A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter six of this story. Here, we cover R1 episode 5.
Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass
The episode opened with cries of "Fire!" and a battle.
"It seems this is when we conquered the Middle East Federation." noted Cornelia.
"I don't like this." said Tianzi upset.
"It is fine, your majesty." replied Xingke comfortingly.
"Shoddy oversized imitation Knightmares." scoffed Darlton.
"They would have been wiser to surrender from the start." added Guilford.
Guilford and Cornelia can't help feel a bit nostalgic for these bygone days and saddened to see Darlton.
Suddenly, a palace behind the Arabian forces was destroyed. A lone Knightmare stood tall.
"So, Cornelia, a single unit did this?" asked the Arabian commander surprised.
"Impressive as even princess." whispered Guilford.
The MEF forces were destroyed cementing the fall of the now former country.
"Another victory. Area 18 has been established." said Cornelia dryly.
Darlton popped up on a screen.
"My Lady, about our next course of action." began Darlton.
"Sorry you have to clean up after my foolish younger brother." said Cornelia.
"Please don't apologize, my Lady. We live to serve and our place is with you." replied Darlton.
"Darlton, you were taken too soon." sighed present Cornelia.
"Do you think Area 11 needs our usual treatment?" asked Cornelia.
"Yes, my Lady." answered Darlton.
"Good." replied Cornelia satisfied.
The communication ended.
"I'll drive you into the open Zero. Clovis will be avenged." vowed Cornelia.
"Feisty." cooed Llyod.
"Lloyd!" exclaimed Cecile scandalized.
The title "The Princess and the Witch" came up.
"I know who the witch is." grumbled Kallen.
Lelouch returned home after being rejected by Suzaku.
"Welcome home, Lelouch." said C.C.
Lelouch froze in shock.
"I'm so glad you were home, I was worried." said Nunnally.
"It seems you ate out tonight, judging by your appearance." continued C.C.
"Bitch." spat Tamaki.
"Thank goodness. I thought maybe you'd been caught up in all the uproar by caused by the man Zero." continued Nunnally.
"You're such a good sister. Worrying about him." whispered Milly.
"What was C.C. like?" asked Gino curious.
"She was a bitch!" declared Tamaki.
"For once, I have to agree with him." huffed Kallen.
"Your friend goes by such an unusual name, only her initials." said Nunnally.
"Pizza Girl is more fitting." muttered Kallen.
"I was just wondering, is C.C. your girlfriend?" asked Nunnally.
"She was his mistress." said Tamaki.
Kallen cringed at this.
"He made a promise about our future together." answered C.C.
"What?!" asked Rivalz.
"A future together? You mean marriage?" asked Nunnally.
"How did he get all the luck." groaned Rivalz.
"They weren't dating!" cried Kallen blushing.
"She's kidding around." said Lelouch.
"No, I'm not." replied C.C. bluntly.
"I like her." said Milly smiling.
"You're certainly doing this sooner than most." said Nunnally.
"You were really encouraging this with someone you don't know?" asked Cornelia surprised.
"I just wanted Lelouch to be happy." answered present Nunnally.
Lelouch dropped a cup causing it to break.
"Oh, C.C. Look at what you've done. You're soaking wet." said Lelouch.
"I can't believe you took advantage of my blindness." said present Nunnally disappointed.
Lelouch dragged C.C. away.
"Did anyone else see the red mark on C.C.'s forehead?" asked Kaguya.
"And she was kidding before. Kidding. Just a dumb joke. That's all." said Lelouch.
Lelouch dragged C.C. to his room.
"Who are you?" asked Lelouch.
"She said my name. I'm C.C." answered C.C.
"I hate her so much." grumbled Tamaki.
"What aren't you..." began Lelouch.
"Supposed to be dead?" asked C.C.
"I'd be freaking out." confessed Gino.
"So, do you like the power I gave you?" asked C.C.
"As I thought, it was you." replied Lelouch.
"Who else could it have been?" asked Cornelia.
"Dissatisfied?" asked C.C., sitting on Lelouch's bed.
"On the contrary, I'm grateful. It allows me to speed up my schedule immensely." answered Lelouch.
"I wonder how long he was planning this for." mused Milly.
"Your schedule?" asked C.C.
"Yes. My schedule for obliterating Britannia." answered Lelouch.
"Yet you became Emperor." noted Chiba angrily.
