Hello :P It is Wednesday and I am back with a new chapter. I wrote this one not too long ago and it's mainly about a new character. It focuses on Jessie and James' son of the twins, Justin, and his character and the struggles with his identity he goes through as a teenager. I was excited to write this and I really hope you enjoy because it's pretty special to me and has pretty much all come from me and my own insights on this character :3

Ages:

Justin: 18

Jaxon: 14

James: 39

Disclaimer: This chapter is based on James Bay's Apple music video for his song "Let It Go". Justin's character is heavily based on him because he's long haired and my other favourite music artist.

As soon as Jaxon opened the front door to let me in the Morgan household, there was a huge crashing sound that caused my stomach to lurch. The teenager went wide eyed at me before rushing into the kitchen with me quickly following behind him. Both he and I gasped loudly and watched as Justin Morgan gritted his teeth before swinging a baseball bat and smashing everything off the dinner table with it. Sickness went from my stomach to my throat as I watched him smash his father's red wine bottle to the floor. Jaxon took a quick step back, his hands quickly tangling his hands in his hair and breathing out at his oldest brother.

"Jesus, Justin, what did you do that for?"

The dark purple haired teenager barely reached, his distant orbs following each drip of the red wine that was plopping onto the floor. When he didn't get a reaction, Jaxon shook his head, removing one of his hands to lightly whack his brother.

"I said what was that for? Sometimes I don't like who you are at the moment."

These words cut like knives to the young adult's flesh and he flinched, looking at his brother with anger and frustration filled eyes. He spoke through clenched jaws and his cheekbones sucked in, suddenly shoving his hand away and whacking it himself.

"It's nothing, okay, nothing?"

Justin breathed out before gulping, running a hand through his hair as his eyes took in the mess that he had created. I could see the pain in his eyes and it put a different kind of lump in my throat. He wasn't a Ketchum kid but I had known him forever. He was lost. Good people don't deserve to feel that kind of pain.

Jaxon shook his head once again, his brother's anger filled retaliation causing the young male to get more aggressive himself. He looked at his brother up and down, his blue orbs filled with a disgust that was trying to hide his concern.

"I get angry too. But damn, I don't think I've ever done this. Have I, Justin?"

Justin turned away and didn't look at his brother, his small step forward causing the glass beneath his shoe to crunch. Jaxon gritted his teeth upon getting no reaction and grabbed his older brother's wrist, forcing him to look at him.

"Have I, Justin?" he repeated, his eyes shaking with confused emotion as he gripped onto his oldest brother's arm.

Justin quickly looked away, almost as if he was desperate to hide himself from the world. He curled his lip at Jaxon, shoving him away and harder this time.

"You don't know me, don't touch me!"

Jaxon let out a growl, deciding to take on his much taller family member by giving him back a shove that was just as powerful.

"Yeah that's the problem! We don't know you!"

The boys were about to involve in a pushing and hissing contest when James Morgan came running in from his office across the garden, standing between his son's to stop them. He barely even noticed the chaos that was on the kitchen table and on the floor.

"Oi, stop it you two!" he looked at them firmly before moving away from them both, trusting them not to hit one and other once again.

I watched as both brothers' shook their heads at each other and refused to look at one another. James breathed out and ran a hand through his hair, his eyes taking in the damage of the room. Jaxon was shaking with worry but once again, he hid it by showing dominance. He looked between where his father was looking and Justin, his chin jutted in the air.

"Care to explain what you've done to the kitchen, Justin?"

James shook his head at his son's choice of actions and words but stood in front of him in case his other son got angered and wanted to attack. Instead he just let out a shaky breath and ran a hand through his hair before running out of the house. We all jumped when the door slammed loudly shut behind the elder teenager. Jaxon soon recovered from his fright, shaking his head once again.

"He's going mental-"

"Leave it, Jaxon." James was quick to stop him from saying anything else, shooting him a firm glance. The pink haired male shook his head in exasperation, holding his hands up to show he felt he wasn't the own who needed a telling off. He backed up his gesture with words.

"But dad-"

"No buts." James shook his head once again before reaching for his jacket and shoes. After he had put them both on, his spoke to his youngest son once again. "Just leave it, okay, Jaxon? Go make yourself busy. I will sort out your brother."

Jaxon grumbled and furrowed his brow but soon nodded, heading towards the door. He took the baseball bat up with him as a sign of defiance before making his way upstairs.

James breathed out and picked something up off the floor before holding it in his hand and turning to look at me.

"You wanna come help me find him?"

The worried lavender haired male didn't have to ask me twice and soon enough, we were wandering the evening streets together to try and find the upset teenager. James had a good bond with all of his children and I knew that so it didn't take long to track Justin down. We both caught sight of him sprinting down the pavement, his mouth hung open as he breathed out loudly and his long hair flowing in the wind. We watched him turn a corner and head to his favourite spot overlooking the hills below.

We waited for a few moments before joining him. He barely even looked up when James sighed before sitting down beside him. I knew James really wanted to but he didn't speak nor look at his son. Together we watched the world below and waited for Justin to finally break the silence. He breathed out, turning to his father and looking at him with his brows knitted together.

"Have you come to tell me off for smashing the entire kitchen pretty much? Because-"

"No." James cut him off, looking at him and running a hand through his lavender locks. "No, no I haven't."

When Justin blinked at his father, he looked back at him with no expression on his face but a look of pure understanding in his eyes.

"You were angry and you had to get it out. So you took it out on the kitchen. No one was hurt. So no harm done."

I could tell Justin was baffled by this and I couldn't help but smile slightly from clutching onto James' shoulder. James was always the type of father to let his children do what was in their hearts. And if they needed to ruin the kitchen to feel free once again, he would most certainly let them. As long as no people got hurt.

