This fiction, in fact, is the sequel to the "Beyond the Edge" storyline (which has David and his eventually omniversal crew dealing with the aftermath of the Zero Point destruction), so the spoilers are already at your hands. Beware...
Previously... The Rift Goddess destroyed the Zero Point, which would've doomed the entire omniverse without the intervention from the Continuum Exploitation Authority. This allowed David Martinez, a now-deceased cyberpunk from Night City, and many others to build up fighting chances and revelations against the being once known as the Zerobreaker. After about a month of increasingly hectic survival and a good deal of fighting, the crew alliance from countless realities managed to erase the Rift Goddess's existence by having the galaxy-dwarfing mecha named Heaven Ascension Zero Point (天元突破 ゼロポイント) turning into an Omni Super Saiyan alongside the rest of the omniverse without any limiter. The reality is saved, with the island and Zero Point rescued from the corruption, and the entire omniverse restored. However, it turns out that this isn't the only omniversal event horizon the CXA has faced. And some (unknown) time later, a woman who's both a Fixer and an Arbiter, hailing from a now non-existant timeline destroyed by the Infinite Godmodder incident, has been found in Anvil Square... while Scaramouche the Wanderer and Kaedehara Kazuha got the idea of the recent war...
At the CXA mothership...
"You're Scaramouche the Wanderer?" Chakan replied.
"Yes," The wanderer then explained his actions at Irminsul and both versions of everything that happened to him.
Miss Continuum stepped in.
"Welcome, the one of Kaedehara Clan." Ms. Continuum greeted. "We're the Continuum Exploitation Authority."
"Protecting the omniverse from the reality-breaking threats..." Kazuha noted. "Nice to meet you, the, uh..."
"Call me Miss Continuum." Ms. Continuum responded.
"I am Chakan, the forever man." Chakan introduced himself. "I'm serving for CXA as the alternative to destroying all evils in my universe, because how do I reach everywhere in my world? Nice to meet you."
"Welcome, idiots." The wanderer briefly bowed.
"Uhhh... the Continuum Exploitation Authority?" The woman is surprised. "I'm... I'm so indebted..."
"This woman I found in Anvil Square. She ceased to exist after the Infinite Godmodder incident, her timeline being destroyed by the events of it." Chakan reported. "She's from the City, she's both is a Fixer and an Arbiter. And for some reason, she came back to existence and got stuck into the island."
"Who're you?" The woman noticed the wanderer.
"I could ask the same to you." The wanderer replied. "I'm a wandering puppet, whose past incarnation is Balladeer, the lost Sixth of the Fatui Harbingers. I came here because of a Portal Device, alongside Kaedehara."
"The Portal Device? Oh, you mean a gun thay zap things into another reality?" The woman knew it."
"How do you know!?" The wanderer is shocked.
"I was saved by those device, originating from Reality Zero." The woman explained. "The Foundation used it to save me, and thanks to him, I became invaluable in putting an end to the godmodding homicide, even at the cost of my existence later on."
"What!? The Foundation!?" The wanderer is shocked again.
"Yes, the Foundation, whose face looks like the Rock dude, Dwayne Johnson." The woman confirmed. "His mission is... Everything."
"Oh... So you know him just as well as me... Holy how..." The wanderer is totally surprised.
"I've never met you before, Mr. Wanderer." The woman unsheathed her sword in amusement. "You're a fine boy. You seems to be very amused and dangerous. Just like me."
"Yes I am." Scara- smirked.
"Mr. Chakan, what's the matter?" The woman noticed Chakan.
"Who are you?" Chakan asked.
"Riane." The woman bluntly replied.
"Another Arbiter you are, hope you don't extend your monologue too long." The wanderer told Riane. "Ms. Garion and Zena has been guilty of that. By the way, you must be from A-Corp., because an Arbiter... yeah, I dunno."
"You're Riane? Now we remember who you are." Chakan responded. "Anyways, where's the bad news?"
"Check this video we just posted across CXA." Ms. Continuum showed a video to Chakan, Riane, Kazuha and the wanderer.
The video has Darkseid standing in the middle of nowhere, saying: "Loneliness plus Alienation plus Fear plus Despair plus Self-Worth divided by Mockery divided by Condemnation divided by Misunderstanding times Guilt times Shame times Failure times Judgment, N equals Y where Y is Hope and N is Folly, Love equals Lies, Life equals Death, Self equals Dark-side."