"You believe you can destroy it using that power?" asked C.C.
"I intended to do it without this power." answered Lelouch.
"I just knew that he'd turn out to be a fascinating guy." stated C.C.
"Is that why she was stalking him seven years ago?" asked Villetta.
"I'm sure the military is after you." said Lelouch.
"Not the entire military, only a small faction of it." revealed C.C.
"We knew nothing of her." noted Jeremiah.
Suddenly, C.C. began to undress.
"What the hell?!" asked Kallen blushing.
"I don't want to see this." said Nunnally embarrassed.
"I told you they were fucking!" declared Tamaki.
"A gentleman would sleep on the floor." said C.C.
"Don't joke around." replied Lelouch sternly.
"My being caught would trouble for you too." said C.C.
Lelouch got onto the bed and leaned over C.C.
"This is odd foreplay." joked Lloyd.
Xingke prepared to cover Tianzi's eyes.
"I hate stubbornness." stated C.C.
"You sure take things casually, don't you? How did you manage to survive before this? What did you do before this?" asked Lelouch.
"All good questions." said Cornelia.
"Good night Lelouch." said C.C. firmly.
"I definitely like that." said Milly.
The scene cut to the next morning with Lloyd and Cecile looking at a laptop.
"Fukushima, Kouchi, Hiroshima. This has been the seventh occurrence since that man Zero raised his head."
"Zero really did throw everything upside down." mushed Rakshata.
"And now, suspicious about that "Orange" thing has cost Margrave Jeremiah his command." noted Cecile.
"Maybe he wasn't good enough." replied Lloyd.
"What was that?" asked Jeremiah annoyed.
"You're position in power was short lived." answered Lloyd.
The scene had cut to the JLF.
"Zero has thrown Britannia into chaos. Now is time for us in the Japan Liberation Front to make our stand." said Kusakabe.
"Calm down. The information of Kyoto giving the Guren Mk-II to Zero hasn't been confirmed." replied Tohdoh.
"We hadn't given it to Zero yet." revealed Kaguya.
"If we pay too much attention to Zero we may trip ourselves up." added Tohdoh.
"Wise." shrugged Cornelia.
The scene cut to Lelouch searching Suzaku's name on Biglobe.
"So, what did "Orange" turn out to be, anyway?" asked C.C.
The scene showed C.C. only wearing one of Lelouch's shirts.
"Oh, come on!" cried Kallen flustered.
"You know for someone who isn't willing to answer any questions, you certainly do ask a lot of them." noted Lelouch.
"If you don't want to answer my questions, you don't have to. Just as I don't." said C.C.
"Touche." chuckled Lloyd.
"There is no Orange. It's something I made up." answered Lelouch.
"Told you." stated Anya.
"The more they claim to comrades of like-mind, the easily it is to divide them with thorns of suspicion." added Lelouch.
"So much for loyalty." mused Gino.
C.C. looked over magazines talking about the debut of Zero.
"Everyone on earth is looking for you. Because of you, the world is going into upheaval. So, is this it? Is that want you wanted to see?" asked C.C.
"No. This uproar's simple a means to an end." answered Lelouch.
"Becoming the Demon Emperor." huffed Chiba.
A voice was heard revealing Suzaku was no longer a suspect in the murder of Prince Clovis. It then showed Suzaku walking.
"What happened? I'm free." asked Suzaku confused.
"The real killer came forward. You were there." noted Kallen annoyed.
"Out of the way please! Look out below!" cried a female voice.
Suzaku dropped his bag and caught Euphemia who had jumped out a window.
"Princess Massacre!" spat Tamaki.
"She was under the power of Geass!" snapped Cornelia offended.
Nearby, Nina was watching intently.
"Uh, are you alright?" asked Suzaku surprised.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't aware you were down here until I leaped." replied Euphemia.
"Why did she jump in the first place?" asked Rivalz confused.
"I wasn't expecting a girl to come falling out of the sky and into my arms, either." answered Suzaku.
"Princess." said Nina longingly.
"Is something wrong?" asked Suzaku.
Euphemia took a moment.
"Yes! There is something wrong." answered Euphemia smiling.
"Why is she so happy?" asked Sugiyama confused.
"The truth is bad guys are chasing me. So, considering the circumstances, could you help me please?" requested Euphemia.
"And our Romeo and Juliet met." mused Lloyd.
