Attention all readers-Here is the Johto region. I'm going on record to say that I'm working hard on the Johto region, and I've only seen certain clips online for certain episodes. In the original airing of Pokemon and its entire running of Ash and Pikachu's journey, I know that Ash doesn't have a sibling. Like the other Pokemon Fanfiction that I have uploaded so far, in my version (as well as others that I have read), Ash has a sibling.
Also, Jordan will do the current count for the number of times Team Rocket tried to take Pikachu and Meeko away from her and Ash, that includes the banned and not aired in the United States episodes. I don't want to make those episodes feel left out. I hope that you will like it and Happy Reading!

Guest-I know. I'm still going to write the chapters and everything for the show, I'm just going to take longer in posting them. Those particular readers don't understand that, I'm not comfortable writing the movies at this time. Did I say I was going to write the franchise? Yes, I admit that. Truth of the matter is, they're expecting me to write the movies along with whatever region I'm writing at that time as well. Those readers need to realize that what if the roles were reversed. What if they were writing the entire franchise and I was the guest reader who kept asking them when they were going to do the movies? I don't want to put them under that kind of pressure. They need to start taking the hint that right now, my focus is on the show and not on the movies. Will I write the movies? Yes, I will when I'm ready and on my own timetable.
Narrator: Today our heroes Ash, Jordan, Misty and Brock are taking the high road the Violet City and the first Johto League Gym.
Jordan: And we're taking forever to get there.
Meeko: Olu!
"Boy, it sure is freezing up here!" said Brock.
"Oh, look, there's even snow on that mountain." said Misty.
"That's cool." said Ash. "It must be just like winter over there!"
"Pika, Pika." said Pikachu, nodding in agreement.
"Pretty." said Jordan.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Why don't we go and see if we can ski?" asked Ash.
"That's a great idea!" said Brock.
"Huh?" said Misty.
"I can see myself now, spending all morning on the slopes and all afternoon at the lodge." said Brock, daydreaming about the giggling girls at the lodge. "I think I may have just hit on the perfect sport for me. Downhill skiing."
"Oh, boy, I think your brain's going downhill." said Misty.
"Toge, Toge, Priii!" said Togepi.
"Forget skiing." said Ash.
"Huh?"
"I found something that's even better." Ash tells them. "Just take a look over there."
"Huh?" Ash points to what seemed to be an injured Chikorita, laying in the sun.
"It's a Chikorita." said Ash.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"It's so cute." said Misty.
"Looks like it's sunbathing." said Brock.
"Cool." said Jordan.
"Riolu." added Meeko. Misty sniffs something in the air.
"I smell something sweet." she said.
"Yeah. That's the scent that comes of the Chikorita's petals." said Ash.
"It's a little like the way Casey's Chikorita smelled, remember?" asked Brock.
[Flashback]
"One, two, three strikes. They're out!" said Casey as Chikorita spins its leaf around. "The side is retiring, Chikorita wins the game!"
"Chika!" said Chikorita.
"Rattata!"
"Tackle Attack now." said Casey.
"Chika!" shouted Chikorita, tackling Rattata, who then dodges.
"Go!" shouted Casey.
"Chika!" Chikorita shouted again as it finally tackles Rattata, knocking it out for Casey to catch.
[Flashback ends]
"Think it's a wild Chikorita?" asked Misty.
"Yeah, probably." said Ash, taking out Dexter.
"Chikorita, the Leaf Pokémon. Chikorita emit pleasant aromas from the leaves on their heads, and they love to sunbathe." said Dexter.
"Who's turn is it to get the next Pokémon?" Ash asked Jordan.
"Yours. Because I'm hoping that my next one is a Pokémon egg." she tells him.
"Okay. I'm gonna catch this one!" said Ash, then runs towards Chikorita.
Chikorita opens its eyes and stares at Ash. "Chiko!" said Chikorita, alert, angry and ready to fight Ash.
