Chapter 26

It was Sam's time making a Floo Call, and he did not yet know what to expect. True to form, the emerald fire took only his head to the fireplace in Riddle Mansion. His head spun its way through the Floo Network, arriving at the desired destination.

"Father?"

A man sitting in the room jumped and looked around. It was Tom Marvolo Riddle aka Lord Voldemort.

Sam was a bit stunned to see his father look in his seventies. The look was unusual for him.

The Dark Lord's figure changed.

He grew old again since the last time they spoke.

"My son!" Tom said calmly. "What are you–what's happened, is everything all right?"

"Yeah," said Sam. "The king is meeting with the knight leaders at the mere moment."

Voldemort nodded. "We have set the fear in Phobos, the head of demons, for our cause"

Sam cut Voldemort off before he could go any further. "They killed our guerrillas. I wished to be martyred like them with every drop of my blood." he closed his eyes.

Voldemort waited patiently for him to continue.

"Our goal was to win the trust of the king and the leader of the knights, but…"

Voldemort smirked, "The more you gain their trust, the higher your standing." His brows raised, "Now is the time to gather the fruits of your labours,"

Sam nodded "The meeting will decide if to go to war with the children of the first queen...

And so they will break each other." Sam admitted.

Voldemort shook his head... "Whenever Vasilias government falls, we will rise and our cause will rise and spread in the lands"

"Roger…" Sam finished the call.

Voldemort was still in his place. The mirror that was hanging on the wall caught his attention.

He turned his face in its direction and stared at his reflection coolly.

"This fuckin ugly face again…" There was no hint of emotion.

Voldemort is the name that he made to himself and everyone feared. The man who returned from the dead. That was him, and him only…

The one who gambled his life to achieve immortality. And now there was nothing left between him and his goal but a thin line. The problem lay in the key that would give him that success. He had taken a sip of the virgin heiress' blood which made him gain his youth temporarily,

Voldemort groaned a little while sitting on the couch.

But the thing that did not change was his human form, despite his return to his true age, did not return to the serpentine form This time, he had chosen a different path. He won't let a prophecy or anything hold him back from his goal. He had waited a decade and a half for this.

With the first grimoire in his hands and the heiress of the wizarding world by his side, he would become undefeated.

His eyes fell on the chessboard that was presented on the table.

The opening went slowly for the game in Voldemort's eyes. Each of them seemed to assess the board quietly, taking action in deliberate moves and feeling out their opponent's. But no pieces had been lost. Voldemort, he knew, liked to play sensibly, not carefully, but certainly not recklessly.

The pawns already fulfilled their parts in the game…

Voldemort smiled at his tactic. He shifted a little closer to the board, scanned it for some time, then moved the King to safety. He promoted a pawn to a rook, then captured a knight.

It continued in such a manner, each move tightly controlled, examined and placed before moving onto the next. His eyes locked on the board, examining every possibility, every outcome.

The opponent lost its knights, lost its pawns. Now all that was left was the king, queen and a single Bishop.

He leaned his back to rest on the chair and let out an evil chuckle. Wondering how was the Queen's reaction while he was enjoying his game. She was now defenceless from the fall of the knights that kept shielding her.

It won't take too long before she surrenders to him. She has nowhere to go, all that was left was a little rumour of her whereabouts and that's it.

He had let her wander freely on this land. Now was the time to cage the bird.

[The High Palace]

Head Commander was under special and closed wards to heal alongside his vice.

Healer Yan Lin ordered her team only to enter, even King Phobos was rejected.

Now the king had arranged for an urgent meeting with his Knight Captains of the remaining divisions. He sat on his throne and patiently waited for them to stand before him as he gave his command. He wasted no time in talking.

"Tell us, who betrayed the throne in our city?" Phobos said in his firm voice. It was the powerful voice of a strategic and well-respected man. It rang through the meeting hall with an air of authority.

The captains lifted their heads, and Kamel, the member of the first division and the one who attended to the incident, spoke in the hotheaded voice of his. " Evidence points to your sister, Princess Rhaenys."

"Does she want to take revenge for the rebel Eros?" The scowl on the third captain's face was ever-present. It seemed to be permanent.

"We sent a preamble, already referring to the solution of the issue. How do they still dare such an attack?" Phobos asked with his eyes closed.

The captain of the first division kept staring silently as the captains argued.

"This treacherous attack, our state must respond in kind, in a way that shows its strength." Another captain thundered.

"They should become an example to the world," and another one agreed.

Phobos stared at his brother-in-law and cousin, also the minister of Egypt and the captain of the first division. Potiphar Vasilian waited to speak his opinion.

"Those who know the rivalry between us and Queen Diane' children are trying to blame them. Their goal is to make us break each other." he paused a bit as the others stared at him. "If we go hunting before all the ambushes are removed, we will fall into the trap."

The room grew deadly silent as the Captains turned to look at the man. The request was so foolish to ask. It was downright daring to bring it forth in front of the king.

"Minister, he will certainly be able to control the matter with his long military experience. Our respect for him knows no bounds" A man with ugly cropped blonde hair walked into the meeting room. "But the evidence points to Princess Rhaenys. Don't get caught up in your feelings"

Potiphar instantly recognized the man. Those big teeth of his were a dead giveaway whenever he spoke.

"Brother," Potiphar said, surprised at his brother's sudden appearance. He was even more surprised to see him in Captain's clothes.

Yan Lin ruined the moment with her sudden outburst. " That's right! She is a heinous criminal and traitor who stole weapons and killed many during the rebellion! And..."

Argai, the brother of Potiphar, raised his hand at Yan Lin, basically telling her to shut up because he wasn't done speaking. "I'm not talking about that. Listen up Potiphar. That girl was fucking around with our family. You can't easily forgive someone like that?"

Potiphar stared at him. "This isn't a matter of forgiveness. The family and friends are back to normal and… I don't believe that Rhaenys would disobey and try to even harm the head commander"

"Argai says that the situation is clear and you are talking about a trap " Phobos looked straight into the young man's deep brown eyes. They showed a mixture of emotions, but one that stood out was defiance. Potiphar would defy what is proper to do for what he thought was the right thing to do.

He looked at the king, waiting for an answer or response that would more than likely not end in his favour.

"That phrase. Would I be correct in taking that phrase as a deeply deliberate one? So who could put traps in our way?" Phobos questioned calmly.

"An English sect called the Death Eaters," Potiphar replied.

"What might their problem be with us?" Phobos raised a brow. "As a small group like them, wouldn't such a big attack be too big for them," the blond king almost laughed at the mention.

"They may appear small to us, but they are deep. I even think they have something to do with demons," Potiphar said, his voice as firm as ever.

"Show us the evidence," Argai demanded.

"The intelligence taken by Commander Potiphar is highly classified. At present," Phobos said as he stood up from his throne.

Walking toward the eight members of the captains.

"If in the middle were hounds...There must be a huntsman, holding their collars...We need the huntsman personally," he said as he kept walking between them.

"Bring me Rhaenys," He turned and faced Potiphar.

Sam stood tall with a tumbler of an elf wine in his hand. His broad shoulders were accentuated in the tailored black suit he wore.

Chaos pervaded the place inside the palace, especially after the first division. The vice commander had returned with Berz and his deputy had been injured.

