Hello :P It is Wednesday and I am back with a new chapter! Commencing the last stretch of Justin and Eli for the year and before I upload all about Ash and Misty in November, here is another chapter of their story. It's a pivotal moment in their relationship. But nevertheless, it shows Eli when he is just a child and with his cousin, Jordan too, with a little bit of a story time about that as well. I hope you enjoy :3

Disclaimer: I own the story and the OCs mentioned!

This is one of those tales that I was simply never told, yet alone years later. And I know what you are thinking. No, I did not find out because I asked around. And no, I didn't find out because I was creeping around doorways either, listening! I simply knew of this story in one of the ways it can sometimes happen.

You see, a long time after everything was said and done between these two people and they became trusted by each other once more and much more comfortable in each other's company – they became friends again – I simply saw this tale in their eyes. I saw it almost like an invisible string attaching the two of them together. It was unmistakable. And in my mind's eye, it was welcome.

I enjoyed learning. I enjoyed pondering. I enjoyed being the third party! So I suppose you will all be the fourth. I know they are ready. That's yet another thing that they don't have to tell me. I just understand.

Surrounded by the dark silver-grey of a Unovan night time and with the distant sound of crashing waves from the flung open double doors of their holiday home across the next room, the deep purple haired male and the deep violet haired male found themselves searching for one and other all over again after just a few seconds of separation.

As their hands reached out into the dark for one and other, their breathing was heavy and intermittent – they were panting. Yet the first priority on their mind was to be up close to one and other all over again rather than focusing on drawing breath, in the hope of evening it out.

Almost as if they could see without their eyes, their bodies were then pressed against one another in the next couple of seconds and their legs grew intertwined. Clothed together in just a single sheet and light sweat glistening on their bodies being the only covering for the two of them, Justin let out another, shaky yet contented exhale, moving closer to the Unovan male than ever before.

In response, Eli's eyes fluttered open in the darkness after being momentarily shut and following feeling his shoulder nudging against the younger male's as their heads pressed against white pillows behind them in union, he craned his neck.

In the same way that their bodies longed to find each other at every given second, their eyes did as well and because of this, as soon as the older male's eyelids crept open, he longed to be staring at the face of the person in bed with him.

However, he not receive the privilege of looking at his chiselled yet soft face with his top lip lightly glistening in sweat also. Something better was bestowed upon him. Justin was looking right back at him, his own eyes searching for his.

And as soon as it registered between them both that they were looking at one and other all over again after having just shutting their eyes and experiencing an extremely intimate moment between only the two of them, they let out quiet chuckles.

Quiet chuckles escaped into the Unovan night. And then no sooner had this sound escaped the deep purple haired male's lips as well as the deep violet haired one's, the former reached his hand out to the face of the older male.

In between pants that were finally beginning to grow more gentle, Justin asked with his words as much as his eyes.

"Are you good, baby?" the deep purple haired male asked Eli and his hand continued reaching out towards his face, his fingers tracing along his jaw and feeling the light stubble of where a five o'clock shadow was beginning to grow. But, in fact, it was actually just about to be three o'clock in the morning.

For a couple of seconds, the older male merely focused on the touch of the younger male as well as the sound of the words, rather than exactly what was being said. As well as this, he felt as though he was in a bit of a daze. It was true that his sunken yet inquisitive orbs were indeed focused on Justin and he was seeing everything that he was seeing so very clearly.

Yet at the same time, he almost felt like he was wandering through a daydream. Was it real life? Was it just a figment of his imagination? A fantasy?

No, it absolutely was not from the way that more curious and fond chuckles broke free from Justin's mouth and after he licked his own top lip, his touch roaming from Eli's jawline to his neck, it bought the Unovan male back to their indeed reality.

Even so, a part of the deep violet haired wondered why he was being asked such a question! Why wouldn't he be happy after everything that had transpired between them?

But when the deep purple haired male's chuckles died down and any trace of a smile did along with it – for he was more focused on huddling even closer to Eli and lightly pressing his forehead against his as he lay with him – the older fathomed out the seriousness of his words. Or rather, he understood the true sentiment.

And it was this realisation that led him to cup his hand over Justin's wrist as he continued absentmindedly stroking his neck and chest, his non-ring clad finger wiping away a sweat droplet.

Sheepishness and a light shyness returned to Eli. His teeth appeared as he couldn't help but grin slightly, his head tilting with fondness as he prepared to finally answer. However, all he could do was smile for a good few more seconds.

Eventually, he was forced to answer between smiles.

"Oh… Oh, I am wonderful, my love." The deep violet haired male finally answered and no doubt was Justin a little bit relieved when an answer finally came, let alone the one that was offered to him! In spite of the fact that Eli had been smiling at him and appeared to be extremely relaxed moving even closer to him, he didn't want to assume until the words were actually said. Needless to say, Justin broke into his own shy smile when he heard this and he ducked his head. His head remained ducked and so it was soon encouraged up by Eli's fingers as he spoke more words to him, his unusual yet captivating eyes locking onto him. "That was… That was stunning. There was a lot of… stunning going on. I'm a bit lost for words. I am-"

It was Justin's turn to move his fingers to Eli's chin and as he lightly squeezed it, he interrupted him. Justin interrupted Eli with a growing mischievous glint in his eyes against the darkness and being decorated on his face.

"Stunned?" the deep purple haired male finished for him and because at that point the Unovan male had not caught on to the fact that a teasing was brewing, he merely and sincerely nodded his head, his eyes honing in on Justin's further. Nevertheless, even Eli's occasionally clueless self was not ignorant of the mischief that came next. "Oh, you have such a way with words, darling."

It was after Justin's hand cupped the side of Eli's face all over again and he looked at him a little more that the deep violet haired male understood the younger male's gentle sarcasm! He pretended to roll his eyes and tut too, lifting his body just a couple of centimetres off the mattress that they were sharing.

