A Few Days After The Universe Was Restored
Rosalina walked toward an old abandoned home with Ruby and Yang behind her. "This is it." Rosalina said after she stopped walking. Ruby and Yang looked at the old abandoned building with her.
"Is this…?" Ruby began to ask.
"Yes… this is my original home." Rosalina nodded, as they stared at the aging home.
BGM: Kairi III (Kingdom Hearts)
Windows were cracked, parts of the roof were missing, some cobwebs were underneath the roof, parts of the chimney were broken, some of the paint was chipped off, and even some vegetation was growing around it. "Still standing through the test of time." Rosalina quietly said.
"Definitely a fixer upper…"Yang quietly said as they walked toward the front door. Rosalina would reach for the door knob but hesitated, taking a deep breath as she put her hand on the door knob. She softly turned it and slowly opened the door as it creaked loudly. Rosalina walked in as Yang and Ruby went in with her. Ruby slowly closed the door as she turned around to rejoin Yang and Rosalina… when suddenly the door fell off its hinges and landed inches from Ruby's heels.
"Yah!" Ruby yelped as Yang and Rosalina turned toward the door. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay." Rosalina told her with a soft smile. "For centuries, my home has withstood the test of time, except for that door in particular. Every time I put it back up, it eventually falls every time it's used. Don't worry, you're not the first one for that door to fall off its hinges."
"Why didn't it fall when you opened it?" Yang asked.
"Honestly… I can never understand why."
"Probably poor quality wood and a lot of rust." Yang guessed.
"You're probably right." Rosalina nodded as they turned around and looked into the living room. Cobwebs and dust were everywhere, a Scaredy Rat was running around as a few Swoops were hanging from the ceiling, a few Scuttlebugs were wandering around the cobwebs. Wallpaper were coming off the walls, the floor creaked loudly with each step. They went into the kitchen and saw the same result. Broken fridge, old cabinet doors barely on their hinges, the faucet on the sink was missing. A table looked like it was about to give in at any second.
They would wander into Rosalina's old bed room where they saw a creaky old bed filled with stuffed animals. A desk was old and dusty, the windows in the room were cracked as when they would look out the window, they would see a destroyed patio with tall grass outside.
"This is sad…" Ruby quietly said as she sat on the bed with Rosalina. "After all this time… even if it withstood the test of time, it's in poor condition."
"I know…" Rosalina let out a sigh, looking up at the ceiling where there were parts of it missing. Rosalina would glance over and spot a guitar leaning against a wall.
"Happy birthday, sweetie."
"Oh my gosh! A guitar! I've always wanted this! Thanks mom!"
"You're welcome, honey."
Rosalina aimed her hand at it, telekinetically bringing it over to her. "Oh, you played guitar?" Yang asked.
"Yang, she rocked out on Guitar Hero." Ruby responded. "What was that song again… Through the… Flames and Fire? No wait, that's not it…"
"I know, but I mean the actual guitar."
"Ooooh…"
"Yeah, I played a lot of it back in the day. I've been meaning to take this with me every time I would come back, but I would always forget about it." She said as she strummed the guitar and played a few notes, when suddenly one of the strings snapped off. "Oh!" She said in surprise. "…Yeah, this thing's old." She said with a chuckle.
"So… what now?" Ruby wondered.

"Why, we give it a makeover, of course!" A voice said as they turned to see Palutena leaning in the doorway. "Sorry, I would have knocked but the front door's busted."
"Came to check in on her?" Yang asked, deciding to sit on the desk.
"Bingo." Palutena nodded. "So, what do you say, Rosie? You wanna give this place some love?"
Rosalina let out a small gasp. "You mean…"
"Exactly. This place needs a lot of love." She winked. "I could bring over the Super Mario Makers."
"And have a Thwomp chase everyone around?" Yang folded her arms. "Yeah, Weiss had some horror stories to share."
"They were just testing the durability. If it helps, I'll make it a personal request not to do any of those shenanigans."
"Hmm…" Rosalina folded her arms. "If we're going to give my home some love, I personally want the house to be the way it is. Sure, I wouldn't mind a few extra rooms, but I don't want a second story home or anything."
"Keeping it classy? Sounds good to me." Palutena grinned.
"Alright, let's get this house back to the way it was!" Ruby said.
"Yeah!" Yang grinned, when suddenly the desk gave in underneath Yang. "WAAAH!" Thud! "Oooow… I'm okay!"
