Euro-Britannia, Sankt Petersburg, Alexander Palace, 4 days before the Battle of Strasbourg

A few days before the first battle between the Empire and Europia, Euro-Britannia held an emergency meeting regarding the war. Though no one knows for sure who called the meeting, the matter was about the War between the Homeland and Europia. So of course the House of Lords attended. For all they thought, lord Farnese had called for the meeting, as the Grand Duke has been out of contact for some time. They all assumed that he felt ill or was away from Sankt Petersburg.

As the Nobles all chatted among themselves, Andrea Farnese entered the room. Taking a seat down next to the Grand Duke's throne. Andrea force a soft to get the attention of the nobles. Soon the room went silent as they all waited to hear what the Grand Dukes retainer had to announce.

"As you all know, the E.U. has declared war on Homeland." Farnese began. "While there has been no contact from the Homeland regarding to involve ourselves in the conflict. I would like all of you to voice their opinions on the matter."

Soon enough the nobles in the room immediately began to discuss on what to do with this situation. While some wanted to help the Homeland due to the current Emperor and his policies, many however were opposed to intervene. This practically due to the current state of Euro-Britannia. It was only recently they had lost most of they're territories such as, Ukraine, Eastern Europe and Anatolia from the E.U. Euro-Britannia's main concern as of now were to rebuild economy. Sure the Grand Duke Velaines may have sent military aid to Homeland for the Nobility Uprisings, but that was a different case.

Eventually the room was split between two factions, the Pro-war faction and the Anti-war faction, the former being the minority.

"Well for starters, while it is our duty to protect the Homeland when they call, it is however Euro-Britannia's first priority that we must quickly rebuild ourselves as soon as possible." A member of the Anti-war faction Marquess Ajar, began gaining positive remarks and nods from the crowd. "Compared to the E.U. of the past, the current E.U. is merely a threat that can be dealt with within a matter of months. The Homeland has no need for our involvement whatsoever."

"I object," a member of the Pro-war faction, Marquees opposed, "while it is true that the E.U. in its current state is merely a small threat. However, be it small or big, Euro-Britannia must intervene no matter the cost. As it is our duty as a tributary state to do so."

"What's this lady Orga? Weren't you against the previous war with the E.U. why the sudden change of heart?" Marquis Ajar asks with a mocking smile.

"That was because the Homeland had started the war, this time it was the E.U." Orga corrects him, "and wouldn't it be better if we assist the Homeland this time, to improve our relationship even more."

"You bring a fair point, lady Orga." A member of the Anti-war faction, Count Stark agreed. "Though this is a fact, we are no position to go to war the E.U. We have already been sending military aid to the Homeland with the Nobility uprisings. A war is out of the question." Count Stark finished.

"That is right, Count Stark says the truth."

"We have already lost our most economically rich territories, we simply don't have the finances to go to war."

"No to mention, our military is in shambles after the Shiang rebellion."

"Your point?" Marquees Orga asked, silencing the room and gaining they're attention. "While yes, we have lost our most prosperous territories and our military is anything but functional. We certainly are better off than the E.U." Orga points out, to which some nobles start to agree. Compared to them, the E.U. is nonexistent at this point, they had lost their credibility as a superpower after Eastern Europe had all left and joined the UFN. "And if we intervene on the war, I'm confident that the Homeland will award us for our contribution."

"She has a point."

"The Homeland might be able to help with our current economic crisis."

"I say it's worth a go."

Marquis Ajar could only huff at her claims. He then turned to Lord Farnese as he now tries to ask for his opinion.

"Lord Farnese, though as the speaker you are impartial to all hearings in the court, I ask what is your opinion on this conflict?" Ajar asks him. While it was a bold move for sure, while Farnese is known to be impartial when ever a session was held. The case at hand was about the war between the Homeland and the E.U. surely the retainer of the Grand Duke has such personal opinions on the war. Considering his disapprobation with the Homeland.