There had been rumours swirling that he could die from his injuries and that there was a traitor among the captains wanting to overthrow the king.

But Phobos wanted to keep the rumours of an overthrow to a minimum. It was always on the captains and nobles' minds since Eros was the eldest, and strongest, of the brothers. Regardless of that fact, he did not accept to be put aside and instead rebelled. The rumours of another rebel were growing larger with each second.

Sam felt the need to be alone and wandered to the closest doorway that led to a balcony on the magnificent palace.

As he wandered onto the balcony, there was a beautiful view of the gibbous moon and sparkling stars awaiting him. Sam was lost in thought when a small voice brought him back to reality.

"It's a charming evening, isn't it?" She stopped short and stood a little taller.

Sam looked at the Queen's mother and bowed his head politely.

He comprehended the scale of the dirty tricks, and politics played behind the gentle veils of the castle. His role has become dangerous with each second.

"I'm sure the king will call for you at any second, my queen," he said.

"Is it? " She said bitterly.

"Your grace is not happy?"

"Where are the sanctities? You promised Berz will return as a corpse. Why is he still alive?" Aurelia snapped. Her voice barely reached a gentle whisper.

"I did all that I can, for now. The sanctities are with the thieves,"

"For how long? I need it now…" she spoke, moving closer "My son will send Potiphar. If it falls in his hands, everything will be wasted,"

"Don't worry about that I already plotted for the substitute solutions,"

She massaged her forehead. "I need more allies," added in response.

"Allies?" Sam replied. "What do you mean?"

"Potiphar will not rest until he reaches the truth. He was one of those who resented me for my lowly birth, and I do not believe Corvina really approves of me. On one hand, she wants Phobos to produce heirs, but only with the right sort of bride."

Sam couldn't deny the logic of Aurelia's assessment. If she kept acting on her own, then her stunt risked incurring the royal Aunt's anger; but perhaps Corvina had approved Potiphar's move. The king was about to depart for another war, and the minister of Egypt may not want him to do that.

"Who do you propose to approach as an ally?" He asked.

"I don't know," said Aurelia. "But someone close to the head commander."

"Perhaps his daughter, Eliza hasn't heard yet about her father's condition, I asked commander Yan Lin and she said that she went to China to have some mediation in the mountains," Sam mentioned "You will need the council on your side as well,"

"In time. Yes!" replied Aurelia. "For now, I shall content myself with someone close to Rhaenys as well. My son is trying to cover the accident from the eyes of the council. I cannot say anything..."

"No worries my lady," He said.

"No worries!?" Aurelia scoffed. "If Phobos found out about my involvement, it won't end well," she pointed her fingers. "And neither for you… Sam. Fix this."

The conversation stopped abruptly when Lady Corvina, or as she was named, the royal aunt, entered.

Both the ladies eyed each other.

"Why are the two of you here?" Asked Corvina, looking at them as though they had crawled out from under a rock.

"Her majesty is waiting for the king," replied Sam.

Corvina didn't seem convinced, wrinkled her nose high.

"I hope you are doing well, sister," said Aurelia, smoothly. "Would you like to visit his Majesty's chamber with me?"

"That would be lovely," she replied.

Aurelia walked Corvina, sending a momentary glance at the man to follow them, while the two women kept talking.

Daphne stared silently outside the window, an expression of extreme boredom marring her features. She impatiently tapped her fingers on the table, occasionally glancing back at the clock hanging on the wall. She swore that the clock had stopped functioning. Nope, still, working? Damnit!

She let out a frustrated sigh, looking up from her place towards the professor in front of her. Students rushed to write every note that could be a question in the O.W.L.s. They were so alive. Daphne felt like sulking.

Okay, so she had to obey orders. Her orders had been to stay put and be the good girl, but she just didn't feel like it.

How much time did she still have? One more lesson? Give or take the few minutes left. If she played her cards right, she could make it to the forest.

She hated being left behind, especially when the matter included her.

'Damn you, Harry! You better finish your task quickly!'

He left before dawn, and by the morning, the school was already on fire.

For the first time, Umbridge and Dumbledore shared one opinion as they freaked out to find the missing boy.

Umbridge did, at last, find the opportunity to interrogate every student about Harry in public under the name of the law.

The disappearance of course made Dumbledore's situation more difficult within the school board and staff. The less that was mentioned about the ministry, the better. This led to the blonde witch feeling some headaches all day. It was hard to be the witch in the backline.

But in chess, the Queen was important. Besides, it would be easier for her to watch and monitor everyone.

She got a nose bleed this morning when she had to use illusion magic outside the school, and Dobby told her to switch her magic with his. She had no choice but to agree to his offer.

Being Harry's wife gave her the advantage to have the access to the wards of Grimmauld Palace, the house acknowledged her as kin in blood.

But it had caused her some pain. It was official that she was getting significantly weaker with each passing day.

However, she needed to go to the forbidden forest and see the pups.

Kou asked her to take care of the fox pups he brought with him and babysit them as he departed for Iraq.

She had no choice but to take care of the tiny three pups. They were so cute, tiny like a Quaffle but so full of energy.

Dobby and Winky were taking part in this as well.

When she asked the fox, he only answered that their mother left them with him so they could train and gain more tails. Staying with the clan wasn't helping them. And they were not strong to take human shape yet,

So she was so excited to go to the forest to play with the pups. She felt like Hagrid for that realization

Walking down the corridors, hearing whispers about the disappearance of her husband reminded her of the old days. She glanced up at the horizon.

She remembered last year's events suddenly when they all talked about Harry badly, she didn't know him back then, and she didn't care for the rumours. Perhaps part of her always acknowledged him.

She smiled at the memories. She secretly cheered him to win the games. Perhaps his bravery reminded him of a certain hot-headed person. She wondered what he was doing right now? It's been years already...

Meanwhile, The headmaster was talking with the best friends of Harry Potter.

He made sure along with several members of his Order to begin their investigation.

Sirius Black insulted him for not being able to protect Harry and left the house to find Harry. Remus joined him only to make sure that his friend won't get caught or cause trouble somewhere.

That brought him to this point. Sitting on his chair and facing the bushy haired witch and the redhead wizard.

"The Dursleys said that he didn't come to them," one of the Order members reported to the Headmaster,

"I found nothing suspicious that belonged to Harry. Also, Arabella Figg said that she hasn't seen him," Tonks added.

"Thank you Tonks, Dedalus," the Headmaster said before they left.

He turned his attention to the two students.

"Well, Ms Granger, Mr Weasley," Dumbledore smiled, "Could you tell me if Harry showed any sign or something that seems weird lately?"

"I didn't notice any weird reaction from Harry that but he was distant. Has been ever since Mr Weasley incident, I told Sirius and thought you should know about it too," the intelligent young witch looked worried, "And I was hoping that you would check to see if he was doing ok."

"Harry barely speaks himself anymore, unless we talk to him, why would he leave?" Ron expressed.

"This is not like the last time, is it professor?" Hermione asked, sad.

"What do you mean, Like the last time?" Ron turned to her, puzzled.

Hermione looked at him, biting her lip with her eye showing guilt.

"Well... during the holiday, Harry left too, you all went to the burrow so we didn't tell, I'm sorry Ron,"

"Why I didn't know about that, I know that Harry was having hard times but we spoke about it!" Ron shouted.