Thirty minutes later…
The Super Mario Makers truck came pulling in. "You guys rang?" Mario asked as they hopped out.
"Yeah, we're gonna spruce up Rosie's house. Make it look special!" Palutena said.
"You got it!" Toadette smiled as they started to move toward the back.
"Whoa! Hold up now!" Yang said, catching the four's attention. "Let's not go too crazy like you did with Weiss's home."
"What are you talking about?" Blue Toad asked.
"She means that Rosalina wants it to be just like it was, but with more of a modern appeal to it." Palutena said. "Nothing new, just updating it. So no durability test."
"Whaaaaaaaat?!" Blue Toad yelled. "But… but… I love the durability test…" He sulked.
Toadette patted him on the back. "Maybe next time."
"Keeping it simple. I like that." Luigi said.
"Sounds good to me!" Mario nodded.
"Now then… let's get this place spruced up." Rosalina said as everyone nodded.
BGM: Title Theme - Super Mario Maker (Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS/Ultimate)
The quad opened up the truck as they walked inside and then pulled out gallons of paint and wallpaper, then handed everyone a paintbrush as they started to paint the outside walls blue. Luigi, meanwhile, jumped on the roof to fix the parts of the roof that needed fixing. However, as he landed on the roof, he went straight into it and crashed into a cobweb, where a few Scuttlebugs would web him up much to his chagrin. Mario would run in and free him while also destroying the Scuttlebugs.
Once the walls were painted blue, Toadette came over with windows and started to replace the cracked windows with new ones. Luigi pulled up a ladder and climbed up where he got on the roof with Mario as they started to replace the tiles with new ones. In the backyard, Ruby would cut through the tall grass with her scythe as Yang would come over with the lawnmower and finished what Ruby started. Blue Toad came in with a tire swing and wrapped it around a tree branch. He climbed up and then tied it up while Toadette chainsawed a few branches off the tree to make it look nicer.
In the home, Palutena held up two pictures for Rosalina if she wanted tiles or carpet for the floor. Rosalina selected the carpet and with a nod, Palutena pulled out another picture asking what color carpet she wanted, causing Rosalina to sweatdrop. She went with the red coloring as a few of her Lumas put up dark blue wallpaper as stars, comets, and galaxies were decorated on the walls. The old couches and chairs were hauled out by the Mario Bros as Yang and Dàhuô would come in with newer couches and chairs, even a coffee table.
Palutena would install electrical outlets in every room with the help of Mario where Luigi and Blue Toad hauled in a TV as they set it down on a small TV set. In the kitchen, Ruby and Yang tossed out the old food and beverages out while Dàhuô tossed out the old fridge while replacing it with a new one while Toadette put a new faucet into the sink. She turned on the water to watch it pour out… and then the faucet skyrocketed into the ceiling as water got everywhere and splashing Toadette as she quickly turned it off, spitting out some water with an annoyed look on her face as Ruby and Yang sweatdropped from behind her.
A new room was added next to Rosalina's room, which was a personal library for Rosalina to read, causing her eyes to sparkle as the Mario Bros placed books on the shelves while in the bathroom next door, Palutena polished everything while also replacing the bathtub, shower, toilet and the sink with newer models.
Rosalina helped polish the patio out back while Yang and Mario put a grill on the corner while Dàhuô put down a bench swing near the door as they saw Luigi, Ruby, Palutena and the Toads set up a play area for the Lumas to play in. Rosalina couldn't help but giggle at this as she put a telescope on the patio as well. She would then notice small holes in the ground as Mario installed automatic sprinklers into the ground.
Rosalina's bedroom was replaced with newer stuffed animals and a queen sized bed. The desk was also replaced with a much more stronger desk as there was also a newer lamp on it while also lights came on in all the rooms with even a chandelier in the dining room while a ceiling fan was in the living room.

"Good job everyone." Palutena said, staring at the new house before them.
"Definitely reminds me of the Observatory." Rosalina smiled.
"Ya know… I can't help but wonder if we forgot something." Yang said, and then they saw the front door falling on the ground. "Ooooh, riiiiight…"
"Whoops…" Ruby sweatdropped.
"I think we can get new hinges at the store." Luigi said.
"And a new door." Mario added.
"We'll go get it!" Blue Toad said as they hopped into the truck and rode off.
"I have to say… it looks amazing." Palutena smiled.
"It sure is." Rosalina nodded.
