"All of us..." Harry insisted.

"What do you mean?" Sirius blinked

Harry looked down, and started thinking of all the previous events.

The ball, Voldemort's moves against Daphne, the sudden visit of the Knights and now the article about Sirius.

Why did this all seem connected to Harry?

He brushed his hair, messily.

'Think, Harry, think!' He slapped himself, mentally.

The image of Daphne's smirk this morning popped in his mind.

"Sirius, we won't talk for a while okay, no letter or floo calls or mirror, nothing at all," He demanded. "If this is true, and give us way to prove your innocence, my family's lawyers will take care over your case, just don't mention anything to anyone, alright!" Sirius's confusion changed to a knowing smile and he nodded..

They bid each other goodbye and Harry's smile was gone now that the conversation was over.

Sirius found himself walking into the kitchen of number twelve Grimmauld Place, the usual crowd stood or sat around the wooden kitchen table.

There was a heavy cauldron over the fire boiling vegetables, giving off a delicious smell. Molly already started cooking.

Everyone looked strangely at Sirius as if he had grown another head.

When he sat down next to Remus,he would lie if he said he wasn't comfortable at that moment.

Kingsley Shacklebolt stood against the door acting as a bodyguard. Snape sat on one side of the table, quite arrogantly,

They waited for Dumbledore to start the meeting.

When he gave the signal. Remus read the headline from a fresh copy of the Daily Prophet, his voice loud and clear to fill the room..

"This must be a trap!" Molly whispered, her voice heavy with concern.

Bill gave Molly a quick nod, acknowledging her concern. "Why suddenly, the ministry raises this issue?" Bill asked.

"The minister did not say anything yet, not forgetting that he was the judge who handed down the verdict on Sirius at the time." Remus replied.

"Do you know who is behind this?" Tonks piped up, her lower lip quivering.

Sirius chuckled , "My dearest cousin, he's behind everything! Come on, it would be a perfect excuse to drag me into the light, it doesn't even need to be said. Clearly, it's obvious that they would use me as bait to get to Harry. We need to find out the truth, Kingsley, we have to find who is the mastermind behind all of this so we can uncover the truth and solve this whole mess,"

"I must say that,it wouldn't be the best idea to clear your name," Snape sighed, as if this was the least of all the cares in his world.

Sirius sent a dead glare at Snape's direction.

They all started expressing their opinion on the matter, and each talked about what they would do and what will happen.

Dumbledore looked around at a few other members' faces while gathering his thoughts on where to begin .

"Well, gentlemens, if Voldemort is behind this I'm sure Severus would know." Dumbledore said, from his seat as the group thought it over during the few minutes of silence.

"Listen well, this is sensitive information," He eyed the members of the order.

Everyone had grown quite silent

"Previously, the goal was clear about why Voldemort wanted to eliminate the Longbottoms and the Potters…"

The air in the room seemed to thicken at the headmaster's words.,

Sirius stayed put, staring at his folded hands as if he held something.

"He is holding on to power. Previously he had the strength to take what he wanted, but his followers left him when he weakened,"

Snape looked at the professor without flinching.

"And he has another matter. He got stuck on us and his mind got hooked by Harry…" Dumbledore said,in a deep tone.

"Is this a slow revenge? Maybe…" Dumbledore paused for a moment "If this is a trap, be careful…But if It was indeed, then perhaps we can find a loophole in your case Sirius, you will be the focus of attention, you will be forced to appear, and we will take all necessary precautions to avoid any damages," Dumbledore said, standing from his seat as the group thought it over during the few minutes of silence.

The silence was broken when Snape stood as well and turned around practically in leave. And said, "If this is all,I have a class to teach,"

Sirius really wanted to hurl some insults at Snape but he promised Harry to behave.

Snape however wanted nothing but to be left out of the drama, but his happiness didn't last because the dark lord summoned him at that moment.

Meanwhile in Syria.

Berz and Eva were walking in the Al-Hamidiyeh Souq of Damascus and looked around the huge place.

Eva decided to join in her free time, shopping while Berz was busy searching for his target and guarding the book as they walked through the crowd.

Al-Hamidiyeh Souq was one of the most famous Damascus markets in Syria, and the most important and famous market in the East. Eva was amazed by its beauty and elegance, and whenever they walked inside it, they find it was quite spacious. The place was completely covered with an iron roof full of small holes through which the sun penetrates during the day and is paved with stone - black basalt - It was a meeting place for visitors and tourists from all parts of the world.

Eva's eyes sparkled at the beautiful things that could be found here.

She had to change her eye colour to brown, because the market was a Muggle one and if they saw some woman with red eyes, they would think some demon was possessing her.

"Commander, what do you think of this engraved box, isn't it beautiful? And look at this mirror?" she exclaimed.

"These Arabic furniture are beautiful…" He said, simply.

"Okay!" She clapped her hands, happily and turned to the seller to buy them.

"I'm hanging up," Said a man into his phone.

"If they give any type of reaction, we'll run for it. Leave as soon as I ring the phone. Got it?" The other one relayed.

"Yeah, got it." The man responded on the other end, hanging up and putting down his phone.

Berz entered the lantern store and greeted his owner in Syrian Arabic accent "Yatik afia," (Greeting and my respect to you,)

The seller replied, "Allah yafik, Cho badek akhi?" (God bless you, what do you want, brother?)

Berz turned to look at the lanterns, which were in every shape and color.

"I'd like a red lantern, please?" He requested in their language.

The seller's face became serious, then he smiled, "There are many red lanterns, you choose," the seller pointed in front of him to the red lanterns

Berz looked at it and then chose one.

The seller smiled and approached the commander to whisper.

"St. Marys' Church, two in the morning,"

Berz nodded and took out his wallet to buy a lantern. "How much?"

When he returned to Eva,her hands were full of bags.

"Did you buy the whole market?" he chuckled.

She nodded, her face glowing like a child on Christmas morning waiting to open her present.

"I bought some for you as well, it's not like everything is for me," she playfully hit him with her elbow.

She noticed the bag in his hand and asked him about it, they kept talking as they retreated to their hotel.

'They are moving.' The first man noticed, ready to follow them, yet his partner stopped him.

"Zaiberg! We are told that we cannot defeat them, our mission is only to watch." The other man said.

"Let's start before they see us, Villefort," The man named Zaiberg replied.

'This is good. They have yet notice us yet, but if they find us, we will be killed on the spot.'

Daphne had a rather normal morning, first the death glares she received from her dorm mates, and Draco avoiding her. Something happened and she didn't know about it, strange but not new. She ate what her stomach could handle and left for her lessons.

"Am I the only one? Or professor Snape is hot! Like way too hot!" Tracey said.

'your friend has it in her, I like her even more,' the voice said in her mind, Daphne ignored it.

"Oh Merlin, you gotta be kidding me, now you're having a thing for teachers!" Daphne groaned, disgusted.

"Come on, all of us have at least imagined what Snape could do with his hands besides Potions,"

'That would be an interesting view,' The voice said, Daphne couldn't hold her laugh at the girl or the voice.

"You're still new at sex, so you don't understand," Tracey looked at her, wrinkling her nose.

"Girl, with all due respect to you, I may be new but I'm satisfied, you however...your vagina needs a break,"

"Do I?" Tracey had a silly grin on her face

"Since you're now experienced, if you get to have sex right now with your boyfriend would you do it or not?"

"Don't be silly, I'm not addicted to it like you," Daphne humphed, her cheeks pinking.

'Please ,you flush with every second his eyes met yours, or his voice–'

'Fuck off!' she cut the beast's comments, the problem was it wasn't a Legilimens, because the voice was part of her and she was stuck with it.

"You're just saying that," Tracey smirked.

"If you rate him from one to ten how much can he earn?"

"Professor Snape?" Daphne asked.

"No, your man,"

"Oh," Daphne remembered the three times they had sex, and her face flushed.

"I would give him six or seven,"

"Six or seven! Seriously?"

"Well, he is very gentle in a very tough way I guess, I mean, it was my first so I was a bit... you know,"

"What are your favourite positions?"

"Well, my favourite one is…." Daphne stopped and looked at the wicked smirk of Tracey. Her smirk got wider.

"You need help, you know." Daphne said, deadpanned.

She almost reached the class when someone pushed her into a secret corridor. It was completely dark and she quickly reached her attacker and grasped it by the collar, pushing the person against the wall, her wand which was lying in her bag was not an option at the mere moment.

But she knew who it was before she could say a word. He switched with her and pushed the Slytherin against the wall with both his hands grabbing her shoulders.

"Was it you?" He hissed.

"Good morning to you too, honey," She gave him a tight smile.

Harry looked at her, his eyes blazing with annoyance.

Okay, that was not the expression she expected from him.

Daphne slapped him with her left hand, really hard.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to snatch me like this," She hissed and went for another slap but Harry stopped her hand before touching his cheek.

Daphne was able to notice the shift in Harry's mood. Why was he angry, wasn't he supposed to be happy or something?

"Try this again and I will let you jog 30 times around the quidditch field," She threatened.

"For fuck's sake Daphne, was it you?" He gritted his teeth.

"Me what? I don't know what you are talking about?" she asked coolly.

"The article!" He snapped, almost yelling.

"You must have gotten it from your godfather." Daphne commented out of the blue.

"I got what from him?" Harry clarified.

"Your carefree attitude. Or should I say slacking tendencies." His wife stated with finality. The boy was silent for a moment. It was true he liked to take it easy. But he knows when things matter. Well at least that was what he believed in. Was he really that unreliable?

His thoughts turned gloomy and perhaps she may have gone too far with the comment.

"What if someone has seen you?" She said after she raised around them a barrier so they could speak freely.

"You haven't answered my questions, yet."

"I just reminded someone to fulfill his promises, nothing more…"

"Thank Merlin," he breathed out, nowhe could feel himself relax, he was afraid that Voldemort may have something to do with it "Brilliant…" he chuckled.

She, raised a brow at him ' wasn't he angry seconds ago, that boy has some mental issues,' she thought,

'looks who's talking, the madwoman herself…' her beast scuffed.

He was pacing back and forth in front of her and Daphne rolled her eyes.

Harry was relieved but was still worried.

Whatever they put to open Sirius's case, It would need calculations.

And he was not particularly gifted at math.

His wife just blessed him with the best cover story without realising that.

He jumped at her, holding her face with both hands, his emeralds's eyes blazing with excitement.

"You're brilliant...you truly are!" He smiled, breathlessly. His lips crushed on top of hers.

"H-Harry," She groaned into his mouth.

"I'm amazed by your influence," He said against her lips.

"Harry, it's not like I set him free...I just pushed where I could...The rest depends on you, that's my limit." She pointed in her monotone voice, playing with his tie.

Trying to distract the excitement of her body.

"Very well,"

"I don't have time for this…" She tried to push him away, but he captured her wrists and pinned them over her head with one arm.

Harry pushed her against the wall and followed with a feverish kiss but before she could respond, he already moved away from her.

"That was a payback for your slap," He simply said and left.

