Chapter 15

Naruto sat on the bridge as his shadow clones ran around the bridge aiding the old drunk and his men to finish the bridge quicker as he was growing tried of being in a small backwater village. He needed to head back to the village. "I have to get back. I have too much to do." He says to no one but himself.

"I know. But we have to finish this mission before we can start thinking of anything else right now." Came the voice of Usagi as she settles down next to him along with Ino and Shikamaru. She hands him a breakfast burrito. HE nods his head to her taking his breakfast from her.

Shikamaru pulls out a scroll and grins at Naruto. "I found something early this morning while I was looking though the other scrolls we haven't gone though yet." He told Naruto who took the scroll from him.

Naruto opens the scroll and looks at the notes at each storage seal on the scroll. His eyes widen and looks up at Shikamaru. "Your telling me the little bastard had scrolls with money sealed withing them?" He questions.

"Pretty much. But those scrolls where pretty dusty. So I don't think he knew about what was sealed within them." Said Shikamaru with a smirk.

Naruto let's out a low whistle with each amount listed at each seal. "Well…We are set up for life. With just this scroll alone." He said handing the scroll back to Shikamaru.

Shikamaru smirks again. "Well there are five scrolls with the same amount each." He told his team leader.

"Then if we give one to Asuma-sensei he will also be able to retire and get married to Kurenai-sensei." Said Ino with a grin.

Everyone nods as they look over at Asuma who is speaking with Tazuna. Who was smilingly brightly at the chain smoking man before him. "Asuma-sensei." Calls out Usagi as the others look back at her. As Naruto was going to call him over once when he is done speaking with the old man.

Asuma looks over at his team. He flashes them a grateful smile as he turns back to the old man. "Well Tazuna. I need to find out what my team needs." He tells the man as he spins on his sandal foot and strolls over to the team of ANBU that our his Genin Team. Something he has been working on still wrapping his mind around. Who would have ever thought he would be placed on a team like this. Where one of his own student's out ranks him. He stops before them looking down at them with a lazy smile on his face. "What can I do for you four?" He questions as a stream of smoke leaves his mouth as he spoke.

Shikamaru doesn't say a word but tosses him scroll. "If I, was you, I would wait to open it once we return home." He told his sensei.

Asuma dumbly nods his head as he eyes the scroll in his hands. "This isn't going to kill?" He questions the four before him.

Naruto smirk. "Nah. It might give you a heart attack. But that is it." HE tells the chain smoking man that is now sitting down next to them as Usagi hands him something to eat. He takes it with a nod as he eyes his students. As he places the scroll into a seal Naruto had put on his right forearm.

"So Asuma-sensei. How much longer are we going to be in the Land of Waves?" Question Ino as her lone blue eye stares at him.

He chuckles. "We leave in the morning." He tells them all as he watches their eyes widen and grins creeping across their faces.

"Good. For we need to talk about a month off. As we have some business to talk care of in the Land of Storm and Demons." Said Naruto as he takes a drink of his coffee as he lets out a sigh.

"A month?" Question Asuma with a little bit of shock in his voice.

"Yes, we have to go and clean up Gato's mess on our own time. As well Naruto did tell us he has a month vacation he needs to take, and we figure we tag along to oversee the operation. Or Naruto could put it as a mission request and we all take off for a month for a vacation while getting paid." Said Shikamaru with a grin.

Slowly he nods his head to the words of Naruto's second in command. "Well I know my father wouldn't give us all the time off you four need to manage all you need to. So I would advise it would be wise to place it as a mission request." He said looking back over at the blond-haired person who seemed lost in his own mind.

Naruto nods his head at this. "Well I will have to send someone in and have them place this mission request for us. As it will appear to suspicious if I go in and does a mission request." He said in a matter of fact voice.

A man with raven hair and bright blue eyes like Naruto's walks up to them. His hands in his pant pockets. Naruto stiffens as he knows who this man is and isn't too happy to have his Grandfather there at this moment. As he wanted to keep this little part of his life secret from his sensei.

"Don't worry about it my boy. I have already gone and paid the Hokage a visit. Requesting your Team and your Team alone to manage some personal business for me in all the lands you will never to be handing too. As I need you in the Land of Demons and Land of Shadows within two weeks' time. But that is once you have arrived back in the village. For there is something thing there you need to oversee for me and only a blood heir is able to oversee it. But I did tell the old Hokage that little part. But that you are the only one in the entire village able to oversee this matter for me. For I myself am unable to." Said Lucifer grinning down at Naruto.

