A year has pass as john is now 2 years old, the kingdom was in peace, besides the crimes that still exist in the city. John is now walking on two legs now, as his parents are spending time with him whenever possible. Jo and parasoul are having issues in their kingdom, the crime keeps happening and the medici are back once again now under Vitale rules. Jo would want to deal with him and get them out of the way but parasoul was not doing anything against them again.

Jo being confused wanted to know why, she said that even taking them down with the law was not an option, killing him will make them look like judge jury and executioner. So for the first time, parasoul will not get into their way again, which didn't sit well with jo but understands, as long they won't try anything against them. Until not long ago.

A mouth ago, time has pass as they were spending time with John and themselves, John's birthday was today on October 1st as everyone was getting ready for the celebration. Parasoul was in the bathroom with her son just washing him, she was excited for his second birthday while he was just playing with bubbles.

"You're looking forward to your birthday? You don't know it yet but today's your birthday."

She proceed to wash his hair as jo was in the dinner hall making sure that the table is set, the rest of parasoul's team were making sure to invite a few friends to the party, while Adam was guarding the entrance and making sure no intruders come to the castle.

Everything seems to be going well as the time for celebration was almost there.

Jo was heading to their room to see if they're ready, when he was heading there he saw the two heading his way. Parasoul was holding on to john, jo stops and had her walk by.

"Hello jo, let's head to the dinner hall."

"Yeah, let's go, the guest are waiting."

They head to the dinner hall as it was fill with many people around the large table, most of the people there were either rich, royalty or jo friends he made back then such as filia and her partner.

The people stops and turned to them as jo said.

"Why you guys stop? The party just Started."

Everyone continue what they were while plenty of people went to them and started to have a conversation with them and admire John.

Soon filia and her partner head to them but had a hard time trying to get their attention since plenty of guests were in the way.

"I can't get there attention."

She said as the man right next to her said.

"Yeah, there's too many in the way."

Then they heard a gruff voice.

"Let me handle this."

"Oh no, don't-"

Before she could finish her sentence her white bow decor hat was push off as her hair was now wiggling in the air as he said.

"Move aside snob people!"

This caught their attention as this causes them to nearly panic.

"A parasite!"

Jo know who it was as he sigh and face-palm himself softly.

"Oh great, I forgot about samson."

Parasoul was not alright with this as jo see the group of people move aside as he see the two heading to them.

Jo had a weak smile as they were heading to them, filia was a little uncomfortable but still smile weakly.

"Hey filia, nice to see you and your pal."

"Heh, yeah, thank you for inviting us."

Her friend who was rather normal looking with black hair, dark blue eyes and is taller than filia but not jo.

"It's an honor to be in your presence your Majesty's."

He lean his hands out as jo shake it.

"Erg yeah, you really don't need to be too formal."

"Oh, okay well is nice to meet you and your wife."

Parasoul step forward.

"Is nice to meet you too, and you too filia."

They look at filia as she smiled, samson spoke up.

"Don't forget about me."

"Yeah we hadn't forget about you samson."

"So, how you three been?"

Parasoul said as they talk for a while until they heard another familiar voice.

"Hey sis."

They turned around to see parasoul little sister name umbrella, she's wearing a navy blue dress, she's a little taller than before at least 5 inches.

"Ah, you finally show up."

Parasoul said which jo response.

"Yeah, tell me about it."

She didn't seem to fond of that.

"Hey, I had to make sure hungern won't try anything like eat my furniture."

Jo was a bit perplexed which the others were the same besides parasoul.

"It should be fine umbrella, just enjoy yourself right now, the celebration will begin soon."

"Alright, I'm taking two slices of cake for hungern when is over. I promise him some slices."

"Go ahead, we got plenty of cake to go around."

He lean his hand to his left to point at the large pink cake with white cream dress on it.

Umbrella was looking forward to it.

"Mm, I can't wait to taste it."

"Right, come on let's gather everyone around to start this feast."

"Right."

Parasoul said as the group went to the opposite end of the room as jo grab a glass and was about to tap it until the doors at the opposite end swung open revealing some people wearing clown outfits and carrying presents. This confuse the two as well a few but most others weren't the wiser.

"Uh, did we hire clowns?"

"No."

"Oh. That's pretty sus."

Many people dress as clowns were gathering around as parasoul said demanding.

