Hello :P Here is my usual Wednesday update. This one is based on an episode friends, I forget which one but it's where Ben is born :P It was on a rerun on TV and I got the idea for this. I hope you enjoy :3 Oh yeah, it's the birth of Ash and Misty's third child and in my fics Jessie and James have left Team Rocket and are pretty good friends with the "twerps"... Most of the time :P

Ages:

Ash: 24

Misty: 24

James: 31

Cameron: 23

"Ugh what the hell?!"

My best friend, Ash, barged up against the door to desperately try to unlock it for what seemed like the millionth time. Misty had gone into labour late last night and we'd all been at the hospital since then, desperately waiting for the doctor's heads up that she was ready to deliver their baby into the world.

About half an hour ago however, disaster struck after an argument over something ridiculous, Cameron had dragged James and Ash to a broom cupboard to cool down. He was right. Babies were coming into this world all over the hospital and the first thing they heard shouldn't have to be James and Ash mouthing off each other on the way to be the quickest to get Misty a drink from the vending machine.

Calamity struck and Cameron had accidentally shut the door to hiss at the bickering males, accidentally locking us all in in the process. It seemed like we'd been locked in for hours but it was merely 27 minutes.

"Jeez, Ash, will you stop trying to be macho? The door isn't going to unlock…" James sighed, his green orbed narrowing at my best friend.

"I'm sorry but my wife is kinda in labour and I don't want to miss it!" he kicked the door a few more times before sighing, sitting down on the step ladder. "I can't believe this is happening…"

I watched the scene wearily from Cameron's shoulder after Ash was too agitated to let me sit upon his. If James and Ash got into another fight here, it was sure to be a disaster.

"Yeah well at least at the end of it you get to take a new baby home…" the purple haired man stopped glaring and stuck his bottom lip out slightly, playing with the strand of hair that flicked about his forehead.

Both Cameron and I watched Ash take in his words, a slightly confused look on his normally gentle face.

"C'mon, it's not as if you're not gonna see it; we all hang out practically every single day."

"Yeah but you get a new tiny little baby to take home and love. What am I to it?" James sighed, leaning up against the shelves in the very claustrophobic cupboard. "Just an uncle…"

The blue orbed male who I was sitting on glanced at me as he was too listening to the two males converse quietly, if slightly competitively. We shrugged; at least they weren't killing each other at this moment in time.

"Just an uncle?" Ash exploded, an eyebrow quirked upwards in a confused yet bemused way. "You, Gary, Cameron and Brock have one of the best jobs. You get to be there to comfort my new kid whenever he's sad or mad at me; you get to teach him all sorts of new things. He's gonna adore you all…"

James smiled slightly at the brown orbed male, playing with his strand confidently. I sweatdropped inwardly. That man didn't have a hard time accepting a compliment. His smug expression didn't last long, however.

"He's gonna love you more of course, you're his dad."

I could hear Cameron's breathing suddenly get louder and I wondered what on earth was wrong. I looked down at him from being perched on his head, a confused look on my face.

The blue orbed male cleared his throat slightly before looking between Ash and James, a small smile over taking his lips.

"I just can't believe it…" he continued, laughing slightly when he saw all of our questioning expressions. "Growing up I didn't have a normal mom and dad like everyone else, I didn't have a normal family. But this baby is so lucky because it has two whole parents and a bunch of aunts and uncles who will adore it…" Cameron trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck and glancing at the other males. "It's just lucky is all… Anyways, you were arguing?"

At this, Ash and James just glanced at each other, unable to speak for a while. I smirked. They finally understood how stupid they were being and began figuring out a way to unlock the door together while Cameron was figuring out what he had set to spring the males into action.

I laughed to myself. He may have been dense but somehow, even in the worst situations, he managed to find something wise to say. Good on you, Cameron, good on you.

The End.

There you go, thanks a lot for reading :P I hope you enjoyed :3 So yeah, I'll probably be back next week with another update of this. I'm trying to write as much as I can but with school and everything I can't write as much as I hoped -3- Thanks again though :P
