Minutes after Dark Weiss and Esdeath Teamed Up
"Can't this fly any faster?" Dark Weiss asked impatiently, pacing around the back of the ship.
"We are in no hurry. Relax." Esdeath said.
"One other question. Why does HE have to sit in the front?" She asked, referring to the KO'd Whitley.
"He is a Schnee, they get proper treatment."
"Oh, is that all?"
"Well, the back seats aren't all that comfortable. Wouldn't exactly do him any good."
Dark Weiss rolled her eyes. "I see…"
"Hmm…" Esdeath put the airship on auto-pilot and turned around. "Tell me more about yourself, Dark Weiss. Last I checked from the Schnees, their youngest is Weiss… so imagine my surprise when I find out that they suddenly have twin girls. It's easy to tell you two apart though." She said with a chuckle.
"Well, I wasn't born like most humans are. I was born from the Mirror of Truth, a mirror that can make copies of the Underworld Army. Pandora thought it was a good idea to copy RWBY… and I was born after Weiss' image. Dark Pit was the same way, but considering Pit destroyed the Mirror of Truth, he is incomplete. He's not truly evil like we are, he does whatever he wants and… usually hangs out with the "heroes". Ugh… if only he joined us."
"Born from a mirror, hmm? Not exactly born legitimately…" Esdeath mused. So from what I'm hearing… you're an abomination. She thought, scowling at the thought.
"I was born to fight Weiss… kill her even. When she's gone, there will be only one Weiss left in this world… and it'd be me."
"Tell me something. You're a reflection of Weiss, are you not? So, if she were to die… wouldn't you perish as well?"
"No. We are complete copies. Dark Pit is the bastard child… if Pit dies, so does he. If any of our "lighter" selves die, then we will still be alive."
"I see." Esdeath mused. "So where is this… Pandora?"
Dark Weiss smirked. "Inside of us. We took her remains and now we have Pandora's powers. We don't use our Amazon powers that often though… we just use our natural abilities."
"Pandora's remains?"
"Yes, she was a ball of flame, but we took her for ourselves. However, only two of us remain. Dark Yang was erased by time and Dark Blake was boiled alive in a volcano."
"So, I'm curious about something. Say if all four of you die… what happens after that?"
"If I were to take a guess… then Pandora will come back alive as Amazon Pandora." Dark Weiss said.
"Fascinating. Mmm, I imagine this "Pandora" isn't all that cracked up to be. She doesn't sound so tough."
Dark Weiss smirked. "You're right, Pandora was weak. We are stronger than her. Oooh, I can imagine that if one of us was left, we can call upon the lost Amazonian powers and… become something greater when we absorb said powers."
Esdeath smirked a bit. "Then I imagine these heroes will have a hell of a time."
"You got that right." Dark Weiss said with a chuckle.
"Fascinating… simply… fascinating." Esdeath let out a chuckle. "I wonder what it'd be like if I were to have these powers for myself… ah, forgive me, I was lost in thought."
"Don't worry about it."
"Back on the topic, you want to kill Weiss, correct?"
"Yes."
"Then I will help you." Esdeath said with a smile as Dark Weiss smiled back and then turned around.
"That bitch won't know what'll hit her." She chuckled devilishly as Esdeath's smile disappeared and turned into a scowl.
I could say the same to you. Esdeath thought when suddenly the alarm went off. "Hmm?" She wondered as she walked over to the radar. "…What is this?" She wondered.
"What in the name of…?" Dark Weiss wondered as she looked outside to see Shroob UFOs flying toward them. "We got company!" She said as one UFO aimed and fired at the ship. "Ack!"
"Fire at me, will you?" Esdeath smirked. "Oh, you just made the biggest mistake of your life." She said as she pushed a button, opening up the hatch before her.
"Are you crazy?!" Dark Weiss yelled.
"Just a little bit." Esdeath responded. "Take control of the ship. I'll take these things down." She said.
BGM: Yami o Kiru (Akame Ga Kill)
"I don't even know how to fly this thing!"
"It'll be easy!" Esdeath said as she took a running star and leapt out of the hatch, quickly using her Ice Magic to conjure up an Ice Phoenix, then she flew up and confronted the UFOs. The UFOs responded by firing lasers at her, but her ice phoenix gracefully flew out of harms way as Esdeath stood up and conjured up an icy bow and arrow. She aimed at the UFOs and fired an arrow, piercing through the UFO as it exploded as a few other UFOs looked at their fallen companion in shock.
"Consider that a warning." Esdeath said. "Do you boys want to retreat?" She asked as the UFOs responded by aiming their lasers directly at Esdeath. She simply smirked at them. "Good. Let's have some fun." She said as the Ice Phoenix flew toward the UFOs, gracefully avoiding the laser shots as the Ice Phoenix's wings glistened in the moonlight as it sliced through the UFOs with its sharp ice feathers, as they exploded behind her.
Esdeath would turn her head and notice several more UFOs would be firing at the ship, as Dark Weiss was trying her hardest to avoid the lasers while also keeping the ship steady with little success. "Goodness, it's like watching a toddler learning how to ride a unicycle." Esdeath said in amusement as she flew over and destroyed more of the UFOs with the simplest of ease. She then brought out a walkie talkie from her hip. "How are you holding up?"
"Terrific! Thanks for asking!" Dark Weiss said sarcastically. "It's like trying to control a rampaging bull!"
"You'll get the hang of it." Esdeath would say and then spotted something. "Dark Weiss. Go left. You're about to fly into Lancer territory." She said.
"What's a Lancer?"
"Grimm you do not want to mess with. Go left!"
"Okay." Dark Weiss said… but turned right instead.
"No, my left!" Esdeath corrected.