"Okay who hire you?! We didn't send any clowns here."

"Yeah, my son is only two years old, he ain't ready for clowns like you. Including you pennywise."

He points at a clown that had almost a striking resembles to him, then a mascot came in that look like a purple cartoon bear that was helping another person carrying a giant present.

They put it down as parasoul said.

"I'll asked again, who send you, tell me now or you all will be kick out or arrested!"

The clowns started to sing happy birthday as egrets started to show at the doorway as jo knows something's wrong.

"Parasoul, something's not right. I feel like I seen this before."

"What do you mean you- Oh my sweet stars."

They finished singing as the large present open up revealing a women wearing a dark gown and black fur hat welding a large mechanical gun like cannon on her right arm.

Jo realize what this reminds him as he said out loud.

"Is an attack!"

She fired right at them but jo got into the way as a bright yellow light shine as it exploded. The smoke dispatch as john cried out as two bright aura was visible around jo and parasoul.

Everyone of the clowns stare in worriment as they all see a large humanoid right behind jo, it had a bald eagle head and was shirtless.

The egrets ready their firearms at them as jo step forward.

"You're either reckless or stupid."

Some clowns drop their presents as it open up revealing a weapon, this soon lead to some to look at each other as parasoul said.

"Coming to our home and attempted to attack us was a mistake, surrounded now and we will be merciful."

The girl named black Delilah started chuckling.

"We came here for medici regard."

"And now you'll be leaving in the same box you came in."

She tilt her head slightly with a narrow brow.

"Say, that's my line."

She looks at them and nod her head as a few were hesitant but they open the box and pull out their weapon as jo call out.

"Fire!"

They open fire on them as everyone who are the guests were frighten and yelling out in fear and running to where the two were. The clowns were being riddle with bullets as black Delilah was already out and start firing at each side.

Jo lean his hand out to Parasoul.

"Par, keep john safe! I'll deal with this."

Parasoul call out to jo but she keep hearing john distress as she listened to jo and head back while jo head to her.

Explosion was flying around the room killing a few egrets while clowns were either running away or heading to the guests but were stop by egrets or even jo on his side by punching them which send them flying.

A lot of egrets and clowns are dead as Delilah had her attention on jo as he quickly head to her as she fire a Grenade at him which his stand grab and toss it back to her.

She quickly jumped out of the way and start firing at him which he reflect them away without harming anyone else. She jumped on the table running through glasses and plates and jump right at jo ready to stab him with a blade that came from her gun but jo stand quickly punch her which send her flying backwards into a pillar.

She quickly shake off the disoriented and ran after him still firing which he reflected back to her but they missed her. Jo stand grab a grenade as it exploded in his stand hands but had no effect on him.

Her handcannon change into a long blade which attempted to stab him but he dodge, she try stabbing and slicing him but he dodge and push it away with his stand. When he had his chance he punch her to her side and punch her hard which send her flying, crashing into the table sending her over the table.

Jo approach quickly as she attempts to get on her feet as his stand grab her by the throat and toss her to the door as she landed.

She use her cannot as leverage as she stood up, she stare at him as more egrets came in and points there guns at her.

"You're surrounded, either you give up or die. Your choice."

Jo said ended with a smirk as she got up, annoyed by his words.

"I like the third option, but know this: The medici won't take what you did so easily. Your son, will be targeted from us. You better hope he won't leave."

Jo and the others couldn't see her expression but she was smiling underneath that gown. This upset jo but made parasoul uncontent

"Egrets, fire!"

Delilah fired a Grenade that exploded into a large smoke which obscured their vision as she crackling laugher was heard as she seemingly vanished.

Jo cuss silently as his stand dispatch, john calmed down as everyone was less worried but still shaken. Egrets was recovering the body count as everyone who are guests left, jo apologized to filia and her friend about the trouble but they didn't took it to heart.

In fact they hope for the best for them as the dinner hall was wreaked, it was the least of them concerns as jo and parasoul went into John's room as she lay him in his crib as parasoul look over him with sorrow, it changed to upset as she turned to jo.

"I can't believe they would do this, attempted to attack us on John's birthday! They won't get away with this."

Jo was understanding but figure this was conflicting.

"Yes, I know but if we attack then this might look bad on the press, it might lead to many casualties."

