"Phew! I'll have to tell Rukasazo... those ghosts are decommissioned for good." Mirle is relieved.
Suddenly, the group with 7!Possessed Ringo appeared, and dispatching the rest of the Rukasazo police. The Regime ghosts were attacked further, forcing them to flee.
"Uh oh, we're outnumbered!" Regime!Rei flew away with his sister.
The alternative Tetra crew met up with the group, and Mirle came in as well.
"Tee, you can turn that off now." Renegade Ringo told T-King.
"Thanks for showing up so fast, Ringo." T-King thanked.
"Pi-pi-piii!"/"ビビビー!" The alternative O exclaimed.
"Hello, can I please talk?" Mirle went in.
"Who are you?" Renegade Ringo saw Mirle.
"Oh... I'm Mirle. I look like a mix of Arle and Amitie..."/"あ、ミルルです。アルルとアミティのミックスみたい..." Mirle introduced herself. "I am Mirle!"/"わたし、ミルル!"
"What is she doing then?" Marin have no idea.
"Mirle can be a big help to us-" Miss-S explained-
"So you came along on our little field trip..." Count Roquier alongside Possessed Ringo.
"And I'm guessing she didn't arrive alone." Possessed Ringo noted.
7!Possessed Ringo and 7!Altered Amitie approached, and is surprised about Mirle.
"You... oh, I found you!" 7!Possessed Ringo pointed it out.
"Master! Mistress!" Mirle reunited. "About Sig? That sorceress took him. Not-your Sig. That Sig."
"Please calm down for real, or I'll break you down for fun." 7!Possessed Ringo warmed Mirle.
"Then why did you save me from- Ow!" Mirle is stung by 7!Altered Amitie's magic.
"My timeline's Sig's been captured, we gotta bust him out of this algorithm." Possessed Ringo as well.
"To free your Sig, we need to complete our mission." Renegade Ringo suggested.
"Oh, another mission already?" The other I asked.
"Actually, we all go low for now." Count Roquier warned everyone. "You're a target now, and so will we be. And it's too dangerous for us to run free."
"More of them will be here soon." 7!Possessed Ringo warned everyone. "Go. We'll catch up with you."
7!Possessed and 7!Amitie put a hold to Mirle to take care of her.
"Master, Mistress, I'll comply." Mirle agreed.
Meanwhile, in Arle's HQ...
"So you've found them. A special timeline." Regime!Arle about Regime!Witch's discovery.
"We don't." Demonic Sig denied. "We pull them here."
"No risk to an away team... Good." Regime!Arle responded. "Still the same problem though... How do we do it?"
"With this:" Regime!Witch showed a custom space-time antenna. "We're gonna finish the Spacetime Static Stylus. Pull them all back at once."
"We've got some work to do." Regime!Arle responded.
Meanwhile...
"Beautiful, isn't it?"/"美しいですね?" Baroness Atari watching the full moon.
"The moon?" Renegade Klug appeared.
"I'm please you wanted to meet." Baroness Atari replied. "You're ready to join our agency?"
"Business is bad. Greatness is good." Renegade Klug mumbled. "Being hunted is the worst. After so many refusals and counters... why now?"
"They made it insane, personal." Renegade Klug sighed.
Nearby...
"Must have been some party." Daichi noted. "Arle did this?"
"Exposed her homeworld and destroyed Primp Town." Renegade Ringo tracking any magic tracking them. "Made Suzuran an dystopia."
"I still can't believe this Arle lost it this bad." Marin is disappointed. "Even if the so-called Anti-Life were involved in the first place."
"In Arle's mind, she let Rulue become Feli's evil, and then killed them." Renegade Ringo replied.
"I'm not followin'" Shou refuted.
"Somehow Feli corrupted Rulue with a corruption of sorts, so she went insane and became evil..." Renegade Ringo explained. "But that led to Arle's best world-friend be killed in the first place."
"Rulue went all the way evil to kill Mr. Dark Prince, Carbuncle, that sword guy and even tried against Arle." Renegade Ringo continued. "After Rulue slaughtered them, Arle killed her out of self-defense and fear."
"That Arle was vulnerable." Coming from the half-Puyo. "Probably for the first time since Ecolo would first possessed her."
"Her fear won out." Daichi agreed Mipuyo.
"Panotty died trying to explain all that to her." And Renegade Ringo finished clearing the way.
"Alright. Moving on." Shou proceeded.
As the group walks...
"What's with all the security?" Daichi is confused. "I mean, she must have abandoned this place by now."
"Would you take any chances from me?" Renegade Ringo suggested. "I need to crank up the back-up generator. You're with me. You all secure the entrance. It's in the study."
"Great plan, apple girl." Daichi responded. "But... aren't you the hero here and now?"
"Splitting up saves time." Renegade Ringo responded. "And you're best suited to take out the automated, uh, whatever sentries there."
"Alright. Let's get this over with!" Daichi proceeded.
There's an underground lair beneath, where the gang should be. However, all the mooks guarding were... inactive. Daichi and co. are walking around, and get to the big doors.
"Over there." Shou then sneaks in, followed by the rest.
They snuck besides the doors.
"Cold. Like ice spells." So Mipuyo noticed. It's the frostbite on the floor under the doors.
Mipuyo went to the doors, but... *doors blasted, knocked to the opposite wall* the half-Puyo gets squashed. A burst of coldness did it.
"Uh oh." Daichi noticed.
The rest of the gang then entered, and found... a frozen figure made of ice but looks like this Undine, and... a Doomsday.
"Who're you!?" Shou confronted both.
"Undine." This timeline's Undine (ウンディーネ). "Doomsday, get 'em!"
"Finally, Puyo Wars is mine!" Doomsday shouted.
