With the past Dark Prince pressured into going all out, Ringo in particular can barely keep up with the increased drop speed, and she got defeated because she misdropped over a fatal point that would otherwise had saved her. And then so, the pile of Garbage Puyos even injured the past highschooler.

"Ow... that hurts..." Past Ringo moaned. "Ugh... you're so..."

"You win." Dark Prince applauded his past self.

"Uh... Very weird." Past Dark Prince facepalmed. "No hard feeling for you, but..."

Dark Prince takes out the Portal Device used to wipe the memories. "Are you the one?"

"No." Past Dark Prince denied. "I have no idea."

"Very well." Dark Prince fired the device into his past self.

No significant anomaly was found to be connected to the past man, not even in appropriate point of time at all, other than Ecolo's manipulation right then.

"Nothing new. I'm afraid you are not fit for a paradox we're investigating." Dark Prince shaked his head in denial. "You're not the one. Ecolo is."

"What!?" The past selves are shocked.

Dark Prince brought Lilith, who healed past Ringo. Both used the device to wipe those excess memories.

"Goodbye. You can have a rematch that wasn't a rematch." Lilith left.

"This time, fight normally. Puyo battle for real!" Dark Prince left.

"Well, what?" Past Ringo is confused.

"Yeah, dunno how." Past Dark Prince can't remember. "Anyways... for real..."

"Let's!" "Puyo battle!" Cue the actual battle.

"Status report." Dark Prince reported. "No anomaly found in my past self was connected to the correct version of the 'He must win' prompt the Fire God suggested."

Dark Prince even plugged the device wirelessly, and showed the proof. Nothing other than the manipulation by Ecolo is even remotely related to the correct matter.

"Which means I'm not the culprit." Dark Prince declared. "We've run out of suspects. There's only one left: Ecolo."

"Which also means... Ecolo must win." Dark Prince revealed.

"Through the process of elimination and invasion, we thereby declare..." Hoshimatsu told everyone. "Ecolo must win!"

"Then let Ecolo possess Ringo!" Dark Prince suggested. "That's the way Fire God Liu Kang intended!"

Yesterday...

"We did it!" The soldiers after saving Shibuya.

"Goodbye, everyone." Possessed Ringo left.

After leaving the battlefield, Possessed Ringo sits down in Athena island. Ecolo manifested out, and sighs.

"By saving your world, it is a technical disaster to me." Ecolo complained. "You're the only one who can remember me, because of your unique mind. I only found out after us reuniting for the first time."

"You see... it's not fun to have your friends murdered by someone from another world, right in front of you." Ecolo told Ringo. "If only you could be faster and more powerful, you could have stopped it. That's the desperation behind our union."

"Don't worry, I'll just keep absorbing the bloody part, ok?" Ecolo hugs Ringo.

"Then should I have... defeated you in the first place..." Ringo cried. "When I got possessed by you, I can feel anything... but everything so far... has been..."

Fire God Liu Kang is hearing from behind, so he talked to Ringo. She revealed what traumatized her, and about whether she should've defeated Ecolo in the first place.

This quickly made an idea for Liu Kang: if Ecolo possess Ringo, both becomes one and get far more powerful.

"Maybe if he first beat her instead, something else finally..." Liu Kang figured it out. "There's something else need to happen earlier. That's it! One must drift the timeline over, much like the case of the Hourglass once known!"

Liu Kang holds the amulet Raiden the Protector once gave him. "He must win."

And so, Liu Kang took the gamble as a bounty, which led to him telling the group about it one day later when asked about Ringo.

Back to the present, and traveling to prior to the penultimate battle... the amulet channeled to Puyo events, rewinding into a montage of the events backwards, all the way to prior to the penultimate battle against Ecolo. Just in time, because the mysterious man in black happens to have another amulet of exactly the same type.

Which leads to a vision channeled into the amulet holder, in which case originally held by the man. However, the Dark Prince took it, and received the vision instead. The impression of every single major Puyo battles following the original penultimate against Ecolo were part of the vision.

"Dark Prince, what's wrong?" Arle asked.

"Strangeky familiar visions that matches our suspicions." Dark Prince replied. "That amulet... flaming from the inside. Must be Liu Kang telling what's really is."

"To the penultimate battle." The man drives toward the point.

"Ecolo must win." Dark Prince told everyone. "Ecolo must win! Someone tell that!"

"Oh! Arle is finally back to normal!" Past Ringo defeated (and freed) Dark Arle. "I think."

