To the Other Side of the Rainbow
Rainbow Mist
After Wetton's men were deployed into the sea, they use their boats to sail towards the wrecked ships, stealing treasures and dropping them down to their boats. Wetton's men were pleased of themselves for finding the treasure. But once they found the treasures and taken them toward the Rainbow Tower, they placed them to the machine that pulls the treasure back. Flip and Wetton were astonished of how much treasure their men were able to find on a different shipwreck.
"Father! It's an even bigger haul than we expected!" Flip exclaims, stunned of so many treasures while turning to Wetton.
"Yes, indeed." Wetton agrees with a smirk. "Drop every piece of treasure the Mist will offer us."
Soon as one of Wetton's men climbed up on the rope ladder of the Going Merry, Ventus grabs hold of him and throws him right at the sea.
"What now?!" Zoro exclaims when he and Usopp turns to the young Dragoon and the group of kids.
"They're here." Ventus told them. "And it looks like they're taking the treasures toward that tower."
"See anything else?" Nami questions.
"Wetton and his son are in that tower." Ventus answered, sniffing the air. "His toothpick of a grandson and his couple of cronies are already on to us."
"WHY YOU?!" The voice of Lake yelled with a growl.
The kids, the Straw Hat pirates, and Henzo turned their attention to Lake and his men, which somehow, he repaired his battle suit the third time because of Caius destroyed it the second time.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A TOOTHPICK?!" Lake yelled angrily with a tick mark on his head, waving his mechanical arms around.
"Speak of the devil." Ventus said with a smirk.
"But still, we've got to be careful. This guy is dangerous with his suit on him." Usopp warned him, readying his slingshot.
"Apes Concert is still the territory of the Pumpkin Pirates." Akibi told him while carrying his cutlass as Isoka, Rongo, and Pukau climbs down into the boat. "Until Rapanui returns, it's our job to defend it."
'No matter how much you try, you're outnumbered and not strong enough to fight Wetton's men.' Ventus mentally thought when Henzo run towards the kids with a sword on his hand.
"Professor!?" Robin protests, about to stop him but it's too late.
"I'm one of the Pumpkin Pirates, too! I'll defend this place right alongside you!" Henzo shouts with determination.
"Here, let me help you out with that." Usopp offered when Lake fires electricity from the rod, electrocuted Henzo as he falls down into the boat which flips it over, causing the children to splash into the water.
"And I thought you guys wanted help finding a bunch of brats like these." Lake said with a smirk when Henzo and the kids merged out of the water.
"Wetton?!" Isoka exclaims in dread when she notices Lake, but failed to realize that he's Wetton's grandson.
"He's still the same young guy he was before!" Pukau states.
"Uh, no, you see, I'm actually Captain Wetton's grandson, Lake." Lake corrects them. "Do I really look like him, though?"
"Yeah, just like him." Rongo answered.
"Oh, really? So, my grandfather was this handsome when he was younger than, huh?" Lake asks with a grin.
"What is up with this guy?" Usopp asks in confusion.
"He's an odd one." Robin told him.
"More like he just couldn't keep his mouth shut." Ventus adds with annoyance. "We's Wetton's big-mouthed grandson, Lake."
"Hey, I heard that!" Lake shouts with a tick mark on his head. "Just hand over the treasure nice and easy or I'll have to teach you a lesson with my Electric Shock Suit here!?"
"Yeah, like that's going to happen." Nami said with a deadpan look, sweat dropped. "Guys, his suit is just powered by the generator. Our new friend just beat him twice."
"Who?" Usopp inquires curiously when Zoro lands on the boat behind Lake with a smirk and readied his swords.
"Electricity, huh?" Zoro said. "Sounds interesting, I was hoping to have a little fun right about now. I'll just cut your electricity in half with my sword. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?"
"Um, it doesn't really work that way." Nami points out when she and Usopp slaps the air.
"Okay, just try!" Lake said with a smirk, challenging him while readying his suit. "I dare you!"