"What?! The hell! Was? THAT?!" She snapped, her cheeks were red.

She tries to calm the excitement of hers.

But something was off, what was it?

"Shit! The class!"

Harry managed to send a letter to his lawyer before lunch with Dobby, sending a request for him take over the case and that he would pay the full expenses it would require.

Dumbledore wasn't around the school when he looked at the map.

The anger he felt within him, even the slap of Daphne didn't cool him down.

But he didn't let that affect him.

'Never show your true feelings,' He kept reminding himself.

Snape said that he and Voldemort share the same feelings, so Harry guessed that the anger perhaps wasn't his own, but came from the dark lord himself.

Which means this wasn't good for the other side.

Daphne had finished her essays as fast as possible, perhaps faster than usual. She usually would work slowly just so she could pass time and even do Harry's.

She always looked for something to amuse her and today she had nothing to do.

She helps Madam Pince only in the beginning of the week.

And she would usually ask professor Snape to clean his jars.

And gets some challenging quizzes from him.

However, she was bored, so she decided to wander around the castle instead while her friends were still working on their essays.

She was in a good mood, despite her lack of sleep, after playing the violin she felt fine. If that was the word, she was not happy and she was not sad.

She was fine. That's what she kept telling herself until she believed it.

She hadn't interacted with Harry since that breathtaking kiss in a secret corridor, Harry could have taken her at that moment and she wouldn't mind.

The first night of cleaning herself was half success. But she was not about to give up so easily, her beast kept bothering her thoughts for some time and she ignored her...the weather was nicer today but what delighted her heart was the serenity that took over the whole land.

This month was holier than usual for some unknown reason.

Perhaps she could use the next day for meditation and free her spirit from the cage of mortality for some time…

She needed to clear her mind after the recent events.

The sudden appearance of Dumbledore last night surprised her, she never had any kind of conversation with him before…

Something in her told her that she should be careful around him these days.

"Forgive me,I hadn't noticed your presence here, headmaster," she bowed, apologizing.

"I never thought of you to be a violinist! Are you in our orchestra? Miss Greengrass," professor Dumbledore asked.

Daphne looked down at the instrument and shook her head "I'm not, just practicing,"

"I'm sorry that I disturbed you,"

"But not at all,"

Dumbledore walked to the edge of the balcony, standing close to her,his hands resting on the railing.

"This melody, I have heard before," He glanced at the sky, trying to remember.

Daphne's eyes flattered, a sensation of weariness hit her.

"It's an ancient one..." She mentioned, following his gaze.

"I can tell," He hummed, caressing his long white beard.

"May I ask for it's name?"

His questions took her by surprise, why would he want to talk with her? She should leave,

"It's called one thousand nights and night." Why was I talking back? She slapped herself mentally.

"Ah Shehrazad and Shah zaman," He sighed, feeling nostalgia.

'This is your chance,' Daphne nodded.

"Forgive me for passing the curfew. I should take my leave," she bowed her head.

She turned up in a hurry to leave but what he said next, stopped her.

"Your playing seems sad," He said without moving his gaze from the starry night.

"It isn't... it's just to worship a memory...the owner loved this song and used to play it a lot." She said, bitterly.

"Are you sad about that?"

"Perhaps…"

"I see…"

"Forgive me, I should go back. Good night,"

The girl ran as fast as her feet were able to carry her back to the dungeons.

She was terrified, when he showed up without unexpectedly, not to mention the way the discussion went. As if he was trying to scare her to say something.

Daphne was walking into the forest to her usual oak tree,

'Someone's has been following us!'

'Yeah and for a while too,' she answered. Someone was following her, or approaching her,she tried to read their magic but couldn't.

She gulped, whatever it was,it was targeting her.

'Kill them,'

The Slytherin allowed them to follow her into the depths of the forbidden forest.

Let them catch up with her and then she would take action.

The person was closer and she barely changed her movements, instead she slowly pulled out a hidden knife that was hidden under her sleeves.

She needed to be protected from now on, especially now that Voldemort wanted her as a bride.

Three more steps and she would finish the person.

"Found you,"

His voice was low and seductive in her ear and a shiver ran down her spine.

A sigh of relief came out of her lips as she caught sight of her follower.

She kept her gaze on the tree in front of her.

"That's not the way to approach a lady," She said, her voice emotionless, returning the knife back to its place. Even as her heart pounded in her chest,

"I would only look like a stalker by such a reply, you're offending me, love," His voice was dark as he spoke, his arms finding their ways around her, trapping her between him and the tree.

She wanted to scuff, she was planning to trap him and she ended up being trapped instead.

Every word he spoke sent warm breaths across her ear.

"Darn, and I thought I was being nice," She responded in a monotone voice.

She wanted to look emotionless, she did not expect him to reach for her that fast.

He tucked his nose behind her ear into her silky tresses. God how her scent affects him.

She was able to turn him on by a simple words.

He would be damned if he doesn't like her ice side.

"Not nice enough," He said voice turning hard.

"I could be worst,"

"My laurel tree is a bad liar," He whispered, his nose moving to the juncture of her neck.

She trembled, he could evoque a reaction from her by simple touch.

Why does he always succeed in breaking her walls?

"Harry..." She moaned.

He was pleased that he got such a reaction from her, she was usually calm and controlled.

"My alter," He purred before closing his mouth around, his teeth giving her neck a teasing bite. Pushing his body flush against hers, sucking the spot, one hand comes down to grip her waist and pull her hips Into the cradle of his.

"Was I harsh with you this morning?" He said, his voice rough with desire as he continued his assaults on her neck, he wanted to have her since they arrived at Hogwarts.

She nodded instantly with hitched breath, with that he swiped her around to look at him properly.

"Would you forgive me..." he chuckled. And like that, her thighs clenched together, like aphrodisiac as the heat started to pour down her stomach

"No..." She muttered, her cheeks were red as the red drops of blood that touched the pure snow.

Harry's eyes dropped on her lips, his chest vibrating from happiness.

"Really?"

"Don't you have some jogging to do?"

Harry shook his head, smirking at her "My wife teached me a very nasty trick," He finished, smirking.

She humphed and he chuckled slightly, Daphne did not expect him to be that happy, What changed his mood suddenly? She could feel his own excitement as he pressed against her stomach and she bit her lip, holding back herself, rubbing her thighs together, her heat kept increasing, unable to stop the fluttering in her belly.

Harry saw the fire in her eyes, she was forcing herself to behave but he knew better.

His hands moved up to cup her face, jerking it up to level with his face before pulling her down in a searing kiss.

The soft petals of her mouth moved against his in a dance of passion.

Wherever he dropped a kiss there on that specific spot, it made her squirm as she was quite sensitive there.

He bit her bottom lip and she opened her mouth with a groan and he dove inside her mouth quickly, his tongue swirling and dancing with hers in a battle of dominance that he won.

Her sweet taste was driving him wild with desire and his hands came down to grip her hips, driving them into his own ,before he pushed her with his body against the tree.

She ran her hands and curled them into fists in the front of his shirt, their mouths never parting.

She did not realize how much she missed this.

His right hand left her hips and trailed down her thigh to the hem of her skirt. His fingers brought the hem of the skirt up as they now moved upwards, fingers staying on the outside of her thigh until his fingers ran into the elastic of her underwear.

Pulling away to breathe, Harry looked into her eyes, and felt pleased to see them hooded and dark with pleasure.

"I need you right now," Harry whispered, his voice hoarse with need.

"Here!? I don't," She breathed back, but she didn't release his shirt or push him away.

"Liar," He muttered before dropping down and claiming her lips in another heated kiss.

"Harry…" She moaned, as his lips crushed hers in a hot feverish long kiss. His touch became powerful, too powerful and addictive, that would torment her if she didn't have her share from it.

Her fingers sought blindly for the bottom of his shirt and found it. She pushed his robe off with one hand and started lifting his shirt with the other.

He helped her, his hands alternately cupping her face and opened his shirt, his lips still pressing against hers.

The cool air of the forest raised goosebumps as it brushed past his now half naked chest and it didn't even bother him.

Harry wanted this badly, the air around them seemed to turn hotter instead of colder.

Daphne's nimble fingers ran down the smooth contours of his chest before grasping the top of his pants, quickly undoing the buckle and sliding down the zipper of his trouser.

His own hand came up and grasped the elastic of her knickers before roughly pulling it down, forcing her to lift up her legs so he could slide it down to pool at her feet.

Her heart was beating so fast after feeling the cold waves of air on her exposed skin, her hands quickly rose and pulled his trousers down as far as she could.

He was hard, waiting for her. Harry despite his pink cheeks didn't let his confidence slip away from him.

His hands wandered down her body, fingers swift. One hand stopped at her breast, cupping the soft flesh, giving it a gentle squeeze.

She moaned in response and Harry tore his mouth away from hers, trailing down the column of her neck down to her collar bone.

His other hand was holding his wand. With a wave, he opened her shirt widely to reveal her inner undergarment.

He lifted up her bra and pressed his lips down the valley of her breasts before turning and taking a pert nipple into his mouth.

Adrenaline pumped through her as she gripped his hair. His lips were all over her. She would be lost in his kiss and then suddenly she would be melting with every heated press of his lips on her neck, her shoulders, her chest…

Her hands loved to play and tangle in his messy hair that she would never stop loving, keeping his mouth locked on her breast as her back arched into his warm mouth.

His other hand continued down her body, fingers ghosting over her stomach and down on her legs.

His fingers trailed outside of her leg to her thigh before dipping between her legs.

At the first brush of his long fingers against her folds, she cried out, making his own groin flush with heat at the sound.

He touched her in the way he knew pleased her, his mouth alternating between suckling and gently biting at her breasts.

Slipping a finger inside, he felt his erection throb as she clenched his finger tightly.

"Ahh," She breathed, hips undulating as he slowly pumped his finger.

He pulled away from her breasts, allowing the cold air to harden them further and pressing his lips against hers again.

He slowly pushed another finger into her, stretching her in the most amazing way. His thumb came up to press against the bundle of nerves hidden between her folds and the sensation brought her over the edge. She came with a shudder, his name a breathy moan as her hips clenched around his hand.

Pulling his fingers out, he brought them up to his mouth to lick clean.

Who would have thought that Harry would be addicted to the liquid that his wife presented for him only.

He kissed her wanting to feel the taste of her own reaction and stood, he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her, her slim legs automatically coming up to wrap around his waist, bringing her heated core to rest directly on top of the large bulge inside his boxers.

She groaned at the contact, her breath leaving her in a short hiss without breaking their kiss.

He finally pulled away from her mouth. "Ready?" He whispered harshly, out of breath.

She nodded, dazed.

Harry pulled his boxers down and his throbbing erection rested against her entrance, hot and heavy. Planting a quick kiss on her mouth, he grabbed himself and brought the tip of his weeping head against her entrance, torturing them both as he rubbed his head against her hot folds. He didn't enter, even after she tried to impale herself.

He didn't want to ruin the mood but he wanted to know, after last night and for his upcoming plans to work, he need answers.

"Would you always want me?" Harry whispered, allowing the head of his erection to shallowly sink into her.