Andrea remained silent, not answering the Marquee's question. The Marquee grew impatient as the rest of the House of Lords all waited to hear what he had to say. Finally, Andrea opened his mouth, and the crowd waited in anticipation, as for what he has to say.

"I am merely an observer in this court. I am to remain impartial at all cost, as to maintain order within the House of Lords." The room goes awe at Lord Farnese'e answer. They were impressed of course, considering that the Grand Duke had chosen him to be his successor as Grand Duke of Euro-Britannia. Lord Velaines did choose wisely. "I'll let it slide this time Marquees Ajar, but make sure this doesn't happen again."

Ajar clenched his jaw, as now most of his supporters were now ridiculing him behind his back now. He did a risky move and asked Lord Farnese on his opinion on the war. Knowing well he was defeated, the Marquees decided not to speak any further. Leaving only Count Stark to debate with Marquis Orga. Orga could only smirk in satisfaction.

Count Stark tensed up a bit as he now is by himself. The others couldn't possibly back him up, considering Orga is one of the most powerful members in the House of the lords due to her family's outstanding position. Not to mention her excellent debate skills, she could put him down I just few words and it will be over for him.

Left with no other option he also sat down in defeat. Marquees Orga looked on in victory as she again won against Marquees Ajar and his annoying cousin Stark. How many does that make now? six wins?

"Settle down." Andrea gained the court's attention. "Now, Marquees Orga you make a solid argument about us involving ourselves in this war." Orga looked flattered. "However, Marquis Ajar does have a point." Ajar smiled satisfied. "Our military is dysfunctional at best, as we are still in the process of reforming our ranks. Our economy is in shambles after the Shiang Rebellion and the First Britannia-Europia War. The loss of our territories is a great blow to our national security."

Orga continued to pay attention as to where lord Farnese was getting at, same with Marquis Ajar who also listened to lord Farnese. At this rate they might not actually consider war with the E.U. which will surely put Orga at a disadvantage. After all the whole reason for why she is all for war is due to her Maternal cousin Duke Arlent, who instructed her to be in favour of war with Europia. She found it odd of course considering he was planning on assassinating the Emperor and end the Royal family just a few months ago. Now he is here supporting the current regime in the Homeland and the Emperor. Anyway it doesn't matter if it means getting a position in the Homeland then she will do as he says.

Ajar on the other hand looked unsure, he tried to figure out what lord Farnese was trying to get at. If he is in favour of war, it will certainly be devastating for Euro-Britannia, they still need more time to recover before engaging in any major conflict. He had gone through the numbers already, the amount of capital they currently have in their treasury is simply not enough. They only have enough to survive the upcoming Russian winter. Even if the Homeland agrees to a joint military operation they simply will cannot afford a war.

"So I ask of your opinion, your Majesty?" Andrea says, getting the confused and puzzled by what he had just said.

"My opinion?" A centerhung screen then appeared above, the screen then activated revealing the face of the young Emperor of the Homeland in his throne with Jeremiah Gottwald at his side. "Is it appropriate for me, the Emperor of Holy Britannian Empire to voice his opinion on what their tributary state should act in such a situation?"

The court room were bewildered at what they were witnessing, the Emperor himself had appeared in a hearing. He likely has heard everything that had just occurred in the room, which had gotten members of the Anti-war faction as to what might happen now. Meanwhile Marquis Orga smiled in relief, as now her faction had just gotten the support needed to join the war. She could only figure that the House of lords will have no choice but to agree to go to war. Finally she can get a comfy position in Pendragon and say goodbye to this good for nothing tributary state.

"Though the house of lords is strictly a place for us of the Euro-Britannian nobility to discuss on current affairs, but since you are the Emperor I believe we can make a fair exception." Andrea says, getting objections from the Anti-war faction as this was against the rules of the House of lords.

"Thank you Lord Farnese." Lelouch thanked him getting the crowd to calm down. "As much as I want Euro-Britannia's forces to be part of the war against the E.U. I think I may have to agree with the Anti-war faction."

"What did he just say?!"

"Is he serious?"