"It's not Ms Granger's fault, we didn't want you to worry, and Harry returned by that time,"

"So Harry will return this time, right?" Ron asked, trying to smile.

Hermione looked away, with sadness trying to keep her facade up and her mind protected.

Feeling guilty for hiding and lying to Ron and Dumbledore.

"I'm afraid that I don't know," Dumbledore took a deep breath, "Harry took all his belongings with him this time, and he has been missing for several hours."

"You don't think he got captured, Do you?"

"Rest assured that I've had no information that would lead me to that conclusion," the Headmaster reached into his robes and pulled out a small parchment that had been found in his room, "I'm afraid the only clue we have is this note that you found Mr Weasley."

"Why do you think that Harry ran away, Professor?" Ron asked

"Well, Harry is a young boy that saw a lot and went through a lot of pressure lately, I believe and I feel guilty that I couldn't be around, you do understand that," Dumbledore spoke.

"Harry thinks he's going to die." The young witch paled.

"What do you mean by that Ms Granger?" The Headmaster demanded, "What leads you to that conclusion?"

"The note is like a way to say goodbye," Hermione, "Harry must have learned something that makes him think that he doesn't have much time left to live," Hermione said.

"I see," the Headmaster's shoulders dropped, "Is that why he didn't return to Privet Drive?"

"He wants to make the most of the time he has left," Hermione was holding back tears,

"Thank you, you've been most helpful," the Headmaster gave Hermione a sad smile and the two left.

The two shared a silent treatment as they walked through corridors.

"You should have told me!" Ron exclaimed suddenly.

Hermione stopped in her steps and turned to face him "Told you what?"

"That he ran before? If I knew I would–"

"You would what? Ron...Harry left because he doesn't want us involved okay!" She pointed her finger at him, her brows knitted in fury.

"We are already involved!" Ron snapped.

"Exactly," Hermione groaned, she moved closer to him, that they were inches just between them "and Harry blames himself for that Ron," she said in a heavy breath, full of pain.

Ron blinked, not understanding what she meant until she spoke the next few words that made Ron's mind blind.

"He still blames himself for your dad's death. He always will," she said.

There was a pregnant pause between them. Hermione ran up to her room and reread the short note that had been found along with Ron, clutching it to her chest she let the tears fall and hoped for the safe return of her best friend.

Hermione, Ron

Please look over Hedwig; take care of yourselves.

Harry

She should have noticed when Harry hugged her last night, she should have known.

Harry had entrusted her to continue in his place in Hogwarts. She would not fail him.

"Achoo!" Harry sneezed "sorry," he apologized, rubbing his nose before returning to drink his cup of coffee.

"Do you know that in my country when someone sneezes, it means someone is talking about him behind his back," Kou said.

"If this was true, I would have a ravish fever all the time," Harry chuckled "But maybe you are right. It's chaotic in England for the time being."

"It's creepy how you discuss as if it's normal," Sirius said looking from the newspaper, pretending to read while he was observing the crowd.

"Why is What?" Harry raised a brow confused.

"Don't you see how creepy it is to talk to a demon while he is possessing another man!" Sirius whispered.

Harry blinked twice innocently, looking between the two men.

Sirius was right, Harry thought, it was creepy to look at the demon in someone's else's body but he couldn't help it, when they landed in Iraq, the true shape of the demon suddenly appeared in front of the three men.

Harry was speechless, if dragons were huge and frightening, a demon nine-tailed fox was much more but at least it was elegant.

The scared boy admitted at that moment how amazed and stunned he was and that Daphne didn't lie when she talked brightly about the man-demon. Harry shook his head trying not to be confused.

Then the Asian fox said he couldn't use his glamour in the land but he could possess a body. The men had all rejected his crazy idea. But in the end, they accepted.

Here they were, sitting in a public café in the south of Baghdad, and exactly within the city of Babylon.

Or in different Muggle names within the boundaries of the modern city of Hillah.

Harry moved his hoody up a bit to see the wizards here and there talking. The city was closed. Almost quarantined from the outsiders.

Since the magic disappeared from the city, it became visible and the minister was forced to lock down the city under a declaration of emergency to remove the muggles from the place. But that's one part of the story. On the other hand, the magicians were terrified because magic no longer worked in the area and panicked with fear.

Daphne was right, it was chaotic.

They had been searching the city all day and didn't find any suspected death eater. They currently were seated. taking a short break before continuing in their task. If they found nothing, the search would continue in the next town.

He turned to Remus who kept silent the whole time, "Are you alright?"

Remus glanced at him before he nodded.

"I'm just thinking how will Daphne manage to cover us?" He questioned.

Harry and Kou both laughed at the result of the question.

Remus raised a brow unhappy about the behaviour.

"Don't worry about that, that little vixen can make the devil himself believe her," Kou said.

"Just like she managed to cover me when I left Hogwarts, she could do the same with you two," Harry shrugged.

"She would probably use illusion or something. Nevermind! Let's focus on our task,"

The werewolf kept silent as he remembered the night before.

Remus stood within the room of Hogshead inn speechless to the little announcement Harry Potter made.

Dobby showed up behind Remus holding in the air a tray of tea.

"Welcome, Professor Lupin," said the elf with a bow. "You are the last to arrive."

Everyone sat around the table, quietly.

"Alright, we can start!" Sirius loudly announced.

Daphne looked up at him and he swore that she had sent him a cold glare.

Remus put up his hands in protest. "Hey, hold on now…what do you mean by Iraq?"

Daphne lifted her cup of tea to her lips, with closed eyes, yet still emitting a dangerous aura so Sirius and Kou kept their mouths shut lest they want to be knocked down by her wrath.

Kou knew that the little witch hated to show any kind of sentiment in front of strangers. In the meantime, Remus Lupin was the stranger in her eyes, despite Harry's warm welcome to the werewolf.

"Just as you heard," Harry announced while dragging a huge sack bag with a seemingly and suspiciously large content.

"You sounded as if you just kidnapped someone." Kou lazily commented while picking his nose.

"Now, don't say that," He threw the huge sack bag and it fell in front of the trio with a very loud thud.

"This is completely ridiculous," Daphne muttered.

"That's my line, and nice to meet you, mister Werewolf." Kou's eyes became serious.

"Please, make yourself comfortable, I'm sorry that we had to meet this way," Daphne looked up at the man as she waved her hand, gesturing for him to sit with them.

It took a moment for all of them to register what he just said.

"Could we start again, so Remus could understand?" Sirius tilted his head and asked still with a cheery face.

"Are you stupid or you're just a dog? That's not a good joke! You're practically asking for another battle!" Kou freaked out. Both his hands were scratching and pulling his permed hair.

"Mister Sirius! It's probably the worst plan! It's too dangerous!" Dobby screeched.

"But Remus needs the full information too, am I wrong?" Sirius asked with an innocent look at his face.

"Yeah, I think I deserve to know what's going on"

"Sure, Honey?" Harry turned and found Daphne's killer eyes amusing. He grinned at Remus.

"Why not," she smiled.

Harry's eyes twitched. He usually didn't let any provocations in his head but his wife's mocking smile was reaching the very core of his soul.

Daphne waved her wand in the air and writings and pictures appeared.

" As we all know why we're here," said Daphne.

"The Dark Lord stole dangerous weapons, keys to rule the world," Sirius said, not posing a question.