Her breath hitched in her throat, his words and actions causing her core to clench tightly. The feeling of her walls tightening around his head almost made him lose control but he was damned if he was going to lose to his witch now.

"Always!" She breathed, wrapping her arms around his neck to bring his lips up for a kiss.

Once she uttered those words, Harry drove his hips forward and buried himself deep inside her. Pinning her harder against the tree.

He groaned and she let loose a low scream, feeling her magic pouring into his, the ropes of power wrapped itself around him and her nails sank into the soft flesh of his back.

But he didn't care. He pulled out and thrust back inside slowly, waiting for her to adjust to his size before starting to move rhythmically.

They both were still new.

Harry tried to keep his pace steady but he couldn't. He could feel his release approaching quickly and he cursed. But he couldn't, so he pulled away from her, still buried inside and grabbed one creamy thigh, changing the angle so he was buried deep enough to brush against her cervix.

"Oh.. Harry. H-arry I'm close," She cried, hands gripping his back tightly.

He pushed into her harder, the wet sound of flesh hitting flesh echoed against the tree, his harsh breathing and her shy soft cries of pleasure the only other sounds.

Suddenly, his witch arched her back, his name erupting from her lips in a heavenly sigh as she came, her walls tightening harshly on his dick, forcing him to thrust one last time before he too followed her into the oblivion of pleasure, her real name a harsh rasp as it escaped his lips.

He fell down on top of her, still buried inside her warm heat. As they leaned against the tree, His heart was racing and he could feel hers too, beating like a fast drum. Both were inhaling deeply.

One of her arms came to wrap around his shoulder while her free hand came to tangle in his inky black hair.

"I'm sorry," He whispered after a few moments. Her body tensed below his, her core unintentionally clenching around his half-erect member. He moaned, before pulling out of her, causing them both to shudder in pleasure.

"Why are you sorry?" Daphne said, all traces of sleepy pleasure gone.

"You know why," He said, feeling his heart clench.

"I made my choice," Daphne's tone was harsh as she spoke but her words hurt him more then physical blows.

"I promised to trust you, I promised to protect you and gave you my name,i said I will side with whatever you decide,I was supposed to help you protect your legacy but instead I let you give that away and here you helped my own godfather in return while you had to break your promise to Eros..." Harry's voice trailed off, but his arms wrapped around her and pulled her against him.

Daphne felt the prickle of tears gathering behind her eyes. "Have you wondered why?" She asked quietly, gentle and vulnerable.

His arms tightened around her to the brink of pain, but she didn't say a word. She waited, holding her breath for him to speak.

"For the greater good," He whispered.

The tears she'd desperately been holding back finally fell from her eyes. She felt her chest tighten and her breath escape her. Her own arms came around him, pulling him as close to her as possible.

"Foolish boy... For you," She said, voice breaking with emotion.

Harry looked up at her with surprise and she only smiled in return, waiting for him to adjust to her words, laughing softly.

He was cute at that moment in her eyes.

She did it again, she came to him, seeked him, that's why he needed to focus on his path.

Harry moved up and cupped her face between his hands, his thumbs circling her cheeks. Daphne closed her eyes and leaned into the palm of his hand..

The Gryffindor moved forward and kissed her forehead, a deep kiss of gratitude and appreciation.

Cherishing her with what he knew to be better for her and... him.

"My sun of the suns, my moon and star…

To you I rise in the morning and to you I rest at night, my sunset and sunrise…

My laughing laurel tree, the prayers of this humble worshipper may have been answered…" As Harry recited his poetic words, his fingers tangled with hers while she snuggled against him and listened tenderly.

Harry lifted her right arm in the air, staring at the inked Leo zodiac that was marked on her skin before pulling it to his lips and gave it a chaste kiss.

Daphne eye's hooded at his action, her lips curved into a warm smile "Liked it?"

"Loved it."

Hermione used all her time to search within all spiritual books of the Library, Harry didn't say anything more than "Hermione find me the most spiritual and holistic place,"

At first she refused but he was serious about it, he even told her not to mention it to anyone, not even Ron.

Also it was a good distraction for what she had read this morning. Sirius Black,

He could be free at last.

Also the winter break was tense between them, ever since Christmas night.

He tried a few times to talk to her but she always found a way to avoid him.

Not because she didn't want him around her, but because she felt guilty for giving herself or him false hope.

He was a rather handsome and attractive man but he could also be quite troublesome and sometimes be irritating as well.

And there was the age gap between them. But he was young now, in his twenties.

Perhaps it was a mistake of one night of heat that turned them like this.

Yep,it was absolutely the hormones at work.

'No, not the hormones, it was your stupid heart, you always had a thing for older guys,' Hermione thought. 'Just shut up and let me focus!' She snapped at her thoughts.

They were lying entangled on the ground, she knew she should be disgusted by the leaves that were around them and the smudges of dirt on her body but she couldn't find herself to care, not while his arms were still around her.

Her head was resting on his naked chest while his fingers were trailing strands of her hair between them.

While she was studying his invisibility cloak, it seemed to possess unique abilities as it able to hide Harry's magic from her, not just concealing his magic but also but also his smell, if it wasn't for the feet's echoing through the dirt, she wouldn't realize that she was being followed.

Daphne felt his chest vibrate when a satisfied growl escaped his lips.

She could feel his hands releasing her hair and tracing patterns on her back.

"What's so funny?" She asked, her hands dropped the cloth and tangled with his fingers.

"I just remembered our first make out," He answered. 'our first make out?' she wondered, confused.

When did they?...oooh!

Her eyes widened and couldn't hold her giggle, he meant when she literally jumped on him back in Hogsmeade.

She stopped him back then, even though she was the one who started it, because they had to return to school.

Speaking of school, he needed to get back, while no one cared where she disappeared at the time.

However, it was another story. If he would be away much longer, his friends would worry and they would certainly send a search party.

"What are you doing?" She murmured against his skin not wanting to show how his touch affected her but juding from his gaze, he was already aware of the effect he had on her. Her behavior had already proven that during their time together.

"I'm memorizing your body," He told her while he stroked one finger over her spine. She automatically arched into his touch and had to reprimand herself for losing herself so easily.

It was like he read her mind because when she pushed herself closer to him, he pulled back just a bit. He brought a finger underneath her chin to raise her gaze toward his own, cupped her face between his hands and looked into her eyes.

"Your friends will be worried about you soon," She told him and she smiled at him.

"I don't care," He kissed her neck, leaving a trail of small kisses before he went for her lips. He loved the taste of her.

"And you still have jogging to do," She said.

"Yeah, yeah…" He nipped her bottom lip and she pulled back, only a little but enough for him to know what she meant. They had to leave.

He didn't want to leave, especially now that he finally had her, and leaving now would be the hardest thing he had ever done but he couldn't stay. Not because of Hermione and his research or the case of Sirius or any of that, he didn't care about it the way he cared about her. But he had enemies, people that could hurt her, would hurt her if they knew she was his weakness. And she was… his biggest strength.

'She needs protection from Voldemort.'

That voice again, he growled at it.

"It's time for dinner, right?" Harry stared at his watch "In about fourteen minutes, I'm famished!" He announced.

Wait, does that mean? They have been doing it for two hours!?

Daphne panicked and stood up while Harry was still sitting without any care for being late.

She looked around for her knickers while fixing her clothes. "Won't you ask me about my Occlumency lessons?" Harry followed lazy, behind her and pulled up his trousers.

"Why should I? You know better than me," She answered, logically.

"Of course," When a cotton blue fabric, catched his eyes, a very funny idea popped up in his mind and decided to have fun a little longer.

"Hey! Have you seen my–" Daphne Turned to him,to find him holding the object of her focus.

She demanded to have it but she received a rejection.

"Harry Potter, give me that," She smirked, bitterly.

"No," Harry mimicked her stance, sending her a challenging stare.

After a long staring contest, she dropped her eyes and sighed.

"Fine," She waved him off and walked away.

She didn't care if he didn't want to give it to her, nor walked with no knickers, she was tired of arguing. Her body was sore and her back was aching, she was new to this activity.

Harry stared, wide eyes and gaped at her.

Was she going without them for real!?

"And fix your tie, for Morgana's sake!" she snapped. And casted a glamour around her, hiding every single mark he could have left on her.

She was in time for the dinner and she was absolutely starving, and like usual the fucking old hag Umbridge were observing and making everyone uncomfortable, she just loved to annoy the staff and students.

She was truly annoyed, or else she wouldn't take points from even the head girl and boy.

"Doesn't she have anything else to do," She hissed under her breath.

"What?" Theo asked, dumbfounded.

"No one talked to you," The blonde girl said, coolly.

"My poor heart," He cried, clenching his poor broken heart, dramatically.

"She believes herself to be the mighty Queen," Tracey laughed, between her bites.

They all agreed. She wasn't even bearable to the Slytherins

Daphne spotted Draco who just arrived, when their eyes met, he hesitated, causing her to get irritated and give a tight smile.

He flinched at her rather scary stare. And she simply waved at him to join them.

"Why are you waving at Draco?" Tracey asked.

"Do you think I have no idea what was being said behind my back?"

Daphne entered the boys quidditch locker's earlier that morning, knowing that Draco would use his free time to play on the broom.

He has just finished bathing and walked out to find Daphne sitting with an evil smile on her face.

"Daphne what the fuck!" he gasped, catching his towel.

Daphne rolled her eyes, bored, it's not the first time she caught Draco naked.

"I think you owe me some explanation, don't you think?" she gave him a fake smile. arms crossed as she glared at Draco who stood still in front of her.

Draco paled, oh boy, he was in big trouble. He yelled before reaching his locker "fine, just turn around!"

"Of course!" She cheered, Draco's body was not something she wanted to see.

He gave her a signal that he was finished, and she turned, Draco swore that fire could be coming out of her.

"I... Me? Daphne Greengrass being ignored by anyone!? no one has yet lived to do this ... And on top of this everyone looks at me with a strange look, has something happened that I do not know about?" She snapped at him.

Draco had that guilty look on him,he pulled a hand from his pocket and shoved it through his hair.

What's wrong with boys and their hair, why do they do this every time they get in trouble?

"Well...em.. you see, Pansy thinks I broke up with her because of... you," He explained.

Daphne's eyes widened at him "Because of me !? I only helped you at the Ball, nothing more," she waved away.

She stared fiercely at him "Draco, are you throwing this at me?"

"Kind of…" He gave a weary smile.

"Nothing was missing except that! Thanks Draco!" she slapped him.

"Please, only this time, she will not bother you. I know her!" He begged her.

"She would not dare!" She hissed.

She paced a few times cursing" Although I did many horrible things, I never sabotaged relationships, if I were,I would have my dad's with his wife!" she scuffed, Slapping her thighs.

"What?"

"Nevermind," She shrugged off, feeling a headache.

"Only this time," Daphne pointed her finger, warning him. He ran to her and kissed her both cheeks "I will never forget your favor,"

"Damn you, what self-confidence you have!"