The scene cut to the Pure Bloods.
"We must get rid of this "Orange" character before Princess Cornelia assumes her post." said Kewell.
Jeremiah winced at this.
"Now the loyalty of us Pure Bloods is being called into question." noted a Pure Blood.
"Are the reports we've being hearing true? Lore Jeremiah was bribed?" asked another Pure Blood.
"How dare they!" exclaimed Jeremiah angrily.
"Do you know what this "Orange" means?" asked Kewell.
"It is my loyalty." answered Jeremiah proudly.
"In any case, Lord Jeremiah is definitely hiding something. Saying he can't recall anything." continued Kewell.
"It's okay Jerry." whispered Anya reassuringly.
"Lord Jeremiah's memory is muddled. Exactly like those men in Shinjuku whose Sutherlands were stolen." noted Villetta.
Villetta suddenly had a vague flashback of Lelouch.
"Coach, you didn't hurt Lelouch, right?" asked Rivalz worried.
The scene cut back to Suzaku and Euphemia.
"We haven't introduced ourselves, have we. My name is..." began Euphemia.
Euphemia thought for a moment.
"Euphie." said Euphemia.
"That took a lot of effort." scoffed Tamaki sarcastically.
"Watch your tongue." warned Cornelia sternly.
"My name's..." began Suzaku.
"Don't tell me. 'Cause I already know." said Euphemia.
"After what happened, that is no surprise." mused Rakshata.
"Son of Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi, Private Suzaku Kururugi." said Euphemia.
"You lied before, there's no one chasing you at all right." said Suzaku.
"I'm surprised someone as thick headed as him figured that out." said Kallen.
Euphemia had turned her attention to a stray cat.
"That's Arthur!" declared Rivalz.
"Does the kitty's paw hurt?" asked Euphemia.
"She was so compassionate." said Nina blushing.
Euphemia picked up Arthur who promptly bit Suzaku.
"That is enjoyable." said Minami.
"Arthur always did that." laughed Rivalz.
The scene cut to Lloyd and Cecile.
"We're running late. I hope he's still waiting for us." said Lloyd.
"Considering the charge, did they really release him?" asked Cecile surprised.
"With Zero revealing himself as the real culprit, they couldn't have held him." answered Guilford.
"I'm sure they put him through the third degree because of that Zero incident." added Lloyd.
"You mean torture." muttered Milly flatly.
"They likely interrogated him about his relationship with Zero." noted Tohdoh.
Lloyd had noticed Suzaku and Euphemia.
"Lloyd, did you know who the princess was?" asked Nina.
"Indeed. I had no idea why she was with Suzaku." answered Lloyd.
Suzaku and Euphemia sat down and Euphemia bandaged Arthur's leg.
"Do you have trouble with cats?" asked Euphemia.
"I like them fine." answered Suzaku.
Suzaku reached out, but Arthur hissed at him.
"Good cat." said Chiba smirking.
"The attraction isn't mutual." noted Suzaku.
"I think unrequited love is the mark of a kind person." said Euphemia.
"That doesn't make sense." said Gino confused.
"I have to agree with her." said Kaguya.
Arthur suddenly ran off.
"Arthur never liked Suzaku." noted Ayna stoically as ever.
"Kitty ran away." said Euphemia disappointed.
"No shit." muttered Tamaki.
Tamaki immediately noticed the death eye Cornelia was giving him.
"Euphie, why did you tell me that lie when we first met?" asked Suzaku.
"A valid question." noted Xingke.
"Do you ask me because you're concerned about me?" asked Euphemia.
"Um...of course." answered Suzaku.
"Good! Then you can accompany some more." said Euphemia.
"She didn't answer his question." said Oghi surprised.
"She lied to hide her identity." stated Villetta.
"Oh. Yeah." replied Oghi embarrassed.
"This is the guy leading Japan." muttered Guilford.
A montage followed with the two talking.
"Did Princess Euphemia come to Area...Japan because you were, Princess Cornelia?" asked Nina.
"I wanted to keep an eye on my little sister." answered Cornelia, a bit embarrassed by confessing this.
"I think that's nice." said Tianzi.
"Today is the last day of my vacation. I wanted to see as much of Area 11 as I could because I'd like to know what kind of place it is." explained Euphemia.
"Wise considering her position as Sub-Viceroy." mused Tohdoh.