Naruto lets out a long sigh. "Yes, Lucifer. I shall manage that matter for you. I am sure you have a mission scroll that is different than the one you gave the old man Hokage on you?" He questions raising his hand up to the raven hair man.

Lucifer smirks. "Indeed I do." He tells Naruto as he hands the boy the scroll in question.

Asuma stands up. "Hello Sir. How do you know my student?" He questions as he didn't like how this felt. The Aura coming from the man standing before him is putting him on edge.

Lucifer chuckles. "I am Lucifer Morningstar." He said introduce himself to the Jonin standing before him

A chill runs down his spine hearing the man's name and taking his hand to shake.

"Grandfather that is enough. You are frightening him." Said Naruto with a tried sigh. His own unearthly crystal blue eyes look over at his sensei. "Asuma-sensei. Please do not tell anyone about meeting my Grandfather. For only trouble will only come from it. As well Jiji doesn't know about him either. But that is his wishes on that part." He told Asuma who only nodded his head.

"Troublesome. Naruto do you have any other family that might be coming out of the woodwork?" Question his friend sitting next to him.

Naruto grins sheepishly. "Maybe. Well mostly his dad and his siblings." Said Naruto with his sheepish grin fading looking back up at Lucifer. "But I am grateful that you took care of our minor problem once we return home." He tells Lucifer.

"Do not worry about it my boy. I just want you four to grow stronger. As well. Have you looked at the scrolls I gave you while at the little bastards place?" Question Lucifer looking at each of them as his eyes linger on Usagi for a second longer than the others.

"We have planned to look at them once back in the village on our week off from this mission." Said Shikamaru with a sigh as he ran his right hand though his hair.

"Good. Inside of the scrolls are rings to help aid you with your monikers." Said Lucifer with a grin on his face. "But sadly I must take my leave. As a have some business to take care of in the Land of Tea." He said as he takes a step back as golden flames surround him, and he vanishes.

Asuma looks down at the four Genin sitting down before him. "Was that…..."

"Yes. That was the devil." Said Ino as she went back to working on a scroll on her lap as she had already finished her snack.

Asuma just slowly nods his head as he looks at Naruto. 'Now everything make since.' He thinks to himself.

Naruto grins at him. "Yeah, I know. A lot of things I do now makes more since." He says just chuckling about everything that has happen since Asuma has taken over as his "Sensei."

Finally Leaving the Land of Wave

Team ten stands before everyone at the finally finished bridge where a statue stood of the Four Horsemen. The inscription at the foot of the statue.

Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, and Usagi look at each other and laugh hard at the sight of it. "Well it has been fun. But it's time for us to return." Said Naruto as he grins at the villagers.

Asuma shakes Tazuna's hand once more and with that Team 10 leaves to head back home.

"So what is the name of this bridge dad?" Questions Tsunami with a smile on her face.

"The Great Tazuna Super Bridge." Said Tazuna when he hears his Grandson speak up.

"The Four Horsemen Bridge." Said Inari with a grin on his face when the others agree, and cheers could be heard as Team 10 just smirk at hearing the name of the bridge.

Hidden Leaf Village

"Kit. With Lucifer appearing now. Something is up. For he only comes around when he is seeking a soul that is on the run from him." Said Kurama as he sat in his open cage looking at the meadow before him.

"I know that is what is worrying me. I also have a feeling it might have something to do with the missing Uchiha's that had attacked the village the night I was born." Naruto told him thought.

"Could that Uchiha owe him their soul?" Questions Kurama as his eyes widen at this revelation.

Naruto's eyes widen as he is now standing before the village gates as he stopped dead in his tracks. "I know you hit the nail on the head Kurama." He tells the Biju sealed within him.

The others stop and turn to look at him. "Troublesome." Said Shikamaru as he lets out a sigh. "What did you figure out Naruto?" He question.

Naruto blinks looking at his friends and teammate. "I think I have an idea of who he might be seeking." He said looking around them. "But there are too many ears around and it might cause some unwanted drama for us if I say who." He told them as they nod their heads to his words.

