Makino tells Luffy and Ace several scary stories during a rainy day. Each Scary Stories are based on American, Mexican, and Japanese Urban Legends and Creepypasta stories, featuring well known One Piece characters.

Vice Admiral Smoker, Tashigi, and the G-5 Marines were on their way sailing to Vegapunk's place. When it become nighttime Tashigi stayed in a room with the children that they save from Ceasar Clown who experiment on them in Punk Hazard. The children were fast asleep, Tashigi just sat around reading a book and made sure everything was okay with the children.

Tashigi then notice something at the back corner of the room when she got closer, she find out that it was a snowy white harpy statue that looks like a demonic entity with sharp long icicle-like fangs and berserk-like eyes. Tashigi covered up the harpy statue with a blanket, because it was terrifying to look at. Tashigi stepped out and contacted Smoker with a den den mushi who was on night watch outside the ship.

Tashigi told Smoker about the harpy statue and asking who got the statue onboard and put it in the room where the children are staying, Smoker was silent for a moment, and told Tashigi, "To take the children and get out of the room… I'll be there with backup. We don't have a snowy harpy statue."

When Smoker and the G-5 Marines who are backing up Smoker found the children and Tashigi on the ground with pools of their own blood. No statue was found.