She said, trying to break away from the fierce hug.

"I will not deny or confirm my involvement," The girl said,in her monotone voice before she turned and left room.

She doesn't care about rumors and whispers, but she listens.

This time the tongues say that the ice queen caused the two lovers to split from Slytherin.

And she had seduced Draco at the new year's Ball. She was happy that her friends did not change their treatment of her because of these rumors. Rather, their attachment to her increased more, and they gained respect for her.

Tracey and Theo shared a glance.

She smiled when Draco approached and said. "Would you sit among us?"

He didn't need to hear another word and smirked.

"Why not?"

He sat beside her,and Daphne looked around where Pansy was. And leaned to Draco only so he could only hear. Suddenly she remembered that she was married, the fuck!

If Harry heard the rumours, how would she explain? Nevermind, it was not really happening, she was just helping a friend. He would understand that, would he?

She looked up toward Harry who was eating, his expression full of life.

Of course he would be happy, he just had sex and he stole her knickers from her.

She felt as if he was taking his revenge from her at last.

Knowing that she would obey, because of her remorses for what she did to him.

From these dreadful nights of training to their first fight, should she call it first?

They argue about a lot of stuff and she was the most violent one in their arguments.

She was like that, it was hard to get rid of old habits she grew up with and finally, the stress of Voldemort's appearance in her life was a contributing factor that made Daphne vent her frustration on her husband as she tries to figure out what is the dark lord's endgame.

Could someone imagine that the most feared man in the wizarding world proposed to her. She giggled at the image that popped in her head.

The mighty Dark Lord of England proposing her, if she pushed him just a little bit, would he bend on his knee for her.

That would be rather interesting.

Well, Harry was enraged over the whole Voldemort thing but he have every right to be considering that the dark lord is her husband's arch nemesis.

Speaking of that... Draco's father? Lucius was a Deatheater wasn't he? Harry told her that he was there during Voldemort's resurrection, could it be that he was using his son to spy on Harry or approach her?

She kept playing with her rather tasteless food while she calculated every single kind of theory that could be possible. Eyes darting every few minutes between Draco and Harry.

Ron Weasley was laughing with Dean Thomas and Neville longbottom ,as his sister sat next to Harry, talking to him about something, probably Quidditch related.

By the excitement in Harry's eyes, it was definitely Quidditch. He could talk about it for hours.

Granger was the only one missing from the picture.

She wondered if this has anything to do with Sirius Black.

'I wonder how they will use this to clear his name.'

She felt sore between her legs and asked herself if it would always be like this, every time they would do it.

She would definitely hate that.

But it was another precious intimate moment.

The blonde girl was taken aback by the knowledge that Harry felt guilty for her choice, but it only made her prouder.

She was a Potter and as one she needed to be at his side always and forever.

Stand with him and his family.

She doesn't need to be selfish but also provide her life to her new family and to the estate. The last one, made her laugh.

The estate was a complicated piece.

A piece that people don't realize it's importance.

Hermione Granger joined her friends late, they all know her whereabouts.

"Library," Typical Granger

She sat between Ginny and Harry and hummed happily.

Harry tilted his head and she only glanced at him with a smile.

His smile disappeared as he turned to his plate, his face no longer showing any emotions, his whole mood shifted.

Daphne raised an eyebrow, did she miss something?

"...Why don't you join us then?" Blaise asked.

"We would love to!" Tracey clapped her hands.

"Huh!?" Daphne, who spent her time thinking, didn't catch what her friends decided.

"We're going to play with the boys in their room," Tracey told her.

"Spare me, I'm tired tonight," Daphne raised her hand.

"But Daphne you're the best at this game, pleaaaaaase," Tracey fluttered her eyes.

Theo joined Tracey and were soon followed by both Blaise and Draco, using their puppy eyes.

They were seducing her by using her own game and she hated that.

"It's just a game Daphne," Blaise said.

"Ouija is not any game? Hah! You pissed on yourself, the first time," She smirked.

Blaise looked away slightly embarrassed. Draco and the rest laughed at him.

"And you, you kept crying for your dad while Theo broke a leg and finally and last…" she took a breath before turning to the evil one who suggested the idea in the first place.

"You were almost going to jump from the astronomy tower that night, I had to take detention because of it," Daphne hissed at Tracey. The latter lowered her head.

"I won't pay any debt for your fun, the answer is no and that's final," she said, standing up.

She was serious and they realized their mistake.

"How about Tarot cards," Theo said as he grasped her.

"I will pass, have fun," She waved off her hand at her fellow Slytherins.

Sirius received a letter that evening that Harry's lawyer will take over the case and speak for him. Until everything could be figured out, Sirius should stay in the shadows.

Harry met Hermione shortly after dinner in the room of requirements that night to discuss the latest developments.

"Mount Sinai!" She told him.

"Mount Sinai?" Harry inquired.

Hermione nodded.

"Isn't it the same mountain where, according to the Bible, Moses received the Ten Commandments?" Harry wondered.

Being raised with Christian muggles,he was well acquainted with religious beliefs.

"Not just that but also in Islam and Jewish religion ,they all agree that Moses spoke to God there, it could be the holiest mountain of all," Hermione expressed.

"But that could be far away in Egypt, this is too far isn't it from any other spiritual places?" Harry muttered, massaging his chin.

Hermione raised a brow at him ,why did he looked depressed and serious over some holy location far away suddenly?

"I don't understand why you are so secretive about it, why would you get interested in something like that?" Hermione said, crossing her arms.

Harry didn't want to hide his true intentions any more so he just went away with it, she would sooner or later force him to talk.

He sat on a sofa that was in the room of requirement, looking at his lap in deep thoughts.

"I thought you would be happy that I found the place," She suddenly said, joining him.

Hermione always knows what was hiding behind his walls.

"I am Hermione, it's just...I didn't expect it to happen so fast," explained Harry, to Hermione.

"What do you mean?"

"..." He averted his eyes, clenching his teeth.

"Harry James Potter, do you think I, the brightest witch of my age won't find what you are looking for, you broke my heart," she shook her head in disbelief.

"No, it's not that," He chuckled with sadness, it seems a whole summer with Sirius hit her with a dose of arrogance.

Her smile disappeared and her worries took over instead. That was so unlike him, she put her hand over his. "Harry what's going on?"

"Hermione I'm leaving," Harry dropped his Bomb at last, his eyes full of determination.

Hermione's eyes went wide "What!?" She didn't even realize that she had screamed.

"Listen,it is for the best," he turned to her, holding her hands in his own.

She shook her head, finding it hard to believe what Harry's words were actually saying. Was he dropping school?

"You're my confident, that's why I told you, I will come back but I don't know how I will be...It's rather complicated,"

"Tell me then,"

"Hermione there is a place, a gate or rather another dimension ... a spiritual place, which I need to go to.

I know the rituals necessary to open the gate, but I needed to know the strongest spiritual area first,"

"What dimension are you talking about!?"

"Don't freak out, it's like the Black hole, except it would only affect my timeline, not yours,"

"Harry! I can't let you then...if you told me... I wouldn't let you...no, you are not going,"

"I have no choice, mum said I need it,"

"Your mum?"

Harry nodded his mind drifting to that day at the gringotts,

"Harry, we are descendants of Hecate," Lily said in her will. Harry was trying to adjust to what she said, Hecate!?

The famous Hecate goddess of magic?

"We had to hide over the years because of the tyranny we endured from Lilith's children, they were after us for years and we ended up to no existence,we were driven off the realm of earth and had to hide in parallel dimension close enough, yet separate to the world of the living, where the time move differently than the normal reality, we call this dimension the void. Harry brause of them we almost vanished, when James married me and loved me even thinking I'm just a mudblood,"

Harry saw his father flinch at the M word, and smiled warmly, his father was a pureblood and defied the laws by marrying Lily.

"...He needed to know, and yet that silly father of yours did something behind my back, which I will never forgive him for it, however in the grimoire I have written something, a spell or should I say the key of a portal, so you could understand the path, Hecate's wisdom must be carried over our bloodline," Lily confessed.

Harry had a hard time believing his mother's words, does that mean he wasn't half-blood or was he?

He brushed his hair, messily, his mind could not absorb any of this.

"I heard her name is Rhaenys, I hope Diane is right about what she believes, I can't say anymore than that. You probably already know the rest of the story, good luck Harry..." with that. Lily and James disappeared.

Harry may have promised Daphne not to read the grimoire but he had to follow his mother's will too.

"I left Grimmauld because I was angry that day Hermione, everything is connected in a way, that's why I need to leave,to understand that,"

Hermione wouldn't change his mind no matter how much she wanted, he was committed to the mission.

"When is the next full moon?"

"February the fourth,"

'I see, the last full moon was three nights ago,'

"Then the next weeks,I will live as myself for the best way I can,"

Hermione had tears in her eyes, Harry just seemed so mature in that moment as he made the choice to sacrifice himself for the whole wizarding world.

"What about school, Dumbledore and Umbridge?"

"That's where your role starts,"

"You planned everything, didn't you?"

"Honestly, not everything. Sirius's case for example I hadn't expected, You will help me with the rest," He said before starting to tell her the rest of the plan.

When they finished,Harry was worried. When Hermione asked him, he shrugged it off but the truth was he was worried about Daphne's reaction. She would cut him into pieces.

That night not only Harry had plans in his pocket, almost every player had their turn.

Voldemort didn't waste a moment waiting every second like a dagger hitting his skin to hear the pleasant news of his victory against the Knights.

The secret unit was following the head commander and his lieutenant like a pack of wolves stalking their prey.

At the same time, Aurelia herself had her own plans too.

She summoned Sam, the personal guard of Phobos and also the secret spy of Voldemort to amuse her.

After sharing a moment of intimacy, Aurelia took a silky robe and wrapped it around her body, moving to the balcony.

"You seem concerned, your excellency." Sam said as he sat on the chair next to the balcony.

"I feel a lot of pressure, tell me Sam what should I do?"

"Whatever you desire," He smiled.

"Good," She said as she saddled herself in his lap.

The next day Harry played with the Quidditch team like nothing happened the day before with Sirius. Meanwhile, Dumbledore, McGonagall and even Snape were confused by his act, he didn't react or seek the headmaster for answers.

Albus himself was threatened by the changes in Harry.

But Harry's happiness didn't last when Umbridge declared that all activities had been cancelled including the quidditch.

Harry swore if Oliver was still in the team, he would kill her gladly.

The pink old hag returned to her old habits in tormenting the kids after the holiday.

Snape told Dumbledore that Potter was weak in his mind and told him that he was willing to train and learn to protect his mind and thatthere was nothing to worry about.

Snape could slap himself a hundreds times because he fell into Potter's trap at that moment. The boy owed him a favour for lying to the headmaster.

He was James's child for Salazar's sake but also…. Lily's.

In Iraq…

Berz sat with Eva in a small café next to the ashes of Babylon's hanging gardens.

"It seems the case of Sirius Black would soon begin,'' Eva said in a serious tone.

"We have nothing to do with that, they will manage by themselves," Berz told her.