"I know, but at this point is them or our son."

"Honey. I want to take them down too, but we can't go up and cause like, a civil war or something. This will lead to many deaths, things happen and it will look bad for our reputation."

Parasoul was annoyed at this.

"Then what do you suggest?"

"We find a peaceful solution."

This made her surprise slightly which was strange.

"Really? I honestly wouldn't expect this from you."

"Yeah I know, since I was the one who killed Lorenzo, but still that was three years ago, for me it's much longer and I would like to avoid anymore deaths."

Parasoul was unsure and look away, she wasn't sure but figure he could be right.

"Right, we should find another way, but I don't trust them."

"Me neither, but we have to do something."

She looks at the crib and was sadden, she look at him and then said.

"Fine, but for now we will figure it out. Let us savor what is left of his birthday."

Jo agreed as they did just that, days later they try to have a negotiation with them but any chances were rejected, they weren't taking any options.

This upset parasoul as days turns to months. What they weren't realizing that parasoul missed some period days and she was getting sick suddenly. She was indeed pregnant again with another child.

This surprise everyone including her since they didn't realize it, jo just remember why and it was awkward.

Since then, they stay indoors the whole time, raising john as he was spending time with a few people, whether is them or her friends or family.

Then the day was coming again, for their new born baby which was another boy, named brad.

He was born on July 17 as they now have to take care of two babies, thankfully theirs's plenty of hands to go around.

The two brothers play along with each other, john was not unsure about him and was not happy about it. The two watch them "playing" along rather enjoying them trying to play with each other.

It soon lead to john playing a little rough with him which brad started to act a bit which parasoul came in and break them up.

"John, please be more gentle with your brother."

Jo was smiling at this as he went to john side as he just look at him not understanding what's happening, he put his hand on his shoulder.

"You're fine john, you're not in trouble."

Parasoul was comforting brad as jo went up to them with John in suit.

"Come, let's just have a walk around the castle."

Parasoul agreed as they decided to walk around while jo make sure that john doesn't fall. They enjoy their walk while a few egrets stationary saluted them. They stop at the middle as jo picked up john as they look out to the kingdom, jo was wondering about their kids.

"Hey hon, are the kids will stay inside and never leave? They will someday have to leave and know what is like outside these walls."

Parasoul glance at brad and back to outside with long silence.

"They will go out one day, when it's safe."

"Safe. That kingdom isn't safe, but we're sure as hell will try."

She had a small smile.

"Yes, it will."

She turn to him.

"But right now we have to deal with the medici."

"Right, we have to come to a agreement."

She look away rather in thought.

"You're right. But how are we doing that?"

"I don't know, come let's get moving. John is getting inpatient."

John was moving a bit as jo let him down as he scurry away as they follow along.

Over time they try to get a meeting with them but nothing yet, until the next year.

The medici agreed to come to a negotiation to meet at bastet den in New meridian. The two agreed to meet but were cautious, they traveled with minimal egrets cause they want the two to enter only themselves.

They were heading towards there at evening as the ride were quiet until jo said.

"You think they will try something?"

"Maybe, but I don't think is possible."

"Right, they shouldn't, not when I have it."

She nod her head as the building was coming into view, seeing the name of the building with lights shining on it.

They left the car as parasoul order the egrets to stay outside as the two head in, inside the entrance room plenty of people were waiting in benches or in-line at the front counter. The lobby was bright, having a lavish and serine look.

Parasoul in front walk pass the people as many of them were surprised to see the two there as quiet whispers from a few were heard.

Parasoul was in front of the counter as the people in front move aside either out of fear or respect. The hostess look at them with nervousness, she stumble on her words and said.

"H-hello, y-your Majesty's. W-welcome to-"

"Let's cut to the chase here, we're here to see vitale medici, he told us to meet him here."

Parasoul cut her off as the girl nervously nods her head.

"Y-yes, he's here at the reserve table. L-let me take you to him."

She turned and head off as the two follow her into the main hall where the stage is at, they walk down the walk alley as many people notice them including some of medici men already watching them.

The two were not intimidated at the least as they were approaching the table near the end as she stop right next to him and said.

"Mr medici, the renoir's are here."

"Let them sit."

She step aside and gesture them to sit as the two sit on the opposite end of him as they see him.

He was wearing a brown suit, large size and had a neutral look when seeing them.