"I'm glad I could see it with you." said Euphemia.
"Aw." cooed Milly.
"Suzaku, would you mind taking me to one more place, please." requested Euphemia.
"Your wish is my command, my Lady." said Suzaku.
"Oh God." groaned Kallen.
"Where to?" asked Suzaku.
"Take me to Shinjuku." answered Euphemia.
"What did she say?!" asked Cornelia horrified.
"Suzaku Kururugi, take me there." requested Euphemia firmly.
"Oh God." whispered Nina.
"It's okay." whispered Milly reassuringly.
The scene cut to Lelouch looking up information on Suzaku on a laptop outside.
"Lelouch?" asked Kallen.
"I remember this, but I don't get why it's here." noted present Kallen.
"Do you have a minute?" asked Kallen.
"What is it?" asked Lelouch.
"About that phone call the other day." began Kallen.
"Phone call." repeated Lelouch confused.
"Yeah, you know, when you and I were in the bathroom." said Kallen.
"How could forget that?" asked Gino smirking.
Kallen shot Gino a dirty look.
"Can you find out who the caller ID was. I want to contact that person again." requested Kallen.
"It was a school phone, so I'm not sure such..." began Lelouch.
Lelouch was horrified to see C.C. wearing his clothes and hanging around outside.
"I should have figured." sighed present Kallen annoyed.
"I see. Makes sense. I should have known." replied Kallen.
"This wasn't the only time C.C. did something stupid like this." noted present Kallen.
Kallen noticed Lelouch looking at something.
"What? Is there something wrong?" asked Kallen.
Kallen turned her head but, Lelouch grabbed her and pulled her face close to his.
"That bastard!" cried Oghi.
Shirley had seen them from a window.
"Oh, poor girl." giggled Milly.
C.C. noticed Lelouch and departed.
"Excuse me. What are you doing?" asked Kallen.
"Ah...what indeed." answered Lelouch.
"I'm so glad that witch is gone." grumbled present Kallen.
The scene cut to a plane bringing Bartley back to Britannia as a prisoner.
"To think I'd return to the homeland like this. I wish I'd never involved that damn girl." thought Bartley mournfully.
"I do hope they tell us what they were doing." said Rakshata.
Lelouch had dragged C.C. a building rooftop.
"Are you insane? You can't go walking around." said Lelouch.
"Don't act strict with me." replied C.C.
"Was she always like that?" asked Rivalz.
"Yup." answered Kallen annoyed.
"You don't belong." stated Lelouch.
"That's harsh." said Nunnally upset.
"I don't belong anywhere." said C.C.
"That's so sad." said Tianzi.
"What's with her?" asked C.C.
"Oh, is she doing it again?" asked Lelouch.
"She is going to be marking that wall every day, because I used my Geass on her to make her do it." explained Lelouch.
"He's treating people like guinea pigs!" cried Chiba disgusted.
"I'll find her and free her from her command." offered Jeremiah.
"You're testing how long it lasts?" asked C.C.
"I need to know the specs of my weapon, don't I?" asked Lelouch.
People cringed at how casual Lelouch was toying with someone's life.
"So, behave or I'll try it on you." warned Lelouch.
"Would it work...on me?" asked C.C.
"Would Geass work on C.C.?" asked Xianglin.
"I'm not sure." answered Kallen.
"Oh relax, you and are I in this together. I won't do anything to endanger us or our unique relationship." said C.C.
"What was their relationship?" asked Kallen worried.
The scene cut to the Shinjuku Ghetto.
"Shinjuku Ghetto, ruined again. The residents were starting to return too." said Suzaku sadly.
Milly noticed Nina was shaking.
"It'll be okay." whispered Milly.
"Hey look! These are marks of Hummer Rounds. Get a clean shot." said an Ashford student.
Two students were taking pictures and acting like tourists.
"These pricks." grumbled Tamaki.
"I know those guys. They were total jerks. I think they were members of the Student Self-Defense Force." said Rivalz disapproving.
The scene cut to a Sutherland racing down the streets.
"Is this accurate? This information about Zero?" asked Jeremiah eagerly.
"Yes sir. Lord Kewell contacted me." answered a Pure Blood, in a communication center.
"Right. Set up a cordon around Shinjuku Ghetto Sector 4 at once." ordered Jeremiah.
"Those damn traitors." fumed present Jeremiah.