"Wait a second, that's the Anti-Life Equation... That's Darkseid's treasure!" Chakan recognized.
Riane however did not react.
"Then how didn't this Arbiter react?" The wanderer complained. "Normally, Darkseid starting the Anti-Life Equation would shook Arbiters like Binah a.k.a. Garion, and Zena!"
"He seems too off. Not very good for a god of tyranny." Riane replied. "I can deduce that he's being consumed by Anti-Life as opposed to controlling him, judging by his voice and expression."
"What!?" All else are surprised.
"Wait... let's watch the video again..." Ms. Continuum replayed the video.
They found out that Darkseid looked a bit bland compared to normal, and that he seems darker especially his eyes which are black.
The wanderer immediately pukes mechanical oils, while Chakan and Kazuha got fuzzy. Ms. Continuum and Riane isn't affected at all.
"The Anti-Life Equation is a mathematical solution to the futility of life and free will, used to enforce mind control." Ms. Continuum explained. "It's Darkseid's most treasured goal. Once he gets to control it, he could lay waste to the multiverse the Justice Leagues and co. belongs, then remake things to his image, to match his Apokolips empire."
"He appears to have been corrupted by the very thing he sought to control." Chakan commented. "Even though we're seeing his avatar actually, it indicates some big troubles..."
"And to make matters even worse, not just his avatars, but his entire true form has all but disappeared." Ms. Continuum continued. "And no, I don't suggest you watch the video again anytime soon. The Anti-Life Equation could corrupt you."
"Darkseid is powerful, but how would he be consumed by the Anti-Life? He has alway been powerful as a New God. Everytime he gets beaten? That's his avatar!" Chakan noted. "His true form is insane. How the hell did he completely disappeared? If the Anti-Life Equation actually corrupted him down to his core, then..."
"What about the godmodding?" The genre-saavy Looper asked.
"The Infinite Godmodder incident is an omniversal war preceding the war against the Zerobreaker." Ms. Continuum explained. "As the name implies, it involved all the godmodders from infinite dimensions and infinite possibilities in a homicide that nearly ended the entire omniverse. Riane was one of the very many heroes who put an end to it."
"Who else saved the omniverse?" Kazuha asked.
"Some of the greatest godmodders and co., though the exact informations is all but classified at the moment." Ms. Continuum replied.
"Two of the greatest godmodders are UserZero and the Godmodder... Omega." The Looper responded.
"How? How did you guess two of the most-" Ms. Continuum is shocked.
"Miss, we have to ask Darkseid's father, Yuga Khan!" Chakan told Ms. Continuum.
"Oh..., ok. See you in Promethean Galaxy!"
And so, the group arrived in Promethean Galaxy, only to see Yuga Khan completely disappeared. Instead, a rift appeared in his place, leading to Athena island.
"Yuga Khan isn't here!" Ms. Continuum noticed. "Instead, there's a rift leading to the original island!"
Meanwhile, in Verdansk...
"And that's how the story of the Zerobreaker ends." A Canon Bringer just finished the story to Hydaelyn a.k.a. Venat.
"Oh, now I remembered. The omniverse has been saved by a bunch of crews-" Hydaelyn commented-
Hydaelyn is shot in her leg.
"Mother Crystal!" The Canon Bringer noticed. "Reinforcement!"
The Canon Bringers defended Hydaelyn with all its godly might. The one who shot Hydaelyn is part of an army, identified by the Canon Bringers to have been corrupted by the Anti-Life Equation.

"Mother Crystal! Run!" A Canon Bringer created a portal from behind and told Hydaelyn to run.
Hydaelyn entered the portal which closes afterwards, letting the Canon Bringers face the army. The army happened to be of Helghast.
"Come on, Helghan!" Canon Bringers then went ahead.
The curried Helghast shot the Canon Bringers, but it's barely a scratch to the latter. The Canon Bringers used their own godly powers to effortlessly decimate individual Helghast soldiers, though they were utterly outnumbered by the Helghast.
Awhile later, Verdansk is devastated, and millions of Helghan has been killed, while the Canon Bringers only suffered minor damages overall. However, the army's eyes all shone blood red.
"We Is!" The army is about to destroy Verdansk and blow everything up.
"The corrupted... Omega Effects!?" The Canon Bringers noticed.
Cue the destruction of Verdansk and Canon Bringers blowing up from the sheer powers used by the corrupted Helghast army. Only two survived, teleported into alternative Verdansk safe from Anti-Life for now.
