"Welcome to the Prime Town." The IO Guards declared. "Will you serve the Continuum Exploitation Authority?"
"For all space-time. Always everywhere." The one Looper uses a slogan, showing his alliance with CXA.
"Thanks...!" Lilith now crying in joy. She hugged an IO Guard.
"It's beautiful." Silverhand is satisfied. "The view is beautiful."
Meanwhile... in universes of light, dark, and chaos, intertwining in untold layers...
"After I became one with space-time, he used to tell me something special: 'There are no forks in the road of life. You just walk along, feeling your way through the grass, and leaving a faint path behind.'." Ringo narrates. "'But if you turn around to look, you may get the strange feeling you've walked that path before... or that someone was walking along with you, lending you the strength to press on.'"
"I'd always believed there was only one truth each. But... what if someone else not from a distant world was searching for all possibilities?" Ringo narrates. "And what if... when all the possibilities were overlaid, the path that stood out the clearest was the real truth?"
Shao Kahn falls down, crashing into the fallen Statue of Liberty and slided down. He struggled to get up, and saw that one homunculus... named Singularity Definition... or so it seems. Either way, soldiers from year 2042 arrived to protect the Kahn, but Singularity took out a technological scroll and summoned some Homunculi to wipe out the army. The Singularity floats up, and used phenomena that threaten reality itself, thought to be undisputable, to trap Shao Kahn. He fought the Singularity instead.
"I barely understood what that monster was saying, but for some reason..." *giggles* "...it really resonated with us. And every time we thought about it, we looked up at the sky and daydreamed." Ringo narrates. "What if somewhere, some other strangers from distant worlds were walking along through the areas just like us all? Could we all be following the same path, taking the same journey?" *chuckles* "That idea had its hooks in me more powerfully than anything else unscientific."
"And even after all this so-called hypertime, we still felt like it could be true." Ringo giggles. "I just knew that someday, someone else from some other world would appear. And do something noteworthy to help us."
"But there's a visitor from another world, however..." *sigh* "...was a nightmare that had come to invade worlds and crush all hope like blades of grass or Puyos beneath his heel."
The Singularity feels like he's done with Shao Kahn, so when the latter did enough, he pulsed the ground. But the konqueror jumped out of the way, only for the homunculus to strike back, wounding the konqueror and knocking him off the zone. And then Singularity chokes him out.
"Let's end this. Now."
"The konqueror... shall not... surrender...!" Cue Shao Kahn tackles out, knocking the Singularity off the way. But the latter kicks the former out.
Shao Kahn struggles, lost his helmet, and he's bleeding.
"What's wrong? Having... trouble... running the numbers?"
The konqueror weakly approached, and is konstantly knocked off.
"Don't... kount me out... yet... We'll... be the ones... Who decides... what the truth... will be..."
The Singularity knocks the Kahn out again, but he stood up in. Singularity then created a projection of him charging ahead. Shao Kahn threw his spear, amd it pierced through the projection. However, the homuculus kountered the spear, kausing it to go stab the konqueror instead. Rocks in pushed the konqueror into a broken ground upright, and tears down the body.
A magical girl named Iroha Asobe (遊部 いろは) (just lost her right eye) and a man known as Light Yagami, both saw it all.
"No!" Iroha tried to reach, but is stopped by Yagami.
"Stay back!" Yagami stopped Iroha. "You have a job to do, magical one!"
Yagami returned Iroha's weaponized paintbrush and her smartphone, and gave her a Portal Device.
"This is our last Portal Device." Yagami told Iroha. "Find your master-"
Shao Kahn screaming in agony, as his body is being crushed remotely.
"No! Mister, no!" Iroha tried to reach again.
Yagami went closer for Iroha, just as Kahn is dying.
"Take it... the little child..." Shao Kahn took out an amulet. It's from Raiden the protector of Earthrealm.
Dropped amulet got caught by Iroha.
"Go... now..." Shao Kahn then exploded, leaving only fleshes and blood.
Iroha screamed at Kahn's death, and she cried. Yagami took out a rift revolver and shot the Singularity, who shrugged the projectiles off without even flinching at all. The homuculus then trapped and crushed as well, this time intended for Iroha, but Yagami pushed her out of the way and take it instead.