"Alright, if you insist." Zoro said.
Ruluka Island
Meanwhile at the docks, Sanji, Chopper, and Caius were now waiting since Wetton and his men were already inside of the Rainbow Mist, gathering treasures.
"It sure is quiet." Chopper states.
"Yesh, real quiet." Sanji agrees.
"Do you think everyone's alright?" Chopper asks, worried.
"We won't have to worry about them, they can take care of themselves." Caius told him. "However, it's Wetton we should be worried about."
"What do you mean?" Chopper inquires, sat up in confusion.
"He means, if Luffy and the others take care of him while he's in there, and I won't have a chance to pay him back." Sanji clarifies.
"Oh, I guess I can understand that." Chopper said as Sanji and Caius stands up.
"You coming?" Sanji asks as Chopper stands up, about to get ready to head for the Rainbow Tower.
Rainbow Mist
While inside of the Rainbow Tower, Luffy somehow, got inside of the tower after grabbing Rapanui and launches himself with his 'Gum-Gum: Rocket', flying into the air with the big grin on his face. However, Luffy flies upward which causes to bounce right towards the ceiling and the machine. It got the group of men's attention when they heard the noise, spooked when Luffy bounced off the treasure. Wetton and Flip turned their attention towards Luffy and Rapanui, who crashes into the two as they're knocked down to the floor.
"Whew! Finally stopped!" Luffy pants with relief, but he couldn't say the same about Rapanui, Flip, or Wetton.
"Captain?!" Ian exclaims in panic as he and Flip helps Wetton up.
"How dare you?! Nobody can go into the Rainbow Mist without my permission, understand me?!" Wetton snarled, points his mechanical arm at Luffy. "You'll have to pay a 50 million berry entry tax."
"No." Luffy refused simply.
"What?! Are you actually saying you've refused to follow Mayor Wetton's orders?!" Wetton shouts, waving his mechanical arms while throwing a tantrum.
"Wetton?" Rapanui groans, snapped out of his thoughts when Wetton mentioned his name. "Wait! That's you?!"
"Yeah, that's right, I am Wetton. The great and powerful mayor of the whole town of Ruluka." Wetton told him.
"But you use to be a pirate! And now you're the mayor!?" Rapanui exclaims, points his finger at Wetton.
"Yes! And what's so wrong about with that, huh?!" Wetton shouts in annoyance, again waving his mechanical arms around.
"Captain! That's him! He's the one who stole our ship!" Ian told him.
"What?" Wetton said surprisingly, then remembered Rapanui 50 years ago. "Really? So, you're that kid, huh?"
"You were the one who burned down Ruluka! And now, you're it's Mayor!? That's wrong!?" Rapanui yelled furiously, clenching his fist. "After what you did, how dare you?!"
"Shut up, you brat!" Wetton retorted, fires the flame which Rapanui was able to dodge, but dives into the sea.
It got Luffy panicked when he's about to go after Rapanui, but stops himself since he's a Devil Fruit use and won't be able to swim, hoping that he made it out of the water.
"Hey, kid, listen to me. Being the mayor is a nice gig, all you have to do is sit in the desk and collect the money from all of foolish townspeople." Wetton told him, smirked when Rapanui merged out of the water with a glare. "I don't have to wander the sea and looking some ship to plunder, or get chased by the Marines. Everyday is relaxing and carefree, there's no better job in this world. The life I had now is better than it's ever been before, I just wish I'd found this line of work sooner. There's no use of being a pirate, I've got the right idea now."
Luffy can only respond by turning his head to Wetton with his eyes covered in bangs, stretched his arm as he grabs the gas line.
"Shut up!" Luffy said, pulls and tosses Wetton into the air, causing him to crash against the gas pump.
"Captain, no!?" Ian exclaims in shock.
"Father?!" Flip called him as Luffy looked at Wetton with a scowl on his face while Wetton tries to stand up with a grunt.