The deep purple haired male put a stop to this action, even if he knew that Eli was unlikely to be going anywhere and he was just teasing him in return. In fact, Justin put a stop to all of his own teasing.

His playfulness and lightness after their intimacy remained, but he switched up his attitude, swiftly planting a kiss to Eli's unruly (and slightly damp) top curls before murmuring just for him, his arms hugging around him more.

"Come here. It was sublime for me as well." The deep purple haired male uttered in a tone of voice that was simply for the older male and after he pressed his chin gently against the top of his head as well as a kiss, he moved himself and his pillow so he was propped a bit higher than the older male. Then, he pulled Eli to his chest which of course the older male complied. Eli simply didn't have the heart or the urge to act like he didn't want to be there so of course he didn't hesitate to press right up close to the younger male, inhaling contently. After running his fingers through his curls some more, Justin then reached for Eli's hand. And it was after the pairs fingers grew entwined that the eldest Morgan son noticed something, a smirk quirking his lip upwards and a sweaty strand of hair flopping down onto his nose. "How beautiful. How peculiar also. Bold too, some could say."

The deep violet haired male's eyes didn't hesitate to wander up towards where the younger male was laying slightly above him after he felt Justin's fingers gently gripping at and swivelling the wooden and turquoise gemstone ring that was decorating his pointer finger.

When Eli could see that Justin's gaze was firmly fixed towards the ring rather than his face for once and he was smirking and grinning all the more so as each second passed, the Unovan male shrugged to himself and dropped his gaze back there.

Together, the two of them entwined their fingers and gazed at the ring that he had only just purchased on their Unovan holiday together and at a market in Castelia City. The both of them looked at it for a good couple of moments, with Eli's mind secretly wandering to what Justin's words while the latter bit his lip, preparing to explain.

Before adding words that he couldn't stop from being teasing, Justin pressed another kiss to his head, that time to the side and the closely shaved part of him. He was in perfect position to whisper to his love interest in a mischievous manner.

"Bold of you indeed to wear it while we were just enjoying each other. I could've stole it right off your finger while you were massively preoccupied." The deep purple haired male (to my belief) hummed and then following these words, he pretended to make a swift action, suddenly gripping his entire fist around Eli's pointer finger where that stunning ring did indeed reside.

In spite of the fact that the Unovan's male's tip of his finger started to go a little pink at how tightly Justin was jokingly gripping him, he completely ignored his blood circulation being cut off – or potentially didn't even notice it – and merely looked back up at the younger male all over again.

That time, the deep purple haired male looked back down at him and he possibly shouldn't have done this because it softened him entirely. Or rather, it made him giddily weak. He let out a giggle almost immediately and dropped his grip from Eli, his hands instead moving back to his face as he lost all train of thought.

Even so, their thoughts were soon enough back on the same thing and back on the ring on Eli's finger. And after not much time at all, the two of them were lying in bed together and not clothed at all and holding their point fingers up against each other while Eli's head pressed against Justin's chest.

The eldest Morgan son couldn't refrain from giggling a second time at this non-romantic yet almost flirtatious comparison between the two while Eli didn't make a sound. He did, however, grow another, new twinkle in his own eye and this spoke volumes as his pointer finger loitered shorter but wider next to Justin's.

The deep purple haired male was the one to make worded observations as his chin found the top of Eli's head all over again and it rested there while the two of their bodies entwined some more.

"How peculiar." Justin almost murmured his prior words all over again and that time, instead of raising his head upwards to look at him, and silently wonder what he was going to articulate, Eli's eyes merely wandered upwards as he waited. He didn't have to wait long. The deep purple haired male shook his head against the older male's soft yet mildly damp curls and spoke in another tone that was just for him. "You chose to put it on that finger out of all of them. It's almost like you've become so much a part of me that you have traces of me displayed upon you now."

And as if to show Justin was so wholeheartedly invested in his own words that it didn't matter whether Eli was as well, after letting out another breath that was unusually breathless all over again, the deep purple haired male moved a bit more down and closer to Eli so he could plant caring yet intentional kisses along his shoulder blade.

The eldest Morgan son could've sworn that he felt the older male's skin flushing a bit after he said these words but he couldn't be sure. Even if this did happen and even if his legs did entwine with his a little more – and even if his head did lift up momentarily to look up at him all over again – the Unovan male went on to utter words that couldn't have been more different!

"You could look at it like that." The deep violet haired male began and I can't help but wonder whether Justin really did straight away gather that his boyfriend was going to say something that was almost the other side of the same coin. Nevertheless, his body language didn't change and he continued embracing him. He listened, curious of what was to come and inquisitive whether he was going to be right. "Contrariwise, my darling, surely the fact that you no longer wear your ring and I have a different, new one is an utter juxtaposition and proves that we continue be our own beings, no matter how close we become?"

As the deep purple haired male looked down at the deep violet haired male and the deep violet haired male looked up at him, Justin didn't have a chance to grow disheartened that his loving words had seemingly gone unnoticed.

Moreover, Eli didn't even have a chance to add the words that he understood Justin's sweet sentiment and appreciated it!

The eldest Morgan son merely had a chance to sigh and after this noise escaped his lips and he shook his head fondly, he moved back downwards in the bed all over again to be at a closer level to the older male.

In response, the Unovan male was almost immediately savvy to this and turned his attention to the younger male. And I believe that his actions were him possibly believing that he had finally been a touch too blunt.

But, this evidently was not the case from the way that after moving downwards to see his boyfriend at a more even level in bed, Justin took hold of his face yet again and stared fondly into his eyes, continuing to shake his head.

"I simply have never heard a man speak in the way that you do, Eli, especially not after we did what we just did." The deep purple haired male planted a kiss right between Eli's eyebrows in an innocent fashion and then he smirked cheekily to himself, recalling the fact that he had only just teased him for being wordless.

