The White Shadow was out in about at night around the Zone Three. She already stoped one attempt to rob a small corner store. Three guys tried to take a register but Justice was there just in time to prevent it. She really didn't want to use none of her swords but one of the thieves pulled up a small gun on Justice… she made a choice to cut his hand off together with a gun. Two of his friends fled the scene leaving a bleeding guy next to the store. The owner call police and ambulance but kept screaming words of appreciation to the White Shadow which she heard long after she left two blocks north.
The darkest part of the Zone was laying on the north, abandoned houses, streets and whole blocks, it was where criminals dumped stolen cars, dead bodies and murder weapons if they wanted to rid off of them. It was dark and dangerously quiet.
Justice set on a roof of an abandoned gas stations. She listened darkness trying to catch any signs of crime activity.
-I can't give you the armor until I am sure you won't kill. - his voice was behind Justice's back it gave her goosebumps but she didn't show her fear.
-First of all. Hi. Hello. How are you. Second, do you understand the reason why I kill? I don't kill because I love it or because I am a psychopath… I kill because those guys try to kill me first and I'm just a woman in a simple dress and a cape… I can die even if a dog attacks me. If people run away before they commit some crime I don't chase them because they are usually men and apparently faster then I am but I don't shot them in a back ether I just let them run.
-That suit will give you power and protection, speed and strength and I don't want you use it to murder people. Because it's very tempting when you have power to use it in a wrong way.
-I feel you… -Justice knew what Batman was talking about. She recalled that night many years ago when a strange and strong man rapped her on a back of his car. She shrugged her shoulders. She didn't know what to say to a tall and dark figure of Batman.
Batman stood there for a minute and then held out his hand to her. She stood up next to him.
-I feel something is coming. This guy Evan is planning bad things. It's been three weeks without killings.
-About killings … I think there are more then we know of. - Justice thought about this idea since she read all the notes to dead bodies Batman shared with her.
-What do you want to say? - she saw how his eyes got wider just like human's eyes.
-I mean… did you read those notes? So this idea never came to your mind?
-I … of course I read them all and not once or twice. Made no sense to me unless your translation is changed.

-I know! I know! But the information about dead bodies is publicly available so I took a list with all dead bodies and dates and put each note to the body I thought it was more suitable. And I am sure now it was Evan's idea to begin with… that's why the investigation stuck.
Batman walked away on an edge of a roof. He was looking at Main Land shining across the river. That part of the city was bright and peaceful from the distance.
Fast moves of his fingers and he opened interactive map of Main Land with all Evan's murders on it marked with red dots. The map was right in the air and it was quite bright.
-Somebody can see us… - said Justice.
-Not today. - was his answer. - Red dots are Evan's murders so you saying there are more of them.
-Yes. When I put all his notes together in order which I feel right not the order of dead bodies. It said something like: " Once upon a time. There was a deep forest. They destroyed livelihood of it. Created a Zoo. Where a wolf eats a wolf. Where a mouse kills a lion. Where a bear fights a bull. They destroyed us little cubs and pups. But we got together in a horde. We walk where no one can. Where a peacock has a beautiful green feathers. Where rats becomes rivers. Where Sun covered with a bat wing. We walk. Travel begins when you go on foot."
-It seems right to me. - said Batman. - I was close but your version is more put together. Do you know that police doubles their forces around the city zoo after some of this notes?
-They think he will attack the Zoo? - Justice got confused. - I don't think so… he won't harm animals he basically doesn't care about them.

The White Shadow got left alone and bewildered with such an urge exit of Batman. "I guess I will never get that armor… Oh well. I will continue to kill then." - thought Justice.