"Why you!?" Wetton groans, sat up as he turns to Luffy. "What's that for?!"
Luffy stretches his arm as he grabs hold of the window while stretching his fingers, leaving Wetton flinched.
"Old guy, you have no clue what a real pirate is." Luffy told him.
"What?" Wetton said, confused which it got Flip and Ian shocked.
"Luffy." Rapanui muttered, stunned with awe.
"Pirates don't need to have power, that's not what we're looking for. A real pirate has a dream." Luffy points out.
"Dream, huh?" Wetton said with a scoff.
While at Ape's Concert, Lake gained the upper hand when he fires electricity at Zoro, causing the swordsman to leap back which he has burned marks because of getting shocked. Though, Zoro won't give up easily since he's persistent.
"My electro-shock suit is invincible! There's no way you're going to escape from me!" Lake said with an arrogane smirk.
"Escape? Me? Never!" Zoro retorted. "I'm gonna cut little electricity of yours in half."
"But Zor, didn't you hear what Nami said?! You can't cut electricity!" Usopp protests.
"I can cut it." Robin told him, leaving Usopp confused.
"Now, Rolling Thunder" Lake then presses two rods together, but apparently, it didn't happened which left him confused. "Hey, what's going on here?!"
"That little suit he's so proud of doesn't do much good after the plug is pulled." Robin explains, which she was the one who uses the Devil Fruit power to sprout the limbs while pulling the plugs out of the generator.
Lake then began to rant while throwing a tantrum, complaining that the Straw Hats didn't play fair, but causing him to fell down into the water.
"Hey! Will somebody help me!" Lake whines. "I'm drowning here!?"
"That wasn't fun." Zoro said, unamused.
"This is so sad." Ventus muttered in annoyance, flying towards the Rainbow Tower.
While back at the Rainbow Tower, Luffy is still holding the window after lecturing Wetton about the pirate's dream.
"Okay, a dream you say. Don't be ridiculous! Everyone knows what pirates dream about!" Wetton remarked, but smirked. "All you want is to become rich from gold and silver! Why waste your time? Plenty of treasure will fall into your lap, once you've gained power!"
"You're wrong, a real pirate has a dream. To become the greatest man on the sea!" Luffy retorted as he pressured the glass which causes it to crack, breaks the glass and then his arm was back in its place. "And I'm gonna be King of the Pirates someday!"
Wetton flinched while not liking his respond while Rapanui was amazed of Luffy's determination. He took off his battle suit as he rushes towards the lever and pulls it down, causing the platform to fall towards the water along with Ian, Flip, and Luffy, who's drowning.
"No one has ever dared defy me and then live to tell about it! I'll blow you away!" Wetton shouts.
"Not if I blow you away first, Wetton!" The voice of Ventus shouts in a dragonic tone, flying towards the mayor with rage.
It got Wetton frightened as he began to run while Ventus flew inside of the tower.
"Please, Captain! Wait!" Ian pleads when Rapanui dives down to get Luffy.
"What about me?!" Flip shouts.
"Why do I care?!" Wetton retorted, tossed the lighter against the gasoline as it began to ignite.
It got both Flip and Ian panicked when they saw the suit is burning along with the gas tank as it began to explode, destroying the Rainbow Tower.
While at the docks, Caius, Sanji, and Chopper were about to head towards the Rainbow Tower when they heard an explosion.
"What the...what's going on in there?!" Sanji questions, but panics as they saw the Rainbow Tower shows the series of cracks and dust appeared as it breaks apart, collapses down into the sea.
"The Rainbow Tower!" Chopper exclaims.
"It's collapsing!" Sanji adds.
After Wetton's men, the kids, Henzo, Flip, Lake, Ian, and the Straw Hats have witnessed the explosion of the Rainbow Tower, they began to realize that Wetton only wants a treasure and leaving his former crew behind. Wetton is nothing but a cruel and heartless man who only cares about himself and the treasure. And with the Rainbow Tower destroyed by Wetton, they don't have a way to get out of the Rainbow Mist.
