AnonGuest: It hasn't stopped for me, everyone else seems to be fine and I'm the one suffering. If i don't upload, I'm dead for the day and will upload asap. I'm glad you enjoyed the smut. There will be more XD

Guest: How did i do it? That is the question. Sometimes I feel it can get too frustrating and simply turn readers away but I've somehow landed it into that sweet, painful spot. Mwhahahaha. Don't worry their time will come and the lovey dovey will happen for real.

Kawaii-Cherri: I'm sorry, don't cry or be sick! That shit hurts, lol. More smut will come but there will be fluff. So much fluff you'll be able to fill a Junimo plushie wearing a frog hoodie.

Chapter 32: Aftermath

Just because Rina had a late night didn't mean that her farm cared, she had things to do and when her alarm went off the next morning; it was almost painful, reaching over to hit snooze at least once. Half an hour won't hurt anyone, she thought to herself through bleary eyes. Her brain decided to knock a couple of cogs together and there was a mental burning smell as she remembered what happened the night before. Oh… my… I actually slept with Sebastian… and I'm still naked… and… we may have fooled around a little afterwards… she blushed heavily. Who am I kidding? We just kept going… she thought as she bit her lip. Sebastian's arm was wrapped around her tightly and she could feel the entirety of his body pressed against the back of hers. I'm a terrible human being, she thought treacherously as she buried her head harder against her pillow.

'…Was'it y'r al'rm?' Sebastian mumbled in barely passable words. His grip around her waist tightened and he nuzzled the back of her neck, sleepily.

'Yeah,' Rina admitted. 'I've got to feed my animals and things,' she whispered. It was too early and she didn't want to leave her warm bed, not to mention… her naked husband. I'm going to hell, she thought with a grump. 'I can't leave them,' she sighs, forcing herself to get up and ignore the snooze she had reset. Sebastian grumbled, as she fully expected. He always did when he stayed over. Rina took a moment to lean to the side and tuck the quilt back in, not wanting to disturb him completely.

She had a wash and pulled on her farm clothes; big wellies, jeans and a thick hoodie to fight off the early morning chill. Her entire body ached, a reminder of the rather physical entertainment that she had indulged in. To stop her mind from wandering, Rina threw herself into her daily chores, making sure that everything was as it should be. The black, glittery egg that she had put in the incubator, hatched a few weeks ago and was now a mesmerising, ink coloured chick with ruby eyes. It clucked and happily followed one of her other hens, who had taken it under their wing. After she had checked everyone's health and wellbeing, collected all the goods and made sure to provide the best quality upkeep she could, only then did she allow herself to trudge back to the house. She yawned as she pushed open the door, hearing Mochi miaow for attention from the kitchen table. 'I'm coming, Mochi. Be nice, mummy had a late night,' she groaned as she kicked off her wellies.

'I didn't hear you complaining about it at the time,' Sebastian said from where he leaned against the kitchen counter, having made himself a coffee. He had just pulled on his bottoms from the night before and Rina could see the red marks across his skin from her nails.

'Oh, ha ha,' she said in good humour. 'Good morning, lazy husband of mine,' she teased as she walked over to stroke Mochi.

'I see, the cat receives attention before I do,' he chuckles. 'Coffee?' He asks as he turns to make her one, not waiting her answer. Mochi purred and chittered at Rina, enjoying the chin scratch he was receiving. 'Did you sleep okay in the end?' Sebastian asks as he passes her the coffee mug, made just the way she liked it. Rina thought things were going to be horribly awkward between them but she didn't feel anything like that at all. Instead, she took the mug and grinned at him.

'Apart from my life's responsibilities waking me up at an ungodly hour, yeah, I slept great, you?' She asks before she blows on the beverage and takes a sip, feeling like it warmed her to her very toes. Mochi complained about the fact that his scratch was over and flopped off the table towards his food bowl which wasn't full enough in his eyes. The fact that he could see the bottom of the bowl was the problem. Rina rolled her eyes and nudged it with a toe, causing the kibble to move and lo and behold; a new serving of breakfast that Mochi dived into.