"My my, this looks beautiful." A voice said as they turned to see two people walking toward them. One looked neatly dressed while the other looked gothic and had a skull on the front of his shirt.
"Indeed it does." The gothic one spoke.
"Who are you?" Ruby asked.
"We… came from a world just like yours." The neatly dressed one responded.
"We are looking for the one who restored Remnant… and the universe."
"That is me." Rosalina spoke up. "Technically, the Lumas had a hand in it, but I may have had something to do with it too."
"I see. We thank you for restoring our beautiful world that we cherish so much."
"Our?" Palutena mouthed. Something felt off to her. The way the neatly dressed human said "our" disturbed her.
"To think that the balance of life and death was taken away by a supermassive black hole… but the balance was restored thanks to a savior. We never thought we would meet such a powerful goddess."
Life? Death? Palutena thought. She clenched her fists. Something was off.
Rosalina blushed. "I… wouldn't necessarily call myself a goddess… True, I may be immortal in the "never aging" category, but I don't think-"
"Ruby. Yang." Palutena spoke up. "Why don't you two go help out the Super Mario Makers? In fact… why don't you go to the clothing store? I'm sure Rosalina wouldn't mind a new look."
"Ya know, she would need something a little more modern." Yang said. "She can't wear the dress all the time."
"You make a good point!" Ruby nodded. "See ya!" She and Yang took off running, leaving the four alone.
Palutena turned to the duo, aiming her staff at the two. "Who are you? You don't just go spouting off the balance of life and death so casually! Reveal yourselves to us at once."
"Oh dear… it seems we have had a slip of the tongue, brother." The gothic one spoke.
"Indeed. It appears it's a force of habit." The neatly dressed one spoke. "Very well, we will show you who we are. Might we go into somewhere a little more private?"
"Sure. The house will work fine." Palutena said as they walked into the house and into the bedroom. "Alright, reveal yourselves." She ordered as the two nodded as they were enveloped in light and darkness. Rosalina let out a gasp as they revealed themselves.
BGM: End of the World (Kingdom Hearts)
"The Gods of Light and Darkness." Palutena scowled. "Or as some people call them... the Gods of Creation and Destruction."
"Indeed." The God of Light spoke. "We had originally come to speak with the one who restored Remnant after the universe collapsed. We had not anticipated someone to be with her… especially with one as godly as you."
"You two… I have some questions for you." Palutena said.
"SHE'S NOT THE ONLY ONE!" A voice yelled as a heavenly light appeared as Viridi walked out, aiming her scythe at the two with an angry scowl on her face.
I sense otherworldly beings nearby. A voice said in Palutena's mind. I know where you are. I am coming to your location.
Very well. Palutena thought as Mewtwo appeared in the room.
"You two…" Mewtwo scowled. "I did not come alone." He said as Shulk, Ike and Bayonetta were with him.
There was a knock on the bedroom window as Palutena opened the windows to reveal the Hands. "Hey, mind if you expand the room a little bit?" Crazy Hand asked.
"Certainly." Palutena said, snapping her fingers as the room they were in got bigger and wider, much to Rosalina's surprise.
"Thank you!" Crazy Hand said as he and Master Hand teleported in. There was another beam of light as Dyntos walked in as Arceus landed outside and knelt down as he peeked through the window.
"What is going on?" Rosalina sweatdropped. "Is this some kind of housewarming party tradition that I wasn't aware of?"
"My my, looks like we've attracted quite a crowd." The God of Darkness mused. "Though I question those three in particular." He said, referring to Shulk, Ike and Bayonetta.
"These three have killed gods before." Mewtwo said. "They're here in case if you do anything we don't like."
"My my! This looks like fun!" A voice said as Hades appeared out of a fiery portal, leaning on a wall.
"Butt out, Hades!" Viridi yelled.
"No can do, little cactus." Hades said as he leaned on a wall. "So, what's on the agenda?"
"You two." Mewtwo aimed his hand at the duo. "You have some nerve."
"Yeah, what's this all about with wiping out humanity?" Dyntos asked. "Surely there has to be a reason why."
"What the heck is going on here?!" Rosalina demanded to know.
"After we killed the God of Subspace, things were back to the way they were… or at least we thought." Ike spoke. "There was a distortion shortly after that merged the Mushroom Kingdom and Remnant."