"Ouch, ouch, ugh..." Past Arle is hurt.

"Arly, are you alright?" Past Dark Prince reached for.

"Just a bit fuzzy..." Past Arle replied. "But I'm ok now."

"My Arly is back!" Past Dark Prince yay. "Thank the stars!"

"But, hey..." Past Ringo asked past Arle. "What about that little yellow creature? Wasn't it possessed too? Oh wait..."

"Well, Carby is fine." Past Arle revealed. "I suppose he was just enjoying acting dark 'evil sorceress' with me being possessed."

Past Ecolo emerged. "Whoa! That went out of hand!"

"Huh!?" Past Ringo is caught off guard. "Is that what it really looked like!?"

"Hey, Ringo."/"りんごちゃん" Past Ecolo called past Ringo. "I want to possess you next, 'cause you send way more fun than Arle!"

"Argh!" Past Ringo freaks out.

Past Ringo is suddenly transported into the so-called Black Space.

"What's this place!?" Past Ringo is ridiculed.

"Okay now, Ringo!" Past Ecolo exclaimed. "Just come here... Just hand me your body!"

"'Cause I've been going so hard on your world too!" Past Ecolo continued. "I was gonna bury it in Puyos for you guys, all nice and squishy!"

"Are you out of your mind!?" Past Ringo complained. "Nobody asked for that!"

"I have seen so many worlds throughout my travel... and out of them all, that planet Earth you are born from..." Past Ecolo told past Ringo. "...is utterly complete and total disaster! Even the said planet is screaming already, y'know!"

"And that's why I thought... why not bury the planet in those rainbow jellies?" Past Ecolo suggested. "Who knows? It might make things better! It might soften everything up! Human's hearts, nature and the world might just become a friendlier place! Just maybe."

"T-That... was why you did it?" Past Ringo heard it.

"But guess I overdid it, huh?" Past Ecolo replied. "Maybe I should have gone a different way?"

-*awkward silence*

"Psychie! Actually..." Past Ecolo blows his words. "I just did this... to annoy you all!"

"Son of a digit!!!" Past Ringo is pissed off.

"Alright! Let's play!" Past Ecolo exclaimed. "Here comes the grand finale!"

"He must win!" Modern Sonic interfered. "I can't believe I got stamped into a different game!"

"Oh no! Intruder!" Past Ecolo freaks out. "We were about to start a Puyo battle, and you interfered!"

"I'm Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest animal ever!" Modern Sonic boasted.

"Wow! That's surprising!" Past Ringo noticed. "And kinda unscientific."

"Oh shucks! You've screwed us up!" Past Ecolo complained. "Aw, what a waste! But I guess I will just gotta break this whole space down with you both! That'll produce more than enough energy for me! And then I'm gonna bury all worlds!"

"All universes! The entire multiverse!" Past Ecolo shouted. "And everybody in all of them! You're all gonna drown in Puyo!"

"I dare you!" Modern Sonic persuaded. "You must win! Take this girl's body!"

"What the factor!?" Past Ringo is shocked.

"This is gonna be too much fun!!!" Past Ecolo shouted. "Sit down for now and enjoy the show, Ringo! 'Cuz you know, it's already over for your world!"

"No... No... Nooooo!!!" Past Ringo is horrified.

The space breaks down, infinite warp. Past Ringo panicked, fearing that she would be done for. And even further of all: Because the warp occured earlier than originally was, past Arle and past Amitie has far more difficulty reaching out.

"You... you... you... you..." Past Ringo then enraged. "You... irrational finity!"

"Puyo BATTLE!!!!! You're going down!!!" Past Ringo starts the battle.

In rage, past Ringo tried to finish off fast. Past Ecolo keep the cool, and took energy to his advantage. He chained and transformed to end Ringo. He ultimately succeeded, though it costed him in form of a lot of Garbage Puyos thrown towards each other.

"No... No... No... Waaahhh!!!!!" Past Ringo start crying.

"Ah, I won!" Past Ecolo celebrated. "It's so fun to beat you up! Now, lend me your body!"

Past Ecolo approached the totally defeated girl, ready to possess her. This caused headache unto past Ringo, much like the first time Arle got possessed.

"No... My head! No!"

Dark substance energy engulfed past Ringo, and merged on.

"What an ass pull we're forced to cause." Modern Sonic watching the scene. "Neat."

The result is the magical uniform, white and pink, with stars and ribbons. Very much like by great transformation (だいへんしん) and the present-day version of the possession. The thorn enveloped the outfit, the hair clip changed into Ecolo shape, and her eyes became dull.

