• The Freedom of Chaos •
Ever since Yamato was a child, her father, a pirate captain name Kaido, hated her and despised her. This was because she was nothing like Kaido, and wanted be like her idol Kozuki Oden, who was Kaido sworn enemy in the past. Yamato wanted to go on adventures and be free just like Kozuki Oden. Kaido, her father, decided to isolate her from the outside world, and kept her in Onigashima, his pirate crew's home base, so nobody knew Yamato was his child or was even alive.
When she was 15 years old, Yamato dreamed of wanting to go outside world going on adventures and be free like Kozuki Oden was able to, she always dreamed of it but she was trapped in Onigashima so she knew her dream could never be fulfilled in that position. Yamato would visit the weapons room where her father kept a long Kanabo that was rumored to have belonged to an Oni who dropped the Kanabo during a war and the Kanabo was left in a battlefield taken by human hands and passed down for generations and the Kanabo ended up with Yamato's father, Kaido. Yamato adored the Kanabo so much, wanting it to be hers and always thinking it belonged to her and that the Kanabo chose her.
Yamato is so miserable in Onigashima sometimes she will secretly run away. However each time she does her father, Kaido, would found out when his pirate crew would report seeing Yamato trying to sail away from Onigashima, which greatly angered Kaido since he wanted the existence of Yamato to be a secret. When Yamato is caught she is usually taken to Kaido, and he would beat her.
When Yamato was once again caught trying to escape Onigashima, this time trying to steal one of Kaido's main ships, Yamato was caught and brought to Kaido. Yamato had her head slammed by Kaido's Kanabo and was knocked out. She later woke up in a cell. Two pirates of her father's crew named Ulti and the other Black Maria who were bodyguarding Yamato began to make fun of her and mock her by calling her an idoit thinking she can be like Kozuki Oden, and that she needs to give up running away and obey on her father's demands. Yamato, however, shot back and mocked Ulti calling her a "dumb bitch" for thinking her father is all that great but is nothing but an abusive father and an awful pirate despised by many, and Black Maria a "slut". Yamato told Black Maria of her tricks and told her she was just being manipulated by her father. Both Ulti and Black Maria became enraged and began to beat Yamato, stomping and beating on her. Yamato start to giggle then brust into laugher despite getting beat up. Yamato then punched Ulti with all her immense strength knocking her out. Yamato then jumped and grab Black Maria by the neck and started to strangle Black Maria to death. She called Black Maria a whore right when she took her last breath.
Yamato broke out of her cell and goes to the weapon room where the Kanabo was. Ulti then woke up and found Black Maria dead. Ulti then ran out and use her Observation Haki to locate her. She sense her going to the weapons room, and headed her way. When Yamato arrived in the weapons room, she took the Kanabo from the wall where it was hanging, planning to escape Onigashima.
Kaido got a call from Ulti that Yamato is in the weapons room and plan to escape Onigashima once again, and got her counter in the room. Kaido made his way to the weapons room along woth a few of pirate crew. When they arrived they found Yamato waiting in the room with a Kanabo, and they also found Ulti dead on the ground. Ulti's head was covered in bruises and wounds. Apparently Ulti was clubbed to death by Yamato's Kanabo. Without warning Yamato jumped and attack her father and a few of his pirate crew. Dina club her father's pitate crew legs, causing them to immediately scream in agony and unable to pull themselves up and fight. Yamato laughs and laughing unstably whispering and rambling on about being Kozuki Oden and due to her oppression she would fight for freedom for all humans. Yamato repeatedly clubs her father in the head, stomach, and back, before hitting her father's forehead knocking him out, she yelled,"I'am Kozuki Oden! I was born to boil!"
Yamato changes into a new outfit and puts on a Hannya Mask. Yamato leaves Onigashima right after she set her father's mansion on fire and smiled and set sail to the seas, finally about to go on adventures and be free like her idol Koizuki Oden.