"Okay, balls in your corner Lord Kewell." said the Pure Blood.
A sword came down and Villetta was revealed to be behind them.
"I wanted to be put through to Lord Jeremiah. But it appears you're too busy now." said Villetta.
"The day I lost respect for Kewell." sighed Villetta.
The scene cut back to Shinjuku where the student's camera was tossed to the ground.
"Get out of here, you damn Britannian bastards!" snapped Tamaki.
Tamaki was joined by Yoshida and Minami.
"Stay here." said Suzaku.
Suzaku raced to the scene.
"We should have kicked their asses." said Minami.
"I'm Japanese!" declared Tamaki.
"Wrong. You people seem to think you lost. you're nothing but a beaten dog!" declared a student.
"I should have kicked their asses." said present Tamaki angrily.
Suzaku reached the scene.
"Stop! Please no violence!" cried Suzaku.
"Stay out of it!" cried Tamaki.
Tamaki backhanded Suzaku knocking his sunglasses off revealing his identity.
"Speaking of people we should have beaten on the spot." spat present Minami.
"Are you Suzaku Kururugi?" asked Tamaki.
I would have been a hero if I killed him there." huffed present Tamaki.
"Like you could have." replied Sugiyama snickering.
"This guy is nothing more than a slave. Big deal. You're an Honorary Britannian. Nobody cares. You sold your pride, your people, yourself and yet you call yourself Japanese?!" ranted Tamaki angrily.
"For once, I have to agree with Tamaki." noted Kallen surprised.
"You stinking Britannian lapdog!" cried Tamaki.
Tamaki threw a punch, but Suzaku flipped him over head.
"Told you." said Sugiyama smiling.
"Stop, please!" demanded Suzaku.
Tamaki got back up.
"I'm warning you, I've been trained for military combat. Don't make me fight my own people." said Suzaku.
"Like hell we're your people!" cried Tamaki.
"He stopped being Japanese when he became a Britannian slave." spat Chiba.
"Lousy traitor." spat Tamaki, as the left.
"Suzaku did not mention his training under me." noted Tohdoh disappointed.
"Suzaku. Are you alright?" asked Euphemia, reaching Suzaku.
"Yeah, I'm alright." answered Suzaku.
"You were so caring Euphie." thought Zero warmly.
The Britannian student was complaining about his camera.
"Why did you wait? Damn it, some honorary citizen you are." said the second student.
"Most students at Ashford aren't like this." said Milly.
"Why'd you let them go?! You should have killed them. What's a few dead Elevens to a guy like you?!" said the student angrily.
"Bastards." seethed Kallen.
Suddenly, Euphemia slapped the student.
"Go princess!" cried Milly happily.
"I'll not allow you to insult this man any longer you oaf." said Euphemia.
Suzaku felt tears in his eyes and was glad the Zero mask covered it.
"Why would two students go to Shinjuku anyway?" asked Rivalz.
"It's in the past. he can't hurt you again." whispered Nina.
The scene cut to Lelouch explaining his Geass while C.C. put her jacket back on.
"Does she have to change in front oh him?" asked Kallen blushing.
"In the short time, you've learned a lot." noted C.C.
"My enemy is an empire that controls a third of the entire world. There's no such thing as being too careful." replied Lelouch.
"I can't blame him for that." shrugged Cornelia.
Lelouch was watching Nunnally from outside his bedroom window.
"This opponent may be too large and strong to fight with only Geass for a weapon." said C.C.
"Is it good to be strong?" asked Lelouch.
"Is it bad to be weak?" asked Suzaku.
"Of course." spat Tamaki.
"Back then when I was ten, the world seemed like such a terribly sad place. A world without any hope at all." continued Suzaku.
"What's this crap?" asked Tamaki.
"I'm confused." said Tianzi.
"They're having a philosophical debate." explained Kaguya.
"They seem to be of similar mind." noted Anya.
"That's because they're were working together." said China, matter of fact.
"But, we haven't seen anything to prove that." countered Sayoko.
"Rats running in a wheel." said Lelouch.
"The cycle must be broken." stated Suzaku.
"What a joke." scoffed Minami.
"How idealistic." mused C.C.
"Of course, it's doubtful if the one who does it will make all the bad things go away." said Suzaku.
"And rule the world." muttered Gino hurt.
"I'm not that arrogant." said Lelouch.
"That's a lie." huffed Cornelia.