"Of course. So, what do we do? I'm asking you that.'' Said Eva, stopping in her drink to see if Berz realized that too.

"'We need to go around,'' He said with no emotion .

The two left the , walking down to the ruins at a rather normal speed.

The place was well hidden and protected from muggles.

But it was not hidden from Wizards, which was why the place was a touristic location for all mages from all over the world, it had a very beautiful and spiritual weather.

Few hundred metres away, the Knights, the same two men that kept following them since the day before, kept their chase.

''Yes, by the looks of it, there is a town ahead of us. We need to be discreet and not reveal our position . So far, they didn't sense us yet, one wrong move and we are in trouble, Got it!'' Zaiberg whispered.

''Got it.'' Villefort replied, annoyed at the reminder but he maintained his walking pace.

"You look sad," Berz asked

"Ah, well, this brings back bad memories," She said in a rather sorrowful tone.

Berz looked Forward "She never meant for it to happen,"

"But he did," Eva said with agony " Rhae– I mean Daphne was destroyed mentally and physically,"

"She is still alive and we are as well," He answered "that's what matters the most,"

'No matter their disguise, their features will betray them.' Zaiberg said to himself as he watched them from afar.

"Are we being stalked?" Eva asked, when she sensed his change.

"This is what I think? I'm impressed, I don't feel anything, they must have a way to conceal their presence from us."

'They are heading towards a deserted area. Did they realize that they are being followed, is this a trap?' Zaiberg questioned.

"He did not take the bait." Berz stated 'He is clever.'

Berz and Eva made their way through the crowds of tourists that were visiting the hanging gardens until they reached a deserted side of the ruin.

"How many?" Eva asked in a monotone voice.

"Two, but not together," Berz replied.

The phone suddenly started ringing.

The black haired woman answered her phone with a click, raising it to her ear.

"Kamel here," The person on the phone answered.

"Oh, what's up?"

"I wanted to see how you were doing."

"We're being followed, but they haven't made a move. And we can't locate them, so this will take a while."

"Oh, then would you like some helpful info?"

"What do you mean?" Eva asked, before pausing again.

The two men sat tense, anticipating any reaction from the knights. Berz shot a glare at the two, causing them both to run. Both of them quickly sprung in action , ready to make their escape out of the gardens.

They both looked in front of them and stopped in their tracks. Eva stood in the exit of each way. How did she appeared in two places?

Zaiberg stood tense, bracing himself for an attack. He leapt up, darting around faster than the human eye can respond. Eva's eyes carefully and slowly followed the man's movements before raising her arm and grabbing the black haired man's arm. Zaiberg quickly responded with throwing hexes at Eva, which she easily dodged. He followed with a kick for her head.

The hexes were a distraction? The woman thought to himself.

This'll get her! The man thought to himself, as his leg was soon caught in Eva's other hand.

'She easily stopped me with... With only one hand!'

Zaiberg pulled out a small potion jar from under his sleeve and threw the liquid, right at his leg, causing her hand to burn and so his leg as well, straining himself against the blonde man's grip. She groaned as veins burns appeared all across her arm. He twisted his waist around, breaking free from Eva's grip, earning himself a whistle. Zaiberg quickly leapt back into the middle of the ruins, his ankle seared from the effects of the liquid.

He grasped his wand and threw another spell,

"Yo," said a voice from behind him, causing him to snap his head around.

"Kamel, why are you here? Weren't you heading out with the French troop?" She asked with a smug look on her face.

"To fool your enemies, you first fool your allies." Kamel responded.

"The commander got me good again. I wondered why so many magic masters were around."

Zaiberg's heartbeat spiked as the black haired man started walking in his direction. 'Stalking the stalkers? The commander and the woman didn't know? They fooled us.'

"Okay kid. I've got a few questions for you."

Villefort on the other side of the gardens saw the dark haired woman appear behind him and the blonde man ahead closing on him.

"What!?"

"Who are you?" The other copy of Eva clarified, raising her fists. "Who asked you to follow us?"

"I don't know you,"Villefort replied. "We were following you for our own reasons."

'I just need one moment…' He thought to himself. 'With an opening, so I can escape!'

Eva's attention directed from him to Berz. "Well?"

"Well, indeed... If he's lying then he's really good," He raised his hand. "I can check."

"Question, one... Why were you following us? You better give me a satisfying answer." Eva said, sharing a menacing glares at Zeiberg with Kamel.

'Lying would only make the situation worse.' Zaiberg thought. "You acted suspiciously and we are Aurors of this land. ."

"Two... Who taught you to shadow people?"

"Well, mainly, I wasn't using magic, a chakra ability to conceal my presence. I'm trying to become an Auror."

"Who taught you that?"

"A Chakra master."

"And three... Do you know this place?"

"This is the hanging gardens,"

"He would either be a Conjurer or Manipulator." Eva the second copy said.

"Does your master know you're here?" Kamel piped up as he was checking the man

"No,"

"I see... Well, there is nothing we can do." The real Eva said. "Time for the last question then. You have two choices. Consider carefully before you answer." Eva's crimson coloured eyes hardened at the absence of answers.

"Do you want a quick death or should you suffer before dying? Make your choice." Eva the second copy asked.

"You have three seconds to tell the truth." Berz said

Villefort looked between the two and almost took off, right before the woman grabbed his shoulders and kept him down in place.

"It's useless. Don't try anything foolish." Eva said.

"Yes. Understood, we'll head over." Kamel said, on his phone. "Boy, you're not Aurors and your friend surrendered."

Zaiberg blinked in disbelief. Before he knew it, he was next to his partner.

"I'll ask you one more time. Do you know us?"

"My answer is the same. I don't." The man said.

"I see. How about you?" Eva asked, throwing her arm over Villefort's shoulder. "Any guesses?"

He responded with silence.

Berz shared a look with Eva,and she nodded.

Both men gasped when nothing was in front of them.

They were dead then, she will finish them any second.

And she did...

"There are still two others out of the ruins," Kamel said.

Eva disappeared with that information, leaving the two men alone.

"Why are you here?" Berz asked.

"It's my turn to guard the ruins today, many tourists are walking around this time of year," he said "By the way it will take two days to reach down there..."

Eva didn't take more than ten seconds to locate the other two men and was already hunting them down.

Kamel bid goodbye to them as they walked past the ruins of Babylon's garden west when past the borders of the gardens, they felt their magic disappear.

They will have to walk to the Temple either on foot or using horses.

Because...The place was stripped of magic.

When the news of the secret unit's death reached Voldemort, Cyrus Greengrass expected rage from his master, but what he saw and heard instead was the laughter of a victory. He could not understand the intention of his master's until he apparated away.

Voldemort was angry when he read about any chance of Black's innocence but he could care less.

The death of the secret unit was just a signal and also a confirmation of the road to the temple. The men who fell were just a cover. A warning.

Bellatrix's head snapped as she felt a cold sensation crawling up her spine. Smirking, she stood.

Her body was slender from Azkaban. The originally light gray robe was cluttered in rips and tears, bruises scattered across her body. She walked lazily over to her cell entrance, sweeping her feet back and forth as she did. Bellatrix wrapped her hands around the bars of her cells and closed her eyes, breathing in deeply.

The rush of cold air filled her body as she opened her eyes to stare into the dark hood of a dementor. She sneered at the dementor.

As the dementor breathed in deep, Bellatrix felt her soul crawl out of her body. She felt the blood drain from her legs and her guts be pulled outwards, but still she stared.

She heard a loud gasp from her neighbour.

"What is it, Rodolphus?" Bellatrix said, to the cell next to hers.

"The Dark Lord…" He said, his voice shaking.

Bellatrix's heart flushed. "What about our Lord?"

"He is here…" Her Deatheater husband said.

Her heart flushed as she saw him in the flesh, his pale head staring at her and Nagini at his side. The dark Lord stood before Bellatrix, his battered robe flowing from his body. She pushed her face between two bars and glanced up at him, smiling, licking her dry lips.

"My Lord! I knew you would rise again," She said, reaching her hand toward Voldemort, who stepped away from it. "I've felt your call become stronger over the last few days. Had I not been here in Azkaban,"

"I am aware of your loyalties, Bellatrix," Voldemort hissed as he reached his hand out for Nagini to slide against it.

"My Lord, I beg for your forgiveness." Bellatrix pleaded as she lowered her head and stepped back from the door to bow low to him, but her hands never let go of the bars.

"You have more than enough time to earn my forgiveness, Bellatrix," Voldemort said. "I know of your bloodlust," He smirked.

Harry was embracing Daphne in a corridor "we are free…" he whispered, kissing her forehead.

"We are," She assured.

There were loud cheers from the great hall and Harry took her hand, saying that she should meet with the rest.

"You go first, I will join in seconds," Daphne let go of his hand and waved at him as he ran to join his friends for some celebration.

She took a deep breath. They are free.

A young child came to her and took her hand, she ran with him asking him where he was taking her.

He answered that there was a man waiting for her at the gates of the great hall.

She followed him and stopped in her tracks when she saw the man.

"Eros, what are you doing here? Leave before someone see you,"

"I heard that you were repentant, I came to see if it's true," He answered.

"Well…" She looked away.

The boy kept watching them.

"Come here," Eros said from the other side of the gate.

She immediately jumped to join him but something pulled her back, She felt herself stuck in her place, and her heart started squeezing hard, afraid of joining her brother on the other side of the doors.

Why was she scared?

Someone else was peeking at them from a far corner.

"I have something to tell you, come," Eros offered his hand.

"I can't, I'm sorry,"

"Rhaenys this is important,"

"Brother, you don't belong here, leave!" She said, holding her hands to her chest.

"I won't until you come and talk with me,"

Daphne hesitated a bit, hearing the laughs of Harry from the back.

She closed her eyes tightly and stepped toward Eros.

"Don't doubt my love for you brother but I love him too, he is my future, ours!" she told him and turned back " Go away,"

Daphne's brother grabbed her by the arm, pulling her toward him.

He looked her in the eyes coolly." If you only said the truth,I would gladly allowed you go back inside,"

He gave her an apologetic glance and Daphne's eyebrows knitted confused, trying to break free from him,

Suddenly, growling could be heard from outside the castle. Her breath quickened.

"Brother, let go of me!"

She looked around for the source of the growls. Then a door out of nowhere opened, and Daphne could see the hellhound. Her heart was beating a mile a minute as she fought her brother's embrace, "let go!"

The hellhound looked downright terrifying.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the hellhound make its way towards her.

She freed herself and ran toward the great hall gates calling Harry.

Harry turned to her,and saw what was happening,he ran to her but before she was just about to reach the doors, the boy from before closed the doors on her face.

Harry!

"Open the door!" Daphne desperately slapped the door to open.

The hellhound charged at Daphne out of nowhere and slashed her across the left side of her chest.

Daphne grunted in pain and backed away, and the next second she felt herself flying backwards.

Daphne abruptly shot up in a loud cry of pain.

No one would hear her scream because of the wards around her bed.

She clenched the sheets around her and cried, Agony coursed through her.

"I'm scared…" She whispered.