"If this Chikorita belongs to anybody, tell me now!" Ash called out to anyone in hearing distance, causing Pikachu, Jordan, Meeko, Misty and Brock to groan. "If you don't, I'm gonna capture it."
"Chiko!" it said, surprised by him.
"Don't say I didn't give you a fair warning!" said Ash.
"You better keep it down, Ash or you're gonna scare Chikorita away." said Misty.
"Chika!" said Chikorita as it swings its leaf around, preparing for an attack.
"It's not scaring so easy." said Brock, pointing to Chikorita.
"Huh?"
"Looks like it's going to attack." said Jordan.
"This one looks like a pretty tough cookie." said Brock.
"Chika!" said Chikorita, still swinging its leaf.
"It's not backing down a bit." said Misty.
"It's standing its ground." said Jordan. "I like that in a Pokémon."
"Riolu." said Meeko, nodding in agreement.
"I told you it was tough." said Brock.
"I thought Chikorita were supposed to be sweet." said Misty.
"If you ask me, there's nothing sweeter than capturing a tough one." said Ash. "I choose you, Bulbasaur!"
"Bulbasaur!" shouted Bulbasaur.
"Don't let this one fool you, it looks nasty!" said Ash.
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur said to Ash.
"Chika!" shouted Chikorita, using Tackle on Bulbasaur.
"Go, Bulbasaur, grab it with Vine Whip!" said Ash.
"Bulbasaur!" shouted Bulbasaur, using its Vine Whip to grab Chikorita, knocking it back.
Chikorita then swings its leaf around, using another attack. "It's using Razor Leaf!" said Brock.
"It's not gonna beast Bulbasaur that way!" said Ash.
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur said, using a slightly stronger Razor Leaf as well. "Bulba!"
"Bulbasaur sure seems confident." said Misty.
"Maybe a little too confident." added Brock.
"Are the two of you doubting Bulbasaur?" asked Jordan.
"Olu?" asked Meeko.
"No." they answered.
"Then have some faith in Bulbasaur." said Jordan. "It might take down Chikorita."
"Bulbasaur, use Tackle Attack!" said Ash.
"Bulbasaur!"
"Chiko!"
Bulbasaur tackles Chikorita, who cried out in pain. "Chiko!"
"Okay, Chikorita, now I'm gonna capture you." said Ash, throwing a Pokéball.
"Chika!" it said, hitting the Pokéball back at Ash with its leaf.
"Huh? It's tougher than I thought." said Ash.
"Chika!" said Chikorita, using Vine Whip.
"Hey, look out!" Ash called out to Bulbasaur as Chikorita's Vine Whip hits it in the head.
"Bulba!"
"Oh!"
"Saur! Bulbasaur, saur…" said Bulbasaur, grabbing its hurt head.
"Oh, Bulbasaur!" said Jordan, taking her brother's Pokémon into her arms.
"Riolu." said Meeko, concerned as she takes a closer look at its head.
"Bad break, that Chikorita's good." said Brock.
"I have to admit, Chikorita's a great competitor and it's really cute." added Misty.
"You did a nice job, now you deserve a rest." Ash said to Bulbasaur, recalling Bulbasaur back into its Pokéball.
"Chik…" said Chikorita, glaring at Ash.
"You may have gotten lucky against Bulbasaur, but your lucks about to run out, Chikorita." said Ash. "I choose you! Charizard!"
"Char!" roared Charizard.
"Chika! Chikorita!" said Chikorita, fearfully as Charizard landed in front of it.
Charizard smiled smugly at Chikorita, thinking it was Casey's Chikorita. "Chiko!" said Chikorita, angrily as it glares at Charizard.
"Let's win this one, Charizard." said Ash and it roared in agreement.
"Chiko, Chiko!" Chikorita said, running towards Charizard. Charizard lifts up its foot and stops Chikorita from tackling it, then gives a bored yawn.
"We're with you on that, Charizard." said Jordan, following a bored yawn.
"Riolu…" said Meeko.