"Dammit! What the hell is going on now?" Zoro said with a serious look.
"He abandoned us!" Ian exclaims with a glare, earned their attention when they saw him holing Flip around his shoulder. "Wetton, damn you! No real pirate Captain would do something like that! No way!"
Then, Rapanui merged out of the water with Luffy around his shoulder.
"Luffy!" Nami said with a smile while Henzo was left in shock.
"Rapanui!" Pukau adds.
"It's Rapanui!" Rongo said.
"He came back to Us." Akibi said with a smile.
"Oh, thank goodness, Rapanui." Isoka adds with relief.
"Oh man, I was worried about him, too." Usopp said, smiled while in tears as he wipes it out of his eye as Rapanui swam towards the boat.
"I'm sick of this mayor, how big of a pain can one guy be?!" Zoro scoffed as he grabs hold of Luffy while Akibi grabs Rapanui.
Suddenly, the Rainbow Mist began to tremor as it let out a loud thunderous roar which gotten Henzo's attention when he realizes something is terribly wrong.
"Wh-What the..." Henzo muttered, but widen his eyes in horror. "It can't be!"
"Professor?" Robin called him curiously.
"This isn't good at all! Apes Concert maintains only a very delicate balance to begin with. If you set off an explosion like that one in a place like this, there's no telling what might happen next." Henzo explains as he looks at the sky, but panics when he noticed the Rainbow Mist is ripping apart when it showing the image of the sea.
"What is that?!" Zoro questions, looking at the sky.
"The wrapping of space and time is expanding quickly!" Henzo exclaims. "At this rate, we'll get caught up in it and we'll all die!"
"What?!" Usopp yelled in panic.
Ruluka Island
Back at the docks, Caius, Sanji, and Chopper were extremely stunned that the Rainbow Tower is destroyed by the hands of Wetton, but a former pirate failed to realize that the Rainbow Mist is about to collapse because of his foolish plan on leaving his men, his family, the kids, and the Straw Hats in there by using a lighter to explode without any second thoughts or thinking things through.
"How did this happen? The Rainbow Tower has...completely suck below the water!" Sanji exclaims.
Then, Wetton merged out of the water after being knocked out from the explosion he caused.
"Damn! The Tower was never totally finished. It wasn't strong enough for this, but that doesn't matter now. Every last little bit of the treasure will be mine! My men aren't going to be able to go after me now!" Wetton states with a smirk, laughing when he felt a shoulder was grabbed as he turned his head, noticing an angry Dragoon.
"Did you forget about me while thinking you've got away for that stunt you pulled?!" Ventus snarled angrily, began beating Wetton to a pulp.
Rainbow Mist
Back at the Rainbow Mist, the sky is beginning to get worse, and time isn't on their side.
"The sky is falling fast!" Henzo warned them. "There isn't much time! Maybe an hour top!"
"Alright, we have to get outta here!" Usopp points out.
"Yeah, but how do we do that?" Nami questions when Robin goes through the book she's holding.
"The author of this book once visited Apes Concert. So, let's look through it, he must talk about the way out somewhere in here." Robin said, goes through the pages which got her gasp.
"What's wrong?" Usopp asks, turns to her as she closes the book.
"It must be in the next volume though." Robin said with a glare.
"You have it, right?" Usopp asks hopefully, but Robin shook her head. "OH CRAAAAAAP!?"
Rapanui was searching around the Rainbow Mist to find a way out, but he noticed the mist revealed an image of the sun setting at Ruluka Island.
"What now?" Luffy groans, turning to Rapanui.
"Look! Over there!" Rapanui shouts as they turned to where he's looking at. "That light over there, it's the setting sun."
"The sun?!" Usopp repeats.
"That's right, the light of the sun is shining through a crack in space." Rapanui explains. "Luffy and I followed that light earlier and we ended up outside."
