Alright, here we are at chapter 11.
In this chapter, Lincoln will tell his family, his girlfriend, and his best friend about everything he learned and what he wants to do with his powers.
Now for the reviews.
beninator5: Good idea.
avenger44: Thanks.
phil34metro: Oh yeah.
Jason Chandler: Good idea. I just have to see how I can have the sisters gain powers if I decide to give them powers.
Lets get to it.
Lincoln made his way back inside the ship.
When he got to the keystand, he was met by Jor-El.
"How was it?" Jor-El asked his son.
"It was amazing, Dad." Lincoln responded. "I now know what I want to do with these powers. I can use them to help others."
"I'm happy to hear that, Kal-El." Jor-El replied.
Lincoln realized he had no idea how to get back home.
"Um, how do I get home?" he asked.
"The key you brought." Jor-El said gesturing to the key still inserted. "Just hold it and think of home."
Lincoln then grabbed the key.
"Thanks, Dad." He said.
"Of course, son." Jor-El responded.
Lincoln then held the key, and thought about his garage.
Lincoln then vanished in a white flash.
When the flash dissipated, Lincoln was back in the garage in front of the ship.
He then put the key back in the ship, closed the hatch, and left the garage.
He was still wearing the suit he got at the large ship in the arctic.
Lincoln looked everywhere to make sure no one would see him, even the sky.
The coast was clear, and he quickly made his way inside the house through the back door.
Lincoln heard the T.V was on, so he knew his sisters were watching something.
When Lincoln entered the living room, his sister immediately noticed his suit.
"Woah, little bro." Luna said. "You look rockin."
"You look, totes fabulous." Leni said.
"You look nice Linky." Lola said. "That suit is much better than your dorky Ace Savvy costume. Especially since he wears his underpants on the outside."
"You look good, Linc." Lynn said.
"You definitely look cool, big brother." Lana said.
"Thanks guys." Lincoln responded.
"Where did you get that suit?" Lucy asked.
"I'll tell you all later." Lincoln answered. "First, I have to text Jordan and Clyde to come here as well. They should definitely hear this."
30 minutes later, Jordan and Clyde arrived at the house. They were both very impressed by Lincoln's suit.
"You look amazing." Jordan said.
"Thanks, my love." Lincoln responded.
They both kissed.
Soon Lynn Sr. and Rita arrived back at the house.
Now Lincoln could tell them all.
"Ok everyone." Lincoln addressed. "There's something big I have to tell you."
He then took a deep breath, and smiled.
"I now know where I came from." Lincoln revealed.
Everyone was shocked.
"How did you find out?" Jordan asked.
"Well I was in the garage looking at the ship that brought me here." Lincoln explained. "That piece of metal that Mom had analyzed actually teleported me to a large spaceship. Over there I actually met my father. My birth father."
Lynn Sr. was a little hurt at this revelation.
"Well actually his consciousness." Lincoln continued.
"You mean, like his spirit?" Lucy asked.
"I guess so." Lincoln responded.
"Wicked." Lucy said.
"Anyway, he told me everything." Lincoln said. "Apparently my real name is Kal-El."
"Kal-El?" they all asked.
"Yes." Lincoln confirmed. "I come from a planet called krypton. From what my father said, its atmosphere is a lot harsher than earths atmosphere. For thousands of years they had a space exploration program. They spread out through numerous worlds. Then suddenly, krypton established artificial population control. They abandoned the space program. Somehow they exhausted their natural resources. Because of that, the planets core became unstable, and Krypton exploded. My parents actually knew what was going to happen. Thats why they sent me here."
Everyone was speechless from what Lincoln just told them.
After a few minutes, someone finally spoke.
"Well, that story was out of this world." Luan joked laughing. "Get it?"
As usual, everyone groaned.
"But seriously." Luan continued. "How are you holding up?"
"Alright." Lincoln answered. "I mean it's definitely a lot to take in, but I'll be ok."
They all hugged him.
"We're here for you Linco-, I mean Kal-El." Lucy said.
Lincoln smiled.
"You can all still call me Lincoln." He said.
"Are you sure?" Jordan asked.
"Absolutely." Lincoln responded. "I honestly prefer 'Lincoln' anyway. It is the name I grew up with."
They were all relieved.
"Good." Lucy said. "Having to call you something other then 'Lincoln' would be really weird."
"That's true." Lincoln said.
Then Lola noticed something on his suit.
"Linky." Lola addressed. "What does that S on your chest stand for?"
Lincoln looked down at the logo, then smiled at Lola.
"Actually, it's not an S." He said. "On krypton it means 'hope'."
"Ok." Lola responded.
"Anyway, that brings me to the next thing I have to say." Lincoln continued. "With this suit, plus the powers I have. I now know what I want to do."
"What's that?" Lynn asked.
"I want to be a superhero." Lincoln exclaimed.
The silence could be cut with a knife.
"Lincoln." Lori said. "This isn't one of your Ace Savvy comics."
"She's right, dude." Luna said. "This is real life. Its very dangerous."
"We don't want you to get hurt, Lincoln." Lola and Lana cried, hugging him.
Lincoln hugged them back.
"I appreciate the concern." Lincoln said. "But I feel that this is my calling in life. You all have found yours, this is mine." Lincoln said to his sisters.
"Yes." Lori agreed. "But none of our callings are dangerous."
"True." Lincoln said. "But this is something I want to do. Besides I have all this power, I might as well use it for good."
Jordan walked up to him
"Do you promise to be careful?" she asked.
"Absolutely." Lincoln responded.
Jordan then kissed him.
Finally the parents made their decision.
"Alright, Lincoln." Rita said. "You be very careful out there, understand?"
"I will, Mom." Lincoln said.
They all hugged him again.
"Wait." Clyde said. "Lincoln, what's your superhero name going to be?"
Lincoln froze.
"Oh yeah." He said. "I do need a superhero name."
Suddenly Lincoln thought of one.
"I could be the real Ace Savvy." He said.
"I wouldn't do that buddy." Clyde said. "Bill Buck owns Ace Savvy. I don't think he would take kindly to someone taking the name for themselves."
"Dang it, you're right." Lincoln said.
Jordan looked at the logo on his chest. Finally the perfect name came to mind.
"How about, Superboy." She suggested.
Lincoln thought about it
"That's an excellent idea." He said. "Superboy it is."
"Wait." Lynn said. "That name won't work when you're grown up."
"Then I can just change it when the time comes." Lincoln said. "I'm sure you can come up with a new name for me when I'm older, huh, Jordan?"
"You bet." She responded.
"One more thing." Clyde said. "You need a disguise."
"You're right, Clyde." Lincoln said. "My white hair would be an easy giveaway."
He turned to Leni.
"Leni." Lincoln addressed. "Do you think you can make me a red mask that covers everything from the nose up?"
"Sure, Linky." Leni said. "When I'm done your going to be the cutest superhero in the world."
Lincoln blushed.
And thats chapter 11
The next chapter is when the action starts.