Harry explained everything to Remus who was shocked at the end.

Harry hated to think like that, but sometimes it was unstoppable. As he grew up and experienced the politics of the world, Voldemort's manifesto made no sense. And while he hated that it was necessary, Harry could no longer argue that Voldemort was a dangerous threat. Nothing brought the world closer together than a common enemy.

"He needs to die," said Kou, the fox demon said, taking a cookie in his mouth.

"I tried," Harry told them. "Every time he does this, we come to the same conclusion. We fight him, he escapes. He goes into hiding. We send half of our manpower on a hunt for him, and we turn up nothing. As the months' pass, other things become more important, and he shows up again in a few years to cause trouble."

"So, The Dark Lord is trying to make another civil war between the members of the ruling family," He straightened himself.

"Right on the spot. Geez, you've guessed it right instantly. You're not just strong, aren't you? Surprisingly, you have brains too!" Kou even clapped his hand in admiration.

Daphne kicked Kou's foot from under the table.

"Those fuckin' bastards!" Sirius slapped the table in rage.

"That's why we need to commit to leaving for Iraq," Harry said even though he was the youngest of them. He was only fifteen years old. " Years ago, he started a war and all wizards came together and decided the Death Eaters presented an immediate and intense threat to the world at large. We came together, and decided to unite to face the common enemy."

"'We'?" Remus asked. "You're still in school and you weren't even born when we were at war. You don't have to remind us about the war that half of us fought in, lost comrades in."

Sirius send a sharp glance at Remus, he wasn't expecting that kind of reply.

"Fighting Voldemort is a waste of time," Daphne finally said... Remus gasped in shock for the boldness of the girl as she called the Dark Lord by his name without any slight fear of hesitation "—He's the strongest wizard in the world, with only Dumbledore as competition. Over half of the wizarding population of the world was killed fighting against Gellert Grindelwald alone, and he wasn't even the strongest enemy we fought. Why should we be so quick to attack?"

"What are you trying to say," Sirius accused her. "You lost your comrades? So did I. As did Remus. And Harry. Not only did we lose our comrades, but our homes were destroyed. Why should we wait around for him to attack again in a year?"

"We should all move to Hogwarts," Kou said coolly. "He would never attack it."

"Hogwarts is not out of his reach," Harry proclaimed. "And I'm not sure I understand what you're implying?"

"I'm only implying what we're all thinking," Kou answered. "The Dark Lord was educated there, the school founded by his ancestor. He deserted the school long enough to attack Britain but still came over the years. He attacks every gathering but his own, and yet seems to mysteriously vanish afterwards as if he's hiding somewhere that we aren't looking."

Daphne looked up at the images in front of her, millions of theories running at her mind.

Uncaring for what the men within the room were even arguing about.

"Suppose you are going to bring the sanctities things, what is your excuse for your absence?" Remus reminded Harry.

Harry blacked out for a second and looked at him innocently, "I didn't think about that?" He chuckled.

Daphne almost fell from her chair for her husband's lack of intelligence sometimes.

"Then how the hell, excuse my words miss Daphne, then how the hell did you sneaked out of the school without Dumbledore's awareness?" He snapped, starting to lose his patience.

"Ah, well that because of Daphne here, she's brilliant at manipulating wards and barriers," Harry patted Daphne's shoulder.

"You haven't answered me yet?" Remus started with authority.

"Are you with us?" Harry replied.

The entire room was quiet, and despite the closeness between them, Harry never felt so distant from the man.

Remus looked at the faces present within the walls of the room, it seemed that everyone was debating on his answer.

"A while ago, I went to visit someone's grave…" Remus looked at his folded hands.

"Whos?" Sirius raised a brow, confused.

He made eye contact with Harry and smiled "Your parents' grave."

Harry's lips parted and even Daphne blinked and turned her attention to the werewolf.

"And I made a vow to myself in front of their graves about something…" he paused for a second, glancing at Sirius "not disappoint my comrades again," he smiled.

Sirius tilted his head, unbelievably. Hearing those words from Remus made his heart flutter.

Remus However didn't finish his talk "This is why I vowed to not neglected their son's life and that I will always be by his side,"

Sirius grasped Remus's shoulder, his grin full of pride.

Harry smiled from the deepest of his heart at Remus's words, appreciating each word and digging it in his heart.

"The world has not yet been destroyed, and I intend to keep it that way," Harry said, standing up. "I will go in search of those Deatheaters. And if we find you-know-who, we will all fight him this time, so that we can bring him down. And if I get the chance, I'll kill the bastard myself. But don't you dare accuse me of trying to perpetuate the chaos and war in the world."

"There is no war in the world," Daphne said. Exactly, Harry thought. You're welcome. "Just one rogue wizard."

"It's a shame," Kou said. "Killing him might not be hard, but finding him is the challenge. It might be easier if there was an army to fight."

"Harry, I like your ambition but we can't do that," Remus said. Waving his hands around the table, pointing at the attendants.

"Don't count me with you werewolf," Kou learned his head to rest on the back of his hand.

"Or her either," Harry said, sighing to his wife.

Daphne looked away with crossed hands, irritated.

Harry didn't mind her cold behaviour, she was angry because she wasn't included in the plan.

'You're the only one who can tame her, keep her within Hogwarts for the next month…'

Harry remembered Eva's words. She warned him, perhaps they know what was going to happen and he wanted to keep it that way.

Daphne couldn't use her magic on people because it would backfire on her.

She was already accused of treachery.

Remus laughed until his tears filled his eyes.

"Okay Pup, easy there, so just the three of us, a werewolf, a fugitive criminal no offence Padfoot,"

"None taken,"

"And a student… Could stop a man in the same level as Dumbledore,"

"Who said anything about stopping him," Harry's brows knitted.

"He stole something and we will bring it back, I'm not saying that we can get it back easily, the fighting will be inevitable anyway, but the most important thing is to get out of the mission alive, we don't know how many are there anyway," Harry said as he took a sip from his cup.

'He's acting mature,' Remus thought, giving a glance at Sirius. The latter only smiled at him, giving him a nod, meaning that he understood the message.

"What's your plan then?" he sighed.

"It's an N.M mission," Daphne finally decided to join the conversation.

"What's N.M?" Sirius asked.

"No Magic mission," Harry and Kou replied at the same time.

Daphne used her wand to show them the temple area alongside hanging gardens.

"So the hanging gardens could be seen by muggles now?" Remus asked.

She nodded "We will obliviate them all anyway by the end of the mission,"

"We?" Harry turned to her.

"The Knights will clean all the mess that was caused," she paused, looking at the temple underground.

"Welcome to our world, professor," she smiled.

"So how, if the magicless ward is spread all across the country, could we enter?" Sirius raised his hand.

"This is where Kou's mission starts," she eyed the mentioned person.

"As a demon, he could use transmutation to go there easily during the witching hour, since it's the hour of climax to the demonic world, he could take you all," she said.

They all nodded. Harry stared at his watch, they still had time until the witching hour.

"However try to avoid approaching the temple, we don't want to wake the monster that guard's it," she advised.

"What monster?"

"Berz used Zeus Thunderbolt but he managed not to wake him, I don't know, something near a Titan or dragon, he guards the temple for centuries, it lives in it," She put a bag on the table, the same bag Harry brought it earlier, and opened it to them, their eyes all widened.