"Is he saying that we should stay out of this conflict?"

"Wha-what is going on?" Marquis Orga wondered perplexed at the situation. Seeing as how the Emperor is against Euro-Britannian is quite a surprise. Usually when an Empire is at war it will call upon all of its tributaries to fight for them, but for some reason they aren't. "I thought for sure that Arlent told me to support the war because the Emperor had told, but it doesn't seem to be the case here."

"As Marquees Ajar had said, Euro-Britannia is in no position to wage war against anyone." Lelouch began. "Be it the E.U. which has lost its power, you simply don't have the funds needed to sustain yourself from collapsing."

"So he is aware, he knows that we are in no position to go to war let alone pay the protection fee." Marquees Ajar thought that since the Emperor understood their situation then surely he would overlook this and fight the E.U. on their own. If they can recover their economy then they will do whatever it takes to repay the Empire for the war against the E.U.

"And before you ask Marquis Orga, the Homeland cannot assist Euro-Britannia rebuild its economy." Lelouch informs her, raging the Pro-war faction.

"SILENCE!" Andrea shouted getting them to stop. "Behave yourselves in front of the Emperor."

"Thank you again lord Farnese." Lelouch said. "As of now, I am currently reforming Britannia in order to fulfill the promise I made on my coronation. To do so would require significant manpower and funds. Right now, a majority of the nobles have now started to rebel against me, to maintain the outdated system which my predecessors had established decades ago."

"And Euro-Britannia had done enough help with the nobility uprisings. To ask you to join the war with the E.U. when your military is still reforming itself, is the same as killing yourself." Lelouch says. He had been monitoring Euro-Britannia for quite sometime, back when he was planning on taking over the throne in Baghdad, he had sent Jeremiah undercover to investigate Euro-Britannia's current state. From what he could gather, it would seem they are still recovering. Though they joined the war with the U.F.N, but that was simply because Schneizel had threaten them to.

"So your majesty, you now understand do you?" Ajar asked, getting the young Emperor to look at his direction.

"Yes I do," Lelouch agreed, reliving the Marquees, "However, I do have a proposal. I believe it may be quite beneficial for Euro-Britannia." The nobles all looked perplexed. They were confused as to what the Emperor was trying to do. If he he knew that they are incapable of going to war, why does it seem like he is trying to do so. It simply didn't make sense, they were unsure what his goal was. They might as well hear what it was.

"Though as I have said, we of the Homeland are unable to help Euro-Britannia with its current situation. I can however can give you one thing in this war." Lelouch says, gaining the interests of the nobles. Marquees Ajar on the hand was curious as to what the Emperor meant, what was it that the Homeland can offer them?

"I can give you all of the E.U. territory except for the British isles and Africa." Lelouch tells them as he smiles devilishly. The almost all the nobles in the entire room was shocked at by the Emperor's proposal, all of mainland E.U. will be given to them!? Is this a dream, sure the occupation may be costly, but the newly gained territory can be of some use. The resources in the E.U. could potentially help revitalize the economy. They would jump at such an opportunity, but they were hesitant. They had a feeling that the Emperor would want something in return for the territory and it was most likely their involvement in the war.

"For these territories, I would like to request Euro-Britannia to join the war..."

And there it was. Well that is to be expected anyway, for such huge amounts of territory to be given away to an tributary Empire there was bound to be some compensation. Well they could probably recruit the paramilitary groups that are currently deployed in Siberia or they could reuse some of the E.U.'s Knightmare frames along with their military hardware, and retrofit them to suit their forces. But it looks the Emperor is still not done with his demands, well whatever it is, it's probably not that problematic after all, he is the benevolent Emperor. What else could he possibly want-

"...Along with Grand Duke Velaines's resignation as Grand Duke of Euro-Britannia."