"It wasn't the only thing that merged. Ozpin didn't notice this for he thought it was part of the Mushroom Kingdom, but the Smash Mansion had also been merged with Remnant. Sure, it was just a simple portal near Toad Town, but now this distortion changed that." Master Hand explained. "However, the other worlds like Gaur Plains, Crimea, Skyworld, the Pokemon world and many more are connected by portals. Due to an incident, portals are dropping people into our world… like Dante. Of course, there are instances where Smashers can bring others from different worlds as they are connected to their universe. For example, Ryu can bring in Phoenix Wright and Maya, or other such characters like Frank West, Chris Redfield and others if he so chooses. We always allow visitors, so this doesn't bother us too much."
"What does bother us is you!" Crazy Hand said.
"Brother, please. Calm down." Master Hand requested.
"I know Ozpin asked of me to keep this a secret… however, I did not anticipate that you would know of this." Mewtwo said.
"Oh, we know." Viridi said.
"Rosalina." Arceus spoke up. "If you are not aware, then allow us to explain."
"No. Let us." The God of Light spoke. "A long time ago, a young maiden by the name of Salem came to me and asked if I could revive her loved one that she had lost. I took pity on her, but I had explained to her that it would mess up the delicate balance of life and death. Salem did not take this lightly, and so she went to my brother where he had revived Ozma. However, I caught wind of this and immediately reversed it. Despite us having creative differences, he is my brother and I would not allow anyone to pit us against each other for their own selfish reasons. When he had learned that Salem was responsible for this action, I decided to take drastic measures… and dunked her into my fountain where I gave her a simple curse. Immortality."
"Do not mistake this as your own immortality, Rosalina." The God of Light spoke to her. "Yours is quite different than ours. The Star Spirits granted you immortality so that you may live after you decided to live in space. This was after the Luma turned himself into a comet. Your immortality is a gift and should be cherished. However, Salem's in quite different."
"Indeed. She cannot die and the curse cannot be reversed until she had learned not to mess with the delicate balance of life and death. However, we did not anticipate her own lesson… that being that man can be easily swayed. Once Salem sent a small army to try and defeat us… we did the only thing we could."
"That was to wipe out humanity and take away all magic on Remnant." Palutena scowled.
"WHAT?!" Rosalina yelled in horror.
"Oh wow! If it was that easy to do, I would have done something about it a long time ago." Hades smirked.
"ZIP IT!" Viridi yelled.
"Indeed." The God of Light nodded. "However, because of Salem's curse, she was the only one spared and we departed. We also left a huge hole in the moon."
"Why did you do something like that?" Bayonetta wondered.
"It was in our way." The God of Darkness responded.
"Of course it was…" Shulk mumbled to himself.
"So you left Salem by herself to live alone in Remnant?" Rosalina wondered, feeling sorry for Salem.
"Not necessarily. She had the Grimm to keep her company." The God of Darkness responded.
"Even so, she would still try to find a way to defy us." The God of Light explained as he snapped his fingers to show everyone an image of what Salem used to look like. "She soon found her way into my brother's home, and she thought by jumping into his pool, that she would get rid of her immortality. However, it did something else to her. She turned herself into a Grimm." He said, as Salem's image changed into what she had become.
"Oh my gosh…" Rosalina whispered, her hand over her mouth.
"Damn…" Ike quietly said.
"As Salem traversed the world, I had visited Ozma in the afterlife and explained that Salem is walking around Remnant while my brother destroyed humanity, but the world remained. I explained to him that we chose to depart this world, and humanity will be a fraction of what they once were. However, I showed him four relics… physical manifestations of the four gifts of humanity." He showed them a crown, a lamp, a staff and a sword. "Choice, Knowledge, Creation, Destruction. These four relics are placed throughout Remnant and hold great power. I assigned Ozma to return to the land of the living and act as a guide for humanity and protect these relics from the wrong hands. While these relics are protected, Salem seeks them for her own purpose. When these four relics are brought together, we will return and judge humanity. If mankind learn to live together in harmony and set aside their differences, then we will once again live among them and humanity will be made whole."
"However-" The God of Darkness spoke up. "If humanity hasn't changed, if they demand our blessings while fighting amongst themselves… we will judge mankind as irredeemable and wipe out humanity once more, and with it, the world."
Rosalina couldn't believe her ears. Her eyes shook and she looked like she was about to faint from the news. "Wipe out… the entire world… along with everything…" She whispered, needing to sit down as she sat down on her bed. "What…"
"AND I FIND THAT COMPLETELY BULLSHIT!" Viridi yelled. "You want to wipe out humanity and the WORLD because of a foolish desire?! That is extremely unacceptable!"