So this: Ringo was possessed by Ecolo.

"Was this gambit the good proposed with it? Or was it a trap?" Modern Sonic questioned.

"Oh... The mind is capable of remembering my existence!" Ecolo inside Ringo (for past). "People normally forget me the instant I left their world! Just as I thought, it's more fun than Arle!"

"And even better, Ringo's powers resonates with mine, and because of this... I'm far more powerful now!" Possessed Ringo from the past.

"Wow! Now I know why Ringo and Ecolo get more powerful when the latter doing the former's body!" Modern Sonic is surprised.

"Oh, that hedgehog just watched all of this." Possessed Ringo of the past noticed. "What are you doing?"

"Originally, Ringo defeated Ecolo and undone the damages." Modern Sonic explained. "But now, it's said by a man named Liu Kang that Ecolo must win, so there, we tampered the timeline."

"This is going to be so much fun!" Possessed Ringo giggles. "Thank you for helping me squish the multiverse!" *laugh*

Past selves from the same time point has arrived. And they are horrified at what ended up into.

"Say what?" Possessed Ringo smugged.

"No... Ringo... What have you become..." Past Amitie is horrified. "I just made my outta that space warp thingy, and thus is what awaits me!?"

Possessed Ringo takes the book, and casted an apple out of it. That apple immediately turns into a miniature black hole, demonstrating the utter reality warping powers.

"Everybody... trembling against a highschool girl!?" Past Dark Prince is horrified.

"No... how dare you...!?" Past Draco Centauros is horrified.

"First up, the Puyo battle in Backrooms, and now this..." Past Klug is horrified. "Are our lives gonna end here, right now!?"

"That means... fate itself will end." Past Feli slumps down.

"No... You bockers...!" Past Suketoudara throws a tantrum.

"Even with all our powers back... it combined is no longer ever halfway anymore..." Past Arle kneels down. "Oh no..."/"ばたんきゅー..."

"Bleh, you sure turned into fodders." Possessed Ringo (past) dismissed. "Giving up already? Very downer for you, then."

"I can freely drown every single worlds in Puyos!" Possessed Ringo candidly suggested. "You'll help me do it for fun!" *creepy giggles, followed by a laugh* "With everybody's power, we can do anything! Now, brace yourself for our rude awakening!"

"Guess this is the end of the world and more." Maguro Sasaki (佐々木まぐろ) told Risukuma (りすくませんぱい).

"Ringo... we're so doomed." Risukuma slumps down. "Final experiment... failed."

"Today, I become the god!" Possessed Ringo declared.

"Everyone, go!" Modern Sonic prompted.

Dragonturtle left, carrying the entire group away by the man driving. He bookmarked the timeline to keep track, using Shinra technology.

Meanwhile, in present...

"So we can use warp to bind the threats." Liu Kang discussed. "And save the circle and square gods."

The Seven is eavesdropping the conversation.

"What the hell do they think they're doing?" The Scientist lurking behind.

"Some sort of paradox creation or something to hinder us all." The Paradigm replied. "Are they trying to compromise the Order of?"

"Report to the Order of the Pariah, alright." The Origin left.

"See you." Liu Kang went back to his world.

"Even the Nothing will die!" The rest of the Seven yelled. "Because Anti-Life Is!" *fly away*

"What? Not the Anti-Life..." Stellan noticed. "Could there really be even more going on than just the Shapeless Man?"

In Athena had the Vault opened, the Loopers stepped around the originally vaulted items. Zero Point, completely stable, was also there. However, the shell cracked, so while it's still stable, a starship has appeared. It's the SS Tetra from another timeline, rifted for some reason, and between the vaulted. And afterwards, the Loopers got out, and so did the starship.

The statship fell into grass zone nearby, southeast to Loot Lake and northeast to Neo Tilted, landing upside-down. The rest was identical, until Mecha Team Leader went against the Devourer. The starship is knocked off south by the Devourer, but then when the mech took the Zero Point, it became unstable, and leak energies which somehow rejuvenated thr damaged Tetra. The Tetra is landed to the correct orientation after the battle.

The Scientist back then froze the Zero Point and built the 7 Rift Beacons. Not long afterwards, the door from Tetra opened.

"Where are we?" It's... Tee!? "O?"

"Pi-pi?"/"ビビ?" O!?

The Tetra crew left the SS, seems like the other. They looks the same as the one we're supposed to follow?