"You did?!" Usopp exclaims surprisingly.
"We need to hurry!" Henzo informed them. "That light could be disappearing at any time now!"
"Unfurl the sails and everyone else, row the oars as hard as you can!" Nami ordered as they head down to the cabin to find the oars.
"Why don't guys come give us a hand, too! We're trying to get outta here, now!" Zoro suggested.
Soon as Ian, Flip, Lake, and Wetton's former men joined with the Straw Hats, the kids, and Henzo, Nami starts whistling while they began rowing towards the light. But unfortunately, they've been rowing around in circles and neither of them are working together.
"What are you doing?! Row right, okay?!" Zoro grunts.
"We are rowing right, thank you!" Lake retorted.
While they continue rowing towards the light, the oars got stuck as it began to snap into two, causing them to scream in panic and it left them stranded.
"Look you guys, the light is starting to disappear!" Usopp shouts, points at the light as they turn towards it.
"So, this is how it ends." Henzo muttered in horror.
"You guys get off and push us from behind." Zoro said, turns to them.
"You're crazy!?" Flip exclaims.
"If you all kick your feet really hard, it fight work." Luffy told them with his arms crossed, earned a white eyes and shark-like teeth from Wetton's former crew.
"NO WAY!?"
"What we really need is a tailwind to blow us." Nami said seriously, turns her head toward the main mast which Rapanui thought of an idea.
"So, all that need is some wind?" Rapanui asks as he jumps off the ship, diving into the sea.
"Hold on! What are you planning?" Nami shouts with a question, turns to Rapanui.
"I'm gonna blow up our ship." Rapanui answered, swimming toward the Marine ship. "It was originally a Marine ship, after all. So, it's fully loaded with explosives. If I light those, the explosion should give you a pretty good tailwind."
"You can't!" Akibi protests.
"Wait, Rapanui! Don't do it!" Henzo shouts. "If you blow up the ship, then what's going to happen to you?!"
Though, Rapanui didn't care about that since he need to help them get out of the Rainbow Mist by using the explosives from the inside of the Marine ship. He continued swimming towards the ship on his own, ignoring their pleas.
Ruluka Island
After Ventus beaten Wetton, he threw him right towards the dock and leaving him beaten, bloodied, bruised, and battered. Ventus was about to finish him when Chopper ram Wetton from behind, sent him flying towards the ground while Sanji kicks him in air as he crashed against the treasures. Wetton slowly looked around, noticing Sanji, Caius, Ventus, and Chopper given him a cold glare which got him panicked.
"Hey, our friends were somewhere inside that Mist. Would you like to explain what happened to them? You better not tell me you and Ventus came back out!" Sanji snarled angrily. "Answer me!"
Wetton can only give them a silent respond, but about to grab hold of the silver plate when the Voidsent grabs his wrist from behind. Wetton turn as he panicked when he saw a Voidsent.
"It's better if I start explain since he's not doing it." Ventus said as he start given them an explanation.
Rainbow Mist
While they watch Rapanui swam toward the Marine ship alone, Pukau, Isoka, Rongo, and Akibi were having the same ideas as they started walking towards the wooden rails which it got Usopp and Henzo's attention. Isoka, Aikibi, Pukau, and Rongo jump out of the ship as they dive down into the sea.
"Hey! What are you doing?! Come back here!" Usopp shouts as he and Henzo leaned against the wooden railing.
"We can't do that! We're Pumpkin Pirates, too!" Pukau points out.
"We're all friends! We all swore we would live and die together!" Akibi adds as they began swimming towards the Marine ship.
"They're going." Usopp muttered.
"Rapanui is planning on blowing up the ship because he wants to save us all! Don't let his sacrifice be for nothing!" Henzo shouts with a warning. "Do you all wanna die?!"
It got them stop as they turned to Henzo.
"No, we aren't going to die?!" Isoka remarked, making Henzo shocked. "Henzo, I promise you that we're going to come back! Whatever happens, we're coming back to Ruluka somehow!"