"Ah, your Majesty's, is finally good to see you here to make some agreements."

"Right, wherever you say vitale."

Jo said rather unhappy to be in his presence, he didn't pay any mind to their expression.

"Yes, we came here to make amends, and keep our son out of your sight."

"Right. Before we start, do you want any drinks? Is on me."

"No thanks, I don't drink unless is water."

"He drink anything besides alcohol."

Parasoul explains as he glance at her.

"I see, how about you my queen?"

"No thank you, this isn't the time for me to drink."

It was quiet for a bit as he relaxed a little.

"As you wish, I still want something. Waiter?"

The nearest waiter went to him and asked what he want.

"I would like your expensive champagne please?"

"Right this way Mr medici."

He head off as jo was a bit perplexed.

"Jeez, burning through money like is nothing."

"Money is no issue for me, I believe you two can understand of all people."

The two were silent but unamused by his words.

"We don't waste away our money like you do."

Parasoul retort as he didn't seem faze.

"Ah, but you have been spending it a lot for your children birthday though."

Jo sigh softly realizing they're going nowhere.

"Listen let's cut to the chase, we got others things to do and didn't came to discuss money."

"Yes, you have children waiting at home, I can respect that since I'm going to be a father someday."

This surprise jo a bit, including parasoul.

"Really? Congratulations."

"Yes, quite."

Parasoul said a little bluntly as he said.

"Thank you. Now on to the negotiation."

Before they could start the waiter came in and pull the champagne and present it to him.

"Your champagne Mr medici."

"Yes, open it and pour it quickly."

"Yes Mr medici."

He tear the cover wrapper and pop open the cork as fizzles start pouring out as he pour him a glass and place it close to him. He said.

"Do you want to-"

"Leave it on the table."

He interrupted as he bow and left it on the table and head off.

Right before he's about to speak an announcer said.

"Coming up next Lady and gentlemen, is eliza!"

Jo was shocked to hear that and was not content with that.

"Oh no."

He whisper as Vitale notice and was curious about his reaction.

"Do you know her jo?"

He glance at parasoul and was not sure about telling him this.

"Y-yes,"

Parasoul roll her eyes knowing what he's going to tell.

"I knew her...She was, an interest to say the least."

"Interest? You mean you have feelings for her?"

"You can say that...Not anymore, now I just regret falling for her."

Parasoul was annoyed and said.

"Can we just get to the negotiation?"

"Yeah, before she's get here on stage."

He took a slip of his drink and said.

"Very well. Now, you want me, the medici family to not harm your child?"

"No, we want to make amends for the past I did."

He sits back in thought about this, he then sits back straight and put his hands together on the table.

"Very well, but before I could consider there's only two favors I will ask."

The two glance at each other not so sure what he had in mind.

"What is it?"

"I want you, your egrets and the nmpd to ignore any activities that the medici will do. The last one, you know I'm going to be a father someday, so I would appreciate if you would give us a gift for our baby, and to pay for their hospital bill."

They were silent, unsure about this as jo looks at her who did the same and was conflicted about this.

They look back at him with a stern look.

"We have to think about this."

"By all means, we have all night."

They got close to each other and start whispering that only they can hear.

"What do you think honey? Is this worth it?"

"For our son to live peacefully outside? Yes."

"But for our kingdom to have more crime in the streets? Are you sure? Many people and families are at risk."

Parasoul was unsure, almost guilty at this point. She looked at vitale and said.

"No, we will not accept your offer."

Jo was surprise slightly but was understanding after. Vitale was now upset, disappointed by their judgment.

"I see, well I guess our conversation is over."

He took his last slip, finishing his drink and stood up, the two were surprised as parasoul stood up.

"But vitale-"

"You lost your chance, don't expect any more chances."

He left as they were quiet and were speechless, parasoul was unhappy about this and was fuming at him.

Jo went a little close and comfort her without touching her.

"Hey, let's go."

She was glaring down and glance at him.

"Let's get out of here."

She left as jo follows as the announcer said while the lights dim.

"Ladies and gentlemen, is the girl you all been waiting for, Eliza!"

Jo speed up to her side.

"Oh let's get out of here."

He said in a hurry ad they were reaching the counter as the hostess stops them.

"W-wait your highnesses!"

"What?"