Nevertheless, the deep violet haired male did not catch on to this other thing! And Eli being Eli, even being up close to Justin in bed and laying close to him side by side and experiencing the aftermath of what they had just done together for the first time, didn't stop the blunt side of his personality and his being from being apparent.

With a shrug, he refrained from planting a kiss back to Justin but demurely removed that strand of his hair that was stuck across his nose with perspiration. And after he did this for his boyfriend, he responded.

"Well, I'm glad that you've reached the ripe old age of twenty two, Justin, and are still being blessed with continual life experiences." Eli spoke matter-of-factly and although it was not a joke, the deep purple haired male smirked and snickered, ducking his head all over again as his boyfriend's manly hands moved to the side of his neck. However, instead of wondering why the younger male was laughing, the Unovan male seemed to be lost in thought. His honest streak won out all over again rather than his silent one. He began to almost ramble. And that was how anyone could tell he was speaking thoughts as soon as they entered his mind. "Maybe I am a touch more articulate than you but you are one and courageous and innovative dude. I've never seen a man with a mind like yours. I'm forever in awe. I've seen you take to the stage. I've seen you take hold of an instrument and create magic. Words, I believe, are pointless when there's no heart or sentiment coming across. If I were you, I'd rather be mute and content knowing that I can move a room full of people with a single note from your guitar."

It was true that the deep purple haired male had been snickering at the beginning of Eli's words, but by the end, although he was smirking and smiling, he was very much silent. Justin was silent.

With a blush prominently on his handsome features, his head continued to duck while Eli's stroke thumbs caressed the side of his neck.

I gathered that the deep violet haired male was in a bit of a daze all over and that time it was because he couldn't quite believe that he had let all of these words slip. Again it was indeed no fantasy.

In reality and in the world beside Justin, he had given the younger male a glimpse of everything he felt towards him and his abilities. This was why the deep purple haired male was blushing so. And this is why it was the deep purple haired male's turn to be wordless.

Nonetheless, Justin recovered admirably quickly and this was perhaps because Eli was beginning to appear a little uneasy himself – though his of course was oncoming anxiety that he had come off too strong while the deep purple haired male's was utter humbled disbelief that somebody could think that about him.

But despite it being clear that somebody did indeed think this way and that person was none other than his boyfriend, the eldest Morgan son almost brushed it off after a couple of moment. His pale and no longer damp with sweat cheeks were still reddened but he decided just to laugh instead before grabbing Eli in a similar position, his hands planting on his shoulders.

"Eli Williams, stop it." The deep purple haired male simply said and began to bite his lower lip as he grinned and as I think back, I almost appreciated the fact that I had learned these simple words to be a bit of a language between them. Pretty much immediately, the deep violet haired male mostly snapped out of his no eye contact giving daze and looked back at his boyfriend. He was able to grin shyly and attempt to ignore any nervousness that he secretly had within in own being and because of his own words. And it was after the two of them looked at each other all over again and mirrored their hands on each other's bodies, Justin added all the more flirtatiously. No doubt was he growing bolder since his love interest had grown more hushed. "You should know better than to try and charm the pants off me. Because isn't this how we got into the position that you and I are in right now? ….Literally?"

And almost as soon as these mischievous words were uttered from the eldest Morgan son, Eli had some more words of his own to say. And these words were a complete mirroring of Justin's ones!

After the deep violet haired male had murmured the words 'Justin Morgan stop it' and ducked his own head sheepishly as well as smirked a little bit, biting his lower lip, a softness took over the two of them all over again and the deep purple haired male found himself clinging to his boyfriend.

Not only did he find himself clinging onto him, his arms moving around his neck and his legs becoming somehow further entwined with his as well, Justin started to nuzzle him as he breathed in and out, acting as if he almost wanted to blend with him out of so close he was truly beginning to feel with him.

He wanted more and more. He plainly wanted more and more. He couldn't get enough of him and that was no secret. He wanted to be there and he wanted to be close to him and he wanted to be inhaling every part of him and not exhaling too much of him at all.

Following the deep violet haired male being a little none the wiser to all of this yet also feeling the exact same way for the younger male and not hesitating to pull him closer himself, Justin finally found his words as well as his breath.

And after calming down just a tad, the eldest Morgan son planted one; single kiss to the nape of his neck, his voice was full of desire yet sweet contentment as well.

"Talk to me, baby. Tell me something I don't already know." The deep purple haired male urged gently and as his arms remained pressed up against his neck and he began to position himself so he was the one lying on the chest of the older male, he couldn't help but utter more words before Eli had a chance to react, agreeing or otherwise. Justin smiled already, his mind clearly wandering to the possibilities that lay before them both. "Tell me an old story. I want to know every part of you."

When the deep violet haired male had been given his chance to react following the addition of words from the younger male, he reacted with a thoughtful silence to which in hindsight could have been seen as a guarded sort of gesture, Eli silently wondering how he was going to steer Justin's mind elsewhere when he seemed to dead-set on what he wanted from him.

Regardless, this was not the case. It was true that Eli remained wordless for a little bit longer and Justin's ear did stop pressing against the deep violet haired male and his chest and listening to his heartbeat when the oncoming worry that he had caused that elevation in rhythm and not in a good way!

But it wasn't an agonising amount of time before he got something – anything – from the older male.

In fact, he reacted rather well and rather good-naturedly too. And as just a couple more seconds passed, he reacted playfully too.

Eli encouraged Justin's head back closer to his chest when he felt it rising from his skin and after he had run his fingers clumsily yet caringly through his own slightly unruly deep dark purple locks, he nudged his shoulder.

"Oh, but haven't I told you so much? You're first in line to write my biography, you know." The Unovan male began and while Justin promptly rolled his eyes when he heard these words, he grinned as well and his dimple appeared. He rested his ear against his chest again for good, reassuring himself that any changes in heart-rate were a good, welcome thing. Eli found it natural to grin too when he felt the younger male doing this against him. Then, his eyes absentmindedly wandered up to the ceiling. He pondered aloud as soon as words popped into his mind. "I suppose I could tell you one story. It is from a very long time ago. I don't know why… But it dashed across my mind as soon as you asked this of me."