Henzo is now shocked that his friends were making a promise that they'll return to Ruluka Island and take down Wetton.
Ruluka Island
After Ventus finished given Sanji, Chopper, and Caius an explanation, it got them furious that Wetton is behind this by destroying the Rainbow Tower, leaving his own men, Henzo, the kids, and the Straw Hats stranded on the Rainbow Mist. They were about to give them a beating when Wetton spoke.
"You better pay your taxes for assaulting the mayor! The 'hitting the mayor' taxes! 90 million berries! Are you okay with that?" Wetton told them.
"We don't give a damn about your so-called taxes!" Ventus snarled angrily. "I'd rather serve your head on a silver platter!"
"But why?! Paying taxes is a duty!" Wetton protests.
"Pirates aren't exactly regular tax paying citizens, you know." Sanji points out.
"Th-yeah, that's true." Wetton said when Sanji made a valid point.
"Sanji! Ventus! Caius!" Chopper called them, earned their attention. "The Mist is disappearing, do you see?"
Sanji, Caius, and Ventus turns to the Rainbow Mist which Chopper was right, saw the mist disappearing.
"Oh no, what's going to happen to Luffy and the others now?" Chopper asks, feeling worried when Wetton laughed.
"Now, none of them will get to come back at Apes Concert, not ever! No matter what you people try, you can't beat me! I am Mayor Wetton, and you are completely powerless to stop me!" Wetton shouts triumphantly with a smirk, laughed.
But unknown to them, the Rainbow Mist had appeared from the sky when the Marine ship explodes, causing the Going Merry to fly towards the mist which it main mast was about to tumble because of the tailwind along with the figurehead. But when they heard a loud tailwind sound, Chopper, Ventus, and Caius turned their heads towards the Rainbow Mist.
"Sanji?!" Chopper shouts in shock.
"What the?!" Sanji exclaims, shocked.
"No way!?" Wetton adds.
And then, the Going Merry flew out of the Rainbow Mist as it began to fly over the island, which the civilian saw the ship in shock, and land into the sea. But soon as the ship slows down from the sailing, the main mast tumbled down into the waters along with the figurehead.
"The Going Merry!?" Chopper exclaims shockingly.
"I hope everyone is okay." Sanji said with worry.
"It'll take for than that to kill them." Ventus points out.
The Rainbow Mist then began to suck the mansion along with the treasures Wetton just stole, who's in shock and in dismay.
"My mansion!" Wetton shouts, watch the Rainbow Mist sucking the mansion while the money flies down. "Everything I owned is being sucked away into the sky by among things."
The people of Ruluka Island were shock and awed when they saw the Rainbow Mist along with the money as it then vanished. They then turned, and saw the Straw Hats, Henzo, and Wetton's crew made it into the shore. Ventus, Sanji, and Chopper were happy to see their crew made it out alive, but Usopp however, cried when he saw the Going Merry is badly damaged.
"Hey guys, long time, no see." Luffy said, waving his hand.
And just as Sanji and Chopper rush towards to their crew, Nami can only respond by bonking Sanji in the head, sent him crashing in the ground. Chopper can only stop with a flinch.
"I'm so annoyed, I can scream!" Nami growled with steam coming out of her ears, stormed away while leaving Sanji with a bump on his head and blood stream down in between his head and his nose.
"But why, Nami dear?" Sanji groaned.
"Um, is there something I wanna know?" Ventus asks.
"All of the treasure she had on deck had blown away." Usopp explains quietly, approaching the young Dragoon. "And she hasn't taken it very well. So, I wouldn't get too close to her right now if I was you."
But suddenly, they heard a cannon fire when they turned and saw the Marine ship at the shore.
"Alright, pirates, that's far enough!" The voice of Rapanui shouts.
"Marines!" Sanji said with a glare as he and Usopp turns to the Marines.
"And it's the same ones who're chasing us." Usopp adds as Rapanui approaches to them.