"This one's pretty tricky, Charizard." Ash said. "Use your Flamethrower Attack!"
"Charizard!" roared Charizard, ready to release its Flamethrower on Chikorita
"Chika!" said Chikorita, using its Vine Whip from its neck and grabs Charizard's other foot. Chikorita pulls Charizard from underneath, causing said Fire-Flying Pokémon to fall on its back and use Flamethrower on Ash.
"Hey, don't use it on me!" said Ash.
"Zard!" said Charizard, sitting up, confused by what happened.
"Wow…" said Jordan. "I'm glad that this is not the early days."
"Char." said Charizard, nodding in agreement.
"Chik…or!" said Chikorita, using Razor Leaf on Charizard.
"Burn those leaves with your Flamethrower, Charizard!" said Ash. Charizard goes again with its Flamethrower, firing onto Chikorita's Razor Leaf.
"Chika!" growled Chikorita, knowing that it was at a disadvantage as its Razor Leaf was burnt to a crisp.
"Now, finish it off! Tackle Attack!" shouted Ash.
"Charizard!" roared Charizard, flying towards Chikorita.
"Chika!" shouted Chikorita, using Vine Whip again on Charizard, hitting it in the head.
Ash gasps as Charizard groans in pain while Chikorita smirks. "Wow, what an upset!" said Brock. "Charizard's headed for a fall!"
"Chiko!" said Chikorita, proud of itself as Charizard drags Chikorita with its Vine Whip.
"This looks bad." said Misty.
"Chikorita forgot to let go." said Jordan.
"They're gonna crash into that mountain." said Brock.
Charizard crashes heads first into the mountain while Chikorita crashes its back. "Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he and Meeko ran over.
"Riolu!" shouted Meeko.
"Charizard!" shouted Ash, running over to his Pokémon.
"Char…." Charizard groaned in pain as it sits up.
"Charizard, are you okay?" asked Ash.
"Hey, hey, hey…." said Jordan as she rushes over and holds out her hands. "How much pain?"
Charizard grabs her hands and grips tightly. "Charizard." it tells her.
"Oh it hurts that badly." said Jordan.
"You were great. Return." said Ash as Jordan steps away.
"Chikorita's hurt." said Brock as Chikorita struggled to stand up.
"After all its been through, it still wants to battle?" asked Ash.
"It can hardly stand up." said Misty.
"It's got spunk." said Jordan.
"Just like a younger trainer and her Pokémon Partner that I know." said Brock.
"Riol?" Meeko asked Jordan, who shrugged.
"Chik…or." said Chikorita, dazed as it passes out into the ground. The quartet gasps as Ash picks up Chikorita. "Chiko…."
"It doesn't look good, Ash." said Misty.
"It's used up all its energy. We have to do something fast!" said Brock.
"I think we better take it to the nearest Pokémon center." said Ash. "Come on!"
"Let's go!" said Jordan and they take off.
"Very impressive." said Jessie as she and the boys were not that far behind the quartet, watching the battle. "That little Chikorita put up a great battle against that big gas-bag. You know what I think?"
"Huh?" asked the boys.
"I think that's exactly the kind of toughness we desperately need on Team Rocket." Jessie tells them. "Chikorita's my kind of Pokémon!"
"Unfortunately my kind of Pokémon are Weezing and Victreebel." said James.
"If we can get our hands on that Chikorita, we'll finally have a worthwhile Pokémon on our side." said Jessie.
"Hmm, thanks a lot!" said Meowth, crossing his arms. Chikorita opens its eyes, scared as it looks up at Ash who was carrying it in his arms. "Don't you worry now; we'll take good care of you." said Ash.
"Chiko." said Chikorita, then bites Ash.
"Hey, take it easy, I'm trying to help!" said Ash.
"The only Pokémon we'll accept a bite from is Pikachu and Meeko!" said Jordan as they ran up to the Pokémon center.
Inside, Chikorita was being treated. "How's Chikorita?" asked Ash as Nurse Joy came out.
