A world with quirks means its people are going to wind up rather quirky. Whether heroes, villains, or somewhere in-between, every BnHA character deserves to have their story told. These are but tiny 100-word snippets of their lives, told one a day, every day, in 2023. Newest chapter: Beru Asui is happy at home with her family of five. But the norm is about to be shaken up.

291. Beru Asui

A.N. — Here starts my dumping ground for named characters who are relatives of more noteworthy characters. Up first is the mom of an adorable amphibian. Her name is also (I assume) yet another Star Wars nod in the Boku no Hero Academia universe.

Sending her daughter off UA filled Beru Asui with a sense of motherly pride. But she knew the absence of her oldest child from their household would reverberate deeply.

Though her husband was often away for work, their home was never quiet. Beru could keep up with the domestic chores, but it was another story without Tsuyu there to mind Samidare and Satsuki. Her youngest children weren't rowdy, but their irresistible, youthful urges to hop around could not be quelled. Beru was more sedentary, but seeing Tsuyu leaping for a lofty goal made Beru want to do her best, too.
