It's been a week since Logan and his news crew set up their meetings in the Library. Turned out they had a meeting room for themselves most all the time. First two days were uncomfortable because the crew wasn't feeling it in there Library. The place looked dark and abandoned, the restroom was in miserable condition and it wasn't allowed to eat even in a meeting room. Third day was sunny and when Logan and his team got to the Library they could actually see all beauty of this old building and it's massive vintage windows. Especially in a meeting room the room was so sunny and warm. They spent an hour looking on the ornaments and decor on the walls and a ceiling they didn't notice before. The wooden decor was handmade and the ceiling hand-painted.

—Wow! Who would think that this beauty was here for almost a century! - said Ilham.

Four people were walking around the room and totally forgot about news and videos and meeting itself. Somebody walked into the room but knocked before walking in.

-Good morning! I see you are enjoying our pride and glory finally when the sun is out. - said a woman from the information desk, the same one whom they met the fist visit.

-Hi! Justice? Right? - said Jimmy smiling

-Yes. So I just want you to know that I talked to our management and they said you can eat in the meeting room but clean after yourself. But only in the meeting room there is still no food allowed on the Library floor.

-Oh! It's a great news! We are going to be good customers. No garbage! Do you hear, guys! - Jimmy still looking at the young woman shouted to the others.

-We did, Jim. Thank you. It would really help because sometimes we are working all day and it's just easier not to leave at least while it's winter time. - said Logan.

-Ok then. Let me know if you need anything, I'll be at the front desk. - and Justice left not waiting for an answer.

-Jimmy, what the hell are you trying to do? - asked Ilham. -Are you flirting with her?

-No! I mean… yes. She is … you know… I think she is cool.

-I think she is weirdo. - said Ilham getting ready for meeting.

-Why? - asked Logan, he still was looking at wooden ornaments and ceiling paintings.

-Because! We are from the zone! We know pretty much everyone… I think we would meet her somewhere but I personally have never seen her. We are the same age and we have only two schools in the zone so we would know her somehow but I don't know her at all.

-Well… when we were kids the zone had three schools so maybe we missed her, also there is some parts of the zone which almost abandoned and yet there are some people out there. Or maybe just maybe she moved here not so long ago because she told us it's here second week working in the Library.

-Moved here? Why would anyone do such thing? - Ilham was looking at a computer screen scratching her head.

It was silence for a minute because no one knew the answer then Logan speak up.

-Maybe she didn't move in but came back…

Mid afternoon they decided to get some lunch and Jimmy asked Justice if she wanted to share lunch with them. She agreed and when it was time to eat all four of them united in the Library's conference room.

—So, what school did you go to? - asked Ilham eating her sandwich

-I went to William Highnes elementary school. - answer Justice.

-That school closedown almost twenty years ago. - said Logan to no one in particular.

-And then? - Ilham was ready to ask all questions and get all answers she wanted.

-And then… I got to an orphanage home outside of the zone and went to a school there. I finished and was accepted to a community college and then I went to a police academy, and then I worked as a police officer and then I quit.

-Wow! That's a lot! - Jim chocked on his food. - Why did you… you know… quit from the police?

-I had my reasons. - the woman stood up grabbed her coffee and left.

It was silence again one more time and that one was pretty long. They never come back to that conversation and finished their work day on a hunt for a video content.

When Logan came back home the memory of a conversation in the Library emerged in his mind. He recalled one interesting memory of a girl in his elementary school. He didn't remember her name but the story his parents told him. Once they called him to the room upstairs and told him not to leave. He set next to the window and saw how police cars and ambulance were coming to a house across the street. There were a lot of noice and sirens. When his father came into the room he told Logan that neighbors had an accident. Neighbor's child was attending the same elementary school as he did. That house got abandoned after all and he never saw the neighbors kid in school. When Logan's family moved out zoning was in progress. He never came back to his old house but maybe it was time to do so.