"Chikorita will be fine." Nurse Joy tells him.
"That's great!" Ash said, smiling.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"But what about that arm of yours?" asked Nurse Joy. "Looks like Chikorita didn't cooperate."
"Uh…oh, I forgot about that." Ash said, looking at his arm.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"I could never forget you; your hands are so small but I'm sure they're also gentle and caring." said Brock.
"Riol?" asked Meeko.
"Uh…." said Nurse Joy.
"Dare I ask? Might these healing hands impart their gentle loving care on my humble Pokémon?" asked Brock.
"Oh, of course, caring for hurt Pokémon is what I do." said Nurse Joy.
"And perhaps, once you've healed them you can also heal my aching…." Brock said when Ash, Misty and Jordan popped up.
"You can check out my Pokémon too, Nurse Joy." said Misty.
"And ours too." said Ash and Jordan.
"I'd love to." said Nurse Joy, stunned by the three younger ones. "Now let's see, who wants to be first?"
"Oh, me, me. Pick me! Pick me first, Nurse Joy…." said Ash, Misty and Jordan as Brock laid on the floor, crying.
"But I was here first." said Brock.
"But you're not standing up, aren't ya?" Jordan asked over her shoulder.
"I've seen lots of Chikorita just like this one." said Nurse Joy as they looked in on Chikorita. "The Chikorita from around here are famous for being stubborn and battling bigger, stronger opponents even when they know they're no way of winning."
"And so they end up here in the Pokémon Center?" asked Misty.
"They just battle until they can't battle anymore." nodded Nurse Joy. "It's really very sad."
"You have to kind of admire its spirit though." said Ash.
Sirens were wailing as an ambulance approaches the Pokémon center. "Okay, stand back!" said James as he and Jessie walked in. "Coming through!"
"This is new." said Jordan.
"Olu!" said Meeko.
"We're here to take this Chikorita to our special intensive emergency care unit!" said James.
"But how did….." Nurse Joy started to ask.
"This is a critical condition!" said Jessie. "We don't have time to explain!"
"Yeah, where's this 'emergency intensive care unit' located?" asked Jordan, using quotes before crossing her arms.
"That's none of your concern." Jessie tells her.
"Huh?" asked Nurse Joy.
"Riol." said Meeko, getting out Jordan's notebook and makes another tally.
"Let's go!" said James as they rolled Chikorita out.
"Excuse me?" asked Nurse Joy. Jessie and James laughed as they rolled Chikorita to their van.
"I havent seen you before. Where are the two of you from?" Nurse Joy asked as they ran after them.
"Huh?" asked Jessie and James.
"We're from the team that causes trouble." said Jessie.
"I hope you're insured because we make it double." said James. They then jumped into the air, taking off their disguise.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Doctor Jessie!"
"Doctor James!"
"Team Rocket Doctors blasts off at the speed of light!" said Jessie.
"Surrender now because we're not making any more house calls!" said James.
"You got that right!" said Meowth.
"Yeah…we're gonna need to see some doctor credentials." said Jordan.
"Hurry up, Weezing! Use Smog attack stat!" said James.
"Weez!" said Weezing, releasing Smog on Nurse Joy and the quartet.
"How is that for First Aid?" asked Jessie as she and James got into the van.
"Okay, Meowth, hit it!" ordered James.
Team Rocket takes off with Chikorita and Weezing covering their tracks. "We can't let them get away with this." said Ash.
"Pika!" Pikachu agreed.
"They will pay!" said Jordan.
"Riol!" added Meeko.
"Ash, Jordan, wait!" said Misty before she coughed even more. Team Rocket was driving up a hill side when Ash and Jordan ran towards them.
"We'll climb over that hill and get ahead of 'em, you three!" said Ash.
"You got it! Pika! Riol!" said Jordan, Pikachu and Meeko.
As Ash and Jordan kept running, Team Rocket were looking over their shoulders. "Do you see any sign of those Twerps or that nurse trailing us, James?" asked Jessie.
