Here we go.

In this chapter, Lincoln will have a showdown with Darkness.

Now for the review.

beninator5: Lincoln will do everything he can to save her.

Njistar: You're right.

Indoraptorman101: Yeah.

Lets get to it.

It was 10PM at Ketchum park. Everything seemed normal.

Suddenly Darkness teleported here, laughing evilly.

"Finally, night has fallen." Darkness said. "At long last, I'll be able to plunge the world into darkness, FOREVER!"

A sonic boom is then heard.

Darkness turned around and saw Superboy land. The Loud hero did not look happy.

"You're not doing anything." Superboy said walking up to the villain.

Darkness laughed.

"So, you think a change of clothes will make me fear you?" he asked. "How pathetic."

Superboy stopped.

"Yes, I know it's you, the brother." Darkness continued. "I can see all of the girl's memories. You truly have great power. There's a lot you can do with it."

The Loud hero had a feeling he knew where Darkness was going with this.

"Join me, child." Darkness said. "I can make you the rightful ruler of this world. It's only right for someone with your power to rule. The entire world will grovel at your feet."

The eleven year old hero was not amused.

"I'm not gonna be a part of your evil schemes." He said. "I know what you're trying to do. Well guess what? It's not gonna work."

"What?" Darkness growled.

"I don't want to rule this world, I want to save it." The Loud hero said. "I am a hero, a nice person. I don't want to be worshiped either. You won't convince me otherwise because I have one thing that you don't have, a heart."

Darkness was not pleased.

"Very well." He said. "Then I'll just kill you too."

He then floated up into the air. Superboy followed suit and his eyes began to glow red.

"Yes, fight me." Darkness said. "But remember, what you do to me, you do to your sister."

The Loud hero's eyes widened, and they stopped glowing. He realized Darkness was right. It was still Lucy's body.

"Then, I'll free her a different way." Superboy declared.

He then charged at Darkness, but he flew to the side at lightning speed.

Superboy then charged at him again, but this time Darkness turned intangible. The Loud hero flew right through him.

Darkness then unleashed a wave of darkness at the young hero, which knocked him back.

Superboy came to rest on his stomach. He looked up and saw Darkness flying closer to him.

Darkness then raised his arms. Dark tendrils then shot out of the ground. One of them wrapped around Superboy and threw him away. He was thrown about 100 feet before recovering.

"I know you're in there Luce." The Loud hero said. "Fight him. Free yourself from his grasp."

Darkness then fired a laser from his hands, which sent the Loud hero back into a tree.

"It doesn't matter what you do." Darkness said. "She can't break free from my grasp. You also may be physically stronger then me, but I more then make up for it with my powers."

Dark blades then emerged from his hands connected by dark chains. He then swung them and the Loud hero dodged them.

He finally charged at Darkness and managed to pin him to the ground.

"Come on, Lucy." Superboy urged. "You can fight him, I know it. You're strong enough."

Darkness then fired a wave of darkness at the young hero, but he managed to keep him pinned.

"Please, Lucy." The Loud hero pleaded, his voice choking up and tears welling in his eyes. "Fight him. Do it for your big brother."

Darkness then fired a laser from his mouth which knocked Superboy back.

"You're persistent, I'll give you that." Darkness said. "But it doesn't matter. Soon your sister will be gone forever. And this entire world will be plunged into darkness forever."

Superboy looked up with tears in his eyes.

"Lucy." He croaked. "Remember all the good times we had. All the times I've been there for you. All the times I've taken care of you. Please, little sister. Please remember."

Darkness then raised his arms and a massive orb of darkness built up above him.

"DIE." Darkness shouted.

He then dropped the orb toward the Loud hero. But he was too sad to even try to dodge. As such the orb hit him knocking him down on his knees.

Darkness then fired a wave of darkness at him. But the young hero just took it.

Darkness then summoned more tendrils out of the ground. And they wrapped around Superboy and tossed him around like a rag doll. Still he just took it.

Darkness then fired lasers both from his hands and mouth. This knocked Superboy back a great distance.

The Loud hero didn't care anymore to dodge or fight. His sister was doomed, and so was the world.

"Nothing can stop me now." Darkness proclaimed.

"We can."

Both Darkness and Superboy turned and saw it was the Young Morticians Club. They were looking at Darkness crossly.

"So, More kids who think they can beat me." Darkness said amused.

"You have taken over a member of the Young Morticians Club." Haiku stated. "We may like dark things but you have gone too far taking over Lucy, and trying to destroy the world."

"Well, I guess I'll kill the rest of you as well." Darkness said.

"ATTACK!" Haiku shouted.

Several bats then swarmed Darkness. There were so many of them that he was completely overwhelmed.

While the bats were attacking Darkness, Haiku approached Superboy.

"Superboy." She addressed. "We can stop him, and free my friend."

"How?" he asked.

Haiku then pulled out a spell book.

"There's a spell here that will exorcise him from her." She said. "When I give the signal, shove her out of the way."

The Loud hero now had a new sense of determination.

"Got it." He said.

The bats brought Darkness to his knees. Now was the time.

Haiku then got to the page for the spell. She and the rest of the Morticians club said a latin chant.

A black mist then began exiting Lucy's body.

"NOW!" Haiku yelled.

Superboy quickly flew forward and pushed his sisters body out of the way.

The dark mist was struggling to escape the spell.

Then a portal opened up under the mist. And it was sucked down. Once the mist was gone, the Portal closed and disappeared.

Darkness was sealed away again.

Superboy looked down at his unconscious sister in his arms.

The Morticians club then joined them.

"She'll be ok." Haiku assured. "She should regain consciousness in about 30 minutes."

"Thank you so much." The Loud hero said.

"Of course." Haiku said. "You should take her home. She lives at 1216 Franklin Avenue."

"Thank you." Superboy said.

He then flew away with Lucy in his arms, and made his way back home.

Soon the two loud siblings made it home. Lincoln placed Lucy on the couch, then he quickly went upstairs to change out of his Superboy suit into his pajamas. He then went back downstairs and carried Lucy to his room so he could be there for her when she woke up.

After a few minutes. Lincoln heard groaning. He saw that Lucy was waking up.

"Lucy." He gently said.

"L-L-Lincoln" Lucy said.

At first she had no idea why she was in her brothers room. Then suddenly it all came back to her.

She started trembling and she started to cry.

Lincoln immediately hugged her, and Lucy returned it while burying her face in his chest.

Lincoln also started to cry. He was so afraid that he had lost his sister back there.

"I-I-I'm so sorry." Lucy wailed.

"It's ok, Lucy." Lincoln tried to sooth.

They spent the next several minutes crying in each others arms.

When they finished crying, They both laid down in Lincoln's bed.

Lincoln pulled the covers over them as he embraced his little sister. Lucy tightly embraced her brother back, and they both went to sleep.

That sure was intense.

The next chapter Lincoln and Lucy will be with each other comforting each other after what had happened.
