Here goes the second chapter! Enjoy!
The Dragon Team members all watch with fear and horror as Nappa begins to power up, his muscles growing larger and his power rising, as the ground begins to shake from the increasing power. The pink-haired man, Natsu, seems unfazed by the show, and smiles boldly as he waits for Nappa to finish his power-up.
"Ah Tien! My powers aren't working on him!"
Chiaotzu said as Nappa was still powering up and he attempted to use some of his telekinetic powers to stop him which was of no use.
"D... dammit! He's much much powerful than I expected!" The Namekian said while gritting his teeth as he didn't expect Nappa to have such a high power level.
"I hope that these two strangers know what they're doing! They don't even look scared!" Krillin yelled as he shielded himself from the debris.
"They're either really brave or foolish! Can't they sense the bald guy's huge power level?!" Tien exclaimed as he finds it unbelievable that Natsu and Happy weren't at least on their guard.
"We'll find out soon enough whether these two strangers have a good reason to be so confident" Piccolo said as Nappa now finished powering up with an aura around him as well as brief electric arcs.
"Took you long enough" Natsu said confidently as he feels more than ready to face Nappa and the other Saiyan.
Nappa stands in front of the Dragon Team, Natsu and Happy with a fighting stance, glaring at Natsu as he finishes his power up. The Dragon Team members are clearly nervous, and look up at Nappa with uncertainty and caution. The pink-haired man, Natsu, seems completely unafraid and confident, as he smiles playfully at Nappa, ready to face off against the mighty Saiyan warrior while the blue cat Happy doesn't show much of a reaction at all.
"Be careful! Here he comes!" Piccolo yells as Nappa launches himself first towards Natsu before suddenly going after Tien who reflexively used his arm to block Nappa's powerful punch.
However it was a huge mistake as Tien's forearm is ripped away by the powerful punch, causing him to fall to one knee and howl in pain. Nappa looks down at Tien, an evil smirk on his face, as he smiles proudly and enjoys the feeling of having the power to cripple his enemy with just one blow.
"Ha! You're too weak!" The bald Saiyan exclaimed mockingly but just as Nappa is about to finish off Tien however, Happy intervenes and flies with with Tien in his arms causing the bald Saiyan to miss his punch.
"Huh? What the?!" Nappa said in a surprised tone before he saw Tien floating in the air in Happy's arms much to his irritation.
"T... thanks!" Tien said as he now realised that Natsu and Happy must be on their side.
"Aye! No problem! I wasn't just gonna let you die especially against a bully who trashtalks our guild." The blue cat said in a lighthearted manner causing Tien to smile.
"Grrr! How dare you interrupt an Elite Saiyan warrior? You will pay for that!" Nappa said before firing an energy blast at both Tien and Happy much to Tien's horror who didn't have time to dodge.
"Tien!" Chiaotzu yelled as an explosion occurred midair but as the smoke cleared, everyone could see that Natsu is in front of Tien and Happy with his arms in a cross shape in front of his face as he blocked Nappa's blast without any visible damage much to the latter's frustration and to the protagonists' relief. They're also impressed and awed by the fact that this stranger is willing to take a blow for someone he barely met a few minutes ago.
"What the hell is wrong with you? Are you really trying to kill them?!" Natsu yelled angrily at Nappa as he landed on the ground since he's unable to fly for extended periods of time let alone float like Tien seems to be doing as he's no longer held by Happy.
"Of course I am! This is a battle to the death not some playground!" Nappa said mockingly as he can't believe how naive this pink-haired Earthling is.
Meanwhile Vegeta is quite impressed by Natsu's feat and realised that this pink-haired Earthling is much stronger than he initially gave him credit for. If he can block Nappa's blast with seemingly little difficulty then what else can he do? He made a mental note to keep an eye on him as this is certainly intriguing.
Nappa is about to direct his frustration at Natsu however he quickly finds himself under attack by both Piccolo and Krillin who're looking to capitalise on his distraction. Nappa is annoyed that he is being attacked by several of them at once, but he is powerful enough to fight them all. He fires a powerful energy blast towards Krillin, who narrowly avoids the blast but is knocked to the ground. Nappa then turns his attention to Piccolo and punches him, knocking the Namekian to the ground and sending him flying across the battlefield. The Dragon Team is stunned by Nappa's recent assault and are clearly unable to match the might of the Elite Saiyan warrior.
Gohan attempts to hit Nappa with a powerful energy wave, but Nappa quickly moves out of the way quickly and dodges the attack before sending Gohan crashing into the ground with a kick. The Elite Saiyan is quickly proving himself to be a worthy foe for the Dragon Team as he moves swiftly and strikes them all down with no difficulty all while dodging their attacks with ease and leaving them all on the ground.
Nappa laughs, as he sees the devastation he has caused. The Elite Saiyan warrior seems to delight in being able to easily overpower his foes, and is clearly enjoying the feeling of proving his superiority before turning his attention back to Natsu who was preparing himself to attack Nappa.
But before either of them could do anything, Vegeta suddenly yells in a nonchalant manner "Nappa! Behind you"
Nappa is surprised by Chiaotzu's sudden attack, and shouts in surprise as he is caught off guard. The Elite Saiyan warrior tries to struggle free of Chiaotzu's sudden grab, but the small fighter is surprisingly strong, and Nappa is unable to shake him off. Nappa growls, frustrated that he did not see the small fighter coming.
