A Japanese Weresheep in Mutsuba Town

Pairing: Developing Yuhi x Chupataro.
Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 32: Great Escape
Magical Sheep Crossdresser Yuhi's attack dislodged The*Luge's negative energy from OG Chupataro, the power returning to the singularity from whence it came in the shape of a purple mist.
The fresh burst of energy was not without consequences both positive and negative. Ironically, it was the negative energy that had a positive effect. Everyone aboard The*Luge's spaceship who'd been frozen was instantaneously unfrozen by The*Luge's power, but the real damage caused by the Earthdamar to the interior of the spacecraft caught up all at once.
The*Luge's spaceship began collapsing.
"Mayday! Mayday! We're going down, boo!" The*Yuki-Onnanoko didn't need the ship's instruments to tell her they were veering toward disaster.
Violent tremors rocked the ship.
"We must evacuate immediately!" Manabu called on everybody to make a break for it.
"Quickly! Down the space escalator! Take shelter in Mutsuba Town!" Asaka took charge of the emergency.
"Manya-nya! Let's get outta here! Bochi!"
Bochi transformed into his true self, scooping Manya up in one muscular arm and Yuamu in the other.
That guy recovered Kaizo and punched his rocket thrusters into high gear to fly Yuna out of harm's way.
Part of the floor gave out, taking The*Providence with it. A cry escaped his scarf-concealed lips.
"THE*PROVIDENCE!"
The*Providence's salvation came from a most surprising source, the Great King's gloved hand clutching his gloved hand and towing him up onto the bridge.
"Your Majesty, WHY? After I conspired against you! After I tried to have you –"
"You were right about me, The*Providence!"
"Ah-h?"
"I'm going to need your help to set things right!" He supported his Chief of Staff on one shoulder, proceeding forward with him despite The*Providence's shock. "The*Yuki-Onnanoko! Hurry!"
"It's done, boo!" She inputted her last command into the helm, disengaging The*Luge's spaceship from Val-Valvelgear so it and Mutsuba Town would no longer be docked.
Screw it! The straggling lot of them could jump down the escalator!
"Chupataro! What're ya waitin' for! Place is goin' to heck!" Yuhi yelled into his hands.
The clone didn't look back. His origin was on his knees, conquered and ready to face his fate.
"Chupataro!" Yuhi repeated.
"Yudias!" the clone ordered. "Chupa is leaving him to you, cabra!"
Yudias took one look at his eternal friend and understood, locking his Velgearian super strength around Yuhi.
"Wha –? N-no, Yudias! Stop! Let go! Chupataro? CHUPATARO!"
A section of the hull crashed down where Yuhi had been writhing to get away from Yudias a millisecond prior.
"You're…not going with them, chupa?"
"Chupa's done running from himself, chupa."
"Foolish. You have something to return to, don't chu, chupa?"
"You do too, chupa."
"Chu…"
"Before the coma…Before MIK's experiments…Even during some of the coma…You had the same feelings for him, chupa."
"Chupa threw that all away, chupa. For Meeeg-chan, chupa."
A laugh.
He'd thrown her away too. To the Black Hole Empire. To the dark side of the –
"Chupa knows when Chupa is lying, cabra."
"Chu?"
CRASH! BLAM! KER-CHUCK! KLANGG! GONGG! came more rubble.
"Our power doesn't come from Earthdamar, chupa! It doesn't come from Fusion either, chupa! It comes from him, chupa! Yuhi is our power, cabra!"
"Yu…hi is?"
"You saw it, didn't chu, chupa? Chupa won without resorting to Fusion, chupa! He was everything Chupa needed! Because he was there, chupa! He was there to keep Chupa standing, chupa!"
"He was," OG Chupataro admitted.
"He believed in Chupa, so Chupa was strong, chupa! He believes Chupa can be a better Chupa, and Chupa is a better Chupa, chupa!"
"You did all that, because of him, cabra?"
"Chupa did! Chupa can! We can, chupa!"
"We?"
"You're the original, but we're still the same, chupa. You were angry he considered Chupa the real one, weren't chu, chupa?"
"…"
"Let's go back, chupa! To YUHI, chupa!" Chupataro alighted his robot and held out his claw for his origin to take. "Choose him! Choose love!"
"Love…It's too late for Chupa, chupa."
"It's never too late, chupa! Even if the galaxy were to lose its chupa and be shrouded with chupa darkness, with Yuhi, we can chupa through!"
"You stole that from Yudias, chupa!"
"Hey, it works, doesn't it, chupa?"
"So Chupa goes back with you. Then what, chupa? We both date him, cabra?"
Whatever the case was, it was appearing less and less likely the case. The*Luge's spaceship was on fire by this point.
"The card Chupa got from that guy. That's how we do this, chupa."
"Fusion…chupa?"
"This is its true purpose, chupa! This is why he gave it to Chupa, cabra! But chu –"
"Do it, chupa."
"Chu?"
He heard Meeeg-chan's good wishes and glimpsed her ghostly, gossamer contour next to the other him's ear.
"Chupa's chosen, chupa."
Chupataro held up Fusion between them, and a vortex eddied out of the card's artwork.
Time stopped.
The ship's destruction stopped.
On the ground in Mutsuba Town, the evacuees were awed at the aurora twirling outside the dome shield. And down came the space escalator again, the base of the moving stairs embedding itself in the asphalt.
For several minutes, the steps belted with no one on them. Then somebody got off The*Luge's cruiser, riding those steps to the absolute bottom.
"Chupa…taro?" Yuhi had tears streaking both cheeks.
"But which one? WHICH ONE?" Yuna had a stress attack.
"You did this." Asaka cornered that guy. "You programmed an extra line of code into the card before giving it to Chupataro, which you knew would react to the Earthdamar in this manner."
That guy said nothing, but his smile said everything.
"Chupataro-kun, is that you?" Yuamu asked. "Or are you Original-kun?"
Yuhi instinctively knew.
"Both, chupa."