Sebastian moved closer and gave her a hug from the side, kissing the top of her head. 'I slept great,' he said with a smile. 'What do you want to do today, if anything?' He asks as he stepped back to give her space.

'Should we talk about last night?' Rina said, she didn't want to but she wanted to make sure that they were on the same page about things. That was all their 'fake' marriage needed, miscommunication.

Sebastian swallows his mouthful of coffee and nods, 'can do,' he said, privately worried that she was now regretting things but kept his tone light and jovial. 'How are you feeling about it?' He asked, noticing that she had a couple of large red marks on the curve of her neck, near the collarbone. That wasn't something he had caught last night.

Rina nodded, 'yeah, I mean. I feel great,' she admitted. 'I was worried it was gonna be awkward as generally, y'know, the first time with someone is a little… un-co-ordinated and new… but we didn't seem to really have that problem. Things clicked and I really enjoyed myself,' she said feeling her cheeks go pink. 'Did you?'

She notices that there's a flush across his own cheeks and it makes her smile as he formulates a response. Sebastian nods, 'I get what you mean,' he agrees. 'It was kinda effortless and seemed to just go right,' he said, feeling lame. He put down his coffee mug and rubbed the back of his neck, enjoying the stretch. There was a ten second window of awkwardness as they avoided looking at each other and when they did, Sebastian sighed. 'Pheebs, I gotta be honest… last night was…'

A mistake, her mind said in fear, that's what he's going to say…

'… Amazing,' Sebastian confessed, trying not to act like a teenager about it and communicate like an adult. 'Maybe it's because we're best friends but we seemed to just understand what the other wanted and it didn't feel awkward or pressured at all,' he babbles. 'Um… any of the times…' he adds causing Rina's face to erupt in a heavy blush which then set off his own.

A heavy breath was released from Rina, she didn't realise that she had been holding it in. 'Oh, fuck,' she laughs in disbelief. 'I honestly thought you were gonna say that you regretted it and that it was a mistake and… we had ruined our friendship and all I could think of was, 'last night was fucking amazing, are you serious?!' And then you said all that and it was like, woah, I'm not insane, y'know?' She speaks quickly in a stream and Sebastian struggles to keep up but does manage to understand what she's saying.

He shakes his head and steps closer, rolling his eyes playfully as he holds her arms gently. 'So, we're, okay? No regrets? Still comfortable being my wife?' He teases.

Rina smirks and gives him an amused look, 'yes, we're fine, no, no regrets and yes, perfectly comfortable being married to you. Though it's a little early to tell, not having been even twenty-four hours yet,' she points out and sips her coffee with a grin. A thought hits her, 'question. So, now that we've crossed the hurdle of uh, sex. How are we going about it, moving forward? Was this just a one-night deal or would you perhaps… like to continue?'

Once again, his face goes red and he clears his throat making Rina want to "aww" at him under her breath with how sweet he was. 'Well, if last night had been just okay, or awkward I would say that, y'know, we tried but it wasn't quite right. Seeing as the opposite of that happened, personally, I would… very much like to continue… when the mood, or want occurs,' he said honestly. 'Though, obviously, if you're not feeling it, just say. I'm a grown man, I can handle my wife not being in the right headspace for that sort of thing,' he adds in an attempt of a joke.

'Hey, same goes for you,' Rina said, giving him a poke with a finger with the hand that held her mug. 'There are probably going to be times when I want to have fun and you don't,' she points out. 'We're adults, shouldn't be difficult to go about this.'

Sebastian nods, she was right. 'As long as we're honest with one another?' He said, feeling the familiar thorn of guilt stab him deep in the gut. Rina nods brightly, her own guilt piercing thoroughly into her heart. The twin feelings of deception and deceit flooded them both and they masked it with content expressions.

Rina decided to fully embrace the fact that she felt like scum, 'I need a shower,' she said as she finished her coffee. 'Do you perhaps, want to share with me? Save hot water and all?' She teases as she walks to her bathroom, giving him a lingering look over her shoulder.