"That's ironic, coming from you." Hades snarked. "Wipe out humanity and the world? Where do I sign up! Let's gather those relics, make a foolish wish and boom! Gone forever!" Hades smirked. "That'd be a lot of souls in the Underworld to keep me company. Much more entertaining than the Wish Seed!"
"Does he have to be here?" Dyntos asked.
"Viridi is right. If you go and destroy Remnant because of foolish desires after they are brought together… not only would you destroy the Mushroom Kingdom, but your actions will destroy the other worlds connected to the Smash Mansion." Palutena said. "Mobius, Dreamland, Midgar, Onett, Shibuya, Hyrule, and many more worlds that are interconnected… and that is why we have problems with your solution."
"If I may interject." Arceus spoke up. "Uniting humanity as one is nigh impossible. Man's hearts are easily persuaded and will change at a moment's notice. You are suggesting if humanity is harmonized, then you will return Remnant as it once was. There is a problem to this. It is impossible for humanity to be in harmony, because there will be discord no matter what."
"Indeed. Take the Smash Mansion for instance. Heroes and Villains are in the same building… naturally, there will be fights amongst them and I do not mean a simple spar. There will always be resistance and discord." Master Hand spoke up.
"There is also the matter of the monsters." Viridi said. "There is a world called Erdrea where there is this creature named Calasmos. His influence spread through the worlds and not only affected monsters from different worlds, it affected the Grimm. That incident affected both my forces of Nature and the Underworld army!"
"With all of this said, you would dare destroy everything if these relics are brought together?" Mewtwo aimed his hand at the two as a shadowy aura surrounded him. "Choose your next words carefully, for our response will be our answer." He said as Ike unsheathed Ragnell, Shulk readied the Monado, Bayonetta readied her guns as the gods, minus Hades, readied themselves. Hades decided to summon a bag of popcorn.
"EVERYONE STOP!" Rosalina yelled. "I will not allow such discourse in my home, after I had just gotten it refurbished!" She said as she stood up. "You cause destruction in my home and I will make you all pay." She said.
"Oooh, feisty." Hades chuckled.
"You two." Rosalina turned to the Gods. "There better be a good reason why you decided to barge into my front yard, why you decided to look for me." She aimed her wand at them. "You know very well that humanity can never be truly harmonized because there will always be an adversary. There will always be chaos and discourse. If you so choose to deem humanity as irredeemable… all because one person decided to change the fate for everyone… then you're anything but benevolent. You want to erase humanity and the world because humanity is irredeemable even though there are a lot of good people in this world? I did NOT come back from a space exploration just to watch everything I hold dear get destroyed! You best have a good explanation. NOW."
"We came here because we wanted to thank you for saving humanity from its destruction." The God of Light explained. "We had not anticipated that humanity and everything in the universe would have been destroyed because of one's arrogance and recklessness. In short, our experiment had been destroyed… only for it to be resurrected. You were the one who resurrected our experiment. You are right however… humanity can never be harmonized because there will always be discourse. It is human nature to be persuaded by good and evil."
"Great, so you just confessed that humanity is irredeemable." Viridi said. "I say we-"
"Hold it!" Rosalina put her arm out and turned to the gods. "Continue."
"Humanity can never be truly in harmony, but, there are a lot of good people out there as there are a lot of bad people. If humanity is deemed irredeemable, then someone as innocent as a child would be wiped out without knowing what they did wrong."
"You really didn't think this through, did you?" Crazy Hand chuckled.
"Shush!" Master Hand shushed him.
"You have opened our eyes, Rosalina. It would not be fair to innocents that they will be killed, nor would it be fair for the good side of humanity to be destroyed." The God of Darkness explained. "As for those who are evil, there is nothing that can save them, no matter what is thrown at them. So, we have decided… to spare humanity from when the relics are gathered. However, only the people of light shall be spared. The people of darkness will only be destroy-"
"No." Rosalina spoke up. "You are suggesting that those are bad will be destroyed… but who's to say they cannot be persuaded to join the light? Only save the destruction from those who crossed the line and can never be redeemed."
The God of Light rubbed his chin in thought. "A wise decision. The ones who have crossed that horizon should not be spared."
"We are still keeping the Grimm here, as we are keeping Salem's curse as well." The God of Darkness said. "She still needs to learn not to mess with the delicate balance. We are doing the same with Ozma as well. He still needs to unite humanity in some capacity."
