Hey :P It's Wednesday so of course I'm back for my usual weekly update. I wrote this just before summer and only just remembered it until now. I hope you like it, it's just a bit of fun really :3

It was the middle of the night when I woke to the sound of floorboards creaking and scuffling out in the hall. My eyes crept open and adjusted to the dark of the night. Sitting up on the end of the bed, I glanced over at Ash and Misty who were cuddled up and sleeping peacefully. The sound of mischief was not coming from them. Hopping slowly onto the floor, I pushed open the door and made my way into the hall, where the noise was coming from. My eyes were now fully accustomed to the void of darkness inside the house so I could see who the two trouble makers were. Ben and Katie were hovering suspiciously outside the door to the guest bedroom.

They were too busy peeping through the keyhole to notice I was there at first but when they did, both jumped out of their skin.

"Pikachu! You scared the life out of us!" hissed Katie, whose hand was gripping her brother's shoulder in the shock of my presence.

I smirked, sidling up to where they were. What and earth are you two up to so late at night?

Upon asking this, I could see a mischievous grin take over Ben's face as he pointed to where the sound of snoring was coming from.

"Uncle Gary's in there…"

I nodded in remembrance. Gary Oak had discovered what seemed to him to be a new pokemon and desperately chased it to find it. He had wound up wet and covered in mud and worse of all, didn't manage to catch what he described as a new evolution of Eevee. The young pokemon researcher had to find the nearest house to seek refuge in and that happened to be his best friend, Ash's. Though they were now closer than they had ever been as children and teenagers, Gary still hated the idea of going to Ash for help. It seemed to him that it was always the other way around. And he was right.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I saw Ben's smirk become even more evil as he finished his sentence.

"We're going to scare him and record it. Then we're going to put it on the internet and become internet sensations."

I smiled fondly. Just like his father, Benjamin Ketchum had a habit of dreaming bigger than anyone in the entire world. I believed that they were going to scare their Uncle, not so much about the internet sensation bit.

I knew I should wake Ash and Misty up and tell them that their children were up in the middle of the night and causing mischief but I couldn't help but get involved in it. I felt my youth returning to me!

Ben and Katie both dressed me up in a white ghost's outfit and commanded me to sit on the ceiling fan so I did just that. They watched with their camera phone through the gap in the door while watching every second of it.

The ceiling fan continued spinning with me on top of it, causing my white sheets to look like a ghostly spirit in the wind. The whirring of the fan and the creaking of the floorboards were enough to wake Gary up.

"Huh…?" he mumbled, sitting up and running a sleepy hand through his spiky hair. "Jayme what the hell are you doin- WHAT THE HELL?!"

I stayed in character and didn't make a single sound as the auburn haired man leapt out of bed, taking a pillow with him. I heard Ben and Katie run back to their bedrooms so as not to be caught by him or their parents.

"What in God's name are you doing, Gary?" Ash poked his head round his bedroom door and blinked as his childhood friend was running around the landing, hugging onto the pillow desperately.

The spikey haired male grabbed onto Ash's t shirt and began shaking him, his eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep and fear.

"Ketchum! Why didn't you tell me this house was haunted?!"

While Ash begun to get shaken more and more violently, I sniggered and peeled my costume off.

The house wasn't haunted by ghostly spirits of any kind. It was just haunted by two cheeky little rascals, known as the Ketchum twins.