There it was guns and knives.

Harry gave her a suspicious look.

"What? I got them from a friend," she said flatly.

"A friend huh…" he muttered not buying it

"A friend that you still owe him twelve thousand galleons," Kou giggled evilly from behind them.

"Twelve what!?" Harry snapped, causing both marauders to jump.

"It's Just a few thousand, I would pay them ...one day," Daphne looked away, guilty. But soon I shrugged " do you know how to use it?" She eyed the men.

"NO!" They all exclaimed. Except for Harry.

The old marauders shot him a glare that he avoided, a sweat drop in guilt. They did not need to know the infernal exercises he had received at the hands of the blonde tyrant, still from time to time lamenting his hopeless condition. His youth was lost in those frightful exercises.

She rolled her eyes and massaged her neck. Harry knew what it meant.

Time for sadistic Daphne to show up. He felt his skin shiver for a second.

He hated that side of hers. It was a nightmare. A crucio from Voldemort could be a mercy compared to her hell-like training.

She moved with her wand the tea tray to the nightstand table, which she changed into a long table.

She grasped a gun between her fingers and loaded it, explaining each step.

Remus and Sirius wanted to laugh because they were getting a lesson from a young teenage girl.

Harry warned them with his eyes not but Daphne caught them in the act.

She didn't hesitate and shot right next to Sirius.

Who froze right in his place.

Harry shook his head in defeat.

"I don't want to waste the bullets," she threw a gun at Sirius while Kou handed Remus another.

Because really, in what world is it a good idea to give a fifteen-year-old a gun.

"It's Not Hard," she told them.

"Listen, what you're going to shoot is more important than who you're going to shoot...Check the target and aim," He told them.

The conclusion that the new team came to was one Harry had expected. Daphne will stay in Hogwarts, while he leaves at 3 a.m to Iraq.

While he knew that this was a big step, he didn't want to force his words on Daphne but they had no choice.

"Let's go, Dobby!" She called the elf and left without even looking at Harry.

Kou grasped the men, at the moment they were unguarded and flash stepped them all instantly and apparated in a foreign land.

It was not like apparating in Harry's mind since in a blink of an eye his place changed.

And didn't feel like vomiting.

His eyes moved up to his comrades in mission and realized for the first time, he was not playing…

He indeed was after some death eaters, those men in front of him, they chose to follow him, knowing how dangerous this could be.

He choose to do it to protect the woman he loves but they choose to do it for him. How could he ever repay them?

He didn't even get a goodbye from Daphne.

She and Dobby alongside the little pups left to begin their arduous journey back to the school, leaving them standing alone.

Voldemort stole the keys to rule the world, it was not surprising, knowing the man, he would do anything to feed his hunger for power.

He used a small eleven-year-old girl and possessed her just so he could return and attack young muggle-borns.

Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, Lestrange, Nott, Avery, Crouch Jr, Dolohov and Lestrange…

The list was listed and each time Harry counted them, another name was added.

He trusted the DA to Hermione. His mission was to teach them to defend themselves with magic in case anything may happen.

It was the only undarkened thing he felt that he ever did. At least in case something happened and he may never see them again, he was having faith in them and was sure of them being capable of protecting themselves.

He trusted Hermione, she was after all the brain after the golden trio. Who would have thought that the party Daphne organised would be perfect to see all his school year friends for probably the last time?

Once again unconsciously, his wife helped him.

"Guys, I will be right back," he stated out of the blue, standing up.

"Where are you going?" Remus inquired.

"I will walk around, be right back," he waved his hand, leaving the group.

He looked down at his black clothes and wondered how much had Daphne worked to afford them, did she always had a backup plan.

'What's this?' Harry asked as he looked at the wrapped cloth.

They were talking in deserted class, the news was still fresh about the attack and the robbery.

'Open it,' she said, as she sat on a chair, crossed arm and knees.

When Harry opened it contained Long Hooded Leather Coat with bottoming sleeves, trousers, gloves, straps, hat, shoulder pads, aprons, wristbands, belt, girdle, waistline, long vest, shoe

"What's all that?" Harry chuckled.

"Your clothes," she said, without looking at him.

"They are hilarious." Harry knitted his brows.

Daphne raised a brow, "Try them,"

"Now! here?"

"Yes, don't make repeat myself,"

When Harry tried them and looked down at himself. He noticed her approaching him, adjusting his crossed collar.

"I ordered it to look more modern and specifically, to flex your moves when you fight. You will hide your weapons here and here… and also here–" she said.

Harry's eyes hooked on her and smiled.

"As for this cloak," she wrapped a dark blue cloak around him, fixing it on him, "Iraq is kind of hot at midday but cold at night, it will help protect your skin and cool you," she looked up.

"...when did you ever think about this?"

"Do you remember the heavy package you received?"

"The legendary Italian undergarments, by the way, I still want to see you in them,"

She slapped his shoulder, "I know you would want to fight as soon as you get the chance, and I didn't even know you back then, I ordered one for you," she moved away.

"Does this belong to your knights?"

"No, but you better deserve it, I assume, also…"

Harry's hand played over the little bottle in his pocket. She even gave him some of her blood in case he got injured along with his comrades.

He didn't want to use her. He refused, but as always, she won the argument.

He felt guilty and bitter for hiding his heritage from her. He had always felt the worst for lying to her.

As he looked around, the market was no different than Diagon Alley but it was brighter and bigger, despite the crowd.

Tourists were everywhere, hiding his face under the hoody to prevent the powerful sunlight and also to hide his scar was good.

The only missing thing was his round glasses.

The whole group agreed that he needed to get rid of them, none of them knew any spell that would strengthen his eyesight. His wife meddled. At first, she was about to cure him but then they started to argue about it, it was long before Remus arrived.

He laughed when Harry told her that if she was able to wear his glasses in exchange, her whole body paled.

It was clear, Daphne hated glasses and specifically Harry's own ones.

Kou told her to feed him some of her blood and without hesitation she did. He refused almost slapping her for even considering doing it for him.

The war in the chamber, yelling and shouting, ended up with Kou holding him from behind as she pushed her blood down his throat with force.

He almost vomited on her but she closed his mouth.

'Swallow it or die choking on it,' her eyes said, smirking, evilly at him.

"I'm on a new level of freakiness," he murmured to himself.

He managed earlier to discover that as undercover Aurors, Remus and Sirius's experience made it easier, the Knights were surrounding the entire gates of the city, making it hard to leave, without making a fuss.

Harry looked at the products offered in the market, and the pottery caught his attention. The decorations were beautiful and bright, drawing attention. The saleswoman approached him, but he did not understand her words. She smiled and spoke in English. "Understand me now?"

He nodded.

"Do you want something dear?"

"No thanks,"

"Are you British?" She asked

Harry shook his head in denial, "No, American,"

"Oh alright." She shrugged as she offered him her products. Harry had to be careful, especially with his identity.

Then he heard a very familiar voice, he tried to sneer. Impossible that he, however, followed the sound, and glimpsed the owner of the voice coming out of what seemed to be the perfumer.

He followed him so he could see the figure standing between the crowded market, as he got closer Harry's eyes widened for a second then narrowed in rage as he saw who it was.

His eyes widened and his mouth parted.

"Snape," he uttered.

