Here's the second chapter...
I wanted to update yesterday, but couldn't...
The Resistance was hit with a serious shock to everyone.
Adrien was forced to leave Paris by his control freak of a father, devastating both him and Marinette. Aisha couldn't help but feel sorry for them, and her heart went out to them; she knew what it was like to be in a forbidden love relationship.
During the end-of-the-school-year dance, she did as much as possible to comfort her before running off when she seemingly saw Adrien; Aisha figured she would give Marinette some space.
Aisha understood why Adrien only said something to them at the last minute. It was probably too hard for him, and how it would worry everyone, especially Marinette, would take it. Nino thought it was his father's fashion brand. Still, even Aisha knew Mr. Agreste sent Adrien to London to keep him and Marinette separated. Still, they could have helped him, even if they knew it would have been a lost cause deep down. Mr. Agreste is not one to change his mind—stubborn old man.
And like Adrien, Aisha knew Kagami wasn't okay with leaving Paris for London by her equally control freak of a mother.
All these ads and commercials of Adrien and Kagami together lately…Aisha wondered what was up with that…
But then again, Aisha figured out the parents wanted them to be "the perfect couple" to gain public favor whether or not without they had Adrien and Kagami's consent.
Again, disgusting.
Mr. Agreste…oh, that man…he really took things too far—no, to the extreme—when he akumatizated himself as the Nightormentor. It was his sick and twisted disturbing way of disciplining Adrien for disobeying him; just because he left London to be with Marinette in Paris. And she wouldn't blame him.
Aisha had a few words to say to him when the gang tried fighting him off when he demanded to know where Adrien and Marinette were. Even if she did, Aisha would never tell him.
"Mr. Agreste, you are an atrociously horrible father!" Aisha used two long steel rods she found at random and took a few swings and kicks at him; he dodged a couple of them and got hit by her.
"And you, young lady, need to learn some manners again," The Nightormentor retorted as he got up and tried to shoot his magic dust at her a couple of times—it missed her. "To be completely obedient. Just stay in your place."
Aisha replied, "My place is wherever I decided it'll be. Just like you need to let Adrien decide his place in life. Guide him. And allow him to be free instead of controlling him as if he's your own personal robot, marionette doll, or a slave to your archaic, nearsighted, fundamental views." She gave a kick to his chest and tried again to shoot his dust at her—he missed.
"I'm sorry he's your son, and I'm almost sorry he has you for a father."
Of course, he didn't listen. He's so obsessed with controlling Adrien that it is just plain disgusting.
In fact, she said something similar to Kagami's mother not so long ago at a dinner party at her uncle's estate.
"You, young lady, need to know your place and stay there."
Aisha whispered. "I know my place in life, Tsurugi-san, because I decide now. Just like you need to let Kagami grow and make her own decisions instead of pulling her puppet strings and treating her like your own fabricated tool for complete and controlled obedient perfection and for you to boast about bombastically. And to be frank, it's rather irritating, head-numbing, and a fool's game."
She turned around and was about to walk away when she heard Tomoe scoff at her; Aisha stopped in her tracks. "It's a good thing you won't return to your country anytime soon, young lady. You're weak, a disappointing, sentimental embarrassment to your family. You had your duties, and you failed in your responsibilities. You don't have anything it takes to be a leader, not for your people, nation, or even yourself. You're pathetic…"
Clouded with tranquil rage, Aisha did the unthinkable and broke the elder's heavier and sturdier wooden bokken in half with her fist when she sensed it about to be pointed at her, shocking everyone around her. Even the Tsurugis, especially the elder. And if she really wanted to, if Aisha didn't have enough class or self- restraint, she'd deck her in the face. Maybe even worse than that.
"You're obsolete, Tsurugi-san," Aisha hissed under her breath to the elder. "And even if you weren't blind, you'd still be too sightless and elementary to even see it; even when it's staring you dead hard in the face. So, unless you want that to happen… don't you dare to even speak of my people, family, nation…ever…again. And remember this: anything I do against you outside my nation's soil, I am protected by immunity in many countries worldwide, including this country, its overseas territories, and Japan."
"Fear is not a word in my vocabulary, young lady." Tomoe remarked.
Aisha huffed. "You say that, but I can sense it is from you." She classily picked up her other part of the elder's bokken. "You might want to get another one."
Even after he disappeared and Cat Noir managed to defeat him; everyone helped capture the akuma, something still wasn't right.
"I'm going to London." she declared. "I'm going to bring Adrien and Kagami back here."
Alya asked, "How are you going to do that?"
Aisha threw a determined look on her face. "I have my ways. You and everyone else hold down things in Paris. I'm gonna get some help. I know I've been here for a few months, but Adrien and Marinette are my friends, too. Everyone deserves a happy ending after everything that's happened lately. Plus, I have a bad feeling the worst is about to come. I'll be back as soon as I can."
Alya sighed and gave Aisha a hug. "Please be careful."
"I will." Aisha shook her head. But before she went, she whispered something to her.
A/N: Things are gonna pick up...