He knocked back the rest of his drink in one mouthful, 'honestly, Pheebs, if I ever refuse that request, you have legitimate grounds for an instant divorce,' he said as he quickly followed, placing his mug on the side. Rina giggles at him and disappears around the corner, leaving him to catch up eagerly.

'Monday night is girl's night,' Rina said as she poured popcorn into a bowl. 'You're welcome to hide in the bedroom but we're gonna be watching films and talking all about tampons,' she grins seeing him roll his eyes at the obvious lie.

Sebastian pulls on his boots, 'Pheebs, enjoy your night, don't worry about me. It's been a long time since I actually made an effort and hung out with Sam. I've been a bit of a shitty friend to him lately,' he admits. 'I'll be riding into the city in the morning, so I'll not be back too late. I'll just stick my head around the door to let you know I'm going to bed,' he planned, tying up the laces easily with a flick. Rina hummed in reply, with a positive tone as she faffed around getting things ready. Sebastian couldn't stop himself from watching her; they had enjoyed themselves in the shower and it was more playful than passionate, which was nice after the intense night before. He had to be careful though, he found that he showed more affection even when they were alone and it was almost becoming second nature. Rina hadn't said anything about it, not raised a concern and she reciprocated without any seemingly obvious effort.

She was dressed in just a plain, light green t-shirt and grey, cotton, drawstring bottoms, her style having evolved into something more casual and what she found comfortable, rather than the dresses and skirts she was used to. Her hair was up in a high ponytail and it was a messy style, with curls falling out here, there and everywhere. Rina was chatting to herself, a habit she didn't realise that she had. 'Should that be enough? No, Emily horked the lot last time… better have more…oh, and Leah is leaning more towards dark chocolate than milk lately….' She muttered to herself as she looked through the cupboards.

He grins, leaning on his hand, his elbow on his knee as he watched her. Even though it was a menial task and that she was just being herself, he found himself enamoured and heart warmed by the sight. At some point he was going to have to tell her about his real feelings but he was hoping it could wait a couple of months, then he could kind of blame it on the sex and then perhaps, come the "revelation" that he must have always loved her. It was deceitful and a douche move but Sebastian was pretty much at peace with it. He never claimed to be a good person, plus everything between them was consensual even if the underlying facts were foggy. 'So, who's coming tonight?' Sebastian asked as he forced himself to get a move on.

'Emily, Leah, Maru, Penny and… I extended the invitation to Abigail,' Rina said, not looking at him as she placed some glasses on the table.

Sebastian tilted his head as he walked over to her, placing a hand on her arm. 'Are you sure? I mean, I don't want you two to have an argument,' he said with concern.

Rina shrugged her shoulders and tapped the tabletop with her knuckles a couple of times before looking at him, 'there's no argument to be had. You two weren't together, haven't been for like, ten years. She didn't ever tell me that she perhaps had feelings for you, I'm not a mind reader. We… decided to get married and we're happy. That's it. Abigail and I aren't close enough to tell each other things so she can't be mad that she found out like everyone else,' Rina said simply. 'I doubt she's even going to come, I just feel like we're acting like teenagers, like that Nasty Girls film, or whatever it's called.'

He leans forward and kisses her temple, 'play nice,' he teases lightly, Rina batting him lightly on the chest in reply and making him chuckle. 'Okay, well, I've got my phone on me if you need anything and no truly horrific and gory films, I have to go to work tomorrow,' he smirks. Rina rolls her eyes and begins to push him towards the door. 'Try not to miss me too much,' Sebastian adds as he plays along and reluctantly stumbles towards the door.

'Ugh, you're insufferable, get out,' Rina said firmly, but her smile told him that it was all in jest. He opened the door just as Penny was about to knock, surprising them both. 'Penny!' Rina exclaimed happily and motioned for her to come in. 'You, go,' she said playfully as she pointed with her finger at the outside.

Penny giggles and slips past Sebastian who was pouting, he looked at the young woman, 'don't get married, Penny. They always change,' he said jokingly.

'Out!' Rina laughs, threatening to the chocolate she was holding and watching him nip out quickly.
