A Japanese Weresheep in Mutsuba Town

Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 65: Riding Rush Duel! Acceleration!
His life was straynger than fiction.
Carded by an old lady. Turned into a cat. Trapped in the card world where the others who'd been carded had also been turned into cats…Cat a catastrophe!
And now he was in a town that was like Mutsuba Town but wasn't Mutsuba Town after they were spat out by the carding system?
"I have to regroup with Yuga and Yuamu, or Yuamu will meoworry."
There was that.
"We hafta free Chupataro and meowvrybody."
That too.
But…
"I'm in the future! The future! The future! The future!"
Flying cars! TV phones! Giant robots!
Get a hold of yourself! Nothing mew've seen so far proves those are a thing here. Just a bunch of Kaizos around.
This was probably the era Yuga was from.
Cat! Why don't cats have opposable thumbs, nya? Wait. How'd Nyandestar do this again? Yuhi had an ingenious idea. "CAT OFF!"
The stardust lifting, Yuhi was his regular self. With everything he had on him when the Relic carded him, including his gakuran, his Deck (still loaded into Damamu's Duel Disk), and the hoverboard he used to get away from Hottenmeyer before the MIK jobbers sealed off his escape.
"Stay where you are!"
That voice! Yuhi whirled around and pointed without thinking. "Zuwijo!"
The person he was pointing at was definitely blond. Definitely had "alien" fashion sense, what with the cape. But it definitely wasn't Zuwijo!
No flying cars, but was that a flying motorcycle?
"Who're you?"
"I'm the one asking the questions. Who are you? Neiru alerted me to strange readings in these parts through the Proprietress. And I find you here!"
"Neiru? Proprietress? I don't know what any of that means, but meow're in my way!"
"Meow?"
"I mean you're! You're!"
"A strange Duel Disk you have there. Three zones…Like Rush Duels."
His brother had a black Duel Disk, but this was the first time he'd happened upon a Duel Disk with a blade shaped like a "G."
"You Rush Duel?"
"Everyone knows the creator of Rush Duels vanished two years ago and the world has been playing Goha Duels since. However, if you're challenging Goha Yuro of the Goha Six Presidents, I will swiftly partake!"
Goha? So this guy and Yuna are –?
The Duel Disk in Yuro's hoverbike started resonating with his would-be opponent's, and compacted down to three zones from five.
"Oh? Now that is very interesting. A Rush Duel then, is it?"
"That's fine. I'll take ya on."
The ground beneath Yuhi's feet converted itself into a racetrack.
"WHAT? What's goin' on?"
"Riding Rush Duels: We'll Rush Duel while competing with the speed of our machines!"
Woah! Yuhi's eyes lit up fiercer than Damamu's. So cool!
Yuhi had to remind himself not to give his name. He couldn't let anyone in this period know he was an Ohdo. Yuro didn't repeat his own name pre-Duel, so it all worked out.
"GO –!"
"RIDING RUSH DUEL!" Yuro blew past a confused Yuhi as the signal went from red to yellow to blue. "My turn! Riding Draw! I activate the Field Magic, Rising Air Current! While I have this, all WIND-Attribute monsters' ATK speed up by 500, and their DEF shift down by 400! I summon two monsters, and affected by Rising Air Current's wind, they overtake the field!"
Harpie Lady (ATK 1300 ↑ ATK 1800, DEF 1400 ↓ DEF 1000)
Mecha Falcon (ATK 1400 ↑ ATK 1900, DEF 1200 ↓ DEF 800)
"Harpie Lady makes a pit stop! I Advance Summon Sky Dragon!" (Level 6 WIND Dragon/Normal ATK 1900 DEF 1800)
"He's summoning stronger and stronger monsters so fast!"
"Hu, hu, hu. Rising Air Current's effect!" (ATK 1900 ↑ ATK 2400, DEF 1800 ↓ DEF 1400)
"AGAIN?"
"I set a card. Turn END!"