The deep purple haired male didn't have to utter with words to explain just how ready he was to hear what Eli would go on to say as soon as he said these beginning words. Justin elevated himself off his chest again for another time but that time, it was to flash his boyfriend with an inquisitive and ready-to-listen smile, and then he planted his head against his shoulder instead.

He wanted to be so close to him that the words travelled directly into his ear and were almost just for him. He longed to hear every single syllable. He longed to learn each and every one of them as well.

And even Eli's occasionally naïve and clueless-self caught onto this. His tanned and austere jaw blushed a little bit pink and then after Justin's hand wandered to his chest to stroke him there while he listened, he complied ever more.

"Okay. Well it was like this." The Unovan male prepared to begin and I am pleased to tell you that I was able to learn of this story as well. This was one of the ones that I did have to ask about. But I was glad to have made the effort.

The deep purple haired male was too. We both learned it at different times. We both learned it at very different times in our lives. But it was welcomed and treasured in equal albeit different amounts.

On a stormy and grey shoreline front with the sun only just considering making an appearance and peeking through the clouds, as yellow haired teenage boy had been preparing to send off his hand-made wooden boat into the ocean when something else got his attention entirely. He had had a private beam on his face as he kneeled right by the water, his knees and fingers crusted with sand. It was the moment he had been waiting for! It was time for the voyage.

But like I said and like Eli said as well, something else got his attention entirely. The yellow haired teenage boy that was Jordan had absentmindedly scanned the area for anything that could've caused problems for his hand-made toy boat being cast off into the ocean when he spotted something else.

This something else wasn't going to be a problem to his boat and the voyage. More likely, the boat and the voyage were going to be a problem to it. Breath hitching in his throat, the thirteen year old boy then gasped before he didn't hesitate to briefly brush down his sand decorated knees. Then he dashed a few metres to the right where something dark blue and light blue and red as well was submerged in water next to a cluster of rocks.

Jordan began to utter, talking to himself as soon as he had taken just a few footsteps with his bare feet, and long before he had reached said thing.

"Oh no. Not again!" The yellow haired teenage boy spoke aloud to himself through gritted teeth and holding onto his brown and flat cap so he could run even faster without losing it to the wind and sea also, it was these words and the faster run that caused the person sitting on the cluster of rocks on the left side to look up. However, he was a long way from moving unlike Jordan who raced over to whatever was submerged in the shallow part of the sea before kneeling right next to it, not caring when his kneecaps plopped right into a pool of sand and seawater mush. He uttered the same words again, more disappointed that time.

Though the person sitting on the other cluster of rocks had looked up momentarily when Jordan had initially run a few metres across the shoreline and muttered to himself, they had since quickly got rather uninterested and shrugged to themselves, returning to the book that they were reading.

It was naturally this as well as annoyance that he was seemingly dealing with the same problem again for the fourth time that week that caused the yellow haired teenager – after he had scanned the area yet again and to spot his cousin sitting on the rocks – to call over to him with impatience.

His hand exaggeratedly flew up in the air as he enunciated, before he had a chance to properly assist the creature in the water.

"Would you stop reading for five minutes and come and help me?!" the yellow haired male bellowed against the wind and because I gathered that it was highly unusual for him to do that sort of thing at that age, I put it down to indeed trying to be heard against the fierce wind of the Johto shorefront as well as being in safe hands with his deep violet haired cousin. Jordan was forced to add in that continuous clear voice after the younger male did raise his head to look upwards but his eyes remained fixed on the page. "A Tentacruel has been caught in some fishing net over here! Damn those bastards for not cleaning up properly."

I knew for a fact before the future version of the deep violet haired male elaborated that it was his cousin swearing rather than the situation that caused his eyes to snap up from the pages that he was reading at last!

The deep violet haired young boy raised his eyebrows upwards as he took all of this in and because his yellow haired cousin looked away and back to the Pokémon in need seconds after he had spoken to him, Eli was free to react in the way that he pleased. He rolled his eyes.

Yet all the same, he did comply. Bringing his book with him, he gingerly dismounted himself from the rocks and looked very displeased when his forearms and his legs in his t-shirt and shorts got speckled with sand. And he was all the more disgruntled when he almost tripped on a patch of seaweed as he moved to where Jordan was crouching.

Nevertheless, the yellow haired teenage boy didn't notice a single of these things and merely only knew when he felt his nine year old cousin hovering over him. He continued not looking at him, focusing his gaze instead to where the Tentacruel was indeed submerged in shallow water and near the rocks.

Jordan finally reached his hands out to it and carefully stroked the top of its jelly-like head, mumbling solemnly.

"Those damn bastards for not clearing up after themselves. I warn them every time." The yellow haired teenage boy uttered in a way that was far older than his years, shaking his head with disappointment and his jaw clenching. But for what I suspect was a rare occasion even when he was much younger, he didn't linger on these negative emotions. He forced himself to shake his head differently, stroking the top of Tentacruel's while it was seemingly unconscious. He turned to look at his cousin properly at last as he was standing right there. "Help me out, will you? I have to try and do what I can."

The yellow haired teenage boy asked of his cousin and then he wanted to turn and look away, back to the Tentacruel when he believed that it was making movements in the water – and not just the sea causing it to look like it was swaying about.

However, he would have to come to a proper conclusion in due course. For the time being, Jordan evidently saw the way that the nine year old Eli was continuing to hold his book in his hands, and he looked visibly reluctant as soon as he had asked his words of him.

It was the green orbed male's turn to roll his eyes. His jaw clenched further. Even so, there wasn't too much frustration shot towards the younger boy. He was merely frustrated in general – and didn't want to run out of time.