"YOU TRY CONTROLLING THIS THING ON YOUR FIRST GO!"
"Correction… it's like watching a toddler learning how to drive a Ferrari in a mine field…" Esdeath shook her head as she saw the Lancers fly over toward the group. "Welp, guess I'll have to save the day." She said as she flew directly to the Lancers as some of them turned to Esdeath and fired their harpoon-like stingers at her but she and the ice phoenix gracefully avoided the attack as Esdeath jumped up in the air, conjuring up an icy greatsword and slashed down, cutting a Lancer clean in half.
One Lancer aimed at Esdeath and fired at her, but she conjured up an ice shield to block it, the harpoon impaling the shield but stopping, the stinger inches from her eyes but she didn't flinch as she did away with the shield and then formed a harpoon of her own and threw it at the Lancer, impaling it on the head and destroying it. One Lancer came up behind her and fired its harpoon, impaling the phoenix as it let out a pained cry. She turned around, summoning another harpoon and throwing it, impaling it in the head to kill it.
"Um, Esdeath? We got some big ass wasp in front of us!"
Esdeath turned to see a Queen Lancer approaching them after killing some more Lancers. "Ah, the queen came out to play." She said with a smirk as the Queen Lancer fired projectiles at the both of them, as the ship tried to manuever, but considering Dark Weiss was at the helm, the ship got hit hard while Esdeath shielded herself from the projectiles, one projectile just nicking her cheek. Esdeath summoned the ice bow and arrow again and fired several shots, impaling the Queen Lancer to get her attention. The Queen Lancer lunged directly at Esdeath to tackle her, but she had her phoenix fly down to avoid the Lancer Queen tackling her. It turned around and more projectiles at her as Esdeath quickly conjured up a reflective ice mirror to reflect them back, but some of them went over the mirror and hit the ship in the process, one of them hitting an engine.
"SHIT! Esdeath, I'm hit! I'm going down!"
"Keep her steady. I'll be there soon!" Esdeath said as the Queen Lancer charged at Esdeath. "That's it… a little closer." She smirked as the Lancer Queen fired projectiles as Esdeath launched herself off of the Phoenix and landed on top of the Queen Lancer, riding on her back as it tried to shake her off, but she held strong. "I think it's time for to cool off." She said, placing her hands on the queen's neck and freezing the entire Grimm solid. She then hopped down and landed on her phoenix as she snapped her fingers, the Queen Lancer exploding into ice chunks as some of them hit a few Lancers nearby. "That should send the colony scrambling." She said as she flew down.

"Nnngh! No no no no no! Don't fall head first! Lean back! Aaaagh!" Dark Weiss pleaded, unaware of Esdeath flying beside her as she aimed down and fired her magic at the ground, creating a blanket of snow for Dark Weiss to crash into as she slid on the ground and came to a gentle stop… right after crashing into a few trees. "Oooogh…" She groaned as Esdeath hopped off her phoenix after landing and walked into the ship. Dark Weiss shook it off and looked at Esdeath walking in. "How… how'd I do?"
"Honestly? A baby would have made a better flier than you." Esdeath said, picking up Whitley.
"Oh… ouch… but how was the landing?"
"I give it… 9/10."
"Really?" Dark Weiss' eyes sparkled.
"…Oh, did I say 9/10? I meant 0.9/10."
"Ouch…" Dark Weiss pouted as they walked out. "Welp… that's destroyed… now what? Do we walk?"
"No." Esdeath dismissed her Phoenix and then conjured up an ice horse for them to ride on, with a sled for Whitley to ride on.
"That'll work." Dark Weiss said as Esdeath and Dark Weiss got on the horse as it rode off.
"So, what's the plan when we get to the Mushroom Kingdom?" Esdeath asked.
"Well, first, I'm going to find and kidnap her mother, then I will fight Weiss to the death where I will then use her mother to bait her to stop fighting me. Then you come in and we fight her together where I deal the final blow and you shatter her remains." Dark Weiss smirked. "It's foolproof!"
Esdeath let out a chuckle. "You had it all figured out, hmm?"
"Yes. This plan will work… nothing will stop us."
Esdeath scowled. You sicken me… She thought as she let out a chuckle. "Very well, let's go through with that plan. Though I can't help but wonder if there's a fatal flaw to your plan."
"What flaw?"
"What makes you so sure this plan of yours is 100% foolproof? Weiss might have a trick up her sleeve."
"Pffft, yeah right. She won't. With the both of us, we're unstoppable. She'll be dead within minutes. What's the worst that can happen?" Dark Weiss chuckled as they rode off to the Mushroom Kingdom.
This chapter was originally going to be showing off how Xena became mentally unstable and show off her first battle with King Bob-omb, but a friend talked me out of it, pointing out that it'd be kinda pointless since i've showed off her backstory in Super RWBY 64, then showed off tidbits of it in Superstar Saga and then writing out Dark Xena's side of the story in Healing of the Soul. It'd be kinda pointless and unnecessary, treading old ground, as he said. I didn't think of it much, but when he pointed it out, I was like "Shoot, he's right. There'd be nothing new to tell." Sooooo, I went ahead and reworked it into this lovely beauty. Didn't exactly break my heart to get rid of it all, I was only a few lines into the chapter before it was reworked so... nothing of value was lost!
Also, history has been made when I was playing 3D All-Stars. I actually beat that monstrosity you call the Pachinko Machine... on my first try, of all tries. Something I could never do on the Gamecube all those years ago because I couldn't even beat that level. Hooray! Now I can actually complete Sunshine for once. ...I know, not exactly important to this chapter, but honestly, I was just so excited... I had to tell someone! ...Besides my friends on Discord, of course. Pffft.
