"Ewww, RJ sick." Rocket Senior heard the baby-raccoons saying, seeing RJ following Nebula upstairs to the bathroom to get cleaned up, but noticed the male-kit was feeling embarrassed about it which Nebula and Rocket had reassured the male-kit that it was an accident and they happened.
"Guys RJ didn't mean to puke as it was just an accident, plus mommy and I cleaned it up and mommy is helping RJ clean himself up." Rocket told them, feeding them the rest of dinner hoping RJ would be alright seeing Rocket Senior understand knowing that his grand-kit would feel better soon makihg him ginger ale to settle his tummy which Rocket foubd a good idea seeing something in his dad's big paw.
"Is that a Groot branch, pops and have an idea, as mayge if you plant it in a flowerpot, you'll get a baby Groot." Rocket told him astounding him deciding to do it, planting the branch into the flowerpot lovingly which Rocket thought sweet seeing him water it humming gently to it guessing he had good paternal instincts seeing his dad looking at him with misty eyes.
"Dad everything okay." he asked him.
"Y-Yeah just thinking that's all." he told him.
Negula understood as she loved being a mother to them, so guessed that Rocket Senior was becoming a dad again by planting that Groot branch guessing his Groot was gentle and knew RJ would understand once Rocket Senior explained to him that knowing he'd understand hoping he'd feel better so would make him something to eat once his stomachfelt better.
"You think your Groot is okay, Grandpa." RJ asked the nest morning after waking up and feeling better after last night making Rocket Senior chuckle, as the male-kit was curious after Rocket had explained to him that Rocket Senior had planted the branch of his Groot into a flowerpot but he seemed okay with it guessing he trusted his grandpa so wasn't afraid of this.
"Somebody's feeling better but yes he will, it just takes a lil while." he told him watering the flowerpot with a plastic teapkt which RJ found adorable as his grandpa explained that his Groot used to drink tea with hik so this would encourage him to start growing which Nebula found sweet as they ate breakfast and when leaving, RJ grabbed the flowerpkt explaining Rocket Senior might want his Groot there in case he started growing which Rocket Senior thought sweet.
"He can be a honourary student, bubbelah which is gery sweet thinking." he toldhim.
"Yep, since daddy was a daddy to his Groot when he was little." RJ said.
"Ohhhhh and I intend to be a good dad to mine." Rocket Senior said seeing Rocket nod, knowing his dad was feeling guilty that he hasn't been there when he'd been growing up but he was here now which was what mattered and they were bonding so maybe helping his dad with his lil Groot might help plus his dad had met Herbert and they were bonding so was hoping his dad and RJ would have a good day.
