Kyabendisshu was the Prince of the Burujoa Kingdom. His only real friend was his pet horse, Faruru. Eventually, he found a sort of friendship with another peer, Gardoa, and a small group of his friends. Kyabendisshu later on discovered that the group turns out to be a cult worshiping a monster named Hakuba. Hakuba also known as Kamaitachi, is a monstrous supernatural serial killer in East Blue folklore, it is known to cut people up so fast as if the victims were cut by the wind.
Gardoa and his friends proceed to blind Kyabendisshu and then perform a cruel ritual on him, thus killing Kyabendisshu in the process. His body is soon possessed, with his face being shadowed, and his eyes becoming completely white, and his mouth forming a permanent whilst smile showing no teeth.
He butchers Gardoa and the others; ripping off their faces, slashing their guts, and disemboweling them. He took their livers afterwards presumably as snacks, and left the Burujoa Kingdom.

An adventurer and admiral of theYonta Maria Grand Fleetfrom the Standing Kingdom, named "Massacre Ruler" Orlumbus, stop at Rommel Kingdom for supplies.
While there, Orlumbus hears about the local urban legend about Hakuba of Rommel, which is an infamous strange wind that would cut people down at night, it is named after Hakuba / Kamaitachi in East Blue folklore. The Marines and World Government agents were sent to investigate in the past only for them to become his victims.
Late at night Orlumbus and along with his fellow crew member of theYonta Maria Grand Fleet, Columbus, were heading back to their fleets after doing a last minute errand. All of a sudden Orlumbus spots a large gash on his cheek, then he and Columbus notice a human liver lying in the ground in front of them. Then the both hear heavy breathing behind them. When they turn around to see, they see a person dressed in a ruffled white v-neck shirt and dark purple trousers, and his eyes were completely white, and his mouth is nothing more but a sinister smile showing no teeth. Orlumbus manage to grab out his whip, while Columbus took out both her sword and pistol before the man could attack. The man jumped and clawed at Orlumbus's chest. Columbus fire her pistol at the man but dodges them and flees, Orlumbus is then knocked unconscious.
When Orlumbus awakens in the hospital, it is revealed to him that Columbus had been killed the previous night. He learned from the Rommel Kingdom authorities they found him lying next to Columbus's corpse. When the authorities got closer they notice that Columbus's liver was ripped out of her body and it also had a bite mark on it. The Rommel Kingdom authorities had concluded their invesgastion to Orlumbus that he and Columbus had a run in with non other but Hakuba of Rommel.