"Oh, I doubt you'll have to do anything! Damn, just stay there and be there if I do need you." The yellow haired teenage boy's cheeks flushed a fraction of the shade as the jelly orbs on the top of the Pokémon's head. He didn't understand how someone else didn't seem to care.

Needless to say, Eli recoiled and winced as soon as he was snapped at. And whether Jordan regretted this hostility or not – it wasn't clear because he went back to devoting his full attention to the unconscious Pokémon and rummaging his hand under the water, trying to feel the beginnings of the fishing net – these actions snapped the deep violet haired boy into action.

Well, snapped is a loose word. His actions remained ginger and very uncertain but all the same, he nodded his head before moving back a metre or so and lightly plonking himself on the sand, so he could be there in case his assistance was needed. He most likely hoped that it wasn't going to be needed!

But he showed a tad more compliance by not complaining through words or facial expressions or otherwise when he was forced to sit on the bare, damp sand.

He listened while Jordan spoke to himself all over again. It was evident that the yellow haired teenager couldn't find the beginnings of the fishing net underneath the water and poison type Pokémon and it was beginning to baffle him.

"It has to be around here somewhere. There's no way that a Tentacruel would be out in the open and in such shallow waters if it wasn't caught up by something." Jordan mused to himself as much as he mused to Eli and after he rummaged his hand underneath the Pokémon as much as possible while dodging its Tentacles, he stopped leaning so close to it and put his hands on his knees before standing up to his full, tall height. He spoke aloud some more and that time it was definitely to himself rather than his cousin. "Well, guess there's only one thing for it. I gotta take a risk to save a friend."

And as soon as the yellow haired teenage boy uttered these words, he moved one of his hands to his hat and flung it off onto the sand and pebble beach, deciding that he would take the punishment from his parents for muddying it or misplacing it later on. For the time being, he was on a mission. Like he said, he was on a mission to save a friend.

And what he was going to do was painfully obvious to Eli without having to hardly do anything at all from the way that his sunken yet round orbs widened so.

"There's no need to take any risk." The nine year old boy couldn't help but say as he placed his book in his lap and his tanned and skinny legs in his brown shorts stretched out on the sand, that time wincing at the sensation.

The green orbed teenage boy was only just moving his braces down from his shoulders and leaving them hanging around his shorts before properly moving into the water with the Tentacruel when his head snapped towards Eli.

Jordan spoke to Eli firmly but coolly.

"Risks for things that deserve it aren't even risks." The yellow haired male uttered, contradicting his previous point as he fully went into the water with the Tentracruel. Granted, it was very shallow and only came up to below his sandy knee caps but the way that Eli silently yet visibly gulped and his eyes widened further expressed everything that he needed to say. It only took a split second for the Pokémon to stop being unconscious and realise there was a human right close to him and unleash a very painful poison attack, Jordan knew this. But Jordan ignored this, his next, impatient sounding words proving exactly this. "Just stay and watch, would you?!"

I gather that the yellow haired teenage boy did regret the hostility this time after Eli somehow recoiled while sitting in the same spot on the shore with his book. Jordan was encouraged to flash his younger cousin another, softer look after taking a focused inhale.

However, Jordan being Jordan, he didn't actually utter words or an apology. But Eli being Eli, he probably didn't expect one anyway.

In spite the fact that the yellow haired teenager had since turned his back on him in order to focus on the Pokémon rather than any other possible reason, Eli bit on his bottom lip before sucking on his top lip and nodded his head.

He would indeed keep watch. He was pretty nervous about what exactly he was going to watch. But Jordan asked. So he would honour. He would at least stay. So he did.

After the yellow haired teenage boy had immersed himself in the water as much as he could and with the lonesome Tentacruel still submerged, he began properly delving both of his hands underneath the creature. But from his facial expressions it was clear that it was to no avail. And he uttered his confusion, his top lip growing wet as the Johto dockyard town decided to give up all hope of showing any sun and began to rain instead.

The deep violet haired young boy winced and picked his book up to protect it, while Jordan in the midst of the action was unfazed. He was only fazed by wondering why he couldn't find what he suspected was the reason that Tentacruel was lulling there, and unconscious.

"It just doesn't make sense…" the yellow haired teenage boy muttered to himself and he shook his head, out of confusion and trying to dodge the rain that was coming down in annoying, sparse and erratic pitter-patters. He tried a few more times for good luck, even rooting around closer to the tentacles of the Tentacruel which was indeed hazardous. "I just doesn't make any sense. They keep to the depths. And they hang out in groups. If it's not caught by net or rope or something, and it's visibly not injured from battle or sick, why is it here…? Eli… Got any ideas?"

Now, it's true that silences could often be a thing between the two of them when I knew them so I understood that it was the same when they were younger. After all, they really were close with one and other, and they were the kind of duo that didn't have to fill the comfy silences with pointless conversation.

Eli could often be found gazing off into the distance with those wide eyes of his while Jordan could be found staring into space with a smile on his face, dreaming of some sort of sea-based adventure. This meant there could be lots of silences. This meant there could be lots of silences that could go on for a long time.

Still, the silence that ensued in that moment in the past caused even the yellow haired teenager to feel a bit peculiar about it. After staring at the water Pokémon and trying to figure out what was the matter with it and giving it a brave once over with his hands while it remained (hopefully) unconscious, Jordan was forced to look over at his cousin when his silence continued.

And it was after he did this that he was also forced to sigh extremely loudly and impatiently and bring himself out of the water entirely.

"Are you serious right now? I asked you to keep watch." The yellow haired teenage boy reminded the deep violet haired younger boy as he emerged from the water and loomed over him, putting his hand on his hips and deciding to express his frustration with direct and truthful words rather than creative insults he could've mustered. When Eli mustered up his own reaction and it was the same as one of the previous ones, his head lifting upwards from the book that he had returned to reading but not his eyes, Jordan felt forced to do more. The green orbed teenager forced compelled to slap the book right out of his cousin's hand, down onto the sand. "Could you steer yourself away from that blessed thing for two minutes?! I know it's not as important as the front suggests."