"What the hell is going on here? What is that pipsqueak doing?!" Nappa tries to pry Chiaotzu off of his back but to no avail as he's left struggling to get him off his back while midair.
Tien who just landed on the ground while clutching his stump then looked in horror as he realised what his friend is about to do "Chiaotzu no! Please! Please don't!"
"I'm sorry Tien I have to say goodbye to all of you" Chiaotzu said in a sad tone as he started glowing much to everyone else's confusion and fear as well as Nappa's surprise.
Nappa looks over at Chiaotzu, shocked and confused, as he is unsure of what to make of this. The tiny fighter is suddenly starting to glow, as Nappa stares in alarm, not sure what his plan is. "What the?! What are you doing, little guy?"
"Chiaotzu! Noooooo" Tien yelled in despair while The other Dragon Team members as well as Natsu and Happy gasp and look shocked as Chiaotzu explodes with a powerful blast, which rocks the entire battlefield as Nappa is heard yelling. Chiaotzu's final sacrifice has saved everyone from certain death, and they are all deeply grateful for his sacrifice.
"Why...? Your friend here didn't have to do this." Natsu said in disbelief and shock as he witnessed this small guy blow himself to smithereens.
"Heh, I didn't think he had it in him to do that, sacrifice his own life in order to take that brute's life. Well done!" Piccolo said with a smile as he was certain that Nappa is dead.
However once the smoke cleared, the Dragon Team was shocked. Not only has Nappa survived but he also looks unharmed and quite smug about it. He looks back at the Z-Fighters, and gives them a cruel laugh. "Hahahaha! Do you really think that a pathetic display of weakness like that would be able to stop me? You're all even more of an idiot than I thought!"
"N... no way! It didn't even leave a scratch...?" Krillin said in horror which was a sentiment shared by Piccolo, Tien, Gohan and Happy while Natsu clenched his left fist as he is getting increasingly angry by all of that senseless carnage.
Vegeta simply smirked as this was totally expected "Heh, he didn't even leave a body behind to bury"
Natsu glares angrily at Nappa, clearly upset that he has essentially killed Chiaotzu in cold blood. Natsu is a kind and compassionate person, and he cannot believe how easily Nappa dismissed the death of an innocent person, without a second thought. Natsu is upset and angry, and he looks ready to fight Nappa to avenge Chiaotzu's death even if he doesn't know him.
"It's your damned fault that this happened! You scumbag caused him to die!" Natsu's voice rised to a yell, and he raises a fist at Nappa, clearly ready to make Nappa pay.
"Ha! What are you talking about? The dwarf blew himself up!" Nappa said as he started laughing.
Natsu glares at Nappa and looks furious, as his eyes narrow in irritation at the arrogant Saiyan warrior. He does not like Nappa's heartless attitude, and he is not willing to allow Nappa to get away with this injustice. Natsu is clearly ready to battle this arrogant warrior, in order to avenge Chiaotzu, to save these strangers he just met, and to prove that he will not tolerate Nappa's evil ways. The Dragon Slayer raised his fists as he's about to go on the attack again.
However much to everyone's surprise and to even Nappa's, a powerful blast hits Nappa. Tien used all of his life force in a last ditch attempt Tri Beam in order to avenge his friend as he slowly fell on the ground and it was only a matter of time before he died. But unfortunately all it did was spook the bald Saiyan for a bit while also damaging his armour. Before he dies, Tien gives one last look to his friends, who are clearly saddened and affected by his valiant sacrifice. After a few moments, Tien closes his eyes for the last time, dying to attempt save the rest of the Dragon from a painful death at the hand of a heartless Saiyan warrior while also joining his friend Chiaotzu.
"You idiot! That last ditch effort was useless! I'm still standing!" Nappa who was still midair said as he tossed his broken armour on the ground as he is now bare chested.
Natsu is clearly upset and saddened by Tien's death, and his expression turns to one of anger and a desire for revenge. He and Happy look at each other, determined to do something now that this man has died just to delay and slightly injure Nappa, who seems to be completely unharmed. Natsu looks over at Piccolo and the other Z Fighters, his eyes filled with sorrow, and he looks at them with a look of sympathy as they were also in a state of shock and sadness except for Piccolo since he has his own reasons to fight.
Natsu's eyes widen in shock, as he notices the corpse of another man on the ground. He looks at Yamcha's body, a confused and concerned look on his face. How many people will Nappa and Vegeta kill? Why are they so ruthless and heartless? Natsu wonders how many more lives Nappa and his partner are willing to take, how many more innocent people they will kill, to satisfy their hunger for power and bloodshed, and their thirst for the thrill of defeating those who are weaker than them. The worst part for his as how smug they both looked about the whole thing.
The Dragon Slayer then stepped forward with fiery determination and anger in his eyes. "In the name of Fairy Tail, I'm gonna turn you bastards to ashes! No more senseless deaths on my watch! NO MORE!!!"
An aura made of fiery fire then flares around him as he is now ready to teach Nappa and Vegeta a painful lesson about respecting life while Krillin, Piccolo and Gohan could only look in awe at this stranger who was about to show what he can really do on the battlefield.