'That scent...it's...Rapanui...' Ventus mentally thought in shock, caught his scent.
"Please help us, sir!" Flip pleads, rushes to him. "These people are terrible criminals! They've stolen everything that our towns great mayor owns!"
"That's not true!" Ventus said, earned their attention. "Flip and Lake were working with Wetton for tax extortion, and using the Rainbow Tower to get into Apes Concert for treasure. As you're aware, Major Rapanui, they were also using Henzo for their selfish gain."
"Yes, I'm aware, your highness, but let me do my job." Rapanui suggested, grabbed Flips hand when he notices the ring on his finger. "Let's see, this is the ring of Princess Illusia, it was stolen by pirates years ago. And here it is, sitting on your finger now. Why do you have this?"
Flip tried to make an excuse, but Rapanui cuts in.
"You didn't steal it now, did you?" Rapanui questions.
"No, or course not! This was a treasure that was resting inside Apes Concert!" Flip protests, quickly stands up when Lake was next to his father.
"Yes, yes, he's right!" Lake agrees. "We just pulled it out of the shipwreck, that's all!"
"I see." Rapanui said. "So, what you're saying then is that this ring here doesn't belong to anyone?"
"What?!" Flip and Lake exclaims when Isoka, Rongo, and Pukau arrived.
"Major, we've discovered a substantial pile of treasure that we believe was carried out of there." Isoka informed him with a salute.
"Right." Rapanui replied. "Well then, the Marines will be confiscating all of it."
"Hold it! You better not so much as lay a finger on my treasure!" Wetton shouts, approaches while holding his axe. "It's mine! All of it! Mine!"
"Any treasure that is found without any official owner is the property of the World Government, and if it's obtained illegally, that will be considered an act of piracy." Rapanui informed them.
"Fine with me! I'm really a pirate anyway!" Wetton snarled angrily as he raise his axe. "Anything I want, I can just take it by force!"
Ventus was about to stop Wetton when Isoka placed her hand on his shoulder while Rapanui stops the attack with his finger.
"Let's considered that your confession, shall we? If that's okay with you, pirate Captain Wetton." Rapanui told him with a smirk, leaving Wetton confused.
And with that, Rapanui flicked Wetton against his forehead as he was sent flying towards the ground, knocked out. Henzo then looked at Rapanui and the Marines with deep shock, realizing of who they were.
"No, no, it can't be!?" Henzo exclaimed when Rapanui took off his sunglasses with a chuckle. "Rapanui!"
It got the Straw Hats, except Ventus, shocked that the Marines were actually Henzo's friends.
"I promised we come back to Ruluka, didn't I?" Isoka said with a smile, approaches next to Rapanui and Ventus.
"Isoka?!" Henzo muttered, earned a nod from her.
"Okay, take Wetton's gang into custody." Rapanui ordered.
And with that, the Marines began apprehending Wetton, Flip, Lake, Ian, and the group of men who worked with Wetton, taking them to the ship.
"You're alive and you're a lot older. How'd that happen?" Usopp questions.
"When the explosion happened, we were thrown into the outside world, just like all of you were. Except there was one little difference, we end up in the world of 50 years ago." Rapanui explains when he turns to him.
"I see, the Rainbow Mist must've wrapped the access of time as well as space." Robin states with understanding.
"Indeed." Caius agrees.
"Then why didn't you come here sooner?" Henzo asks.
"We knew that we needed to figure out a way to defeat and punish Wetton. I thought that we need help though, so, we all decided to enlist with the Marines to use their power, but earning a high enough rank to have the authority to come here at will took more time than I'd expected." Rapanui explains.
"It make sense now." Henzo said with an understanding.
"I maybe wearing a uniform of the Marines, but in my heart, I'm still a Pumpkin Pirate to the death." Rapanui told him which left Henzo in tears. "Henzo, I'm still your friend, too. Forever under the same flag."
