• Vivi Knows What Happen Last Summer •
Vivi is the Princess of Alabasta, who is nervous all the time and always looking around her surroundings, if she was in danger.
This is because of a terrifying event that happen to her last summer when she was with her friend / lover Koza.
Last summer, Vivi and Koza were on a date while vactioning in Nanohana. When it got dark, they went for a walk down a lane. Later, they went up to a hill at the edge of town, and spend the rest of the day stargazing. After a few hours of stargazing, both Vivi and Koza headed back to their hotel room.
When they got to their room, they see Nanohana's authorities from their windows shouting to people to lock their doors and windows, because a murderer is on the loose. Apparently the murderer has escaped from Impel Down Prison. The Marines chased him all over the Grandline until he reached Alabasta, hiding somewhere on the island from the Marines. His left hand is missing, in its place, he wore a hook.
"Let's lock the door and windows," said Viv. "That's a good idea," said Koza. The couple did that, and later went to bed.
Koza was a sleep, but Vivi on the other hand was wide awake. Vivi couldn't stop thinking about the escaped murderer. Vivi continue to lie awake in bed for a quite a while, until she heard scratching coming from outside their hotel room. Vivi was shaking uncontrollably in fear.
"Koza... Koza... Koza wake up please", said Vivi who was waking Koza up from his sleep.
"Mhm, What's wrong Vivi ?", said Koza.
"Koza, I just hear scratching noises outside our hotel room door", said Vivi.
"Vivi you could just be hearing things", said Koza who believes that Vivi was just hearing things.
"But I'm not !", replied Vivi.
"Vivi please just go to bed", said Koza, then he went back to sleep.
Vivi then notice that the scratching noise has stopped.
it was quiet from then on. Vivi started to think that she was hearing things after all like Koza said. Eventually Vivi got tired and fell asleep.

When morning finally came, Vivi woke up from her sleep and finds that Koza wasn't in bed. Vivi assumes he was eating breakfest in the next room.
"Koza ? You already up ?", said Vivi who was exiting the hotel bedroom.
Vivi finds Koza's decapitated body at the front door of their hotel room.
Vivi screamed.
'Koza's head is gone ! Somebody cut off his head !', thought Vivi.
As Vivi looked closely at Koza's headless corpse, she notices a golden hook cling to his right hand.
Vivi believe that the hook belongs to the escaped murderer, and that there must of been a struggle between Koza and the murderer.
Vivi contacted her father, the King of Alabasta, as well as the Nanohana authorities and The Marines. They did an investigation on the murder, after taking a look at the golden hook, they concluded that the culprit who beheaded Koza was the escaped Impel Down Murderer who's name is Crocodile. The investgation and search for Crocodile went on for days then to weeks. The Marines and the Alabasta authorities have never found Crocodile. Crocodile was never seen or heard of ever again ever since.
As for Vivi she was so traumatize by the event that summer she ended up being so paranoid, and whenever Vivi leaves home and goes out she looks around her surroundings, like if she was in danger, which went on for the next summer. This is because she believes that Crocodile is still in Alabasta, hiding somewhere in this Desert Island.