Harry and she finally had a shared class during the fifth period but unlucky for them it was DADA.

Harry noticed her walking slower than usual, quieter too.

He glared at the sea of faces, taking in every face before his gaze settled on her. She sat in the back of the class next to the window, her focus on her desk.

She didn't eat during breakfast and didn't talk to her friends either, not to mention she always says good morning to him.

Harry kept checking out on Daphne once in a while throughout the entire class period, using his book as a cover in order to avoid any unwanted attention.

But, Umbridge was the least of his concerns.

He noticed that his wife hadn't written any notes, nor focused on the lecture.

Tracey nodged her a few times, a curious look on her face when she noticed her friend was not paying attention.

Daphne only gave her a weary smile and tried to focus again but her thoughts kept slipping, wondering if the commander has arrived to the temple yet,

It would take him two days down the road and two more to return, stripped out of magic just as precautions the temple takes.

Sitting on the other side of the class, Harry everything. Something was off, Daphne was shaking, something was happening with his wife.

He wanted to call her, get to her.

'Talk to her, it will work,' He heard that voice again.

'How?'

'Through Legilimency idiot!'

'Daphne!' He tried to use Legilimency on her.

The temple…

Her dad's face as he was…

The people's screams…

The smell of blood…

Blood...blood...BLOOD!

'That was the most satisfying thing I ever did!' Her beast said.

She gasped silently, covering her nose as the smell hit her, causing her to feel nauseous.

Everything seemed to disappear around her.

"Daphne, are you alright?" Tracey leaned toward her.

"Blood…" She murmured under her breath.

'Say it again…'

"B..L–" her lips were trembling.

Tracey gave her a quizzed look, she nodged her friends who turned to see what was happening.

"What's wrong? Is the princess panicking?" Pansy smirked.

"Shut your mouth Pansy," Draco hissed.

Daphne felt numb, she could not move, she felt paralyzed.

"Let's tell professor Umbridge," Theo whispered.

'Daphne!' Harry's voice called in the back of her head.

He was calling her? She weakly raised her eyes to meet his,

'Harry!' The blonde answered.

He didn't notice his own relieved sigh when she heard him.

'Breath!' He managed to say.

She nodded and inhaled. At that moment she realized that her friends were gazing worried at her.

She calmed down and gave them a nod.

'I'm fine, it was just the weather,' She told him.

"Is something wrong, mate?" Ron asked.

"No, everything is fine now, I guess," He said before he heard Umbridge yell at him.

Harry didn't buy it but he let it go for the meantime.

However Umbridge was now going far in trying to provoke him. This latest decree had been the subject of a great number of jokes among the students.

She prevented any kind of outside information within school grounds including not receiving any more daily prophet copies.

She simply isolated the students.

But it seemed to Harry that Umbridge was steadily depriving him of everything that made his life at Hogwarts worth living.

"I'm pretty sure you will find the happiness you're looking for here in the school," Luna cheered as she sat with the group.

"I'm pretty sure if you searched for it, you won't find it in this school," Harry said.

Hermione looked at him as if he just insulted Luna.

"What!? I don't mean it that way Luna... what I mean is that as long as that hag remain here, we won't find it,"

Harry asked all his friends and DA members to meet with him that night to seize the fears and worries.

"You are pale…" Harry said as he reached Daphne in the library while she was searching for a book.

He took one in his hand and flipped the pages.

'ooh, lover boy is worried about you, how sweet of him,'

'SHUT IT!' Daphne mentally screamed at her beast.

"Am I?" Replied to Harry as nonchalantly as possible.

"Have you been sleeping?"

"...You are lazing around, go do some laps," His wife sharply replied instead of answering his worries..

Harry leaned against the bookshelf looking at her with crossed arms and hooded eyes.

"You're going to kill me someday with your sharp tongue...When was the last time you had a proper sleep?"

The beast giggled 'Just give him a proper answer,'

"I do sleep, that's my natural skin colour in case you forgot,"

"You are right," He chuckled, darting his eyes between the book and his surroundings.

Daphne could sense that there was something bothering him.

"Have you seen this morning's article?" Daphne asked, another shocking news was announced on the daily prophet again but this time, it was not planned nor was on their side either.

"Yeah, massive escape...this will put Padfoot in a dark corner,"

Daphne stared ahead at the book,Harry was right, this will put Sirius in a bad situation.

"I will think of something." She told him. "By the way, thanks for earlier,"

"What happened?" Harry asked.

Daphne looked down, hesitation following her guilt, unable to look at him "None of your damn business," She whispered, her voice shaking.

"Hey, I'm just concerned," He grasped the arm, the flash of her brother's grip popped on her head.

"Don't be!" She snapped, pushing him away.

But instead of just a normal push, she accidentally used magic and threw him in the air.

He crashed into a nearby desk, books fell on him.

"Oh my god!" Daphne's eyes widened, frowned and her hand covered her gasping.

"Really! What's the matter with you, idiot!" Harry snapped at her.

"So… I'm an Idiot!? I didn't know that you were talking to yourself," She snapped.

"You crazy stupid witch!" He yelled as he tried to move up, his back arched from pain. The students ran to see what was going on.

Daphne swore that she could feel a vein pop in her head, was he messing with her now? "Why don't you leave then, you're dirtying the environment with your stench," She said, looking down at him.

Harry's face turned completely red from anger, did she really say that?

"It wasn't not the fanciest face I would like to collide with either," He smirked.

"Says the dog of the school, are you stalking me pup?" Daphne smirked back, understanding his message.

"Oh, speaks the ice Queen, I heard you have no heart, now I can totally see it,"

Daphne raised her wand at him, throwing a hex. He swiftly dodged it, and the fight continued with each throwing some spell at the other.

The students tried to calm them down but even they ran fearing for their lives.

The two were completely engrossed in their fight, completely forgetting they were still in the school library in the first place.

Madam Pince hurried and stepped in to stop them before they could damage the Library any longer.

"You two, stop making a scene at once!" The librarian said."Drop your wands!"

The two shared an hesitating glance.

"NOW!"

The couple obeyed the librarian who confiscated their wands and took them to professor McGonagall.

After a long lecture from both women over their actions. As punishment, the decision was made to revoke their access to the library for a month. In case either students required a book from the library, they would need to make a request for madam Pince to lend that specific book or ask a fellow student to obtain it for them.

Also as a detention they need to clean the greenhouse for a month.

They both insulted each other under their breaths

"Wish you go to hell right now," Harry murmured.

"If the dog's wishes come true, it should have rained bones a long time ago." She rolled her eyes.

"Enough!" McGonagall snapped.

When they left the office, they could stop their chuckles.

"Merlin! I needed that," Daphne sighed, massaging her shoulders.

"You're welcome," He smirked.

"See you later in detention, Greengrass."

"You too, Potter,"

In the middle of their exchanged insults, both realized that they were venting on the other.

'Wow…'

The voice of that woman with every passing hour was getting stronger and she couldn't control it anymore.

She was losing it, she wanted to take the medicines, but she doesn't want to get back to the addiction. She could win against her.

Harry received a rather angry reprimand from Hermione for blowing up the library while Ron cheered him for standing for the ice Queen.

"Is she that scary?" Harry chuckled, deep down he knows more than that.

"Thank god that you survived Umbridge," Ron sighed.

"Not like Lee." George said above him.

Harry's smile disappeared, Lee Jordan received his share of punishments involving that evil quill.

"Shall we start guys!" Harry said as he started his DA meeting.

Daphne's horrible day didn't end there, instead it was just the beginning.

When she returned to the dorm, she found something that caused her to lose her temper.

There on her bed lay a pig's head stained with blood.

'Oh, look at this...you know what they mean by that, won't you make them pay for this disdain?' Her beast said.

"They don't deserve a response," Moving away from the bed, the Slytherin girl took a cold shower despite the freezing weather and the time spent in the cold dungeons.

'That's why they are always after you?' Her beast hummed 'You don't even have any reaction to their provocations,'

Daphne pushed her books in her bag.

'Reaction,' She repeated to herself.

"Very well," She said, catching her wand and waving at the pig.

The screams of the first-year girls did not surprise her, but she walked quietly and corridor towards the common room. Draco and the others were shocked but did not move from their place.

She put the animal's head on the table and walked away without greeting any of them.

As soon as she closed the door behind her.

Everyone started whispering between them while Pansy laughed, Astoria suddenly approached her and the former asked her in annoyance what she wanted.

"You know you'll pay for this joke, right?" Astoria said calmly.

"As if I would be afraid of her," She laughed sarcastically, as she made ready to leave the dungeon, they heard screams from behind and when they turned around they saw the pig's head which had been set ablaze flying through the air across the room.

Astoria simply rolled her eyes.

The following day was a miserable experience for the blonde princess, the Slytherin girls all sided with Pansy against her, Tracey tried to fight a few times against them but Daphne told her to let go.

Instead Daphne used Draco as her shield.

She kept him by her side to mock the hell of Pansy as payback.

The war within the dungeons never reaches the rest of the school houses' ears, they always keep them to themselves.

So Harry doesn't know what was going on with Daphne. Between his meetings with the DA and Snape's lessons, Harry was quite busy . But he was not too busy to leave her alone.

Daphne had another nightmare this morning, she could wake most of the people in the house if it wasn't for the wards. Only The medicine could drive away the screams inside her head. But she absolutely refused to give up this fight.

Harry decided to take an hour each evening only for her, choosing a deserted place within the school ground to talk with her. She was still trying to force the topic of physical training but he always managed to change the topic, by a kiss or by a poem.

They had their shared detention of course, they both enjoyed insulting each other during that session,

Harry found it hard to act as if he hate her for the sake of the school but he enjoyed teasing her.

He was trying to keep her company for any free seconds he has. Still thinking of a way to approach her about his plan.

She however was chased by the memories of the torture Chronos used to give her, the night of the sacrifice that she wanted to obliviate the memory from her mind...

Thursday, Harry took Daphne to his favourite place that offered a nice overview of the castle..

And arranged for a small picnic with her,

since they kept ducking into abandoned and isolated corners of corridors out of the way to see if snogging got even better with different venues. Not to mention, she was sad and tired all the time, he tried to force her to eat several time per day but she was too stubborn to show any weakness, still embarrassed about the way she fall sick after she burned the Greengrass Manor.

This was the perfect spot for a private conversation, Harry thought as they stopped under a lone tree on a hill overlooking the lake.

He didn't need to worry about privacy because of the barriers that his beloved blonde witch could easily create.

"What are we going to eat, flowers?" Daphne looked around bored.

"You can eat me," Harry smirked.

Daphne rolled her eyes, Harry was waiting for her to relax before he told her about his plan. "Daphne?" Harry asked in a soft voice, unsure of how to start.

The witch could see his hesitation and set out to reassure him. "Whatever it is , Go ahead and say it, you have been circling around something for days now," She cut him.

"Well…" He looked shyly, but she crossed her arms, deadly serious.

"I want to jump to the next level,"

Daphne blinked a few times, didn't they already have done that.