"No one should lose more of the people they love. At least, a world without war." continued Suzaku.
"By enslaving the world." said Xingke.
Cornelia now winced.
"That was Schenizel's plan." thought Cornelia.
"And to have this utopia, you'd..." began C.C.
"How would you do it?" asked Euphemia.
Lelouch used a Knight to knock down a King on his chessboard.
"It's simple. When somebody wins, the fighting ends." answered Lelouch.
"By ruling the world." said Guilford bitterly.
"I don't know how you would do it." began Suzkau.
Suzaku looked at his father's watch.
"But if I stop trying, then my father's death will have been in vain." concluded Suzaku.
Present Suzaku winced under his Zero helmet.
"My own father, because he had to sacrifice his life in that war." said Suzaku.
"Father..." began present Suzaku.
Suddenly, they heard a noise. The scene cut to an abandoned stadium.
"Jeremiah, you are going to pay for letting Prince Clovis's murder go free." said Kewell.
"What's going on?" asked Rivalz.
"The Pure Bloods planned to kill me and blame it on terrorists." answered Jeremiah.
"We have to wipe away our disgrace before Princess Cornelia takes up her post here." said Kewell.
"If the Pure Bloods believed I would have gone after them as well they were mistaken." noted Cornelia annoyed.
Lloyd and Cecile pulled up to Suzaku and Euphemia.
"It's dangerous out here! Get in!" ordered Cecile worried.
"It seems the Pure Bloods are having a silly squabble." explained Lloyd.
"How did you know that?" asked Nina.
"It wasn't hard to figure out." answered Lloyd.
"Isn't this an opportunity to gather battle data for the Lancelot?" asked Suzaku.
"See, the bastard didn't give a damn about Jeremiah!" spat Tamaki.
"I do not believe that was the case." replied Jeremiah.
"It's odd, Suzaku dislikes war yet he's a soldier." mused Gino.
"I'm sorry, Euphie. We have to say goodbye here. I need to do this. I think I can try to stop them with the Lancelot. I have to try." said Suzaku.
"Suzaku always threw himself at danger." stated Anya.
The scene cut to the battle between Jeremiah and the Pure Bloods.
"Damn, it's four against one." noted Jeremiah.
"Kewell, your stabbed me in the back after all we'd been through." seethed Jeremiah.
"Don't worry Jeremiah. We'll say you died in battle. Your family name won't be disgraced." said Kewell.
"Well, I must admit that would have protected Lilycia at least." sighed Jeremiah.
"Who?" asked Gino confused.
"His sister." answered Villetta.
"I met her at Christmas." revealed Anya.
"She is a very nice woman." added Sayoko.
"We serve the Imperial family." stated Kewell.
"Would father have approved of their actions?" asked Nunnally.
"Yes." answered Cornelia sadly.
The Pure Bloods charged Jeremiah from all sides, but a Slash Harken hit the ground in front of Kewell. It was revealed to be Suzaku.
"Stop it! Your all Britannian soldiers!" declared Suzaku.
"Did you thank Suzaku for saving you Jerry?" asked Anya.
"I did when he was the Knight of Zero." answered Jeremiah.
Jeremiah and Zero shared a knowing glance.
"What business does the Special Corps want here? Interlopers will be killed!" declared Kewell.
Lancelot pulled out his Maser Vibrations Swords.
"Look what I beat Rakshata too." mused Lloyd.
"Too late, I won't back down." vowed Kewell.
"We're on the same side!" declared Suzaku, jumping into the fray.
"Suzaku Kururugi...is saving me." said Jeremiah amazed.
"Suzaku always wanted to help people." noted Rivalz.
"Yeah, help Lelouch became Emperor." replied Oghi angrily.
"I do wish I could have thanks Suzaku." confessed Jeremiah.
Jeremiah looked at Zero who subtly nodded.
"We can at least kill Orange!" declared Kewell.
Kewell attacked only for another Knightmare to stop him.
"Lord Jeremiah!" cried Villetta.
"Villetta. Thanks." said Jeremiah.
"I want to once again thank you. I might not be here if not for your assistance." said Jeremiah.
"It's fine. I was more disappointed in Kewell more than anything." sighed Villetta.
"Still want to fight?" asked Suzaku.
The scene cut to Euphemia running into the battlefield.
"What is she doing?!" asked Cornelia horrified.