...What did he just say? They must be hearing things right? Grand Duke Velaines's RESIGNATION!!! Is he mad!? Everyone in the chamber were less then pleased by the Emperor's second demand. Even the Pro-war faction was enraged by his demand, including Marquis Orga. While she did plan on getting a position in Pendragon, she had respect for the Grand Duke as compared to Emperor Charles, he had morals. Like all Euro-Britannian nobles she never approved of the Area system, since it is a pointless system that serves so purpose whatsoever to the progress of Britannia's growing strength. To top it off, he is the literal definition of a saint. While Marquis isn't the greatest person, she will be damned to let someone like Velaines to be out of power.

"What is the meaning of this!" Marquis Orga demanded.

"Nothing much, just doing what my father couldn't do years ago." Lelouch answered, not reacting bit and just looked bored at the whole situation.

"To think we had such on you. As expected, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Marquees Ajar says, angered by the young Emperor's demands.

Marquees Ajar began to regret of ever having such high hopes for the young Emperor. Promising to create world in which everyone can be happy? Ha, so he finally shown his true colours. As expected of the child of Charles Zi Britannia.

"Watch your where you run that mouth of yours, Marquees." Jeremiah glares at Ajar through the screen. "May I remind you that you are in the presence of his Majesty."

"Or else what?" Orga asked, coming to Ajar's defense. "As far as I can tell it is you who should watch your mouth, Emperor Lelouch. Asking for the resignation of Grand Duke Velaines, who has done nothing but bring prosperity to Euro-Britannia. Compared to you, who is struggling to maintain control of your newly gained territories as Emperor."

"Exactly, unlike you, who have been exiled and in hiding in Japan, the Grand Duke has been maintaining order with us of the nobility and the Homeland as long as you have been living in this world." Ajar also added. For the first time since they had been in the house of lords, Marquees Ajar and Marquis Orga had finally agreed on something for the first time. After all, both of them like the rest of the nobles have long respected the Grand Duke. Sure he isn't perfect, but he damn as well be the best thing from Britannia.

"Oh, then the same could be said for the Grand Duke as well. Need I remind you the Shiang Rebellion?" Lelouch reminded them. Making the chamber gnash their teeth and clench their jaws as they remember the Shiang Rebellion. "Shin Hyuga Shiang was a respected of the nobility of Euro-Britannia. Yet he and his followers staged a rebellion that caused an economic crisis and further straining the already fragile relationship of the Homeland and Euro-Britannia."

"It wouldn't have happened, if it weren't for that bastard Julius Kingsley, detaining the Grand Duke." Ajar pointed out. The nobles in the chamber all agreed as they yelled their dissatisfaction. Yet briefly some of the nobles had noticed the Emperor wince at the name of Julius Kingsley, as if is connected to him somehow.

"So what of it, it simply points his incompetence of governance and control over his own people." Lelouch continued forward. As he does his words kept on fuming the nobles as they looked like they were ready to pounce. "Even if it was because General Kingsley, it still doesn't change the fact that Lord Shiang raised the flag of Rebellion against Britannia. No matter what it us the responsibility of ruler to maintain a check on his people, so naturally the fault lies mostly to the Grand Duke."

The nobles in the room were about to lose it as their veins began to be visible. They were ready for the consequences of what they were about to say next, let the Emperor say anything he wants about them, but insulting the Grand Duke is where they draw the line. But before they were able to say anything against the Emperor, Lord Farnese slammed his hand on his chair so hard that nearly the entire chamber all flinched and stopped to all turn their heads to Andrea.

"All of you, sit down!" he ordered them.

The nobles try to ask why Lord Farnese was stopping them but Andrea didn't allow them for a chance to speak.

"I said. SIT. DOWN!" This time Andrea had practically commanded them to do so. He said so in such a way that the nobles were all to stunned to talk back at him. They all did as they were told and sat down by his command, figuring it was best not to enrage the Grand master of of st Raphael after all.

After that Andrea turned his attention toward the centerhung screen as the Emperor watched with interest at the situation.

"Your majesty, while you have been nothing but generous to Euro-Britannia. I believe I speak to everyone here that we must decline your proposal." Andrea turns the offer down, while it did annoy the nobles a bit, they were actually more then pleased that he did so.