"No! Not that, silly...I mean magic, magic!" Harry waved his hands at her, his cheeks burning.

'Oh!' Daphne was silent for a few minutes, allowing her time to digest the new confession.

"I see…"

Harry glanced up at her, wow! She accepted it with no fight.

"Okay, What do you want to learn about warlock?"

"Well…" he massaged his unbearded chin, thinking.

Daphne smiled and stood up." Why don't I make it easy for you and start with the basics," She said.

"Now?"

"Now," The blonde Slytherin confirmed with an affirmative node.

"Magic is about balance, magic is about wisdom, balance could be destroyed by selfish wishes and also could be remedied by pure intentions, magic's first existence was because of darkness of the heart...but was purified later with the purest soul to serve nature…"

Harry stood up and watched her carefully as she started her lecture over magic.

"Name the elements?" She asked him.

"Fire, earth, water, air and spirit," He answered.

She nodded before she turned her focus to the lake, "Water represents purification and life, it's the source of life on this earth," Daphne explained as she waved her hand toward the lake which instantly cause a small stream of water to fly from the huge lake.

She dropped it and mentioned "Fire, the source of destruction and also passion." The small parchment in her hand burned.

"Air, represent intellect and the mind wisdom, logic and freedom,"

Harry felt a strong gust of wind around them.

"Earth, represents solid foundation and also stability" And with that he saw how a flower rose from under her feets.

"Spirit... however is the strongest element, because it's the source that connect the four elements between them and also the overall essential part of every living being."

He nodded.

"Magic represents the two sides..."

"Huh?"

"Good and evil, light and dark, Angels and demons, life and death and last God and devil,"

"You always wanted to know what I'm hiding behind my layers, how I manage to raise barriers and how I do wandless magic whenever I want, we let you learn wizards what we want you to learn…" She walked around him and stopped right behind him and whispered to his ear," I hear it, the magic… We don't control it, we communicate with it,"

"That's impossible," The Gryffindor scoffed.

"You hear it too, Don't you? That voice in the back of your head, telling you what to do when you are helpless."

Harry gulped, how did she know?

"You could hear it ever since our first night,"

Harry looked down.

"Is it my magic?"

"Maybe, why don't you figure it out yourself…"

"How?"

"Pure mind, pure soul, try to speak it, meditation is the key." She instructed.

Harry sat back on the ground, meditation, let's try.

'My magic is different from Harry's...I feel the light within him, while mine was created from the darkness...' she confessed.

'Why you want him to get stronger, while we could feed on his energy in return,'

'Dearest, his magic is still growing with each day, we don't know the limits yet, also I believe in him,' She told her beast.

'That's stupid,' Her beast said before disappearing.

"It's not working!" Harry grumbled at the lack of results.

She kneeled in front of him and grasped his shoulder softly.

"Because you are not truly clearing your mind…" she paused thinking of a solution.

"Harry, tomorrow is the weekend, right? Let's meet in the secret chamber and then I will teach you properly. Now what do we have to eat here," She smiled.

When she returned to the dorm that day, Tracey jumped at her "I have the greatest news ever!"

"Which is…"

"Snape won't be here for the weekend, we could arrange a party here!" Tracey exclaimed.

"How can you be so sure?"

"Well, Draco overheard Snape asking McGonagall to take over his turn in the patrol this weekend. He would be away for the whole two days or maybe MORE!"

Daphne liked the idea of a party, at least she could distract herself a bit.

"Tracey, it would be more interesting only if we do something rather different, now come here," Daphne whispered to Tracey about her plan.

"Are you sure?" Tracey's eyes shined with excitement.

"I will pay for everything," Daphne said.

"Greengrass!" Millicent called from their room's door.

"What is it?" Tracey answered instead.

"Professor Snape wants to talk with her in his office," she said.

When she entered the potion master's office she saw Astoria already there.

"Good evening Professor Snape,"

"Miss Greengrass, please, be seated." Snape said.

Daphne started to feel concerned and shared a glance with Astoria who shrugged.

"Professor Snape, if it is because of my fight with Potter, I lost my temper, you have my deepest apologies, I shamed our house," She said.

Snape was silent for a moment before he decided to reply," It has nothing to do with your little clash with Potter...you see…" he put his hands on the desk while he started.

"It is with great sadness and sorrow that I must inform you of the news of your mother's death due to a chronic illness. Unfortunately, your father was not able to tell you personally due to the circumstances, but he asks you to be brave... The funeral was yesterday and he did not want to shock you, I'm sorry, my deepest condolences to you,"

Daphne's eyes widened at the news 'Eleanor is dead! How could that happen!?'

Her first reaction was to turn toward Astoria, the girl was pale and felt numb.

The younger Slytherin just sat there, her tears running down her cheeks. She stood up and went to her adopted older sibling, shaking her by the shoulders.

'My mum is dead, my sweet mum is dead!' Astoria kept repeating to herself.

When she heard Daphne's calling for her, she snapped and pushed her away.

"You killed her!" She yelled.

"Huh?" Daphne frowned.

"You killed MY MOTHER! I KNOW, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!?...MY MUM DIED BECAUSE OF YOU...YOU WERE AN EVIL OMEN SINCE YOU CAME TO OUR HOUSE…" She shouted between her gasps

Daphne did not want to believe what she was hearing, but straightened her stand, emotionless.

Snape ran to Astoria to stop her from attacking Daphne.

"We haven't seen a happy day since you came to our life, YOU RUINED EVERYTHING, all the grief and troubles we've had as of late was because of you," Astoria's voice was breaking.

"Miss Greengrass, please calm down!" Snape said. He summoned an elf and told him to bring madam Pomfrey at once.

"I have nothing to do with her death…" Daphne replied, coolly.

"You are the one who said that you would kill them, she died because of your tricks." Astoria cried, looking as if she was about to collapse on her knees if it wasn't for Snape holding her back.

Daphne was screaming from the inside and her heart was pounding hard in her chest.

Astoria, after an agonising minute calmed somewhat and straightened, she took deep breath as her eyes met Daphne's.

"I promise you, Daphne, I won't make you sleep in your bed comfortably as long as I'm alive...I'll be your nightmare, Daphne.

You will burn with the fire of fear as you did today. You have my word," Madam Pomfrey took her while Daphne remained frozen in her place memorising Astoria's words.

Snape massaged his temples and sighed tiredly. "Miss Greengrass are you alright?"

Meanwhile Harry was eager for the weekend when a girl entered their common room.

Tracey Davis has somehow walked inside the Gryffindor common room.

"Davis, what do you want?" Ron asked. "How did you get in!?"

"Weasleys," She greeted them, ignoring the high pitch of Ron's voice.

Harry who was sitting by the fire, reading a book raised a brow at the girl,

"Well As you can see, our house is having a party at the weekend and we have invited all the houses from fifth to seventh year to come and you are no exception," Tracey said.

'You will pay for this Daphne,' The Slytherin girl said to herself.

She turned to the first year boy that came with her who was holding piles of invitation. Tracey tapped her wand on top of the pile and the invitation flied to all the teenagers from the aforementioned year..

"Why would we want to enter the snake den?" Ron scuffed.

"Because it's a damn party, bloody hell, you're so stupid," Tracey rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, it's an open invitation, you have every right to decline, bye," With that said, Tracey departed from the Gryffindor common room.

"There is no way we are going," Ron said as he threw his invitation in the fire.

"It's just a party Ron," Harry said without raising his eyes from the book

"Harry, are you serious!? It's the Slytherins we are talking about," Ron growled.

"I say we go," Fred said to the others

"Whatever," Ron crossed his arms.

"I'm going," Harry declared.

"WHAT!?" Both Ron and Hermione said.

That night, the Greengrass sisters for the first time settled things between them.

Astoria stayed in the infirmary under madam Pomfrey's care while Daphne was scared to sleep, hugging her knees and shifting in her bed.

'Did I kill Eleanor?' She frowned.

Tracey, who woke to drink water, saw Daphne and ran to her.

Daphne didn't tell her anything but asked her to sleep with her, perhaps the embrace would help her calm down.

They eventually fell asleep at last, hugging each other.

Daphne woke up later and went to the bathroom.

At the same time, Astoria crept into the dormitory, specifically to Daphne's room. And because of the intense darkness in the room, she walked lightly to Daphne's bed…

She took a dagger out of her robe and looked coldly at the sleeping woman on the bed.

In a moment of anger, she grabbed the dagger's handle firmly and stabbed the girl who jolted slightly with a brief gasp before collapsing on the bed.

When Daphne got back in bed and lay down next to Tracey, she felt something liquid on the sheets and heard a soft whimper of pain.

She lit up her wand, using Lumos and saw the terrifying scene. Tracey was covered in blood and Daphne fell off the bed.

Horrified at the state of her friend and jerking off without seeing her back. She ran down the hall crying. The blonde Slytherin summoned Dobby, telling him to wake up Harry and bring him.

Looking around, she saw there was a small alcove up ahead and rushed towards it, feeling her body begin to shake uncontrollably. Ducking into the alcove, she sat on the floor and wrapped herself into a tight ball. Rocking back and forth, trying to stop the irrational fear flooding her mind. She gasped for breath, tears welling in her eyes.

'There's nothing I can do. I did it again, I lost it again...I killed someone again,'

The morbid thoughts continued and she felt herself losing control of reality.

'Dear God! Help me and free me from this misery,'

Her hands tightened on the handle of her shirt as she tried to remember to breathe. Her heart thudded loudly as if it was trying to escape the confines of her ribs.

'I killed my best friend, I killed someone again,'

Tears welled in her eyes as she shook her head, hair tumbling about haphazardly. She wanted nothing more than to pull her hair out as it would serve as a distraction to the memory of her bloodied friend. A strangled sob escaped her lips. She couldn't take any more. Daphne's hands released her shirt, allowing her fingernails to press into her palms.

When Harry arrived to the bathroom and saw her in that state, he ran to her.

Daphne recognized the voice of Harry, but she couldn't look up. Squeezing her eyes shut, wishing the chest pains would stop. She just wanted it to be over.

"Daphne, what happened?" Her husband asked quietly, concerns in his tone.

"I…did it again...I killed someone again,"

She couldn't bear it. The thought that her only true friend died, she gasped for breaths.

"What!" His voice was urgent now. She could hear a hint of panic in his voice.

"Damn me, Damn me!" Daphne slapped herself harshly.

Daphne felt fingers grasp her chin and tilt her face upwards. She saw his emerald eyes staring at her and her own reflection throught his gaze. She looked pitiful. Her hair appeared wilder and her cheeks looked blotchy from her tears.

Harry dropped his hand quickly, as if he had been burned.

She closed her eyes and tried to pretend that he wasn't there. This was worse than a nightmare for her; she was mortified. Closing her eyes, she focused on her breathing. She heard him ask her again.

"Save her, please," She kneeled to him, begging him.

"Who! Daphne, WHO?" Harry urged her to snap out of her panic.

"Tracey...she was sleeping with me and then there was blood,I- I killed her," She burst out in tears.