"My turn! Draw! I'm goin' all out too! I summon Tamabot, and I activate the Magic Card, Machine Duplication Technique! Because of this, I Special Summon two monsters from my Deck with the same name as my Machine-Type monster with 500 or less ATK! I release two of 'em, and Advance Summon! Jointech Spike Centipede!" (Level 7 EARTH Machine/Effect ATK 2400 DEF 1600)
"Ho? It and Sky Dragon's ATK are equal?"
"I release my final Tamabot to Advance Summon Elephound!" (Level 5 EARTH Machine/Normal ATK 1700 DEF 500)
"Level 5?"
"Yup! I return the Level 5 Elephound to my hand to activate Spike Centipede's effect, destroying one monster on your field! Burn rubber till ya explode, Sky Dragon!"
Sky Dragon ate fireball.
"I set one card! Jointech Spike Centipede attacks Mecha Falcon!"
"Ghh!" (Yuro LP 4000 ↓ 3500)
Yuro spun out, allowing Yuhi to take the lead on his hoverboard.
"I'm not out of the race yet! Riding Draw! I summon Harpie Lady and Saint Bird! Both make a pit stop! A Goha President's Advaaance Summon!"
Yuro's a seasoned racer. Do not imitate. Do not stand on a moving vehicle.
"I am a falcon! A falcon of Duels! Blowing past it all with the pride of the wind! Air Formula Eagle!" (Level 7 WIND Winged Beast/Effect ATK 2300 DEF 1800)
"2300 ATK? But Spike Centipede's ATK is higher!"
"Have you forgotten about Rising Air Current?" (ATK 2300 ↑ ATK 2800, DEF 1800 ↓ DEF 1400)
"Uahh!"
"Next, if I have three or more WIND-Attribute monsters in my Graveyard, I can activate Air Formula Eagle's effect! Catch-Up Wind! I Special Summon the WIND-Attribute Crow Tengu from my hand and the WIND-Attribute Sky Dragon from my Graveyard!"
"His field's full of 2000+ attackers!"
"Magic Card, Undertune! I send the top three cards of my Deck to the Graveyard, and if I control three WIND-Attribute monsters, I can release one to Special Summon a monster with half the released monster's Level from my Graveyard! I release Sky Dragon to Special Summon Tuning Starling! When Tuning Starling is successfully Special Summoned, I draw a card from my Deck! I activate it! Forward Momentum! Air Formula Eagle speeds up by another 200! Make him course out, Air Formula Eagle! MACH SONIC WIND!" (ATK 2800 ↑ ATK 3000)
"600!" (Yuhi LP 4000 ↓ 3400)
"Go in for a direct attack, Crow Tengu!" (ATK 2350)
"I activate the Trap Card, Rebound Tick Burst! Crow Tengu is destroyed, and any damage I take for the rest of the turn is taken by you instead!"
"As I suspected. You had a Trap to protect yourself."
"Hehe. That's why you released Sky Dragon, huh?"
"Turn end."
"My turn! Draw! I'll show you my top speed! I activate Tamatamagasecondchance, returning the three Tamabots in my Graveyard to my Deck to bring Jointech Spike Centipede back! And the summons keep comin'! I summon Cliptera and Screw Armadillo, releasin' 'em to Advance Summon two Elephounds!"
Once I tear myself away from the tangled web of time
Make a break to the limits
And join together my desperate feelings, I'll go MY WAY
"I forgot Rising Air Current's effect earlier, but you didn't forget Spike Centipede's, right? I return one Elephound to my hand, and destroy Air Formula Eagle!"
With your passion boiling red
Once you pass the monochromatic scenery
Overtake it going full speed, nonstop
"Trap Card, open! Clear Mind! I'm sending my Level 7 Air Formula Eagle and my Level 3 Tuning Starling to the Graveyard! Dreams crystallize to open a new door of evolution! Become the path that lights the way!"
I wanna reach it faster than anyone else
'Cause I got people I have to protect

Yuro reappeared from green rings ahead of Yuhi.
And just like a storm, get rid of all in your way, so at full throttle