"Trying to stop the battle." answered Lloyd obviously.
Cornelia shot the scientist a glare.
"Men, stand down." said Kewell.
"Kewell" cried out Villettta.
"You understand." said Suzaku relieved.
Zero winced at how naïve he had been.
"I'm using a chaos mine." revealed Kewell.
Kewell puled out a chaos grenade.
Euphemia ran onto the battlefield.
"No, stop it now!" cried Euphemia.
Kewell threw the grenade.
"Euphie!" cried Cornelia horrified.
"Sister!" cried Nunnally horrified.
"Princess!" cried Nina horrified.
Luckily, Suzaku managed to shield Euphemia from the grenade.
"That Honorary Britannian, he risked his life for..." began Villetta.
"Chigusa, you knew who it was?" asked Oghi surprised.
"We Princess Euphemia while training in the homeland." answered Villetta.
"You recognized her Jerry." noted Anya.
"I recognized her from my time as a royal guard." noted Jeremiah.
"Everyone, lower your weapons, in my name." ordered Euphemia.
"It...can't be." said Kewell stunned.
"I am Euphemia li Britannia of the Empire. And the third princess of the royal family." continued Euphemia.
"Dumbass almost killed his own princess!" laughed Tamaki.
"Ah! Euphie." gasped Suzaku in surprise.
"Imagine the shock of finding out you were spending the day with royalty." mused Lloyd.
"I'm assuming command here. Fall back." ordered Euphemia sternly.
"Damn, she's really taking change." said Kallen.
"She was a member of the Imperial Family. It probably comes naturally." shrugged Gino.
"It is her, the princess." said Jeremiah stunned.
"Did you know it was her, Lloyd?" asked Cecile.
"Uh-huh, but she's been a student up until now and hasn't made her public debut yet." answered Lloyd.
"And you didn't think t was pertinent for Suzaku to know he was in the presence of a princess." grumbled Cornelia.
"He was going to find out one way or another." replied Lloyd nonchalantly.
"We, we're truly..." began Kewell, horrified by what could have been.
The Purist rebels genuflected their Knightmares.
"We're truly sorry your highness!" declared the Purists.
"Not so high and mighty now!" laughed Tamaki.
Suzaku exited the Lancelot.
"My Lady!" called Suzaku.
"Ah." replied Euphemia.
"I had no idea who you were. Please forgive me, princess." requested Suzaku.
"Damn traitor!" spat Minami with disdain.
"Sucking up to those who oppressed his own people." added Sugiyama angrily.
Euphemia turned to look back at Suzaku.
"Suzaku, you and I bear a similar deep pain. You have lost your father as I have lost my brother." noted Euphemia.
"But, you didn't murder Clovis." thought Zero.
Euphemia turned to face Suzaku.
"Will you let me help you in your quest to ensure that no ever again has to suffer the lose of a loved one on the battlefield." requested Euphemia.
"Euphie, you were also so compassionate toward other." whispered Nunnally, with a faint smile.
"Yes, I am worthy of your kindess." replied Suzaku kneeling.
"He's doing it again! I swear the guy has no balls!" cried Tamaki.
"You should know that respect is a core value of Japanese culture." noted Kaguya, a bit annoyed.
"Kururugi was a traitor to his homeland and Brittania. He only respected himself!" declared Chiba angrily.
The scene cut to that night with the arrival of Cornelia.
"I heard what you did Euphemia. You shouldn't be so reckless." said Cornelia.
"She probably save Jeremiah's life." noted Rivalz surprised.
"And it almost got her killed." replied Anya.
"I know sister. Forgive me. But..." began Euphemia.
"You will address me as Viceroy here, Sub-Viceroy Euphemia." said Cornelia, cutting her off.
"That's kind of cold." mused Oghi surprised.
"Because we're sister, we need to follow a stricter protocol." explained Cornelia.
"Still, she is your sister." muttered Oghi.
"Yes. I understand." replied Euphemia.
Cornelia next turned her attention to one of the colonial government members.
"Now then, give me your report." ordered Cornelia.
"The first order of business is a welcome part we've arranged for your Highness..." began the man.
Cornelia suddenly aimed a gun at the subordinate.
"Oh damn!" cried Tamaki in surprise.
"Sloppy, senile, corrupt." spat Cornelia disgusted.
Guilford could not help but smile as his Princess.