Justin sighed out quietly and tucked his hair behind his ears. When he spoke, his voice was very low and the same tone throughout.

"I had a truly horrific fight with my girl." He began, his eyes growing distant and numb and he licked his lips before continuing. "It… It doesn't matter why. I guess maybe I don't know why. I was just… Frustrated? That's not even the right word. I was feeling everything. The world crashed down."

James looked sadly at his son and listened, his own hands moving to play with the strand of hair that fell between his eyes. He edged closer to him but made sure to give him space.

"You wanna talk about it?"

Justin was quick to shake his head and this caused James to grow more worried. They both sighed out before the dark purple haired male shrugged his shoulders and spoke once again.

"I don't think it's her I'm really sad about. It's me…" he admitted, pulling his long legs to his chest and looking down at his boots. "That was not me back there. I know it was me doing it but… I've never felt like doing that before."

James nodded his head and looked at his son with the most sincere eyes in the world. I knew that James truly understood where he was coming from. The lavender haired male patted Justin's shoulder before looking at the view below.

"I think everyone's felt like doing exactly that at some point in their lives. You just did it. And that's okay. You're not any better or worse for it."

Justin nodded his head and sighed again, his eyes still fixed at the point of his boot.

"I just don't know anymore. My head is a complete fog. I don't know what's real and what's not anymore. I feel so lost and powerless and not myself but maybe this is me but I don't like that the me is like this and I know I can be better but-"

"Justin…" James breathed out and shook his head sadly at his son as his words got quicker and his voice got higher and shakier with emotion.

"I'm fine…" he quickly mumbled, pressing his lips together and clenching his jaw, desperately trying to fight back his tears. "I'll be fine, I always am. I guess I'm just confused."

I could see James thinking of his son's words and he swallowed, glancing at him with worried eyes.

"Why are you confused? In what way?"

I noticed Justin freeze slightly but I shrugged it off, too worried about him and too intent on listening to his words to really make a note of it. Justin sighed out, his hand scratching the back of his neck.

"In every way. In no way. I'm just trying to be myself. But I'm growing up."

James nodded his head understandingly and gave him a small smile, his own hand scratching the back of his neck.

"Growing up is hard. People are changing all the time. You're changing all the time. The world around us is changing all the time. Sometimes it feels like everything is moving in cheetah pace but you're stuck in turtle pace. It sucks. But believe me, life is like a puzzle. All the pieces fit together and make a perfect picture eventually."

Justin couldn't help but smile at his dad for this, turning to squint at him and show off the dimple in his cheek.

"I really like that, Dad. Maybe I'll have to use it for a song." He smiled slightly and said this light-heartedly, looking up into the sky. "That's the only thing that really hasn't changed. Music. The thing that I'm still sure about."

James nodded and continued smiling at his son, his hand reaching to tuck his lavender bob behind one ear.

"Well, that's great. You have a good escape in this crazy world we live in and you know that whenever you're lost, you will find yourself in music. The craziness of growing up will make sense eventually."

Justin nodded his head and listened to his father's words before sighing, turning to look at him. I could feel James' heart pound with relief as he finally looked at him in the eyes. Justin's next words were still sad but we knew the eye contact meant that he had some certainty in himself.

"I just wish I knew how to accept myself. I mean, I just wish I knew who I am."

James nodded once again and stayed smiling, his hand moving to rest on his son's shoulder. He breathed out before looking at the sky.

"I know who you are. You are my son and you gave me life and a great purpose from the minute I found out I was going to be a dad. I will always love you, no matter what you're going through. I know you. You're smart and you're funny and you're deep and you're so talented. You might not know who you fully are right now but that's okay. Just come talk to me or talk to anyone else in our family because we love you. We will all help to find one and other. And we will always accept who they are. Okay?"

Justin squinted at his father and looked away but nodded his head, his head turning to look at the ground below as the teen combed through his hair. James breathed out at his son's nod and nodded his head also.

After a few moments of silence, James moved nearer to Justin and placed the object he had previously picked up from the kitchen floor in his son's hands. Justin smiled for real and held it in his hands before putting it on his head.

"My hat." He mumbled and smiled shyly at his dad before reaching across and patting his shoulder this time.

James nodded his head and smiled back; fixing it so it sat perfectly on his son's head. As James pulled his legs to his chest, Justin lie back on the ground with his arms behind his back. His hat stayed sitting securely on his head.

"My hat." He repeated, sighing out quietly and looking up at the darkening evening sky. "I feel closer to being my true self already."

Justin smiled and showed off both his dimples and we all stayed like that together for quite some time. Justin's words were said with light-heartedness but I knew he meant them deep in his soul. His father had given him a hat at a young age and it soon became a huge part of his identity. At that moment didn't know wholly who he was but his signature hat was reassurance that he wasn't entirely lost. I knew Justin would never be entirely lost and I was right. Slowly but surely, the fog cleared. Realisation and nausea turned to acceptance and peace. He went through many emotions but our acceptance, respect and love for him always remained. He was an amazing guy. And he was even more amazing when he was finally free.

The End.

There you go! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed :3 So yeah this was a little angsty and I'm looking forward to writing more about Justin soon. I tried hard to make his struggles unknown with only a few hints because Justin hasn't told anyone the truth yet. He is in fact gay and the fight with his unnamed girlfriend was because he told her and she dismissed it and that he's just confused. This is why it takes him so long to come out to the rest of his family, from the dismissal he received from her. Of course everybody else accepts him for him. The hat is also of course from James Bay and also James Morgan wearing one especially in the Kalos anime. It's been his signature thing from a young age :3 Anyway, I hope you enjoyed. I was very happy to write about this :P See you on Wednesday again because I have a summer beach related chapter to upload. See you then!