Shock and anger boiled up in Harry at the sight of him: he had forgotten the details of Snape's appearance, forgotten how his greasy, black hair hung in curtains around his thin face, how his black eyes had a dead, cold look. He was dressed in his usual black cloak.

Before he even reacted, the figure disappeared in front of him.

He felt constantly in danger as his feet started to move on their own, and then he raced through the crowd and his mind was in a state of organized panic at the second.

After the potion master, could it be?

Was he the one who attacked the commander?

As Sirius, Remus and Kou caught up with Harry they could see that he had already gone to pull up his mask to cover himself.

They couldn't understand why he did that, but when they saw a figure standing a few meters away from them. It dawned on them why Harry had changed.

"I can smell Rudolphous Lestrange too…" Remus said to Harry, who shook his head, assuring his thoughts.

Harry wanted to ask how Remus knew Lestrange smell, but shrugged it and focused on the man he was chasing.

Snape felt someone following him, so he fastened his speed. He glared from his shoulder to see four men walking. They were dressed entirely in black, wearing a facemask with their hood up.

He didn't know them, they didn't seem to be like the Aurors he managed to avoid.

He had left Rudolphous in a very small hotel as his injuries were still healing. With their magic gone, they had to rely on healing paste.

Harry and the others were following him.

"Remus, try to locate Rudolphous, he knows we're following him," Harry said.

After three months of training, this was the best time to act on what he learned.

How to hunt and chase, hit and run, fight and survive.

"Snivellus is trying to distract us, the bastard!" Sirius hissed.

"Which means he doesn't have the sanctities," Remus dedicated.

"No doubt about it," Kou replied.

"Let's split," Remus suggested

"I agree with him, I don't want to die yet," Kou said.

When they were about to split, they felt immediately surrounded by the Aurors.

"Brilliant…' Harry bit his lip.

"At three" Harry whispered to them

"But?" Sirius said

"Don't worry Pad, I can handle myself?" Harry said

Three…

Two…

One...Now!

The four men ran in different directions, while Harry ran in Snape's way.

This was where Snape had left for the weekend. The students would probably be happy not having him around.

People were shouting behind him but he did not care. The hem of Snape's robes whipped out of sight ahead.

He kept running until an Auror appeared in front of him, trying to stop him but Harry's eyes saw only the potion master in front of him.

He dodged him, easily and elbowed him in his chest. Causing him to fall back on a wooden table.

That didn't stop the other men from chasing him.

Snape, Snape, Snape…

That was thought that fueled in his mind,

When he finally got a sight of him, it was like hit and run. Snape was turning and swinging here and there between the alleys of the city with Harry a few feet away from him.

Snape would have never guessed that the one who was chasing him Lily's child in disguise.

Snape looked around. The man was almost catching him at the other end of the alley, The lower part of his face was concealed by a black bandana.

He wore a black leather frock coat with a hood, a dark waistcoat with silver buttons, a black ascot tie, black leather trousers and boots. Without magic, he felt helpless and worst he was still injured from the previous battle, but Snape looked back as Harry sprinted toward him.

The Potions Master had no choice but to throw anything at the man. He picked anything in front of him and threw it back to block the man and provide himself more time. He pulled a small gun and aimed it at the man.

Harry stopped when he caught sight of a silver object in Snape's hand. He immediately dodged behind some container as he heard a shot being fired. There were no more footsteps. Snape had stopped running. He crouched behind a wall, listening.

Harry was surprised to see Snape use a gun. He was frustrated, should he use his.

'Don't waste the bullets!' a voice in the back of his mind shouted.

"Fuck…" he cursed.

Harry desperately tried to move faster through the quarter.

Suddenly he heard a noise outside the alley. He turned to see the Aurors approaching.

Harry flung himself out from behind the container and ran in the direction of Snape,

— the professor shot again. Harry dodged behind some garbage and looked for a substitute solution.

He had one tactic in his mind to catch the man at the instant. Jump despite the danger at the man and knock him down.

He pulled a knife and threw it at Snape which hit his leg. Snape groaned in pain as he fell on one knee.

Harry got out of his hiding at last and walked straight to him.

"That was a lucky shot!" He let out an irritated sigh as he looked at the pained man.

Snape's eyes widened at the voice he heard, it could not be.

As soon he was about to turn and face Harry, there was a bunch of footsteps coming near.

In seconds, he turned and saw himself surrounded by men.

Harry stopped dead in his tracks. The man he'd hit before walked towards Harry from the exit of the alley at a leisurely pace.

They stopped some distance away from Harry before reaching into their pocket. Hell no. The man looked much smaller than Harry, he could take him. Harry ran at them without a second thought, landing a punch square in their face.

Professor Snape used the opportunity and escaped and Harry had no choice but to fight foreign Aurors.

Snape ran through the nearest stairs and crept to the end on some rooftop.

He jumped from rooftop to rooftop, watching the figure trapped. His injured leg made it even more agonizing as he used his full Occlumency to maintain focus.

Harry counted the six men.

'This will take longer than I thought.' He unsheathed a dagger from his hip. And he jumped at the first one who approached him.

Harry did not want to fight this foreign land Aurors but he had no choice, this mission was clear, 'kill anyone who tries to stop you' because they don't know who was the bad one and who's the good one.

Harry didn't want to kill. But it was for the Greater Good after all. Harry didn't know that the justification he gave himself would stray him towards the same path that Gellert Grindelwald once followed. A path that Dumbledore himself had barely managed to avoid, but not completely.

He was fast. Before the Auror could react or move to his weapon, Harry had pressed his dagger through his throat.

"Forgive me," Harry whispered.

True to his initial assessment, Harry fought like he was in a bar brawl, throwing several punches, before one of them pulled out a knife. Hehad his back turned, focused on the other Auror, he didn't see it coming.

Seizing his moment, a man threw his knife, which found its mark, hitting the man in the chest. Harry turned to defend himself but was shocked to see that the Auror was already dead. He pulled the throwing knife from the man's chest and looked around him.

The man remained where he was, perfectly still, he was quite sure Harry hadn't noticed his hiding spot, he shook his head, 'Clearly, this one needs to work on his skills of observation.'

Another man jumped to the roof while watching the show down there.

"Do you see that?" The one with him said.

"Ah, skills of a knight…" he remarked.

Snape took advantage of the fight and ran back to Rudolphus.

"Get Up!" Snape yelled as he slammed the door behind him, making Rudolphous jump awake.

"What!?"

"We have been followed," he said as he gathered all their belongings.

They both froze as they heard footsteps outside the room. But they passed, and both of them sighed.

"Where to?" The other man asked, feeling pain in his body

"Out of the city…" He said his focus on the voice he heard.

It couldn't be, the man in hoody's voice was similar to Potter's. No! It couldn't be him.

Draco stood outside the dungeons Umbridge had called them all to give them new missions. It would be the last before the plan would be kicked into action. Umbridge had finally found a loophole to finish Dumbledore.

But Draco had reserved doubts about whether they would be successful. Harry Potter and his sidekicks never lost. But it was time for a change.

Potter's disappearance was strange.

With revolution on his mind, he pushed the wooden door open to reveal a familiar stony room. Blaise stood aside from the fireplace. Nott and Davis sat around the long stilted table, they looked up at Draco.

Lately, those who Draco found trustworthy were just the ones he had gathered right at the moment to speak his mind.

