Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 30: Queen of Darkness, Meeeg-chan Black
"It seems this is it for me. We'll meet again, Yudias." Zuwijo stole a page of the Great King of Terror's manuscript off the floor before vanishing with it into thin air.
"ZUWIJO!"
The shockwave that robbed Zuwijo of his gob of Earthdamar prior to his spontaneous disappearance also affected The*Luge, Chupataro, and Yuhi.
The*Luge had his negative energy sapped.
Chupataro had his sliver of Earthdamar sucked out, and Yuhi's pain, as always, correlated to the Earthdamar's resurgence.
"He's…He's awake, chupa!"
"He who? We really gotta be less ambiguous with names, cuz we can't be callin' everyone he, him, or that guy!"
That guy (the guy) stared straight ahead without flinching. He saw this coming.
The shockwave ceased, and so did the pain.
"What was that?" Yuhi caught his breath.
"It's the true enemy, chupa!"
"True enemy? What d'ya mean, true enemy?"
"I mean the true enemy Nomuratodamas warned Chupa about, chupa!"
"It's providence," The*Providence interjected.
"You're the true enemy?"
"No. But I orchestrated his rise."
"You did?"
"That Earth alien came to challenge the Great King. I tested him in a Rush Duel, but what should have been an easy victory, wasn't so. He possessed a power I did not anticipate. Something that rivalled the power of the Great King. I thought to myself, could this not be the solution I have been searching for?"
"Solution? What solution?"
"To the terror the Great King has inflicted upon galaxies of innocents! This was the instrument of his downfall we'd been praying to find! I made a pact with the Earth alien who possessed this power. I showed him the Great King's super boring manga, stored him with the others in this room, and little by little he has been absorbing Duel Energy during every Duel of this Friendship Rush Duel Tournament, growing in strength!"
"So you're backstabbing The*Luge?"
The Great King entered one of his funks. "Oh. The*Providence. That's cold."
"Please! What did you do to Zuwijo?" Yudias pleaded.
"Where he disappeared, even I do not know. Oblivion, perhaps. All the better. The Velgearian's willingness to upset the balance of the universe for power was equally life-threatening."
Asaka detested the hypocrisy. "And your willingness doesn't? So this Friendship Rush Duel Tournament, it was –"
"I acted only in accordance with providence. And you are correct. It was a farce. The true purpose of the tournament was to harvest Duel Energy, and it all went according to my plan."
"The Earth alien you made a deal with, just what power did he have?"
"Earthdamar."
"Then!" Yuhi bit his tongue. "The true enemy is –!"
"CHUCHUCHUCHUCHU…"
"That sound!" Yudias put the pieces together dead last.
"It's really –!" Yuamu gasped.
"CHUCHUCHUCHUPA~! CHUPA IS FINALLY UP FROM CHUPA'S NAP, CABRA!"
It was Chupataro. The original Chupataro, freed from the ice. Mantled in a berserk, purple-blue aura, with irises aglow and his spikes elongated and jutting out his robot's back.
Meeeg-chan was no longer encased in ice either. She was absorbed back into the original Chupataro's Deck.
"I feel it…"
"Yuhi?" Yuamu regarded her sibling with uncertainty.
"The*Luge's power and my Earthdamar…They're inside him!"
"When the immeasurable positive and negative energies of Earthdamar and the Great King converge, they result in particle annihilation," The*Providence expounded.
Tell had touched upon the subject.
"Yes. A force capable of annihilating the Great King and the threat he poses from this universe!"
"CHUPA AGREED TO LEND HIM A CLAW, CHUPA. OF COURSE, CHUPA HAS CHUPA'S OWN USE FOR THIS POWER, CHUPA. LIKE TARGETING THAT CLONE AND ERASING ALL RECORD AND MEMORY OF HIS EXISTENCE FROM THE TIME-SPACE CONTINUUM, CHUPA!"
Yuhi couldn't swallow his outrage. "You'd let him murder Chupataro, The*Providence? How's that justice?"
"One life, to save planets. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few."
A more destructive, reality-wide Pauli Effect. The boy purportedly from the future cast his eyes down sadly yet nostalgically. "Fight, Chupataro! You have everything you need to win!"
"CHUCHUCHU! FUSION, CHUPA? HE ALREADY LOST ONCE WITH IT, CHUPA!"
Is this Chupa's destiny, chupa? Chupataro asked himself. "Chupa's had it! Let's Rush Duel, chupa!"
"CHU! YOU'D RUSH DUEL THE CHUPA WHO HAS OBTAINED THE COMBINED MIGHT OF EARTHDAMAR AND THE*LUGE, CABRA?"