"While you are at it." Mewtwo spoke up. "I think it's time you bring magic back to Remnant as well. It may have merged with the Mushroom Kingdom, which already had magic, but the residents of Remnant should have it as well."
"We will bring magic back… however, instead of everyone having magic, it should be reserved for those who truly desire it." The God of Light explained. "Now then, if there are no more interruptions… we will take our leave."
"Farewell, Rosalina. And farewell to everyone else." The God of Darkness said as they disappeared.
End BGM
"Well… that went better than expected." Palutena said.
"Bah… I was expecting carnage and destruction. Phooey." Hades said as he turned around. "See you bozos later." He disappeared into a fiery portal as everyone else took their leave while Palutena returned Rosalina's room back to its original size, and then Rosalina fell on her knees, breathing heavily.
"You okay?" Palutena asked, kneeling down by her side.
"Did… did I just… save humanity twice in one week?"
"I believe you did." Palutena said as they heard footsteps approaching as they turned to see Ruby and Yang walking in with the Super Mario Makers.
"We got hinges and bolts!" Mario said.
"We got new clothes for ya!" Yang smiled.
"I got you a new guitar!" Ruby grinned.
"Um…" Yang immediately started to look concerned. "Did we miss something? You don't look so hot…"
Meanwhile, with Ozpin…
Ozpin was looking outside of his office, looking over at the campus. "Strange… I don't recall a small hill next to the Forever Forest…" He mused.
"Ozma." A voice said as Ozpin turned around and gasped aloud, seeing two dragons before him.
"Y-you…!" He exclaimed in horror. "But I haven't-"
"At ease. We come in peace." The God of Light spoke, causing Ozpin to somewhat relax. "We came to inform you that we had a chat with the one who saved the universe."
"And to tell you to get your act together." The God of Darkness said. "Salem is getting restless and is plotting on making her move, while you sit here and are unaware that the enemy is within the school grounds. May I suggest better security?"
"The enemy is within the school grounds?"
"Indeed, and they are searching for the Relic of Choice. Things are going to get dire if you sit here idly and do nothing." The God of Light said. "It's time you start getting more proactive in your duties, Ozma. You may have it well hidden, but it's only a matter of time before they find it."
"I… I understand." Ozpin nodded.
"We will take our leave. Farewell, Ozma." The God of Darkness said as they disappeared.
"The enemy is within the school… someone had saved the universe… what is going on here?" Ozpin wondered to himself.
Back at Rosalina's home…
Rosalina walked out of the bathroom and approached the others in the living room, where they would see her wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and some tennis shoes. "I… honestly feel a bit weird." She said.
"Oh, you'll get used to it. You look cute!" Palutena smiled.
Rosalina blushed. "I guess…" She said as she turned to see Mario and Luigi testing the new hinges on the door.
"Good as new!" Luigi said.
"You're all set!" Mario smiled.
"Thanks you guys." Rosalina smiled. "Glad to have that in better condition."
"Welp, we'll see ya later!" Toadette said as the four walked out and closed the door behind them.
"I should be going too. See ya later!" Palutena said and then disappeared in a pillar of light, leaving Rosalina alone with Ruby and Yang.
"Well, you have your home all organized now." Yang said.
"Indeed." Rosalina nodded, hugging the two girls. "Though, there is something I want to show you two."
"Oh?" Ruby wondered.
"Follow me." Rosalina said as she walked off with the sisters following her as they walked out the backyard where they would see a lone tree on a hill as the sun started to set in the horizon. As they got closer, Ruby looked to Rosalina.
"Is this…?" Ruby wondered.

"It is…" Rosalina nodded as she knelt down in front of the tree as they got closer. "Hey mom…" She said quietly as Ruby and Yang knelt down next to her, their hands on Rosalina's shoulders. "I… I'm home, and I'm staying for a longer time." She voice trembled as she closed her eyes, small tears escaping her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. Ruby and Yang said nothing but closed their eyes as Rosalina quietly sobbed.
Ruby would turn her head and see some flowers down the hill. She walked over and pulled them up as she returned and placed them down in front of the tree. "You think she'd like these?"
Rosalina smiled. "She'd love them…" She said as Ruby knelt down and hugged Rosalina with Yang hugging her as well. "You two can go back if you want… I'm gonna be here a while."
"No, I think we'll stay." Yang said as they sat down next to the tree with Rosalina between them, her arms wrapped around them as she looked up into the night sky and saw a shooting star fly past them.