Draco gestured to Blaise towards the table. He paused to make sure everyone was present.

Blaise seated himself as Draco snapped out of reflection, "I'll get straight to the point. I have been offered the position of prefect- though I plan on rejecting it-" Nott stood to protest, Draco put his hand up to silence him, and then gestured for him to sit down.

"Though it will be further discussed by Zabini and me. I've called this meeting as a final warning; whatever happens nobody is to stray from the original plan under any circumstances, We can't take over the school just because the golden boy disappeared." He looked up and the Slytherins nodded feverishly, They nodded in agreement, looking at each other with suspicion.

"By the way, where is Daphne?" He asked, worriedly.

The remaining death eaters were all in their hideout to discuss their next move. While Severus and Rudolphous were busy with secret missions, the rest of the dark wizards were comparing notes on what their next move would be. At the moment in the hideout were Bellatrix, Lucius, Wormtail, Dolohov and Rabastan while the rest went to their tasks.

''Any news on Snape and Rodolphus?' Asked Lucius

''No, they haven't sent any news yet, This is gonna take a while.'' Said, Dolohov.

''This is boring. I wanted to go, I need to stretch my skills, pff'' Pouted Bellatrix.

''I guess sitting home is not your style, Bella," Said Rabastan to which Bella only ignores.

"So, let's end today and start a new search tomorrow and amuse you dearest Bella'' Smirked Dolohov.

''That won't be necessary.'' Said a new voice, startling everyone.

Stepping out of the shadow was their leader, /Lord Voldemort.

"My lord!" They greeted me.

''My lord. What are you doing here?' Asked Lucius.

"How dare you ask our lord!'' shouted Bellatrix but Voldemort cuts him.

'Easy Bella, wonderful news has reached me'' Said the dark wizard putting a hand on his chest. "The Potter boy escaped Hogwarts,'' Said Voldemort, almost laughing, his red eyes and snake pale face.

"Will we chase him, my lord?" Bellatrix jumped immediately, bowing to her lord, her face sparkling like a teenage girl who she saw her crush passing by.

Rabastan only rolled his eyes, sometimes his sister in law forgot her place and her being a married woman.

"Patience Bella, we want him to fall in our trap now, won't we," he hissed , in a serpentine tone.

''They probably have their ideologies already set up. They keep shouting about how horrible we were for killing so many people.'' Said, Dolohov.

''We don't care for what a kid has to say about us.'' Said, Lucius.

''I still think you should all let me break his neck.'' Said Bella.

''Not now Bella. Because I have an ultimate plan to destroy the chain user.'' Said Voldemort.

''But how.'' Asked Rabastan now curious.

''While we are unable to kill him. But what if we destroyed everything that he holds dear.'' Said Voldemort confusing the Death Eaters.

''Are you talking about his friends?'' Said, Lucius. Whatever kind of plan that dark lord had it better not be within Hogwarts, that would cost a lot of work.

''I am not talking about just that Lucius.'' Said the man ready to talk about his new plan.

When Harry finished the men, he sighed deeply as he pulled back his dagger after cleaning it with the hem of his jacket.

Worried and confused. He looked around. Snape had managed toescape. The coldness of dread surrounded him. Then, someone tapped him on the shoulder, almost frightening the life out of him.

Harry recognized those grey eyes all too well, though they now belonged to a younger man of war and no longer to the old skinny sad man he once knew.

He glanced down at the men in the blood. He couldn't believe that he did that, he had killed.

A part of his heart clenched, but he had no choice, they were not allies. He remembered Cedric's and Arthur's lifeless bodies in front of him.

He closed his eyes tightly trying to erase that memory from his mind.

'Please, go, not now!' he prayed.

"Aslan!" he heard someone calling, and he figured out it was Sirius calling him as zoned.

They decide to call each other with their titles so no one would pick anything that will lead to their identity.

Since the marauders already have nicknames, and Kou was called by his Japanese name «kitsune» Harry was left without one.

Then Sirius came up with the perfect name. "Aslan." It meant lion in Turkish.

Sirius said that Harry was the bravest one between them, even more than Prongs or Lily and he was a true Gryffindor, so he picked for him the perfect name, "Harry–the lion"

"Are you alright?" Sirius said, grasping Harry from his shoulders, Harry winced at the physical contact.

"You're wounded!" Sirius exclaimed. Watching his godson's right shoulder bleeding.

Harry shrugged him off, he got wounded earlier when Snape shot him, he dodged the first one but he couldn't avoid the second one.

He still wasn't fast enough.

That's why it took him longer to finish the Aurors.

"It's not a big deal, let's find the others…" Harry said.

When Sirius was about to protest Harry spoke again putting a hand on Sirius's shoulder to calm him down " Before more Aurors appear here, come on," he hissed.

Sirius bit his inner cheek and nodded.

Harry smiled weakly at his Godfather who showed anxiety.

He had to retreat for the mere moment, he lost Snape when he was busy fighting anyway.

But he had an idea who the target was.

In the hospital wing of the high castle, healer Yan Lin was doing her check on Berz and Eva.

It was the eleventh time this day for her to use her magical needles to close the injuries on them. She tried every possible antidote she had learned in her life but nothing worked or slowed the process of the poison.

Every time she closes a wound twenty minutes later it opened again.

Her team was analysing the poison for hours, they figured that it was snake poison. So they decided to try to make another poison to kill the latter.

She decided to take a small rest to gather her energy again, her magic was low as her energy to stay away was. She let her girls guard the patients while she rested.

Resting her back on the chair and closing her eyes, she remembered the meeting earlier.

"Mistress Yan Lin!" One of the healers kept shouting.

Yan Lin opened her eyes wide open, startled.

"Vice commander Vonavish is not responding to the potions!"

Yan Lin ran to the side of Eva and checked on her. She used her magic, With the four of them working the chest wound to get closed quickly and Eva coughed roughly. Yan Lin unravelled the old bandages and cringed at the inflamed skin around the lacerations.

"Damn it, Eva! Stay awake!" Yan Lin shouted as she started to heal the woman.

When she was trying to heal them, the woman wasn't responding to the system.

Eva let out a breath and her body sunken suddenly.

After the dread sunk in...

Yan Lin leaned back and said with sorrow "Calling it. Time of death–"

Remus was sitting on the bed looking at the demon fox and waited for him to say something. He wasn't sure what. Just something. But the man had only stood there like an idiot.

He wondered if maybe he should ask Kou or let him go and look for Sirius and Harry. He was worried it was midnight and they haven't returned to the Rendezvous Base and the Hideout yet.

As for Kou, Kou had told her. Kou had warned her. He thought about calling and say something to Daphne about that, but anger and condemnation took too much effort at the moment. Besides, it was the last thing Eva would have wanted.

When nothing was forthcoming, he simply turned and walked out of the room, muttering that he'd check on Harry. Halfway down the hall, he stopped, " She wanted to die for him, stupid woman," he smiled.

Suddenly the earth cracked and a huge bang voice ringed in the air.

Remus ran out of the room catching with Kou, a red and orange light appeared from the window, as they watched, they saw the city on fire.

Sirius and Harry managed to hide in an empty room that seemed to be a storage room in the back of some store in the market.

Harry took off his top and looked down at his injured shoulder.