Shikamaru's eyes widen at getting the idea of who or the clan of which he is speaking. For what he had told Zabuza back in the Land of Waves. "Does it have anything to do with what you told "HIM" when we paid him off?" He question his friend.

Naruto grins. "Yes, it does." He tells Shikamaru as the girls eyes widen a what Shika just said both girls share a look with each other. "It is wise we do not speak of this so freely and I do not believe we should inform Lord Hokage as this will stir up more trouble than we need. But it would be wise Naruto to place a trust team of ANBU on that person." Said Usagi looking back at the two male friends.

"I agree with her." Said Ino looking at their Sensei. "Please Asuma-sensei do not speak of what we spoke about in the Land of Waves. As this would draw a shorter leash on us with the councils." She told Asuma with a frown on her face.

Asuma looked at them a little puzzled until he remembered the talk, he had with Naruto about there being an Uchiha that started the bloodline wars in the Land of Water. "Yeah. Don't worry about it. I am not going to talk to anyone about this. As Naruto has already ordered it." He said talking the cigarette out from between his lips. "As well I do not need to hear the squeals of the council and elders over this." He said as he raises it back to his lips taking a drag from it.

All four teenagers nod their heads to the man as they walk into the village and sign back in from this month long mission.

"Well let's make our way to the Hokage's Tower." Said Asuma with a lazy smile on his lips.

The walk to the Hokage was uneventful besides the normal glares thrown Naruto's way. Once walking into the build and up to the age Hokage's office they find Team 7 standing before the Hokage looking for a mission to take.

"Ah Team 10 you have return. There has been a special A maybe S class mission request for your team and your team alone." Said Sarutobi as he gives them a grandfather smile.

"When will be heading out?" Question Asuma as he tosses his father their mission report.

"They said they will give you one weeks' time to rest and resupply before leaving for your mission." Said the Sarutobi to his son.

Asuma nods his head to this and looks to his team. "Well that be find with you four?" He questions them.

"That is fine." Said Naruto taking lead for his teammates.

"Very well. Come tomorrow for the mission briefing as it will take some time to go over it." Said the 3rd Hokage with another smile.

This angered Sasuke and Sakura as they openly glared at the other team standing next to them. "Why do they get A and S rank missions?" Demanded Sakura as she didn't understand why they get special treatment, and her team gets chores to do around the village.

But before the Hokage could speak Ino spoke up. "Because we have return from a C-rank mission that has gone up from C to A and in a short span of time went S-rank. We managed everything within the first few days without crying to the Hokage like a bunch of babies. As well all he had to do after handing the threat was do stander bodyguard work." She told the pinkette that was once her best friend.

Sakura's jaw dropped open at hearing this. As she didn't think Ino would ever speak to her in that fashion.

"If that is all Jiji. My team and myself are tired and need some rest from our long mission and also we need to begin prepping for this new one soon." Said Naruto as the elderly leader nods his head to the blonde hair boy.

"Yes Naruto. You and the rest of Team 10 are allow to leave now." Said the Hokage with a smile. His eyes shifting towards team seven he lets out a sigh. Team seven you have several D-rank mission to choose from as there are no higher mission in the village at this moment." Said the Hokage looking at them.

"But Hokage-sama that is a lie. There is a higher ranking mission you could give us. The one that you have ready for Team 10." Said Sakura in a smug tone of voice.

The third narrows his eyes on the pinkette. "That might be true. But Team 10 was special requested for this mission as the client needs someone with a powerful summons. As Team 10 does hold a powerful summons they are needed for this mission." He told Sakura and mostly Sasuke as the brat had a look in his eyes that he was going to find away to whine to his puppets about this...

But Team 10 just walked out of the office as they didn't have to time nor patience to deal with ducky and banshee at the moment. As they walk out of the Hokage Tower Commander Dragon, Ibiki, and Shikaku appear before them.

"I guess you three have questions?" Asked Naruto as he looked at the three men standing before them.

"Yes." Said Commander Dragon.

"Then allow us all to head to mine and Usagi's home to speak for there isn't hidden ears and eyes there." Said Naruto as they walk thought the village. No one from his team leaving his side as they all had something to say about the scroll Naruto had sent back to the village about the report about Gato's death and the little bastards dealings as well as the man's son.

This took me several days to put together and I do hope you all enjoy the latest chapter