Parasoul snap her head at her rather upset as she flinch from that.

"Aah! I'm sorry to disturb you your highness, b-but vitale medici put his drink on y-your tab."

Parasoul was stun at that and scoff and walks away as jo glance at her with a worried expression.

"We'll pay later."

She nod her head as he left as they were in their limo now traveling back to their home. Parasoul was upset and said.

"I can't believe medici, we try to negotiate and he quickly turn us down!"

"Well, we weren't gonna accept his offer, even if it was for our child."

"He really expect us to allow him to cause more crime in our kingdom, he's sorely mistaken!"

"Yeah, but now we have to worry about john, who knows, he's probably going after brad next."

"He won't do such a thing. Medici will be put to justice, without any harm to any one."

Jo was looking doubtful.

"Right, like he'll be reasonable."

"He will, one way or another."

They were quiet as jo said.

"You know, there's no range to how my ability can protect us or him. We can send him out and no harm will happen to him."

"I rather not have any harm to happen to him at all. Even if he's guaranteed safe, the medici will try anything to harm him."

"Right."

He look away now unsure as the ride was quiet, parasoul looking more sadden.

"I don't want any harm to come to him."

"I know, we will figure something out."

They soon were back home as parasoul head to john room as he was sleeping now, jo watch from the doorway as they were quiet. One of the maids came to jo and said.

"You're back, brad had been needing the whole time."

Jo looks at her as parasoul look over her shoulder.

"Really? How's he now?"

"He's missed you guys, but he's sleeping now."

"Good, let him sleep."

"Yes, your highness."

She left as jo looks at her, she was quite beautiful looking with long golden blonde hair and was good to look at.

Jo turns back to parasoul who head to him.

"Is brad okay?"

"He's sleeping, we should too."

"Right."

Jo gesture his head to move on as she follow him while closing the door and head back to their room to prepare to sleep.

Jo was the first in bed as parasoul was heading to him and lay underneath the blanket as they were quiet.

"So, wanna try something next time?"

"We will take him down with the law, last time I try a direct approach. It didn't went well."

"I see."

"For now, let's rest."

"Alright them, goodnight."

She said the same as they rest as the days later on has been troublesome for them. Many crimes were Happening as they kept a record, many crimes were from medici while a few were petty crime.

They didn't have much time to spend with their children which upset them. It was the beginning of the new year as jo being careless or if he plan this out.

Parasoul became pregnant again as this didn't sit well with her, but accept this. This was shocking to everyone who was close with parasoul as another baby was coming.

The two were spending time with their kids, while also dealing with any duties for their kingdom. The kids were becoming a handful and this was stressing out parasoul where she have jo do most of the work or somebody else.

She spend her time taking care of herself and preparing for their next born arrival. They soon got the news of the next baby gender. This time is a girl which made parasoul relieved which made jo a little perplexed but understand, the boys were a handful.

Months has pass as the due date was near as the two were preparing. Soon the day come but it seems delay, the due day pass as it was not too long until parasoul was going through labor.

Eventually the baby was born as jo cut the cord, and he holds her in his arms, her name is ceresia as the boys has a baby sister.

Few days has pass as umbrella was babysitting her niece while jo and parasoul were doing their duties.

Umbrella was mostly watching her while ceresia was asleep. Umbrella was rather bored, she decided to get up and watch her sleep, she can't wait for her to be older so she can spend actual time with her.

The two soon enter the room which surprise umbrella who stands up and head to her, umbrella has grown a bit but was still short.

"Hey, I thought you were busy?"

She said which made parasoul shush her to make sure she won't wake up.

"She's sleeping, let's talk outside."

They head out as parasoul face her and said.

"So how was she?"

"Oh, you know, sleeping like a baby."

This made jo snicker inside as parasoul mostly ignored his reaction.

"Well, that's good. Anything else?"

"No, not really. Just really bored. The boys are a little more fun."

"Well what do you expect? She's literally born a few days ago. Besides, you said the boys play rough."

Jo said as umbrella didn't seem to fond of his words.

"I didn't say they were rough, I said they were annoying."

"Boys will be boys, wait until they're older."

Jo said nearly teasing with a smirk, as parasoul was ignoring him but was annoyed by his words.

"Anyways, thank you for watching her for us."

Jo nod as umbrella said.