The Straw Hat pirates smiled of the reunion which cut short when Rapanui's expression turns to serious.
"Also, I may have forgotten to mention this to the Straw Hats, but you're all under arrest." Rapanui told them which causes them to flinch in panic when he turns to Ventus. "And as for you, Prince Ventus, you're coming with us to Ishgard. We need you to come quietly and not making this harder."
"You're heartless!" Usopp shouts, hides Zoro from behind with white eyes and shark-like teeth. "You still owe me for feeding you that time, you jerk! Remember?!"
"Even if you do this by force, I'm not coming back to Ishgard after what I have learned." Ventus adds with a scowl, readied his lance. "And for that, I'm not backing down without a fight!"
"As a Marine, I'm in charge with upholding justice. I can't just let a pirate with a bounty on his head get away." Rapanui told him. "However, it can't be!? Right now, we have got to take Wetton and his crew back to Marine Headquarters, but if we do that, the Straw Hat pirates will be able to slip away! Not to mention having Prince Ventus left with the hands of pirates and never get a chance to have him return to Ishgard! They are just too much for us to handle now! What are we going to do?! I know, request assistance from the Marine Base at once, but no! They would arrive until tomorrow or the next day at the earliest! That will give the pirates plenty of time to escape! Ugh, dammit!? I guess there's nothing I can do now!?"
Rapanui then began to scream as he ran back into the Marine ship.
"Very convincing, isn't he?" The Straw Hat asks sarcastically with deadpan expression.
"I guess he never thought about this." Caius said with a sigh.
The next day, the Straw Hat pirates began to sail out of Ruluka Island and heading towards the sea. Though, they're about to make some repairs for the damage which it's not permanent, but enough to keep the waters out of the ship. Also, they have a new crew member which was Caius the Reaper of Ul'dah, after he gives them an explanation of why he's here at the island and convincing them to join the pirate crew.
"Thank you so much, Luffy, and all of your friends as well." Henzo said with a smile, watching the Straw Hats leave the island. "Now, my years of research and invention can finally come to an end."
However, the civilians approached at the shore which it got Henzo's attention. They're convincing Henzo to stay and make some inventions whenever the Rainbow Mist arrived, so they can avoid for getting sucked into the mist. It got Henzo smiled and happily help the civilians since he's no longer being Wetton's dog.
Rapanui, Isoka, Rongo, Akibi, and Pukau gave the Straw Hats a salute as a gratitude for saving the island from the hands of Wetton as they wave them farewell while continuing to sail.
"Inside the Rainbow Mist is a land of eternity. It has neither daytime nor nighttime, one would never become sick or old. The sea shines like a sparkling emerald, and the sky envelopes the area like a warm blanket. The countless ships that became trapped inside the Rainbow Mist had immeasurable treasure resting within them. It was truly the last paradise remaining anywhere in the world. We ruled that land of eternity, it was ours. We routed the pirates that invaded and kept peace and paradise. Our name was the Pumpkin Pirates. I'm writing this book to record that many unusual adventures that we had while we dwelled inside the Rainbow Mist. I hope that this volume will help the adventurers who will visit this land in the future. And so, this book is dedicated to the people who's debt we are in for having lead us back into the world. The Straw Hat Pirates."
Somewhere at sea
Luffy and the Straw Hats were now continuing to sail towards the sea as he spoke.
"You know what? That place was pretty awesome, wasn't it?" Luffy asks with a smile.
"Uh, I think I've had enough of that ship graveyard." Nami points out.
"And visiting there is a bad idea." Ventus adds.
"He has a point there." Chopper agrees when the debris falls into the sky.
"Is that rain?" Zoro asks, stops lifting dumbbells.
"No way, this ain't rain." Sanji told him.
"No, those were wood." Caius adds as they looked up at the sky, but noticed that the ruined ship is falling towards them.
"That's interesting, it's look like a...oh..."
The Straw Hat pirates began to panic when they a ship fallen down into the sea, causing them to scream in panic.