"He won't be duelling alone!" Yuhi beckoned Valvelgear to his wrist.
"You…"
"Let's fight as a team, Chupataro!"
"THAT'S PERFECT, CHUPA! CHUPA WILL ERASE BOTH OF YOU FROM EXISTENCE, CHUCHUCHUCHUCHUPA!"
"Ohdo Yuhi!"
"Chupataro!"
"THE GREAT DEMON KING, CHUPATARO!"
"GO RUSH!"
"GO RUSH, CHUPA!"
"My turn! Draw! I summon Carpendra and Craftroll, releasing the two of 'em! Join and explode! Join and be excited! If we join together our blazing hearts, we can call forth the strongest robot! Jointech Hero! Advance Summon!" (Level 7 EARTH Machine/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)
"Nice!"
"I'm just gettin' warmed up! Magic Card, Jointech Return! I return the Carpendra and Craftroll I just released to my Deck, and Special Summon Jointech Rex from my hand! A joined zeal! And joined bravado! If we join infinite power, we can make an invincible beast! You're up, Jointech Rex! (Level 7 EARTH Machine/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)
"Two Ace Monsters! A splendid strategy, Yuhi!" Yudias lauded.
"Chupataro and I can't attack during our first turns, so it's turn end for me!"
"Good cards are on their way, chupa! Chupataro's turn! Draw, cabra~!"
Fusion was in his opening hand.
"THAT FACE! YOU DREW FUSION, DIDN'T CHU, CHUPA?"
Chupataro curved his robot's fingers over Fusion, but took a different road. "Chupa activates the Magic Card, Lead and Follow, chupa! Chupa sends Meeeg-chan in Chupa's hand to the Graveyard, and after that Chupa gets to Special Summon a monster with a lower Level than Meeeg-chan from Chupa's hand, chupa! Come! Yuhi!" (Level 6 LIGHT Beast/Effect ATK 2000 DEF 1200)
"CHUPAA~! HIMMM, CABRAA~?"
"Chupa sets a card, chupa! Turn end, cabra!"
"THE GREAT DEMON KING'S TURN! DRAW, CHUPA! THE GREAT DEMON KING SUMMONS EWEKAI NIGHTMUTTON! TWO OF THEM, CHUPA! THEN RELEASE! MEMEMELODEATH! CATTLE MEETIANNIHILATION! CAPTURING THE SOULS OF THE WEAK! "That isn't Chupataro-kun's usual chant. Keep your guard up, Yuhi!" Yuamu coached.
"WHEN THE GREAT DEMON KING CONTROLS A LEVEL 7 LIGHT-ATTRIBUTE MONSTER, THE GREAT DEMON KING CAN SPECIAL SUMMON THE DARK-ATTRIBUTE EWEKAI KHNUMESIS, CHUPA!" (Level 7 DARK Beast/Effect ATK 0 DEF 3000)
"Ewekai…Khnumesis, cabra?"
"You know what that is, Chupataro?"
"Khnumesis is a longtime enemy of Meeeg-chan's from the Black Hole Empire viewed as its wiseman, chupa. But why has he taken the form of an Ewekai, chupa?"
"CHUPAPAPA! ALLOW THE GREAT DEMON KING TO EDUCATE YOU, CHUPA! MAGIC CARD, METARION'S MAGNETISM, CHUPA! AT A 2000 LIFE POINT COST, THE GREAT DEMON KING ADDS FUSION FROM HIS DECK TO HIS HAND, CHUPA!" (Great Demon King Chupataro LP 4000 ↓ 2000)
"No!" Yuna still had the tenacity in her to be hostile. "He has Fusion too?"
"Chu! Earthdamar's power, chupa?"
"IF YOU WON'T USE FUSION, THE GREAT DEMON KING WILL, CHUPA! CHUPAAA~! THE POWER! THE POWER IS FLOWING THROUGH HIM, CABRA! FUUUSION!" OG Chupataro, swathed in violet flames, flicked the card into his Duel Disk.
"Ahh!" Yuhi's Earthdamar pangs got to him again.
"LIGHT AND DARK! POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE! THE PRINCESS? SHE'S NOW QUEEN! FUSION SUMMON, CHUPA! TURN YOUR WICKEDNESS UPON THIS UNIVERSE! THE QUEEN OF DARKNESS, MEEEG-CHAN BLACK! (Level 9 DARK Beast/Fusion/Effect ATK 2800 DEF 2100)
"Meeeg-chan, she's…"
"He changed her into a black sheep?"
