The flames bursting out from buildings of New York, people running for their lives, millions of others were getting eaten alive and killed. It was a living nightmare in a reality world, Kevin hid behind a taxi as he spots a group of the infected monsters walking across New York his sharp knife could not kill a millions of infected Zombies with a sharp bloody blade. There's too many of them to kill but, he needs to find something to defend himself, Kevin approaches towards a police car as he checks inside the car. He looks through the glove compartment but nothing was found but a strange sound from the outside of the police car, he walks around the car as he finds an officer becoming infected and came to life by lunging itself at Kevin. "Agh! Get off!" Kevin tries to kill the officer until it was shot through the head as Kevin didn't realise he was saved.
A woman stepped across towards Kevin as she gives him a hand, none other than Jill Valentine. "Are you okay?" Jill asked Kevin.
"Yeah, I'm fine thank you." Said Kevin. He suddenly remembers someone that he recognise from the news. "Hey, aren't you that officer from the Raccoon city police department?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah, I use to be a member of S.T.A.R.S for now." Jill didn't feel like talking about her backstory from the previous investigation of the outskirts of Raccoon city, she has seen enough horror, which is the same thing as what Kevin saw that all ready happen. But Jill decided to come up with a plan as she talks with Kevin. "Alright, since you already heard about me, I need to know your name." She asked him.
"My name is Kevin Miles, I'm 16 years old, and I live in New York." Kevin introduced himself. "I know I shouldn't be here but, I'm looking for my parents." He said to Jill.
Jill accept Kevin help to find his missing parents, but she looks towards at the knife held by Kevin. "I see you've already killed your first zombie?" Jill asked.
"Yeah, I was panicking since it tries to kill me." Kevin said. He follows Jill across the city as she asks him a few where his parents are.
"Do you know where your parents are at?" She asked Kevin.
"My mum said she was at the city centre." Kevin said to Jill. "But she said dad didn't make it because he got attacked." Kevin pulls out his school picture of himself a long with his parents, Jill takes a closer look of his parents as she is willing to help him.
"Okay, we'll find your mum in the city centre." Said Jill giving Kevin a shot gun to defend himself. "You'll need this so you can shoot some zombies and monsters too." Their journey starts across through Broadway, walking pass through dead bodies of the city. The explosion stills blows off from across every building, but the hoards of zombies are everywhere around the city.
"Damn it, there's too many of them." He said to Jill. But she knows where to take a shortcut around the city. "Wait? Where are we going, Jill?" Kevin exclaimed.
"We're taking a shortcut to the city centre." Said Jill. "Come on, follow me." Jill Valentine stumbles across through the allay way of the city, the four zombies approaches towards Jill and Kevin. He uses the shot gun to blast their heads off, but with Jill patting him on the back. "Good job." She said to Kevin.
There were more zombies coming from the allay way which caught their hearing from the gun shot, Jill and Kevin ran off taking the left turn towards the back of the door while Jill trying to open the door as she bashes it twice, and then she finally opens the door as. They stumble themselves inside, Kevin grabs the chair as he barricades it towards the back door while they catch their breaths from the hoards of zombies. "Shit, that was close." Said Kevin.
Jill turns on her flashlight as they find themselves in a bank, a big place which sounds kinda safe to stay inside a local bank of New York. Jill checks the front door as she peeks through, surrounded by zombies looking for flesh to eat. "We can't leave, there are too many zombies out there." Said Jill. "We're going need to find another way to get ourselves out of this bank." Jill tries to think of something while Kevin tries to search the whole bank. He tries to open a large vault, but he doesn't know what the code is.
"Going have to find a code for this vault." Kevin said to himself. He walks inside the manager room and turns on the light, but he finds a dead body under the table, he kept himself silent as he checks the pockets from the body for the code until he finally found it. "Bingo." Eyes was wide open which alerted Kevin, the zombie tries to lunges at Kevin. "JILL!" He shouted her name for help.
Jill hears Kevin, who is in grave danger from the zombie. "Kevin?!" She runs to find Kevin, but she found him as he runs towards her, Jill pulls out her gun shooting the zombie towards the head and kills it. Jill looks down and see Kevin holding a piece of paper as she begins to question him. "Kevin, why are you holding a paper for?" She wondered.
"It a code for the vault." He said to Jill.
"What! Are you planning to steal?" Jill asks in disappointment.
"No, I have an idea to distract the zombies by throwing the gold." Kevin told Jill about the plan, she finally agrees with him as they head over towards the vault. Kevin grabs many golds as he can as they slowly opens the front door of the bank, he throws the gold straight towards the window and smashes it causing the zombies distraction as they walk towards the building. "Okay, they're just walking towards the building, we should probably go now." Said Kevin. Jill follows Kevin by keeping him in guard and protecting him for safety, running past through the burnt and wrecked cars. Kevin finally made it the only place where he could find his mum, the city centre.
Jill and Kevin walked inside the city centre to find his mum, as Jill and Kevin decided to split up to search. "Alright, we'll have to split up as long if one of in us could your mum." Said Jill. Jill checks around the first floor while Kevin goes to the second upstairs, Kevin looks through the clothing shop as he looks everywhere in every section. Kevin decided to check for his mum inside the fitting room, using his flashlight to shine the light.
"Mum? Are you there?" He calls for his mum. He can hear her she got to be inside in any fitting room as he check through, but he found her sitting alone by herself, she doesn't look like her normal self. Blood dripping out from her mouth, Kevin begin to feel frightened about his mum. "Mum? Are you okay, what happened to you." He slowly approaches towards her as she turns her head around, she was infected, Kevin has no choice but to kill her with his shot gun. He killed his mum as drop towards his knees crying in misery of the loss his parents all gone.
Jill waited in main area in the city centre as Kevin returns from the clothing shop. "Kevin, did you find your mum." Jill asked. She looks at Kevin where bits of tears dropping from his eyes, it really doesn't sound like good news to him. "Oh my god Kevin I'm so sorry come here." Jill gives Kevin hug from the lose of his mum, Jaqueline Miles. They decided to leave the city centre as they head off again, it was time to leave New York.