"Yeah sure, make sure to have an egret or somebody to watch her, I'll babysit her when she's older."

She heads off as parasoul open the door and sneak a glance inside that she's asleep.

Months pass as parasoul spend time with their children while jo didn't have much time to spend with them, but when he do he usually spend it with his daughter since she's less rowdy than the boys.

Months later they heard the news about the medici that vitale daughter was born, the two were mixed about it but stay out of their business.

A couple of days later, the two with their three children were having a stroll outside the home, still inside the walls. John can walk with assistance while the two still need strollers. Brad was being push by jo since he seem to be the most playful of the kids while ceresia was still getting use to other company.

It was a nice stroll while new egrets were running around the castle, john went forward quickly which bothered parasoul at times.

"John, no going ahead of us."

He looks back rather not sure what he did but quickly head back to them as they continue, parasoul said to John.

"Come to me john."

John made a unaudiable noise and head to her, jo looks at him and said.

"Heh, it seems john wants to say something. Wonder when his first words will be."

She glance at him and look forward.

"It could be anything."

"John."

He looks at him as jo lean in.

"Say dad."

John open his mouth but no words come out, he then just made noises like he's trying to say something."

This caught her attention as she looks at him in interest.

"He's trying to say his first words."

John then stops and look forward, parasoul decided to try too.

"John, say mom."

He looks up at her and try to say a word which he nearly said the word, this made her smile gleefully as jo realize he nearly said his first words.

"My goodness, he nearly said it."

"You can do it john."

Parasoul encourage him as he actually said it but not exactly.

"Mum."

Parasoul gasp which surprise jo as well, they stop walking as parasoul bend over a little.

"You said your first words john."

She said happily as jo went closer as john stare at them unsure of their reaction but consider it a good thing.

Days later nothing really big happened as it was the new year, brad second birthday pass with no issues which was good. A few months ago, Parasoul was once again pregnant which didn't sit well with her, she got after jo about this which he explained he wear protection this time. But now realize that there was an issue with it, which made her pregnant again.

Parasoul will keep it of course but from that on, they will be no more of that for now on.

Later on the days had been odd, the kingdom still had vines happening which the two has been trying to make things at least better which was troublesome.

Later on, they got info about a certain woman who asked for donations for a daycare that she's planning on buying. Parasoul agrees to this and give her the money to open it up in her family name.

Later in the months their new born baby was born, another girl named juna.

At that time john was now four years old and was getting a little better at speaking but not in full sentence. His brother was having issues standing which his baby sister was starting to crawl, things were progressing fast and this was difficult for the two.

Jo couldn't spend much time with all of them, which sadden him. Parasoul has been tired recently due to duties, health from all the pregnancy and the lack of time she has to spend with her kids.

The two were in a mess, but thankfully they weren't doing it alone. Parasoul squad was helping out with their kids and duties whether they can do it or not.

Umbrella was babysitting them whenever she could but usually she let someone else do it.

When they do actually spend time with them, the combination of their kids is a mess, john is now walking and was eager to play with kids at his age but his younger siblings were still babies. So john at times play with someone else or alone, he does go into the TV room to watch shows, he had seen a show called Bernie the bear which is aimed for kids like John's age.

Is a new show that is mostly for educational entertainment, jo seen the show when he was checking on his son and saw it. He recognized that bear since it was there during John's second birthday.

It was a purple cartoon bear wearing a velvet red top hat and a red sleeveless vest.

For some reason it reminded him of his world equivalent of barney the dinosaur. It even had a similar song to it, jo was almost perplexed by this as his son seem to be enjoying it but quickly lose interest once his dad was there.

They went and did something else as days pass on, after a long days, the two got ready for rest, jo was laying in bed thinking about his time with his family.

"Hon."

"Hm?"

She gets in bed and roll to face him.

"Our duties are really getting more and more. We don't have much time to spend with the kids."

"Well, yeah but we still got some time."

"Not enough."

He turns his head to her.

"We don't have much time, I like to be there with them, but our work always in the way."

"Jo, the kids are still babies, john is getting older and soon he'll be going to school. He'll be in private school with us."

"Really? Were you home school or did you go to high school?"

"Well, during the time when my kingdom was in war. I was, home school for most of it."

He looks up at the ceiling.

"I see... Even if they didn't put a mark on john head, will he go to a actual school?"