"Where is Zero? I want the enemy of the Empire caught! Get Zero!" cried Cornelia passionately.
The scene then cut to Lelouch at Ashford.
"There he is." noted Lloyd.
"I'll be joining the student body here at Ashford Academy beginning today. My name is Suzaku Kururugi. It's a pleasure to meet you." said Suzaku formally.
"And so begins Suzuku's time at school." mused Lloyd.
"This is likely where he allied with Lelouch." stated Tohdoh.
"I didn't see them interact." noted Rivalz.
"Yeah, they mostly barely talked to each other." added Kallen.
"You weren't always around." noted Xianglin.
"Kururugigot more out of being a soldier than he did going to school." shrugged Cornelia.
"Education is vital." replied Nina meekly.
"I won't deny education is important." conceded Cornelia.
"Damn, harsh there with your lackey." said Tamaki.
"The terrorist who murdered my half-brother was still free. Finding him was all that was important." explained Cornelia bluntly.
"Nothing wrong with trying to forget your troubles for a bit." shrugged Rivalz.
"You don't understand." grumbled Cornelia.
Guilford leaned over to the former royal.
"Is the presence of Euphemia making you uncomfortable?" asked Guilford in a whisper.
The former Second Princess took a moment as if she needed to find the answer herself.
"I'll be okay." answered Cornelia flatly.
Nearby, the same conversation was unfolding.
"Nina, how are you doing?" asked Cecile concerned.
"Seeing Princess Euphemia again brought back a flood of emotions I thought I had gotten over." answered Nina emotionally.
"When...that comes up, you can leave if you're unable to handle it." said Cecile.
"No. I owe it to Princess Euphemia to see this through." replied Nina determined.
"I wonder how Suzaku would react." mused Lloyd, as he eyed Zero.
Under his mask, Suzaku held back tears.
"Lloyd, behave." said Cecile firmly.
"I don't know why you're all getting upset over Princess Massacre." huffed Tamaki.
"What did you say?" asked Cornelia, gritting her teeth in anger.
"Tamaki, it was Geass that forced her to do it." said Oghi quickly.
"We'll see. Geass sure didn't force Britannia to do all the other shit it did to Japan." huffed Tamaki.
"I can't disagree." muttered Chiba.
Sensing trouble, Tohdoh decided to change the subject.
"Let's not forget, this is also when C.C. became an accomplice of Lelouch." noted the Japanese general.
"What was up with her?" asked Rivalz.
"She was an enigmatic person." answered Kaguya.
"No. She was a pain in the ass." grumbled Kallen.
"Yeah! Screw that bitch!" snapped Tamaki.
"Watch your language." warned Xingke.
"Well it sure looks like Lelouch was shacking up with her." mused Gino.
"Oh yeah, she was his side piece." replied Tamaki.
"No they weren't!" cried Kallen blushing.
A photo suddenly snapped
"Blushing." noted Anya.
"A bit of jealousy." mused Milly.
"Of course not." huffed Kallen flustered.
Seeing Kallen flustered, not it was Oghi who decided to change the subject.
"Well Chigusa, I'm just glad you're not in the Purist Faction anymore." stated Oghi.
"Escaping that echo chamber was the best thing that could have happened to me." replied Villetta .
"Aw." cooed Tianzi.
Sayoko leaned over to Jeremiah.
"Do you feel the same?" asked the ninja maid curiously.
"Indeed. The downfall of the Purist Faction set me on the path of loyalty to Emperor Lelouch." answered Jeremiah.
Suddenly, Rakshata took a long puff off her pipe.
"It seems Lelouch and Suzaku had the same goals only with different methods of achieving it." noted Rakshata.
"If their methods were so different, they wouldn't have worked together." spat Oghi.
"Suzaku wasn't being dishonest. He truly believed what he said." stated Cecile.
"Yeah right." scoffed Minami.
"Suzaku refused to ally with Zero after Zero saved his life." said Nina meekly.
"That's because he didn't know who it was." replied Sugiyama.
"Once Suzaku finds out how Zero is, I'm sure that is where their alliance will begin." said Chiba.
"There is one way to find out: keep watching." said Nunnally.
A/N: That's where we'll end things. I hope wasn't too rusty. The Student Self-Defense Force is from the manga, but I see no harm in adding it here. I am working on the next chapter. Next time, the events of "The Stolen Mask" are covered.