Even though he had been pretty unfair by going back to what he was doing even after being asked to focus, it's understandable that Eli's young face entirely dropped when his book was slapped out of his hand.

It didn't hurt, not really. It didn't hurt his hand at all. It did hurt having his cousin do that to him though, and his bottom lip threatened to pucker out as he watched his engrossing read tumble down onto the sand and get flecked by the grains. As well as this, his full head of curls drooped in sadness and the rain too that was splattering down on him.

The yellow haired male continued his words defiantly and disappointedly. Yet even so, there was an edge to his voice that even nine year old Eli picked up on that made him feel like his actions were out of character.

"C'mon. I know it's not as important as the front suggests. It might be important to you. But I really need you to do this for me." Jordan spoke to his cousin and after all four of their eyes had dropped down to where the book had landed in the sand, the yellow haired teenage boy put his hands on his hips and moved his foot towards it.

Jordan intended to use his foot to scoop the book upwards before reaching for it with his hand. However, Eli quickly took the beginnings of the gesture as a mark of disrespect and so he snatched it back before his cousin could even touch it, holding it defensively.

As well as this, his own defiant and bold side of his personality came out. Though he was remaining sitting on the ground, he looked Jordan in the eye and raised an eyebrow, clutching his beloved book in his hands and rotating the front cover in his cousin's line of vision.

"Fine, I'm sorry I got distracted. But how do you know it's not important? And how do you know what it is or it is not about?" Eli retorted to his cousin not meanly but very pointedly. He continued looking at the yellow haired teenager right in the eye.

And in response, that same yellow haired teenager was forced to play along. After the deep violet haired young boy flashed the cover to the older male, it was obvious that a different book had been placed in the hard cover of an educational sort of book, but still, Jordan placed his hands on his hips all over again and leaned in, doing his best to seem like he could read every word on the front.

"It says… It's a book about… a book about learning – teaching yourself to…" the yellow haired male tried and despite the fact that Eli hadn't been trying to be mean, it had obviously done well at giving him a bit of a taste of his own, blunt medicine from the way that he flushed red, that time the exact same shade as the jelly blobs on the top of Tentacruel's head. Jordan's arms moved to fold over his chest. "I don't know okay?! It's some nerdy boarding school book on the outside with book of your choice on the inside. Either way, can you help me, please? I just can't understand why Tentacruel is staying there if he's not hurt or injured."

In retrospect, I can't help but and continually wonder whether it was the yellow haired male rather endearingly (albeit loudly) not acting like he could do something when he couldn't or it was him actively asking for help and saying the word please that caused Eli to have a change of heart.

Granted, he still remained a little bit off with his cousin and sceptical and he was of course suspicious and ginger when it came to the water Pokémon! But, he clutched onto and held his book as he moved to the edge of the shallow water after Jordan waded back in.

While the yellow haired teenage boy gave the unconscious Pokémon a once over and made doubly and triply sure that it wasn't injured in the slightest and it was not just sleeping either, Eli held his book in one hand and pressed two fingers against the bridge of his nose with the other, almost acting like he was pushing glasses up on his face as he pondered.

He thought to himself and after Jordan remained doing his own thing and not bribing him in the slightest, he even put his book entirely down and cautiously peered closer from the edge of the shallow water.

Eventually, he shrugged, pushing the bridge of his own nose a second time.

"I'm stumped. Maybe it's just dramatic. Maybe it's lonely. Maybe it just needs a-"

But Eli was interjected, massively so. Thankfully, he was not interjected by the Tentacruel suddenly snapping out its tentacles in the water, no. He was interjected by something else entirely.

The voice that interrupted the nine year old boy came out very high pitched and girlishly, giggly too. It was a three year old girl. She came running along the shoreline from the house with a white dress billowing around her ankles. She was beaming with glee.

"Hug! Ooh, squishy! I wanna hug!" the yellow haired three year old girl squealed as soon as she saw her brother massaging a familiar Pokémon to try and coax it from being unconscious as gently as he could. For such a small and slight girl, she sure could run fast!

Somehow she made it from the path leading to Jordan's family home, down to the decking and eventually to the pebbles and sandy shore in hardly any time at all. She saw what she wanted to see. And what she saw was a Pokémon that she wanted to hug!

Morgan continued giggling and beaming and squealing as she ran. Then her own bottom lip stuck out when he was forced to act quickly and protectively and prevent her enthusiastic self from diving in the water with her brother, much like Eli's had done previously.

Although she wriggled in Eli's hold and tried to get away from him, she didn't persist for much longer and she looked with wide, green orbed between them both.

"But… Squishy." Was all she murmured the second time she spoke and if a soft side of teenage Jordan was shown when he took to caring for the wild Tentacruel right away, it was absolutely shown when it came to his little sister too.

After both the yellow haired teenage boy and the deep violet haired young boy breathed out a retrospective sigh of relief that they had been interrupted by Jordan's sister rather than his brothers – no doubt did they not feel like being used as a punching bag, verbally or otherwise in front of the water Pokémon – Jordan joined Eli in reaching a hand out to stop Morgan.

But he smiled at her, tilting his head kindly at her and his yellow curtain-like locks framing his face in an earnest and angelic way.

"Squishy… Squishy might not be well enough for a hug. I think it could be very sick indeed. Or trapped. Something like that." Jordan began to explain in a gentle way to his three year old sister and in spite of the fact that his cheeks reddened all over again as he slipped out with calling the Tentacruel a nickname, it was the deep violet haired young boy who showed a softer side when Morgan looked visibly upset at this news.