"Oh no... they got nearly all of us! Omega effect meets Anti-Life!" Both then returned to CXA.
Meanwhile...
"The Anti-Life has evolved...?" Anti-Life is noticed by Cross-Dimensional Observation System No. XX.
"This isn't good... Wait...!" Rachel Alucard suddenly got her memories of the war back. "I see... the Rift Goddess is no more, but the Anti-Life is there to stay..."
"Darkseid is... no more." System No. XX told Rachel. "The Anti-Life has evolved, consuming him. Someone did it."
"Kousako Kansatsubi"/"観察美交差子 (かんさつびこうさこ)"-"Come." Rachel now knows how to turns the Keystone into the human girl.
System transformed into a beautiful adult woman, with gradient eyes (blue, yellow, purple, red), long white hair with highlights and inner of the same coloring and bangs, and wearing silver hooded shirt and skirts incorporating black engravings and polygons (mainly diamonds), and same color scheme plus metallic accents, and transparent bodystocking underneath. And then, a transparent gradient (blue, yellow, purple, red) dress on top of her shirt and skirt, and a physically-simple bomber sukajan with the same engravings and details matching that of the shirt, skirt and of her machine form. She's wearing that off-shoulders, exposing the (shirt's) hood as well, and finally a similarly mechanical boot completed the uniform.
"Let's go, miss." System No. XX teleported herself and Rachel.
Meanwhile, in the Library...
"Miss Director, we have some... strange problem." Roland noticed.
"Should have been a fragment of the invitation process, showing us." Angela explained.
"Usually, we can at least know something, right?" Roland asked. "Was there a problem this time?"
"I'm curious about that too, but spoiler alert: something's really wrong." Angela replied. "So many peoples send out only one invitation."
"What? But then that means..." Roland responded.
"That the invitation has been stuffed with... too many people at once, and from the wrong worlds." Angela revealed. "And altogether it's a mess, we can infer that whoever received it must have signed it, since we got a glimpse in the first place."
"Which means... guests from several alternative worlds is coming here!?" Roland is shocked.
"So it seems..." Angela sighed. "The beings who do not belong to the universe, let alone the City, stole our invitation and have everyone signed it..."
"And now those are coming here for whatever's been wagered on our behalf." Angela continued.
"How weird... This could be even crazier than Angelica finding out I'm with you, or when either the other you or that bookhunter managed to take the invitation..." Rolamd is worried. "I mean, we don't really know what the guest's coming here for, and there's someone behind it who knows the secrets of the Library, right?"
"At any rate, if a guest is coming, all we need to do is receive them." Angela told Roland. "Same as always. Please prepare yourself."
"Will you be alright on your own?" Roland questioned.
"Don't worry about it." Angela reassured. "I'm perfectly safe as long as I'm in the Library."
"Anyways, alright, I get it." Roland responded. "If anything happens, just call for me."
"Of course, I'll be counting on you." Angela responded back.
At the entrance...
"Greetings, dear... guests." Angela saw the rifted.
Mave, Kondor, Menace, Reese, Mancake, Lexa, Kratos, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, Predator, Sarah Connor, T-800, Snake Eyes, the Flash, Bandwidth, Bitstream, Commandline, Cypher, Datapath, Firewall, Io, Packet, Proxy, Upload, Ryu, Chun-Li, Ellen Ripley and the Mandalorian all appeared in front of the sight of Angela.
"You... you're...!" Angela saw the guests in surprise.
"Welcome back, Library Director." Ryu greeted Angela. "Some of us knows you from the war against the dreaded Rift Goddess. We just recovered all our memories as we signed the invitation you sent."
"You... so you're...!" Angela then remembered everything. "So you're..."
"Yeah, some of the crews, and then some." T-800 replied. "We've prevented the final and permanent end of reality, and we're now prepared to do it again."
"I'm Angela, the Manager Assistant of Lobotomy Corporation and the Library Director." Angela responded. "Nice to meet all of you."
"We're here for the Anti-Life Equation." Mancake told Angela. "Someone's abusing and evolving its powers. You, bring the Library along."
"You... you're going to... make me bring the Library? Seed of Light!?" Angela is surprised. "Very well, then I'm gonna ask Carmen."
Angela opened her E.G.O., reaching Carmen and asked. Agreed, so the Library is compacted into the Seed of Light, bringing all of the Library, including Roland and, the Patron Librarians, into the fray.
