Bad news: This is an NSL chapter.

Good news: This is just a dream Lincoln is having. Again, this is only a dream.

I'm sorry for adding to the backlog, but I had this idea. But I promise the ending of this chapter will be worth it.

Now for the reviews.

avenger44: Thanks.

beninator5: Thanks.

Indoraptorman101: No worries, Lucy will be ok.

Guest: Thank you. Also I will admit I won't be using all of beninator5's ideas, but at the same time I'd rather not be harsh about it.

Lets get to it.

It had been a few days since Lucy got possessed by Darkness. The entire time Lucy remained with Lincoln. Him being there for her meant so much to her.

Today Lincoln had cheered Lynn on at her softball game, her team won big time.

As always, Lincoln had been the first to congratulate her. Lynn thanked him and said how much she loved having him at her games.

Lincoln tried to attend as many of his sisters activities as he could. But because of his Superboy duties, sometimes he would have to miss them or leave early. They all understood, of course.

Right now it was nighttime. In Lincoln's room him and Lynn were talking.

"I'm just glad that nothing happened for you to have to leave suddenly." Lynn said.

"Yeah." Lincoln agreed. "I do my best to be at all your events, but sometimes I'm needed else wear."

"I get that, bro." Lynn responded. "Well I should probably head back to my room."

"Ok, Lynn." Lincoln said. "Good night."

"Good night." Lynn said back.

Lynn then left the room, leaving Lincoln alone.

Lincoln changed into his pajamas and climbed into bed. He decided to read some comics for a little bit.

After a while, Lincoln felt tired. He then out the comic back on the shelf, turned off the light, and went to sleep.

Little did he know, he would not have a good dream.

(Dream)

Lincoln and his family were currently at Lynn's softball game. They were all cheering as loud as they could.

Finally, Lynn readied the final pitch. She proceeded to do her good luck rituals. When she was finished, She threw the ball.

The batter actually hit it, scoring a home run.

The other team had won.

Lincoln approached his dejected sister.

"I'm sorry, Lynn." He said.

Lynn then hid behind a trashcan.

"Stay back." She said. "You're bad luck."

"What?" Lincoln asked confused.

"You're bad luck." Lynn repeated. "You missed last weeks game and we won. Today you came here and we lost. It all makes sense."

"Lynn-"

"You're banned from all my future games." Lynn interrupted.

She then walked away, leaving Lincoln hurt and confused.

When they got home, Lynn actually managed to convince the entire family that Lincoln was bad luck. Surprisingly they all bought it with no question.

Over the next few days Lincoln was banned from all their activities. He was even left out at dinner.

One night, Lincoln went up to his room, only to find it boarded up. On the boards was a note that said Lincoln couldn't sleep in the house because he was bad luck.

"Are you kidding me?" Lincoln asked.

"NO." Lincoln's sisters answered.

They then slammed their doors.

Lincoln felt so hurt at this.

He just walked down the stairs and went out the backdoor. He just decided to sleep in the garage for the night.

The next morning, Lincoln emerged from the garage and walked to the backdoor of the house. When he tried to open it, he found it was locked.

He then heard everyone talking about going to the beach.

Lincoln then poked his head through the doggy door.

"The beach?" He said. "Awesome."

"Hold it, Lincoln." Lori said. "You're not coming with us. You're bad luck."

They all proceeded to list the things that could go wrong if he came with them.

"Sorry, son." Rita said. "We just can't risk it."

"Now get away from the house." Lynn Sr. said.

Finally Lincoln had enough. He then ripped the door off and threw it away.

"Nice job, Stinkoln." Lynn said. "Your bad luck just broke the door."

"This isn't fair." Lincoln said. "How could you all treat your own brother like this."

"You were never our brother." Lori coldly said. "You're just some alien freak mom and dad found."

"You should have died along with krypton." Lynn sneered. "I bet your parents didn't come with you because they hated you, and wanted you to die alone."

"Taking you in was truly the worst mistake we ever made." Lynn Sr. said.

The family then walked away from him.

Lincoln's heart was truly shattered. His own family hated him and disowned him.

He dropped to his knees and started crying.

Then floating heads of his family then started circling him.

"You're bad luck. You're bad luck." The all continued to say.

Lincoln tried covering his ears to try to block them out while he cried.

But it was no use.

(Reality)

Lincoln suddenly woke up with a yell. He was sweating and he was breathing heavily.

It took him some time to realize that all that had just been a dream.

Lynn suddenly came into his room.

"Lincoln, are you ok?" She asked.

Coincidentally Lynn had been in the restroom. When she was walking back to her room she heard Lincoln scream. She then ran over to see what was wrong.

At the moment, Lincoln was just frozen.

Lynn walked over and sat at the foot of the bed.

"What's wrong, Linc?" She asked her brother.

Lincoln couldn't take it anymore. He threw himself at his sister and just cried.

Lynn was taken aback, but she quickly wrapped her arms around him.

"I-I-I Had a b-bad dream." Lincoln wailed.

"It's ok bro." Lynn comforted. "What was it about?"

Lincoln told her every detail of his horrific dream.

When he was finished, Lynn was horrified.

"Y-You said I should have died on krypton." Lincoln said before crying again.

Lynn tightly hugged her brother.

"It's ok baby bro." She soothed. "It was just a dream."

She then rubbed Lincoln's back.

"You know that would never happen." Lynn assured. "I would never think that you were bad luck. And I would never say such an awful thing to you."

"I know." Lincoln sniffed. "But even if it was a dream, it still hurt."

"We would never treat you so horribly." Lynn continued. "We all love you so much. You're the greatest thing to have ever happened to us, baby bro. I may be competitive and superstitious at times, but I'm not an idiot. I would never say you were bad luck or wish for your death. I love you too much to do those horrible things to you, baby bro."

When Lynn was finished, she also had tears streaming down her face.

Lincoln broke down again and hugged his big sister. She hugged him back.

Now they were both crying.

"I'm sorry, Lynn." Lincoln sobbed. "I know you would never do that."

"You have nothing to be sorry for, baby bro." Lynn tearfully said.

The two of them just comforted each other for several minutes.

When they were all cried out. Lincoln had a request for Lynn.

"Lynn?" He addressed.

"Yeah?" she answered.

"Could you stay with me tonight." Lincoln asked. "I don't want to be alone right now."

Lynn smiled.

"Of course, baby bro." She said. "I wanna be with you too."

"Thanks, big sis." Lincoln said.

Lynn then climbed into bed with him and pulled the covers over them.

"Good night, Linky." Lynn said. "I love you, baby bro."

"Good night, Lynn." Lincoln said back. "I love you too, big sis."

Lincoln and Lynn then fell asleep in each others embrace.

They both slept peacefully the entire night.

There we go.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter, well at least the end of it.