"There's no sign of anyone, Jess, we're home free!" said James.
"Team Rocket finally won one!" they said, smiling. Unknown to Team Rocket, Ash and Jordan took to higher ground.
"Now we're gonna show Team Rocket that we're just as tough as Chikorita!" said Ash.
"We're Ketchums, no matter what." said Jordan.
Jumping down from where they stood, Ash and Jordan landed on the van. Team Rocket kept driving, not knowing that Ash and Jordan were on the van. Back at the Pokémon Center, Misty, Brock and Nurse Joy watched as brother and sister went after Team Rocket. "Poor Chikorita." said Nurse Joy.
"Perhaps I should pursue those villains and give them a good thrashing." said Brock.
"I wouldn't worry about Chikorita, Nurse Joy." said Misty. "As long as Ash and Jordan have all their Poke…." Misty then realized something. "Oh, no!"
"Whats the matter, Misty?" asked Brock.
"Their Pokéballs!" said Misty. "Ash and Jordan ran off so fast, they forgot to take any of their Pokémon with them!"
"Let's check Jordan's backpack first." said Brock and they all quickly went over to Jordan's backpack, opening all of Jordan's Pokéballs.
"Primeape!"
"Wartortle!"
"Dratini!"
"Kangaskhan!"
"Hoothoot!"
"Everyone except for Meeko." said Misty.
Up in the mountains, Team Rocket pulls into a cabin. "Now, we got to come up with a strategy." said Ash.
"Pika, Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"What do you have in mind?" Jordan asked, wearing a snow suit.
"Riol?" questioned Meeko.
"I'll have Charizard surprise them with its Flamethrower!" said Ash.
"That's one way to smoke 'em out." said Jordan, thoughtfully.
"Riolu." said Meeko. Ash reaches for Charizard's Pokéball, then realizes something.
"Uh-oh, I guess I must have left all of my Pokéballs at the Pokémon center." said Ash.
"I forgot mine too." said Jordan, realizing she did the same thing.
"Pika!" sighed Pikachu as he and Meeko hung their heads.
"Well, that sure was a close call." said Jessie as they stood before Chikorita. "Good thing we rescued you from those Twerps. But you're safe now, and you'll be happy to know that my teammates and I have a little proposition to offer you. One I'm certain you'll accept."
"Chiko!" said Chikorita, angrily.
"It's an exciting opportunity especially for a free agent, with your kind of talent!" added Jessie.
"Yours is the kind of talent we need on our team!" said James.
"Yes sir-ita." Meowth chimed in.
"Chiko, Chika!" Chikorita said to Team Rocket. Not taking no for an answer, Team Rocket went on with their proposition.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly introduce the new star of Team Rocket's roster of champions." said James.
"The Pokémon powerhouse!" said Meowth.
"The sweet-smelling slugger Chikorita." said Jessie.
"Chika?" asked Chikorita, confused.
"Now here's a copy of our standard contract." Jessie said to Chikorita, holding a written contract in front of it. "There's no need to read it, just sign right here on the dotted line."
"Chika." said Chikorita.
"Don't worry, if you can't right, a footprint's legally binding." said James.
"Don't do it, Chikorita. It's a dirty trick." said Ash.
"Huh? Who's that?" asked Team Rocket.
"Team Rocket, prepare for trouble." said Ash. "On second thought, make that double!"
"To protect the world from devastation." said Jessie, continuing the motto.
"To unite all peoples within our nation." added James.
"Maybe you think we're a little too brash and shorten, but the masters are here and our names are Ash and Jordan!" said Ash.
"Pika! Riol!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Our Pokémon teams are faster than light!" Ash said to Team Rocket. "Surrender now or you're in for a fight!"
"Meowth!" said Meowth, grinning.
"That's right!" said Jordan, posing behind Meeko.
"How dare you mangle our motto!" said Jessie.
"That's copyrighted material." said James.