"Are you sure? Isn't this the opportunity Euro-Britannia needs to recover itself from its current state?" Lelouch inquired.

"Yes, yes you are correct. However what you are asking us is also for the resignation of the loved and well respected ruler of Euro-Britannia. I'm sure many in the Homeland would also be opposed to such a decision?" Andrea inquired.

"Any opposition on my decision will be dealt with. Besides that wouldn't care much due to the nobility uprisings." Lelouch says.

Damn he's right, with the nobles in the Homeland now beginning mass uprisings thanks to the young Emperor's reformations, no one would pay much attention to the resignation of the Grand Duke of Euro-Britannia as they are more concerned if more nobles begin uprisings, which will surely effect them. while the resignation of the Grand Duke won't do anything.

"Even if the commoners of the Empire wouldn't care, the people of Euro-Britannia will. The Grand Duke has done so much for the people, if they were to hear that the Homeland forced him to resign many will outrage." Andrea continued. "Here in this very chamber of the House of lords," Andrea gestured to the nobles, "the nobles who just before debating whether or not to join the war had now band together to oppose your demand the forced resignation of Grand Duke Augusta Henry Highland." Andrea slammed his fist on the arm rest of his throne as he got up. "If you want us to hand over Grand Duke Velaines to you, then your majesty will have to expect a civil war between us and you."

A deafening silence was all that was heard after Andrea's declaration. About every noble including Andtea all glared in unison at the Emperor on the screen, as they tried to sent their message across. They had made their stance and now the Emperor must now know why the previous Emperor couldn't get rid Grand Duke Velaines. With nearly every noble being at the backing of the Grand Duke, there was no way in hell he could ever be gotten rid. With this, the young Emperor will have no choice but to give up on his attempt to get rid of Velaines. Or so they thought, because the Emperor's was something unexpected and outrageous.

He laughed.

"Ha... haha.. hahahahahahahahah!" Lelouch had laughed for a few seconds, during which the nobles all fumed in rage including Andrea who clenched his jaw. "Well then, that was fun."

Wait what did he say?... Fun? FUN! He was playing with us this whole time!? Why? Why would the Emperor even do so and for what exact purpose, for what possible reason could he possibly want to cause such an uproar.

"You have convinced me." The young Emperor says, which confuses them. Who was he talking to?

"Yes indeed, it was pretty fun." A familiar voice says, one that the nobility were well aware of as they turned around to see who it was much to their shock. "And I'm pleased to know that the nobles of Euro-Britannia have impressed you, your majesty."

Coming out of the doors came in Grand Duke Velaines himself, whom they all thought was away from Sankt Petersburg. Seeing him here was surely surprising, and wait they were in on this together?! What is going on?

"Grand Duke, I'm pleased to see that you have returned safely." Andrea quickly bowed to greet him.

"No Andrea, I'm the one who is pleased here." Velaines says with a smile. "You did well as the speaker today, as well as the rest of you. I'm touched by your loyalty." Velaines tells his compatriots who all smiled confusingly.

"Grand Duke, our agreement?" Lelouch interfered getting impatient.

"Be patient, you young people are so impatient." The Grand Duke tells him. Which confuses the chamber even more.

"Ummm, your excellency may I ask what is going on?" Andrea asks. If he recalled correctly, the Grand Duke summoned him to his estate a few days telling he will be away from Sankt Petersburg for awhile. He never did say when he would be returning or where he was even going.

"Oh, forgive me for this whole charade. I thought it would be nice to show the young Emperor the difference between the Homeland and us." Velaines tells him which confuses the chamber.

"And you have shown me well, Grand Duke Velaines. I envy you for having such sensible men and women by your side." Lelouch compliments him.

"Oh it's nothing. Besides Andrea did fair job as speaker of the House of lords. That's al needed to make sure of." Velaines says.

Wait, what does he mean?

"I guess I should share this news to all of you." Velaines stiffened himself. "I am stepping down as Grand Duke of Euro-Britannia."