Following his eyes, the animagus saw that his left-right shoulder was soaked with blood, he knew that he needed medical attention right away. However, if they were to get back to the others in time, medical attention would have to wait until then. "What do you want me to do?"

"I want you to take it off…" Harry groaned.

"What!?"

"The bullet, take it off,"

Sirius shook his head in disbelief, What had happened to his pup?

Sirius pulled the bullet out of the youngest marauder, and Harry clenched the cloth in his hand tightly, avoiding to scream, sweating hardly.

The big task has passed, now Sirius had to close the wound.

He put a dagger on top of the flame and let the iron heat up until its colour turned lilac.

"Ready?" Sirius asked.

Harry's emerald eyes fell on Sirius's grey ones and nodded.

Harry put a cloth on his mouth as let out a silent groan as he clenched with his teeth the cloth.

Feeling the hot iron touching his skin. The burning he felt was like a thousand stab wounds in the same place.

Sirius closed his eyes, unable to look at the painful expression of Harry.

"Don't move, or the wound will open," Sirius sighed. " You're lucky it didn't get through,"

"Yeah, the coat is made of dragon's scales. Thanks, Pads," Harry smiled.

"Where did you learned that?"

Harry blinked before he understood what Sirius asked and brushed his messy hair "My wife. Sometimes she pretended to be Voldemort just so I could lash out my true strength, I ended up breaking her nose twice," he chuckled.

"Let's go back to the slum, let's go back now. The bullet may be poisoned"

"We cannot turn back now, especially since we have known the thief. I made a promise to protect her, and I will not return until I return the sacred trusts," Harry stood, fixing his attire again, heading to the door

"You go to the others and tell them to meet with me at the gates of the city," he said to Sirius.

Harry split with Sirius and walked to the gates. It was already dark but if he was in Snape's place and got caught, he would try to leave the city.

He was reaching the gate when it exploded in a flash. With the power of the explosion, Harry was flung away, hard.

The acrid stench of smouldering timber, plaster as well as phosphorus and other chemicals filled the smokey air as Harry was brought back to consciousness.

He laid in the pile of rubble. An intense ringing in his ears had left him almost entirely deafened as his blurry vision steadily cleared.

The place was filled with grey smoke from unseen burning fires and the stirred ancient dust. Large portions of the walls, the ceiling and even a part of the floor had been broken open as a result of the massive explosion.

'What the hell happened!' Harry cleaned his eyes to see better.

Another explosion rocked the building beside him. Harry was flung to the ground as the shocks rippled through the floor. People screamed wordlessly as they struggled to get their feet under them.

"Aslan!" Padfoot screamed. "I returned as soon as I heard the explosion. " He helped Harry stand up. Harry scrambled to his feet, clutching his arm.

Harry drew an arm across his eyes, trying to clear the dust and smoke.

BOOOM.

Another explosion rocked the city.

"Do you hear that?" Sirius said, face pale from panic. Harry tried to hear through the chaos, there it was... laughing.

Evil laughter filling the air, he looked around what was that?

A man came running in their way.

.

Harry ran to him to see his need. At first, he looked at the stranger's bleeding arm, in flash, the man wrapped his hands around Harry trying to choke him.

Harry's panic didn't last as he heard the man laughing murmuring inapprehensible words.

Harry managed to break free from the man and took him down.

He saw in confusion to Sirius as another man showed up, behind Sirius.

Kou showed up in his real form and took the man's head between his teeth, Remus shouted to them to climb.

While Kou was running through the gates at high speed.

"We were sitting when this happened…" Remus said.

"What happened!?" Both Sirius and Harry shouted.

Remus turned his face to them and said "Demons...Demons happen,"

Harry and Sirius blinked a few times adjusting to Remus's words who continued "They attacked the city, since it's defenceless, Out of magic. Kou thinks that they are after the sanctities too, we need to have to flee as fast as possible!"

Daphne gazed upon the black endless horizon with a serene expression on her face. A look that gave off the feeling of acceptance. The starry night often gave her comfort amidst the tension and diplomacy that had begun to revolve in her family in the past years.

It was closing to dawn and the school was asleep this night. But the blonde sought her solemnly under the stars. They were such a mystery to her.

Beautiful stars and gases, all laying upon the pitch-black darkness in the sky.

Every time she looked up, she realized how insignificant she was, in the greater scheme of things.

'The planets and stars seem closer to our home tonight.' She thought. Her soft-spoken words drifted into the horizon as she stood all alone in the Astronomy tower. She grazed her right hand through her sweeping blond hair which she had inherited from her family.

A few minutes later she felt a presence behind her but she didn't move from her stance. Seconds ticked along as if they were years, but none of them spoke a word. While she kept gazing upon the beautiful planet that had a light shade of purple, he kept his eyes focused on her.

"How long has Mistress been like this?" asked Dobby.

"She has been like this for hours…" Winky showed her concern. "Mistress didn't rest since last night, and she bled a lot earlier," Winky thought.

"My strength…", was all she muttered, confused about what was happening to her. Clutching her chest, she hoped her feelings were wrong.

It had happened so fast in Sirius's mind… In a blink of an eye, the people started slaughtering each other.

It was a massacre. Everyone started killing each other and the group had to leave the burning city into the forest.

And a covered in a cloak of blood Harry rushed towards Snape with the clear intent to kill. A Blood that wasn't his. There was no stopping him. Sirius was standing behind just looking at the scene.

The boy who lived,No the boy who killed, who had to grow before his own time, raised out his sword and ran towards Snape to fight him. Both came so close to each other, Snape was ready to attack him but Harry… He did not even look towards him. His eyes were on Rodolphus Lestrange.

"Oi!" Sirius screamed.

Harry gave him a stare in his eyes. Padfoot understood that Harry was not going to harm Snape but he needed to bring them down. As soon as he looked forward,

It was a battlefield and it was killed or be killed.

And he managed himself pretty well…

[Sometimes later in Hogwarts]

By the edge of the Black lake, Daphne was staring at the sky. It was a grey overcast day. How strangely fateful.

Tick tack tock

The pendulum dances in full cycle.

It was the morning already.

She closed her eyes to feel the breeze caressing her cheeks. What a fresh breeze it was, seeming to refresh all her sense

She turned slowly and stared down, there was no turning back after this step.

Draco Malfoy was chained to a chair right on the edge of the black lake.

She ran her hands through his soft hair and gave a sad sigh. Down his face, till they landed on his shoulders. And bent down to the level that their noses were touching.

"Don't blame me for this, my friend, I love you and you know that," she said with sympathy glittering in her eyes.

Draco's brows knitted, he shook his head despite his inability to talk, As if he was trying to say don't do it, please.

"—but blame your parents who didn't love you enough," she finished coolly, her eyes empty of any spirit and emotion.

Draco's eyes widened as he felt suddenly pushed back. It felt as if time slowed and a second turned to an hour. The gravity took him unguarded as he sank underwater.

Draco's last Vision was Daphne's figure on top of the water.

Daphne threw Draco Malfoy from the edge of the black lake in an attempt to kill him. While she looked down at the fallen boy to the lake, one last glance while he drowned.

"Such a sad way for a pure wizard to die," she murmured before she turned on her way.

"Goodbye! Friend," she murmured, sadness visible in her eyes, just for a flick moment.

What a dramatic way to end their friendship...