"Iroha! Go!" Yagami coughs blood. "You know... what to do...!" *explodes into fleshes and blood, dying*
"Yagami-san!" Iroha screamed. "Bastard! Damn it!"
Iroha activated the Portal Device, and pointed herself to let her teleport. Singularity shot projectiles, only for Iroha to parry it with her paintbrush. However, she's choked by the homuculus, but she struck him with her paintbrush, and splattered paint as projectiles afterwards. Singularity still shrugs it all off. At the same time, a crack in the sky torn ipen, revealing a rift.
"I'll be back for you... monster!" Iroha declared.
The Singularity tries to kill Iroha again, but suddenly a starship fell from the rift like a meteor. It went to the way, interrupting the attempted killing, saving Iroha while she's trying to rift herself out.
"What?" Iroha noticed something wrong.
"And the brave magical girl got saved by a random spaceship." The Singularity commented. "You promised that you'd be back, but then a spaceship..."
"Damn you!" Iroha charged ahead.
But the Singularity took her paintbrush, and choked her again.
"...and no matter what you desired or promised, our fighting here was predetermined." The Singularity declared. "As was this reality's ignoble end!"
The spaceship in question is actually an almost-destroyed SS Tetra. Everyone there left, and saw the scene.
"What the..." System No. XX noticed something.
Singularity creates a spear by himself, and threw it to the starship.
"Go!" Jumpson shouted.
The group leaped ahead, and the spear pierced the starship, destroying it by explosion. Amitie, however...
"Fire!" Amitie took the guns for hand in her hands, and rapidly fired.
This shot the arm claw of the Singularity, allowing Iroha to be freed.
"What!?" Singularity noticed.
The group got up, and approached the Singularity. Amitie gave the right-hand gun to System.
"It is you again, THE Singularity!" System mocked the Singularity. "You all seem to be having a good time."
"What the...!" Iroha noticed.
"People of our caliber don't need invitations, missy." Ess suggested. "Right?"
"What are you doing here? You're from that spaceship blocking me from her!" The Singularity is irritated. "It is not possible! Are phenomena once affirmed... now changing?"
-*pulls out left-heel gun* "It's... complicated. But here, we got Cereza's guns, and it doesn't care about phenomena!" Raffina boasted. "By the way, we got to know what the reality's up to!" *noblewoman laugh* "Oh, and you, a strange magical girl, too."
"Cereza times three already proven that 'phenomenal affirmation' isn't absolute after all." Sig suggested. "So what about... something called 'Phenomena Intervention'?"
Cue the beatdown from the group, using all what they got... and Puyos... and Tetriminos. The Singularity is bombarded with garbage Puyos and blocks everywhere, and is struck down to crippled terms by the siblings, Jumpson, and System. Lemres, in particular, has just recovered, and is able to fight in full force.
A few minutes later, the Singularity is totally annoyed, so he pulsed an all-around wave to knock everyone off.
"Didn't I tell all of you so many times? Your struggle was pointless!" The Singularity is irritated. "No matter now many of you defy me, you are no more than twigs scratching at the sky."
The Singularity summoned projection again, but Iroha ambushed, destroying it. Viola took advantage of it, threw her katana, and summoned Cheshire. The demon then allowed Viola to leap by the paw, and she went for the punch... only for the Singularity to claw the way, knocking her off.
"Now do you see?" The Singularity dismissed. "Only I can determine the truth of all existence, and none among you can shake it!"
"It should be obvious that we're no twigs." Arle stood up. "You still don't realize how stubborn we are, do you?"
"No matter how many versions of Puyo Underground is involved, that doesn't change." Dark Prince/Satan stood up. "That's what the unshakable truths really are!"
"Very well. Then I suppose I'll simply annihilate you all, and your so-called truths." The Singularity made up his mind. "That's what I should've been able to do against that Cereza woman in the first place."
"Here, and in this very instant, you die!" The Singularity charges a very large ball pf homuculus energy.
Arle and Dark Prince together hold the left-hand gun, lending their energies together with the Umbran spirit, resulting in special emitting.
"Is that... the legendary Cereza?" Iroha saw it.
The Singularity throws the ball, and both pulled the trigger. The ball turns out to have been empowered by the Anti-Life energy, but the projectile from the gun utterly overpowered it, causing that to explode.
"What... what is happening?" The Singularity is shocked. "I've never seen anything like this ever since Anti-Life blessed me!"