The entire chamber was shocked by his news, he is stepping down? And willingly! What happened while he was away? From what it seems, the Geand Duke had visited Pendragon and met with the Emperor. What in the world did they discuss.

"Your excellency, it couldn't possibly be because of the Emperor's proposal, right?" Andrea asked, thinking that the deal was done beforehand.

"No, it has nothing do with it. The Emperor gives his world on seceding mainland Europe to Euro-Britannia, in exchange for our intervention." Velaines assures him. "It just that, due to the shortage of suitable government officials in the Homeland, I have been offered the position of Prime Minister."

"Wha-WHAT!" Andrea exclaimed as well as the rest of the chamber. They can't believe what they were hearing. The Grand Duke has been offered position of Prime Minister of the Homeland. No wonder, such an opportunity would wouldn't make any hesitate to take it. The chance to administer the Empire affairs domestically and externally, such an important position is now being given to Grand Duke Velaines.

"But, know that I'm not knowing this for taking the interest of power, but to help with the limited manpower in the Empire and help with the reformation of the Empire." Velaines reminds them. Of course that's the reason. Well the Emperor chose wisely after all with someone like Velaines by his side reforming the Homeland with piece cake. To add further, he now had Euro-Britannia's full support on anything that they needed. Really was this his plan all along.

"My resignation won't be official until this war is over, so until then I will continue to rule over Euro-Britannia until my departure to the Homeland." The Nobles were kind of glad about that, they might as well enjoy whatever time they had left with the Grand Duke before his inevitable departure to the Homeland. During that time, they will try to work ten times more harder then they have ever before. After all the economy ain't gonna fix itself.

Velaines turns to Andrea. "I leave the rest up to you, my successor." Velaines tells him, patting his shoulder a little. Andrea felt a chill running down his spine by what he meant, he is now going to to be Grand Duke of Euro-Britannia.

After that Velaines turns back to the crowd as if he had more things to say.

Meanwhile Andrea looks down on the ground, as he ponders on what's to come. Everything around him goes silent as he continues to wonder, the same question.

'What is going to happen now?'

Euro-Britannia, Chernobyl, G1 base, Present time, 26 hours after the battle of Strasbourg

Andrea opens his eyes after a while. "A dream?" He wondered as he rubs his eyes. As he head gets more clearer he realizes where he was, the bridge of his Orders G1 base. He wondered how long he had been asleep considering the sun was now rising. Getting up he starts to remember what that dream was about, the dream was about the recent House of Lords session in which Grand Duke Velaines had just declared his resignation as Grand Duke to become the Prime Minister. Well as much that is great news for Euro-Britannia, it now meant Andrea will now become the next Grand Duke. To be quite he is nervous. Considering the burdens that come with being the Grand Duke, it was certainly stressing him out then usual. He wasn't confident enough to take such an important position as he had other concerns to deal with. Particularly with the Young Emperor.

Andrea went up to the window and looked upon the city of Chernobyl. The city wasn't destroyed like Tokyo, the battle itself wasn't that hard per say. The E.U. did hold up a pretty good fight, they even manage to get few of their own forces as well. While they put up a fight, they knew it was pointless, as they figured that they were all but surrounded with no one to support them. So the city surrender. There were still a few urban skirmishes with some of the E.U. soldiers who didn't follow the surrender order. Other than that, the city itself was pretty much intact.

But enough about the city, the Emperor, yes right. Andrea covered his the lower half of his face with hand as he went deeply in thought.

Lelouch vi Britannia, it's a name that many high ranking nobles might've heard of. Considering prince's mother status as a commoner it's no surprise that the nobility in the Homeland did not recognize him as a legitimate prince of the Empire. That what makes it strange, the only nobles that would've supported of them are now fallen aristocrats, and the only ones capable of helping them are the Ashfords, who now run the prestigious Ashford Academy. Yet somehow he was able to take over the throne with Sir Kururugi. His relation to Kururugi is easy to figure as the prince was exiled to Japan and were hosted by Genbu Kururugi, so that makes sense. Though for how he was able to recruit Jeremiah Gottwald is beyond him. Last he checked, he was the leader of the purist faction. There is no answer as to how they even met, it made him wonder what could he have possibly done to get him on his side. Looking back at it now, it is strange. There was also the other thing that was bugging him.