"Copycat!" shouted Meowth.
"You three need to cool off." said Ash.
"Yeah!" said Jordan.
Ash, Jordan, Pikachu and Meeko had snowballs in their hands and starts throwing them at Team Rocket, striking them in the face. "Quick, Pikachu, take Chikorita!" said Ash.
"Meeko, help him out!" said Jordan.
"Pik-Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu said to Chikorita.
"Riolu! Riol!" Meeko added.
"Chiko!" Chikorita said in agreement, leaving with them.
"They wont get away!" said Meowth, activating his remote as Pikachu, Meeko and Chikorita ran past Ash and Jordan.
"Pika! Riol!" shouted Pikachu and Meeko from outside.
"Huh? What's the matter?" asked Ash, turning around with Jordan to see that all three Pokémon were caught in Team Rocket's trap.
"When it comes to catching Pokémon, they need a new obsession." said Jordan.
"No doubt about it. They need to stay away from Pikachu and Meeko." said Ash as Pikachu and Meeko struggles to get Team Rocket's trap off of them and Chikorita.
"Pikachu! Chikorita!" cried Ash.
"Meeko!" cried Jordan.
"Gotcha!" said Meowth, pressing the remote again and two more traps appeared out of the ground, wrapping themselves around Ash and Jordan.
"Whoa! Let us out of this!" shouted Ash.
"You cant trap us forever!" shouted Jordan.
"Don't worry, guys, Jordan and I will save you." Ash said to the Pokémon as they both leaned forward while Team Rocket came out of the cabin.
"Hey look, we caught a couple of twerps in our trap." said Meowth.
"Lets take the Chikorita and be on our way." said Jessie.
"Hurry, lets make a run for it!" said Ash.
"Good idea!" said Jordan.
"Pika! Riol! Chiko!" said the three when they started to make their getaway, but were pulled back.
"Whoa! Huh!" said Ash as he falls backwards with Jordan and the Pokémon tethered to him.
"Oh, no!" exclaimed Meowth.
"They slipped away!" said James.
"That's not funny!" said Jessie.
"Sorry." James quickly said.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he, Meeko, Jordan, Ash and Chikorita rolled into a snowball.
"This is one way to do things!" shouted Jordan.
"Yeah! Going down hill in winter!" said Ash. They continued to roll down the mountain, thrown into the air, then hits a tree before finally hitting the ground with snow topping them. On a snowmobile, Team Rocket looks for Ash, Jordan and the Pokémon, unknown that they drove past them.
"I really need sunglasses, everything's so bright." said James, looking ahead.
"Not everything. You're here, aint you?" asked Meowth.
"Cut the wisecracks, we've got to find that Chikorita." said Jessie as James drove them further away. Popping out of the snow Ash, Jordan and the Pokémon gasped for air.
"That was kind of fun, wasn't it?" asked Ash.
"Cha!" squealed Pikachu.
"We should do this again next year with Mom." said Jordan.
"Riolu." said Meeko, smiling. Chikorita gives the siblings an unsure look, not wanting to go in for round two.
Walking through the snow, both the siblings and the Pokémon trekked back to the Pokémon center. "Okay." sighed Ash. "Now, which way should we go?"
"We're lost aren't we?" asked Jordan.
"I hope not." said Ash.
"Pi?" asked Pikachu.
"Olu?" asked Meeko.
"Chika!" said Chikorita, running ahead.
"Hey, wait!" Ash called after Chikorita.
"Pika! Olu!" shouted Pikachu and Meeko as Ash slips.
Chikorita continued to run ahead. "Sure is a fast runner." said Jordan.
"Goodbye, Chikorita." said Ash as snow fell around them. "Huh?"
Finding shelter Ash, Jordan, Pikachu and Meeko made a fire to keep warm. "I wonder if Chikorita's doing okay out there." said Ash.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu, concerned.
"I bet it is." said Jordan.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Bulbasaur!"
"Chika!"
