18 hours prior

Batman was flying in his Batmobile through the streets of Gotham. It was morning time but there was no time to rest. If White Shadow was right bridges could be destroyed today at any second. One good thing he noticed there were much less people outside even on a work day. Some people already left the city because of pollution, some stayed home and didn't go outside much. Unfortunately there were a lot of people coming everyday to work in Gotham from the state land over bridges. Traffic on all bridges to Gotham City was normal for rush hours. Only one bridge from the Main Land to Zones was most all the time empty, but even in morning hours there was some heavy traffic.

Batman asked Gordon to send somebody to the first and third bridges while he was about to search the middle bridge the oldest and biggest of all of them.

-Traffic. - said Batman looking on the bridge filled with cars. Thick cloud of smoke and noise surrounded the bridge. Everything was going as usual but now when he knew something could go wrong at any moment Batman was terrified of this idea. - If there is explosives anywhere close to the bridge or on the bridge I have to find it as soon as I can.

Batman got prepared and parked his Batmobile on an abandoned construction side next to the bridge. He took out a big case from the back of his car it contained drones which supposed to scan the bridge architecture and it's surroundings on any explosives. He let them go one by one all six of them. It will take time but no longer then twenty minutes to scan everything around the bridge and its structure. Batman realized that the City Government would have to shut down the bridge if he found any explosives. It would create panic amongst the citizens. City would be shut down until police and federal government figured out how to neutralize explosives.

Drones rise up and flew towards the bridge. Batman was watching monitors sensors they would let him know if there was any explosives or bombs. Drones were unseen by people driving fast over the bridge to their destinations. Batman set up trajectories for each drone not to crush into the bridge. Everything was going smooth and first part of the bridge was scanned with no results of danger when Batman received a call. This call was made by James Gordon and it had never happened before because Batman prohibited James to call this line. That day was different.. everything was different.

-What is it Gordon. - Batman answered.

-We have to evacuate the first bridge. My SWAT team located explosives on the first bridge pile. There is not a chance they can defuse a bomb on that height.

It was a nightmare one of those Bruce didn't have for a while. That dream when you think that everything what was going on was true then you woke up and thought it was just a dream but it wasn't and you were still in that nightmare. Over and over again. Batman's drones didn't finish scanning the bridge yet but SWAT team already found explosives on the first bridge.

-It was pure luck! Service worker noticed something looking as a case hanging on the wall where it wasn't supposed to be. He went down to call his supervisor and saw our SWAT and police cars pulling up to the bridge. He went straight to them and reported why he saw. - Gordon kept talking but Bruce wasn't listening because on one of the screens he just saw an alarming sign of found explosives. One of the drones was sending a signal about public danger.

-We have to evacuate the second bridge. Got one in the middle of the bridge and one more at the last pile. - said Batman.

-No! Fuck! Got to contact mayor!- James hanged up the phone.

Batman sent all coordinates of two bomb his drones found to Gordon's phone and went on the third bridge.

Now it was up to the City Government to actually do something without waiting until the problem would go away. There was only so much Batman could do on his own and definitely shutting down federal bridges wasn't in his power. He held his way to the third bridge and already saw police lights next to it they were just getting started to search the bridge.

He did parked his car on the side and let the drones go. He informed James Gordon to hold his people from working on the third bridge because drones would scan the bridge faster.

All possible police resources were thrown to regulate traffic in the city to avoid panic but it was unavoidable. The hell had risen in Gotham City within next two hours.
