Hey :P It's Wednesday so it's time for my usual weekly update. I wrote this one over summer and thought I'd upload it now because it ties in with next weeks Dear Daddy :3 It's some romance between Katie and Jayden. I hope you enjoy :P

Disclaimer: I own only the story :3

"Cmon, they're almost going to be home!"

It was pandemonium in the Morgan Residents as all of Jessie and James' family as well as Ash and Misty's were gathered there. It was an exciting time as the ex-rocketeers twins and son, Jayden, were finally coming home on their journey. All three had left when the twins were thirteen and Jayden was ten. Ash and Misty's twins, Ben and Katie had been most bewildered when they found out they were two years too young to join them on their adventures. It was six years on from that moment and now Justin, Jazmyn and Jayden were returning from their adventures around the world for a few months, to decide what they were going to pursue in the future.

"Look, I think I see them!" Ben exclaimed in an excited voice, his gloved hands pressed excitedly against the window. Delia had made her grandson some fingerless gloves; similar to that she made Ash when he was Ben's age. She thought now was the perfect time to give him them as it was a few months before he planned to set out on his next journey with his twin sister.

Ash sat back on the floor, playing with his seven year old daughter, Jessika. I smirked from my seat by the window as he made a pokemon plush version of me dance for the raven haired little girl. No one could resist a Pikachu's cuteness.

Misty was just as excited as her son to see her best friend's children return from their journey's as she had a soft spot for Jayden since the day he was born. She couldn't resist his eyes that were as green as his father's and curly hair that was lavender but splattered with pink at the top. James joined her, casually wrapping an arm around his best friend's shoulders before pushing her away to get a closer look at his children. Of course they had seen them on video camera but they hadn't seen their children in person for almost a year.

"Oh wow, Jazmyn is looking more like you than ever." James smirked over at his wife who was talking to their oldest daughter, Jayme.

Before Jessie could ask what the rest of them looked like, they barged in the door, tired from their trek up Pallet Hill.

"I made it first!" Jazmyn smirked, pushing her twin brother onto the floor before kicking off her shoes off. "Hey everyone, we're home!"

And once again, the room was filled with chaos as everybody gathered around Jessie and James' twins, and I mean everybody. There was Jessie, James, Jaxon, Jayme, Gary, Melissa, Eddie, Jayde, Cameron, Ash, Misty, Ben and Jessika. Ash and Misty's son James was playing with his best friend Dylan upstairs as the latter couldn't stand the noise and claustrophobia. And I didn't blame him!

Everyone was too busy paying attention to Jazmyn and Justin that no one saw Jayden sneak in the house a few minutes later, a bag of donuts in his hand. He had obviously taken a sneaky detour to Pallet Town's bakery. I thought I was the only one who had seen him until Katie came out from swimming in her godparents pool, still dripping wet and wrapped in a towel. She saw her old childhood friend and gasped.

"Jayden you're home!" she muttered quietly when he put his finger to his lips. He wanted the chaos to die down a bit first before he announced he was home. The pink and purple haired teen nodded, a small smirk taking over his face.

"Hello, Katie."

I glanced over at the red headed young female, a frown beginning to take over my face. I wondered why she was staring at the boy but then I knew. When she had last seen him in person, he had been quite a small and scrawny fourteen year old boy with childish curly hair. He had obviously gotten a haircut on his journey and his hair now grew much straighter, like his father's. Jayden was now taller than Katie and slightly toned as well. When he spoke, his voice was deeper.

Katie didn't say anything but smiled at her best friend. Misty and James had insisted they were going to get together right from when Katie was born but as they got older, it seemed clear that they were too fond of each other as friends to become an item. Now that Jayden was back from his journey and much more grown up than before, I could see the red headed female was thinking about him quite differently. I watched as she took the donut that Jayden offered her, a small blush streaking across the bridge of her nose.

Hm, interesting. I curled up back on the seat in the midday sun of Pallet Town, smiling as I drifted off to sleep among the pandemonium. I was excited to see what was going to happen next between Katie and Jayden. Was there going to be romance? I was absolutely sure that there was going to be. And I was right.

The End.