"I gotta find Chikorita!" exclaimed Ash.
"Pika? Riol?" asked Pikachu and Meeko.
"But its cold out there!" said Jordan. "And it's getting dark."
"I don't care." Ash tells her. "I'm going to find it. You stay here with Pikachu and Meeko. Brock and Misty might come looking for us."
"Pika!" begged Pikachu, running after Ash as he left the cave. "Pika-Pi!"
"Why couldn't I have an older sister and not an older brother?" asked Jordan, standing behind Pikachu.
"Riolu, Riol." said Meeko.
"Hey, Chikorita!" Ash called out. "Chikorita, can you hear me?"
Through the bushes, an unfamiliar Pokémon ran across. "Huh? So, there you are." said Ash, running over to the bushes. "Huh?" He then sees a Male and Female Nidoran, snuggling with each other. "A couple of Nidoran. Huh?" Ash looks up feels something moving under him.
"Avalanche! Uh, ah! Oh! Whoa!"
Ash lands on the ground below him, landing on his back. "Oh, well, I guess I'll never find Chikorita." He said to himself. "Huh?"
"Chika!" said Chikorita, shivering from the cold.
"Chikorita!" Ash called out, seeing the now freezing Pokémon. "I just knew I would find you."
"Chika!" Chikorita said, scared as it look up at Ash, then hops into his arms.
"Okay, don't you worry now." said Ash as Chikorita rub its head against him. "Everything's gonna be just fine."
"Chika!"
"Pik!" said Pikachu, watching for Ash.
"He's back already?" asked Jordan.
"Riol?" asked Meeko.
"Pika-Pik." said Pikachu. "Pika-Pik! Pikachu!"
"You heard the mouse!" Jordan called out to her brother. "Get in here and warm up!"
Night fell outside as Ash and Jordan sat around the fire. "There! This will keep us all warm." said Ash.
"I'll keep you and Ash warm." Jordan said to Meeko as the two cuddle up to Ash, who smiled at his sister.
"Maybe tomorrow, the snow will stop, and we can head back." Ash said.
"I hope so." said Jordan.
"In the meantime, lets get some sleep, okay?" he asked.
"Pika! Chika!"
"Riolu!" The next day, the snow finally stopped as Ash and Jordan dug their way out of the cave.
"Looks like the snowstorm's over." said Ash. "We can head to the Pokémon center. Lets get going."
"Awesome!" said Jordan. "Meeko and I can wrap ourselves with a blanket."
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he, Meeko and Chikorita ran out.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"Chika!" added Chikorita.
Suddenly, they hear Jessie's laughter. "You're not going anywhere!" said Jessie.
"Oh, no!" said Ash.
"Yeah…I gotta ask, Meowth." said Jordan, pointing to the machine on his back. "What does that do?"
"You'll see!" said James.
"Okay, Twerps, you slipped away from us last time but this time we got a brand new weapon that's gonna stop you cold!" said Meowth. "Start shoveling!"
Jessie and James starts placing snow into the machine until it was full. "Fully loaded, Meowth." said Jessie.
"Lets play ball!" said Meowth, then uses the machine to fire snowballs at Ash and Jordan.
"Whoa!" shouted Ash as he was knocked by a snowball.
"Ooh!" said Jordan, making a face as the snowball hits her brother's face.
"Get ready, kids. Here comes an avalanche!" said Meowth, firing more snowballs at them.
"Chika!" shouted Chikorita, using Razor Leaf to knock down the snowballs.
"Perfect shot!" said Ash.
"Its more than perfect!" said Jordan. "It was fantastic."
"You're right, Jordan." said Ash, then looks at Chikorita. "I'm sure glad you're on our team."
"Pika! Riol!" added Pikachu and Meeko.
"Chikorita!" said Chikorita.
"Chikorita, you could be Team Rocket's star player." Jessie tells it.
"You'll be seeing stars, alright!" said Ash.
"From when you blast off." added Jordan.
"Pika, Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Riolu!" shouted Meeko.