He's face.

Andrea felt like- No knew there was something familiar about his face. He felt like he had seen that face before. Remembering the face which looked familiar to him, Andrea's face shows mere disgust and hatred whenever he remembers that face. That fanatical, egotistical, sadistic, twisted human being, that he swore to get his head once he finds him. Just his name alone makes him want to puke.

Julius Kingsley.

Though he had kept bringing it up to the Geand Duke before, he dismissed his thoughts and told him to forget about. But how can he? When he was the one who caused everything that has happened in Euro-Britannia. Whenever he sees the Emperor he just can't help but be reminded of him. Yet at the same, he doesn't feel like it's him at all.

His face was the same but he just didn't feel any presence of Kingsley in him. His way of speech, his views and military strategies. There were moments were he shown theatrics similar to Kingsley, but it was all too different. It was if Julius Kingsley had never existed.

But he just can't shake this feeling. He confront him about it, but how? How can he... That's right, the victory ball. When this war is over, without no doubt a ball will held to celebrate their victory over Europia. There is no doubt that they will win this war, they have the superior firepower and Knightmares after all. There is doubt, this is the end of

Europia United.

Europia United, London, Mock hologram Council of 40 room

Inside a room that looked to an imitation of the Council room. hologram versions of the council 40 all waited for the arrival of General Smilas. The council had been hoping that they wouldn't come to a situation where they would require his assistance on the future of Europia- Actually scratch that, they prayed they wouldn't rise to such a situation. They underestimated him, they should've done more research on the new Emperor when they could've.

Just how in the world could he have predicted their troop movements. Also how the hell did they not notice a huge Britannian fleet at west coast of Africa, just HOW! What kind of stealth technology have they acquired?!

In that same moment, the door opened and came in the Prime minister of Britain and Gene Smilas. The Council all began to look firm in front of the traitor, as they did not want to look weak in front of him. Smilas stands in the middle of the room facing the Council. Once the British Prime minister took his seat, the meeting began.

"Councilmen it has been while." Smilas says, getting a few snarls from them.

"General Smilas, though you are still set for twenty nine years more in Portlaoise maximum security. We have decided that you will temporarily return back to the United Army." The head Councilman states, leaving a satisfied smirk on Smilas's face.

"So I see that the war had not gone well into your favour." Smilas comments, getting a few glares from them.

"We know you have connections to Peace Mark." The Swedish Councilman reminds him. "We are willing to give every available resource we have to mount a counterattack against the Britannian army. We don't care what methods you use, just do it."

"May I ask what will happen to Colonel Malcal? After all she was leading the operation." Smilas asked.

"Nothing, she will remain in her current position until further notice. We are no position to replace anymore military officers as of this moment." The German Councilman tells much to Smilas's amusement. So he can finally meet his former protege after a year now. "You will meet up with Colonel Malcal, and command our forces in Southern Germany."

"May I ask if we are hiring any mercenaries from the Kingdom of Zilkhstan?" The General asks.

"Yes why do you ask?" The Dutch Councilman asks.

"I would like to contact Priestess Shamna." Smilas tells them, getting the councilmen curious.

"For what reason do you want to contact Priestess Shamna?" The German Councilman asks.

"I have something that I want to confirm with her." Smilas tells them, getting them suspicious.

What is it that he wants to confirm the religious leader of the Kingdom. As far as they know, Priestess Shamna had not involved herself in the Kingdoms politics. The only that they know is that the King of Zilkhstan, King Shailio, is the one that holds all the power of the nation. Just how a disabled young boy could inherit and become of a mercenary Kingdom is beyond them. But since it's only the Priestess they could allow it.