Eli continued guarding her from going into the water any further and also wrapped his arm around her as well, kneeling down to her level. The nine year old boy tried to be as kind as his cousin but thanks to his awkward self, while it was endearing, it didn't quite come across as easy-going!

His arm uneasily rested on her thin shoulders as he helped explain, and take her mind off this hard to digest news.

"Your big brother is doing everything that he can, don't you worry. And while he does that, you can do everything that you can." Eli began talking to Morgan and though she continued blinking her wide and green bordering on watery eyes at her big brother for a few more seconds, she did turn to look at their cousin to listen to him. Her little brow furrowed. The deep violet haired boy was forced to move closer to her, acting as if he had a secret while Jordan looked intrigued in between massaging Tentacruel's red bits. "Did you know if you stare hard enough, sometimes you can see unimaginable things in the centre orb of Tentacruel's head? Yup. It's true. Some say an eye. Some even say… the future. Do you think you can stare long enough to find out?"

And while Jordan knew in not too many seconds that his cousin was bluffing to distract from the fact that it didn't look good if the Pokémon was still not waking up, he couldn't help but get involved in it as well.

In fact, he almost looked as though he was going to believe it himself when Morgan gasped and looked between them before begging to have her hand held while she stared for as long as she could!

It couldn't have been true that Jordan believed for he knew the myths and legends of the sea and facts of its inhabitants as much as anyone if not more. But then I supposed it was nice for him to believe that there were still things worth discovering. And when it came to Morgan and Eli too, he couldn't help but be a little more involved in the lighter side of life.

And so, the scene proceeded. Jordan continuing to massage the other two orbs of the Tentacruel while Morgan held onto Eli's hand and peered downwards and waited for something, anything to appear in the round shape.

She believed that she spotted something almost immediately but then the deep violet haired young boy bluntly and not at all tactfully pointed out that it was just the reflection of the clouds.

After some more seconds of him staring as well as the three year old yellow haired child, he added.

"I really do think that it will be an eye, you know? Or should I say, eye really do believe it will be an eye?" Eli spoke aloud to himself and it was very much to himself when this pun went over Jordan and Morgan's heads entirely! They didn't catch onto it at all. Eli was forced to titter to himself before nudging the three year old girl even further forward, encouraging her some more. "Keep looking… Keep staring… I know, an eye will appear in the next very minute."

The deep violet haired boy made his last couple of words purposefully suspenseful but nothing could have prepared him for what happened next. He couldn't have known what was going to happen next.

A split second following his words and a split second following Morgan leaning in one step further so she was almost properly face to face with the Tentacruel, something most unexpected happened.

Not just one eye appeared but two did! However, they were not shining out of the orbs on its head. Its actual eyes had snapped open. Not only was the Pokémon no longer unconscious but it had only evidently pretended to be after it appeared to laugh when Morgan shrieked!

Morgan shrieked the loudest shriek that could be heard when the water Pokémon was suddenly awake and contrasting her urge to hug it before, she evidently no longer had that desire from the way that she ran backwards before turning around and properly running, intending to head back home!

Eli had not been purposefully pranking Morgan all the way like the Tentacruel had been pranking all of them, but he laughed just as hard after the result had been achieved. He doubled over. He hooted. He cackled. He fell backwards on the sand and kicked his legs!

Jordan's own legs sprang into action. After gasping at what had happened and his sister's reaction also, he was simply filled with joy that the Pokémon no longer was critical and no longer needed rescuing.

He didn't hesitate to wholeheartedly share that joy. He sprinted along the sand after his sister, his arms spread wide open.

"Oh yes, Morgan! You are the best Pokémon rescuer ever! Give me a hug!" Jordan bellowed and that time it wasn't to call against the wind. However, as he ran and his thirteen year old legs effortlessly carried him after his sister, she was far too frightened to give him a hug and continued wailing and running.

This of course made Eli laugh harder. It looked as though he was never going to get the urge to run as he lay sprawled out in the sand, for once not caring about all the speckles and kicking his legs gleefully, enjoying laughing so very hard.

However, like most things, every little thing had to come to an end. There was something that did actually snap the deep violet haired boy into action and that was so very surprising. But when it happened and when the others heard it, it caused Jordan to laugh out loud as well and even Morgan too.

As the rain continued coming down and harder than ever that day to greatly contrast the gleaming beams and laughter of everyone, Eli got up from the sand and ran after everybody as well.

And I know what you're thinking, what was it that got him up and caused him to shoot across the shore so fast? It was not the Tentacruel, no. it was something far more formidable and terrifying!

You see, Eli's mother suddenly poked her head out of Jordan's family home from having tea with his mother and she had longed to tell him off as soon as he laughed at giving Morgan a fright. And seeing him on the floor and acting so foolish finally prompted her into action.

As her son continued running, she continued calling the same sentence over and over to him.

The older version of the deep violet haired male explained this exact sentence to the deep purple haired male as he continued listening to the story, his hand no longer on his chest but stroking underneath his chin.

"'You are in big trouble, Elijah Alderaan. Elijah Alderaan, you are in big trouble.' Elijah Alderaan." The deep violet haired male explained to the younger one as they continued huddling together and then he stated. Straight away as Justin heard these words, his head lifted from being on his boyfriend's shoulder and it threatened to tilt. Eli bit his lip. And then he nodded his head. He breathed out. He elaborated only more, and quieter than ever before, just for Justin to hear. "That is the name I was given at birth, Justin. But only Jordan remembers out of everyone from our past… So I must ask you to not tell a soul.

The eldest Morgan's son breath hitched in his throat when he heard this. It was not out of surprise that something truly large had been revealed to him. It was not out of bewilderment that it had not been uttered to him before. He just simply felt touched and so very glad that that moment had been finally shared between the two of them. And a bit emotional too.

Justin couldn't express this for quite a long time. Though he nodded his head almost immediately and he moved his hand all over again to draw invisible patterns on Eli's chest – and though he swallowed also – he took a little while to find his voice.