"Okay, Chikorita. Vine Whip that thing." said Ash.
"And let them feel the pain." Jordan said.
"Chika!" said Chikorita and uses Vine Whip on Meowth's machine. Electricity crackled behind him.
"Sounds like trouble." said Meowth.
"Meowth, what's wrong?" asked James as the machine goes haywire.
"The controls just froze!" replied Meowth. Jessie screamed as snow hits hers and James' faces.
"I should have brought my camera." said Jordan, watching Team Rocket chase each other.
"Olu!" said Meeko, smiling in agreement.
"Alright, Pikachu, hit em with the Thunderbolt." said Ash.
"Pika…..chu!" shouted Pikachu, releasing Thunderbolt from his body as his attack strikes Team Rocket. Meowth's snowball machine crackles even more and finally explodes.
"We're blasting off again!" shouted Team Rocket.
"We beat em!" shouted Ash.
"Go, Pikachu! Riolu!" said Jordan and Meeko, dancing behind Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu, proud of himself.
"Chika, Chika!" said Chikorita.
"And you two worked together perfectly, like a real team!" said Ash.
"With some back up too." said Jordan.
"That's right!" said Ash.
"Pika! Chika! Riol!"
"Ash! Jordan!" Brock called out. "Hey, Ash! Jordan!"
"Pikachu! Meeko!" Misty called out.
"Chikorita!" cried Nurse Joy.
"Snow ball ambush?" asked Jordan.
"Not if you want Misty to get mad." said Ash and Jordan nodded in understanding.
"We looked everywhere for you." said Misty as they walked up. "Are you guys okay?"
"Yeah, we're just great!" said Ash.
"Pika, Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
Once they were back at the Pokémon center, the quartet prepared to head out. "It was a great pleasure to meet you, Nurse Joy." said Brock. "If you ever need a Pokémon breeder, don't hesitate to call me!"
"And, Chikorita you try not to be so stubborn from now on, okay?" asked Ash.
"Because I already deal with a stubborn one already." said Jordan, pointing to her brother.
"See you, Nurse Joy." said Ash and Jordan.
"I hope we meet again." said Brock.
"Bye-bye!" said Misty.
"So long now." said Ash as they leave.
"Nice meeting you, bye-bye now." said Nurse Joy, waving to the quartet. Chikorita had a sad look on its face as it watches Ash and Jordan leave.
"Chiko…." it said, then takes off after the siblings. "Chika! Chika-Chikori!"
"Huh?" said Ash, turning around and goes to his knees as Chikorita runs up to them. "What's the matter, Chikorita?"
"Chiko!" it said, using its leaf on Ash.
"That smells really nice." said Misty.
"Sure does." said Ash.
"Yeah." said Jordan.
"Looks to me like Chikorita wants to come along with you, your sister and your friends." said Nurse Joy.
"Huh?"
"Chika, Chika!" said Chikorita, rubbing its head against Ash's leg.
"Chikorita could really use a trainer like you to teach it not to be so stubborn." said Nurse Joy.
"Yeah, maybe you're right." said Ash.
"I could always teach to have an attitude." said Jordan.
"Jordan!" groaned Ash.
"What? Chikorita needs to have an attitude in case Team Rocket comes back." Jordan tells Ash, who shakes his head at her.
"Chiko, Chiko." said Chikorita, not hearing the conversation.
"You wanna come with me, Chikorita?" asked Ash to which Chikorita gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"Chikorita's my new Pokémon!" said Ash, lifting Chikorita up in his arms.
"Chika!"
Everyone laughs as Chikorita joins Ash on his journey. "They're a perfect team." said Misty.
"Yeah, Team Stubborn!" said Brock.
"Motion carried." said Jordan.
Narrator: And so, in the cold, snowy mountains Ash and Chikorita have begun what promises to be a warm, new friendship.
Jordan Yeah and I have a feeling that Chikorita is going to be the jealous type.
Narrator: I hope not.