"Approved." The Council all approved of Smilas's request. Smilas smirks, now he can gain access to the Kingdom's special mercenaries.

"Don't forget, get in contact with Peace Mark. We need all the help we can get. We are already in talks with the U.F.N. to see if they can send any aid to us." The German Councilman tells him.

"Don't worry about that, Peace Mark has already sent forces to Southern Germany." Smilas informs them as he leaves the room. The Council is shocked to learn that Peace Mark is already in Southern Germany. Just when did they arrive, anyway?

German Federation Bavaria, Friedburg

In a warehouse, seven Knightmare frames were being stored with five of them being covered by a large tarp. One of the Knightmares resembled what it looks to be a modified version of the Guren MK2, the Rekka Byakuen. Next to it was the was a purple version of what it looked to be a customized version of the Gekka, the Gekka shiden. Inside a room a team of eight, all gathered looking at each other wearily, creating an uncomfortable tension in the room.

Soon enough, Orpheus soon stopped he tension by explaining to them what their mission is in Germany.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Orpheus." Orpheus began facing the others. "This is a comrade of Zi Dian." Zi Dian waved at the awkwardly. "And this is Ganabati." Orpheus gestured to Ganabati. "Introduve yourselves." Orpheus asks, the other five.

The first one to introduce themselves looked to be the oldest of them, a dark haired woman. "My name is Sancia, I'm the oldest one here."

After introducing herself the rest of them soon did. Following after Sancia was a dark skinned girl. "Dalque, I look forward with working with you."

Next was the pale haired girl. "Lucretia, I will be in your care."

Next was the blonde pig tailed girl. "Alice."

And finally the last one of them, a white haired boy. "Rai, I guess we will be working together from now on."

Meanwhile in with Zi Dian and Ganabati they had a little discussion of their own.

"Man, it's crazy to think that they came from the same place as Oz." Zi Dian says.

"I'm more surprised by how young some them are. It's disgusting just to imagine what Britannia had done to them." Ganabati comments.

"No kidding. But still, to think Zero was involved in this shit." Zi Dian says.

"Honestly Orpheus, do you possibly know why Zero was involved with that Organisation?" Ganabati asks.

"Not a clue, they don't even know as well." Orpheus tells them.

"Well there has got to be something. It's can't be a coincidence." Zi Dian says.

Meanwhile with Rai, he ignored what was going on and looked back at the his Knightmare which covered in a tarp. Finally after 8 years, he is free, he can finally get revenge on Britannia and for what they did to him. Though Charles is dead, Britannia still lives. So what if this new Emperor promises for a gentle world. As long Britannia exists that gentle world can never be achieved. He will destroy and obliterate Britannia from the world. As he swore upon that very day to exterminate every Britannian. The day when Britannia attacked his home and killed his family without, and the day when he had been imprisoned for the past eight years.

"Look out little brother, I will put an end to your pathetic little fantasy of yours." Rai- No, Kaizaren Von Britannia, swears upon it. He will get his revenge, he will exterminate Britannia.

A/N

This was a stressful chapter. If the whole Irregulars introduction was bad, is because, I found the opportunity to be perfect. So yes, please forgive me if it was bad anyway.

So yeah, Grand Duke Velaines will take Schneizel's old job. I think it's a great way for him be of some use to the plot. Considering he is like the least racist noble in Britannia, it kinda made sense for Lelouch to choose him. I mean he is popular and a competent ruler. So Having Velaines handle handle administrative duties for Britannia will be useful in the current reformation of Britannia.

So, Zilkhstan is now getting involved. Well I mean of course it is, their economy is dependent on mercenary work. We are also going to Zilkhstan Geass users come in to the play as well. I plan on making a Zilkhstan arc soon. Though it will mirror similar to the Resurrection movie.

I hope you all enjoy the Europia arc, as I plan a lot of things to be added here.

Next chapter will be a Suzaku and Thomas chapter with the introduction of Dullahan knights.

Hope you all enjoy this chapter.

Peace.