But when he eventually did and after Eli had stared at him all the while, trying to work out his silence and why he hadn't said anything to no avail, he showed off the smallest of smiles before pressing his lips tenderly to the older male's, his hand squeezing him far tighter than he had before as he held him.

"I… I won't tell a soul." Was all the eldest Morgan son muttered for a good few moments and then it was Eli's turn to wordlessly nod. The two of them stayed in slightly vulnerable yet comfortable silence for a good amount of time and then it was Justin to break that all over again. As their bodies found each other growing closer and their touch becoming more yearning yet secure all the same, Justin smiled a touch more, still feeling in disbelief over everything that had happened. Gentle albeit unmistakeable and powerful electricity coursed through his veins. His stomach and his heart were on fire. Still, he managed to mumble sincerely. "Thank you for telling me your story. All of it."

No doubt did the deep violet haired male surprise the deep purple haired one by answering promptly.

"You're welcome, gorgeous." The Unovan male told the younger one and after Justin softened all over again at the name and his arm wrapped around his head completely, his fingers tangling in his curls, Eli encouraged him to lay down properly with him. After he planted a brief yet tender kiss to his lips in return, he spoke to him once more. "We should go to sleep now. It's been a busy day. But I confess that being here with you here right now is far better than anything I could muster up as I dream."

And although these words were spoken and no doubt did they send another wave of consuming enjoyable power through Justin's body, it took him a really long time for him actually to respond at all.

In fact, the deep violet haired male must've believed that he was already asleep from the way that his eyes were shut as Justin felt each and every sensation. His felt his closed eyelids twitching from feeling touched that Eli had shared so much with him. He felt his stomach soaring and dropping at the memory of them finally wholeheartedly being entwined and the ecstasy of the way they felt against one and other.

And then, finally, Justin felt as though his heart was going to burst. It was no secret that he had had very loving feelings for Eli for a good while. It was true that he had pondered telling the Unovan male that he was in love with him.

Then when indeed Elijah believed that Justin was asleep, the deep purple haired male knew that he couldn't just keep it to himself any longer. Elated and passionate and consuming emotions seemed to somehow mellow down. Justin managed to breathe out almost matter-of-factly. I believe that he too believed that Elijah was asleep. So he was free to whisper whatever he wanted.

Justin rolled closer to his boyfriend while his own eyelids were shut and he breathed heavily inwardly and outwardly. Justin too breathed and he edged closer to the older male. After he had mustered the words in his mind, he spoke them out for the dark but of course for the deep violet haired male as well. J

Justin's hands cupped Eli's face as he whispered to him.

"I love you, Elijah Alderaan…" Justin swallowed as soon as these words had escaped his lips but he staring against the nape of the older male's neck made it clear he didn't regret them. They were the truth. His hands remained holding him. His body remained holding him. His heart remained holding him. Whether he felt the same way or not.

With his whole heart, the deep purple haired male believed that he felt Eli twitch, and then exhale. But he really couldn't be sure. And he didn't want to believe it either, in case he was rendered disappointed.

However, as he calmly remained laying with him and just remembered how those honest words sounded to him without caring whether they were returned or not, he unmistakably felt Eli's eyelids flutter open.

I know that he wished that he didn't have this urge but his own eyelids fluttered shut when he felt this.

He wasn't losing his nerve. He wasn't going to deny what he had whispered, nor what he felt. But that powerful electricity and desire that he often felt caused other emotions to feel engulfing as well. And that meant vulnerability.

Justin's eyes were slowly encouraged open all over again when Eli moved, evidently not in his sleep, and cupped the younger male's face in return. He murmured to him against the dark of the night, and his deep voice was decorated by the crashing Unovan waves from outside.

"You know… You know all of this has caught me off guard. You know it would take a lot for me to say that too…" the deep violet haired male uttered and Justin didn't realise that this was just the beginning of his words. Not only did his eyes flutter shut all over again but they squeezed shut.

Eli sensed this, though. He seemed to cup Justin's face even more tenderly even though it was possible to Justin that he wasn't going to hear the words in return. The deep purple haired male tried to be okay with this. He believed that he would be okay with this. And he would.

His boyfriend sharing things with him that he didn't share with anybody else and not just stories would have to be enough. He would make it that way.

Justin blurted out. He still blurted out the truth. A quiet truth.

"I… I know, Eli. I just… had to tell you." The deep purple haired male's voice quietened down the more words that he spoke. Nevertheless, he was still able to be comforted by the fact that Eli did not let go of him. In fact, he held him even more lovingly as each second passed, even if he didn't utter the same words back.

Justin forced a smile and after doing that, it became more real. And after this also, he pressed another kiss to Eli – that time to his cheek – before settling down to sleep for good.

I don't believe that Eli waited in the hope that the younger male would fall asleep in his arms. I don't believe that he waited because his boyfriend did exactly this. I believe that Eli waited because he simply did so.

But then he spoke. Indeed, still holding the deep purple haired male carefully and tenderly and lovingly and breathing alongside him and feeling his bare body almost merging with his, words finally escaped his own lips.

Elijah whispered out into the dark. He whispered out and to decorate the waves outside. Yet first and foremost, he whispered because it was true as well.

"Justin Morgan… " nestling against Justin's neck and where his earring resided, the Unovan male cupped onto his face and he told him. "I love you too."

The End.

There you go! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed :3 I really liked going back and coming up with young Jordan and Eli too! I absolutely intend to go more into it. So yes, Elijah Alderaan is his actual name, but he mostly goes by Eli - and then takes the Williams surname of Jordan after he and Lynne pass on. I think this shows a lot of Justin and Eli. Even though their pain and their break down is very much too, the moments in between of genuine love are as well. It's just a shame a tumultuous ending blurs all of that for them :P Thanks again for reading and I will be back next Wednesday so see you then!

Amy signing out :)