Harry stepped back from her, frozen, staring with wide eyes at her, his vision started to blur, he stood up and before he ran, she told him the password.

He saw nothing in front of him as he ran, asking Dobby to guide him, he didn't pay attention to anything. He tugged at the invisibility cloak wrapped around him. As he stepped into the corridor, he glanced around to make sure no one was there before setting off. He crept along the wall, tiptoeing so his shoes wouldn't make any noise.

When he reached the Slytherin dormitory, he whispered the password.

Dobby guided him to her dorm.

"Go and stay with her or else, she may do something stupid," He ordered Dobby.

The door opened just wide enough for Harry to slide in sideways. The moment the door was closed behind him, he whipped off the cloak and dropped it on the floor.

He saw her, Tracey laid motionless in the bed with the blood everywhere.

'Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!'

There were no words to describe the sinking feeling Harry Potter felt as he saw that.

'It can't be!' Daphne would never do that, not to her best friend,' Shaking off the silly assumption that his wife was somehow responsible for this from his mind.

He leaned on the bed and checked her breathing. She was alive, thanks Merlin.

Now how could he heal her?

The stabs were on the low end of her back, he turned her slowly to her side. blood was seeping from them on. He drew in a deep breath and he dropped down beside the girl 'What I'm supposed to do?' Harry bit his lip.

The Gryffindor fifth year doesn't have a huge knowledge on healing spells.

He still wonders how he managed to heal Daphne but that was different, they share a bond.

'Magic talks,' If it was true then, he needed it right now.

He tried to gather as much magic as he could and drew his wand on the girl's skin.

'Vestigia Retrorsum would work in her case,' The spell popped in his head and he immediately muttered it, but the spell didn't work much either.

'Focus! Focus! You can do it,' He dropped his wand and put both hands on his back.

He decided to try the same thing he did with Daphne. 'Heal her please, bring her back please,' He begged, closing his eyes tightly.

Suddenly he heard a soft moan, when he opened his eyes and checked the newly healed injuries.

Harry silently cried of happiness, he saved the girl.

He used Tergeo to clear up any dried blood from the wounds and cleaned the sheets.

Now he needed to return to his panicked wife.

"Daphne," Harry sat down on the floor beside her. "It's alright Daphne, she's alright." He took her to the chamber of secrets.

He laid down on the floor and took one of her hands in his.

"You're alright, Daphne. Okay? Just listen to my voice. Can you feel my hand?" he squeezed her hand tightly, his nails digging into her palm painfully.

With all the strength she could master, she squeezed back, though with nowhere near as much strength as Harry had.

"That's good," he smiled encouragingly. "Good job. See, you're alright. We're alright. Do you know where you are?"

His voice was low and even, offering her an inkling of calm when every part of her felt out of control. "Daphne, we're in the chamber of secrets. Remember?"

"Harry," she sobbed.

"I'm right here," he squeezed her hand again.

"Harry, Tracey, Eleanor! Because of me they are dead!"

"No," he shook his head. "No Tracey is alive, you didn't kill her." he kept repeating the phrase, watching closely as her breathing slowed and she became aware of her surroundings.

"You're safe. Now, I want you to take deep breaths, okay? Just like this," he breathed deeply, waiting for her to join in. "Come on, Sweety, you doing great. Deep breaths. That's it."

They stayed there for what felt like hours, just laying on the floor taking deep breaths. When her breathing had finally evened out and her sobs had quieted, Harry helped her off the floor and into the usual mattress, kneeling in front of her.

"They wouldn't stop yelling," she bit her lip to keep from crying again. "And then Snape told me that Eleanor is dead then Tracey slept with me,I didn't feel it and it all came rushing back. I just lost it."

"Are you sure it was you?" Harry frowned. "Since when you have being hearing the voices?"

"Since I stopped taking medicines, this monday."

"Why did you stop taking them?"

"Because I don't want to stay drugged all the time," she said. "I want to be healed,"

"You should have told me," Harry squeezed her hand. "You need someone else to talk to about it. Not that I'm not always here for you, but-"

"I know," she assured him. "It's just you have your own problems I don't want to add mine to them."

"Of course not," Harry got up and pulled her into a warm, strong hug. "I'm around if you need me,you were there in my darkest times what kind of man I am if I'm not here for you."

"Thank you," she hugged him back just as tightly,

"Why did you said Eleanor is dead?"

"Snape informed Astoria and I this evening, Astoria said it was because of me,and I don't deny that I threat to kill them,"

Harry looked down at her but she shook her head "it's different,I didn't kill her I swear because if I truly did, I would have known,"

"Daphne, you need to sleep,"

"I can't, not until I tell you everything...

Four years ago, I was involved in a very heinous event which will never be forgiven no matter how hard I pray. You see, my family is not as pure and honest as you claim." The girl responded mournfully, her eyes finally meeting her husband's gaze.

For a brief moment, Harry considered insisting that she needs sleep but decided instead to sit down next to his wife who looked on the verge of revealing important information, so he listened.

"Thousands of years ago, when God created Adam and made him his successor on earth, Satan disbelieved and promised to be the enemy of humanity until the end of time... then all his jinn armies would fight the children of Adam, and Lilith, Satan's wife, had more hatred for Adam and his wife Eve and She promised them to give birth to a hundred times Eve.

The first heir to Lilith and Lucifer was a female named Vasilia, Lilith bequeathed her the secret of magic in the world and gave her all her strength...

But Vasilia was not convinced of the beliefs of her mother and father, nor of her seven brothers.

You know them as the seven sins.

Vasilia once became curious about Adam's sons.

She climbed to the ground and there she met a son of the Prophet Adam.

She thought that he would stone her and pray to God and curse her, so she ran away from him, but instead he put a fruit in front of her and went on his way.

She became more curious, so she began to spy on him more and began to change the conversation with him, there she was certain the guilt of the people of Hell, so she submitted and submitted to her Creator, the daughter of Fire married the Son of Man and gave birth to him, and she devoted her life to serving the people of humans and her family, and she devoted superpowers Which she inherited on Lilith to protect humans from the deception of the jinn.

Lilith threatened her traitorous daughter to take revenge on her and all her descendants. Vasilia was terrified of her mother's promise, but her faith in her God was stronger, so she prayed for him and asked him to make one of her offspring a successor to inherit the knowledge that she inherited from her mother and even stronger than that in order to fight the people of the darkness.

God accepted her prayers and granted her wish, and at that moment the heiress with the nickname "Forbidden Fruit" was born.

Our family held together for generations. At first, brothers married each other, and later incest was realized, so we established a subsidiary family and we married relatives instead.

The original family branched off more and more. It is from this point that the pure blood families that you know were born.

As for the heir, it became a secret hidden from existence, the power that she carries in her blood, if she is a virgin, then the first to take her virginity gets great powers, and if someone drinks from her blood, will be cured of any disease or injury, and finally whoever eats her heart, shall be blessed with eternal life," She paused again, gathering her nerves.

"Lilith is the mother of magic and I am her heir, Harry." Daphne breathed out the secret of the royal family at last to someone.

Harry remained frozen in place for a moment as he assimilated all these new informations.

She felt her heart ache for revealing the hidden truths.

Harry was numb, Daphne was the child of Lilith, the same enemy his mother warned him from.

He married an eternal enemy.

But she was not bad, Daphne was good, she even cries for the silliest things, that's Daphne for him. Despite her cold facade, she is a kind soul with a lot of empathy for those she care about.

Daphne thought that, It was her chance to tell someone at last what happened four years ago. Finally, she was about to confess her sin, she squeezed her hands tightly on the hem of her clothes for support.

"Four years ago, my father lost his way and fell into the darkness." She smiled sadly at the memory.

Harry raised his face, he saw her paling, whatever she was going to say, it was extremely important.

"After we entered the first year at Hogwarts I had blossomed, by the first winter break, I waited for my brother to pick me up from the train station, but the one I found there instead was my father, that was the last thing I remember when he said to me, "There is no need to be afraid, your father misses you." Everything went black after that, when I woke up I-I "

She paused feeling cold, she brought her hands to her waist, trying to warm herself.

Harry put a hand on her to encourage her to continue.

"Then when I woke up, I found myself flat on a stone slab, feet and hands bound...

M–My father was looking at me as an animal looks at its prey.

There was a group with him whom I did not know and they were doing some kind of ritual…" Daphne brought her hand to her lips, trying to prevent a gasp of pain from coming out of her.

Her tears were filling her eyes.

"I was scared and asked him to set me free. He said: I will set you free, my lady.

Then I understood what was around me, I begged, "Please don't, don't." He didn't listen, instead, he silenced me so that I wouldn't scream." She started rubbing her arms,

Harry felt his breath getting harder as she started telling him her story.

"He stood up with all his weight and grabbed a dagger, in a moment. I felt it piercing my skin, completely in my heart," She was suffocating from the memory.

"Stop, I don't want to hear, please stop," Harry begged her to stop and stood up.

She refused to stop, it was now or never,

"I will never forget the desperate gasp that I gave that night as my heart was stabbed Harry because at that moment Everything turned dark, I heard what was happening,..there was screaming and the smell of blood...I screamed stop but I couldn't stop...my body was acting on it's own, my voice was talking but it wasn't me but someone else...I wasn't seeing but I was feeling...

When I gained control over my body again, it was too late. On that day, my father offered my body to bring Lilith back, and he succeeded for a while if I had not tried to confront her. Yet in the end she won. More than a hundred muggles from the village next to the temple where Vasilia was buried have been massacred by me, those who were present during the ritual except for my father who escaped, were killed."

Harry covered his ears, unable to force himself to listen as she said that.

"Stop!" He told her. He now understood why she broke down when she read that Eros acknowledged her crime.

"Berz was the one who was able to stop and fight me to a standstill until I exhausted myself and lost consciousness. That scar on his eye was caused by me, the sin of those I killed is a burden I will bear until the day of judgment." She screamed at him.

"After that my mental abilities were shaken and my whole body was broken as a result of the massacre. It took me the rest of the year in order to recover. Fearing Lilith's return, i decided to do something rather stupid…" She grasped his hand in hers and smiled sadly.

Harry's eyes frowned at her,

"Part of me died that night Harry, Lilith returned, she is still tormenting me because part of her is still within me, that's why I was taking medicines to keep her asleep and keep control of my body because she waits the perfect moment to pull me in the darkness again. She talks to me and use the voices of who I killed to torment me, I still can't accept the thought of what I did to them, they were innocent,"

"You did not kill them," He whispered, his voice shaking.

"Berz was right, My body participated in the end, so that's why I cursed myself, life for a life," She chuckled, sadly.

"Huh!?"

"No one knew the source of my illness because I told no one that I did that to myself,"

"Please, tell me you didn't not do what I'm thinking of,"

"If I used my magic on anything containing spirit, it would backfire on me whatever was good or bad, if I kill one more soul, I would be stripped by magic for good, it would be the perfect solution to destroy Lilith," Daphne admitted, acknowledging Harry's fear as he finally placed the pieces of the proverbial puzzle together as the girl unburdened her secrets on her husband.