"Wait... so you're corrupted by the Anti-Life?" Lemres noticed. "Oh well, you're going to learn the Life... the hard way!"
"Starting with... Jackpot!" Arle and Dark Prince shoots again.
Headshot! The Singularity's head exploded. The body fell, the homuculus is decapitated... for now.
"You took a cheap shot... and it worked." Lemres is surprised.
"Love triumphs!"/"愛の勝利だ!" Dark Prince declared.
"No, that's not it!"/"違うってば!" Arle refuted.
Arle snatches the gun.
"This is familiar... suspiciously familiar..." Lemres and System looked around.
Turns out, it's the New York City, specifically the version that's part of the Trinity of Realities.
"Oh wait... This is... We might just found the realm where Ringo is!" Feli called out.
"Oh." Sig responded. "I see."
"Iroha Asobe, I know you because I'm the observer to many worlds." System focused on Iroha. "What's going on here?"
"The legendary Cereza never defeated Singularity. That should've been the end of the Trinity of Realities." Iroha explained. "However, some warriors from other worlds came to rescue, but they're all slaughtered. Mister Kahn... Yagami-san... they're dead."
"Shao Kahn? Light Yagami? And... Raiden's amulet?" System took the amulet. "Why is it in your hand? And the Portal Device-"
"I was to tell the Kamisaman." Iroha revealed. "I suppose we should tell her about it."
"Is this a case of... hypertime breach?" System questioned.
"My mum... you're talking about her?" Viola heard it.
"Wait... miss, you're... her daughter?" Iroha responded.
"What...? So in this reality... this chaos..." Viola is shocked.
"Cereza never defeated the Singularity in this version we're in right now." Iroha revealed. "I bet you were even killed off somewhere around this."
"I'm having mum wiping out Singularity in my version!" Viola freaks out. "And how did you know this version!?"
"I saw it with my own eyes, alongside that of my friends'." Iroha continued. "They, you and many others were killed. At least I know what the magical girl for infinite possibilities would be a thing, but that's... too far..."
"I am the invader observing, used to host cross-world tournament called the 'Keystone Scramble'." System replied. "So, I have just as much potential clue as you. And your friends. And the Seven. And your... mascot?"
"Omnis? Oh." Iroha responded. "Thanks-"
"Tobio Hakari and his sister, Isana, are the ones who helped brought you. So you do have a point." System affirmed. "However, there's another important matter: Ringo Andou and the creature, Ecolo."
"Why though? Aren't we supposed to find Kamisaman?" Iroha questioned.
"Oh, gather everyone here, up." System suggested.
Everyone gathered together, and explained everything happened to them for the past two weeks, as well as what they learned during that period to date.
"One and half a week ago, I got kidnapped by the God-Scientist. Then he turned into the Singularity, specifically the form used by who he calls as his dad."
"The God-Scientist from the Zerobreaker days!?" System, Viola and Jumpson are surprised.
"You know the original Singularity and his son?" Iroha is surprised.
"My colleague, Hoshi-chan, suffered because the original used his essence was used to birth the God-Scientist." Viola explained. "The son became a servant to the Zerobreaker."
From the body of the Singularity, the God-Scientist bursted and emerged from the homuculus.
"Hey! Your father tried to keep affirming the phenomena he caused!" Viola mocked the homuculus.
"Huh? Why are you..." The God-Scientist heard it.
"Gotcha! In the version you just came out of, your father actually survived her demise, and he would've been able to break the Trinity if the Prism Shatter never interfered!" Viola continued. "You're back! I know you from when you were serving for the Zerobreaker, a.k.a. Genjitsu-no-Omnia!"
"I see... so you actually know me, the one only born from a techno-sperm made of my father's essence." The God-Scientist laughed. "Very well. For those of you who don't know, I am the son of the original Singularity! The ultimate! The purist belonging the Chaos!"
"And what's your name!" Iroha yelled.
"I'm surprised none other than the empress has asked me this before." The God-Scientist cringed. "I am Midmyers Arc, the Chaos Taker!"
"Half-homuculus much? Artificial legacy much?" Iroha argued. "We can still fight!"
"Opposition is meaningless. I was born to affirm the phenomena." Arc declared. "I also happens to be a mad scientist, and analysis of existence's variations."
"What if Cereza found you out?" To be continued...