"Doomsday!? What the!?" The co. never saw Doomsday in person before, only saw that monster from some images from the main timeline.
The gang (while Mip. is still splatted) tried to avoid Doomsday, but quickly tried into a stack of Puyo, causing them to pops. This converted into magic that hurt Doomsday, confusing the gang. Puyorin finally got it: the entire gang can now draw powers from their mechs without having to pilot it, that and they can unleash themselves (somehow) by Owamino, able to pop Puyos on their accord.
"Wow, we can pop those beans now?" Daichi noticed.
Daichi, understand what Puyorin just found, took a stack of Puyos and popped against Doomsday. A few chains are enough to hurt Doomsday.
"Puyo hurts Doomsday!" Doomsday is enraged.
"Shou! Marin! Pop those Puyos for our spells, yeah!" Daichi called.
Those mech-powered shits and latent powers finally accessible, Shou and Marin quickly proceed to pop Puyos at well, overwhelming Doomsday with Garbage Puyos. Doomsday were quickly defeated.
"Huh. Looks like we can pop them directly, after all." Shou understood.
Mipuyo got up, emerged in her Puyo form. Undine noticed it all, and is about to start attacking.
"Aw, for the love of a-" Daichi stabilized himself. "Mip! Punch them!"
Mipuyo reacted, punching in human form, knocking Doomsday out and escaped.
"Good luck, miss Puyo!" Daichi shouted. "We got the spells!"
Marin just spurred against Undine, and it's clear that the Puyo pops are doing favor, and she can do things her Dolphin is able to, but on a magical scale. Frozen Undine is caught off guard because of it, forcing her to quickly freeze Marin as a ditch move.
"Goddamn stranger..." Undine is frustrated.
'Shou the Hawk' unfreezes Marin, which Shou free her much to Frozen Undine's ridicules. His newfound Puyo pop then guarded himself against the frozen, leading to...
"That wasn't very nice, crustal-clear snowman." Shou confronts Undine.
Having only just knew how to play Puyo, but Shou himself managed to corner Undine to the X after a while (as he comes to grasp the ruleset). When he defeats her... "Thought that'd be an ordinary tutorial..."
"What'd I miss?" Green-eyed Mipuyo went back to the scene. "Everything cool?"
"Ms. Snowcrystal." Shou tries to call Frozen Undine. "How's Doomsday?"
"Weightless. In orbit." Mipuyo retorted. "Those mysterious spores nearly infected me though."
"Apparently, Doomsday's very... uh, I don't know, but they'll be fine." Renegade Ringo entered. "Let's go. It won't be long before Arle knows we're here."
Meanwhile, somewhere in Arle's base...
"So you need some sort of magical scanner." Baroness Atari in her way talking to Regime!Arle (for some reason). "To help everyone identify these duplicates?"
"Exactly." Regime!Arle confirmed. "This is data from duplicate Demon of Tome of Sealing I'm holding at." *shows the data inside a flash storage*
"Ok, miss." Baroness Atari takes the data flash. "It's still going to take a while."
"You'll figure it out." Regime!Arle told the Baroness. "You always do."
"For now, glad to be your service." Baroness Atari briefly.
"Those duplicates." Regime!Arle realized. "Do you think there are Dark Prince, Schezo, Rulue and Carby where they come from?"
"There was only one for each of them, disregarding the Spacetime Detective Agency clients and potentials." Baroness Atari refuted.
The Baroness holds onto the flash storage, while Regime!Arle leaves. In the meantime...
"What's this underground?" Daichi has no idea.
"Should be..." Marin as the entrance opens. "Interesting."
The group entered the bunker, showing some technologies the resistance has amassed days ago. It was from the Spacetime Detective Agency.
"How did the Agency hide anything from Arle?" Marin questioned. "Looks like she was pretty thorough."
"The walls has technologies to protect and mask itself against the space-time continuum whenever." Renegade Ringo replied. "There's no way she could find what we're here for."
"Sounds environmentally safe..." Shou facepalmed.
"You sure went to a lot of trouble." Daichi bruh. "Between this and the DNA..."
"Neutralizing Arle was not a call I could make alone." So I put the weapon in a vault that only opens by simultaneously sampling magics and DNA from Arle's closest allies.
"The main timeline's surviving counterparts." Mipuyo.
"With Arle's closest friends and rivals either dead or backing her insanity now, and others forced into war, I need that other timeline." Renegade Ringo noted. "The magics and matching DNA."
"We need... the real White Wishing Puyo." Renegade Ringo revealed.
Mipuyo just took the White Wishing Puyo while checking around the storage. Turns out, the real White Wishing Puyo was there.
"That one." Renegade Ringo pointed. "I thought it wasn't real, just a red Puyo painted white, but here we are."
Note: The White Wishing Puyo is originally from the stage play "Puyo Puyo on Stage!", except it's just a Red Puyo painted white by Rulue to try and screw Arle over.
Renegade Ringo then opened a specialized table for the White Wishing Puyo.
"But nobody from that timeline is present." Mipuyo corrected. "Wait... because my spirit, the Puyos, were imprinted with magics and some DNA, maybe I can be an alternative..."
So the definite half-Puyo holds her hands on the White Wishing Puyo. It surprisingly worked, as the white Puyo morphed and turned into a briefcase containing gun set made with the Spacetime Detective techs.
"Wow, it actually worked. Mip' has remotely accumulated magics and remote DNA from Puyo pops after all." Marin is surprised.
"That's it." Renegade Ringo stores with the briefcase and carry it. "Let's move."
Just as the group leaves with the weapon, an earthquake suddenly hit the place. Renegade Ringo is forced to hide the briefcase, while the rest is forced to confront some more. Specifically: Regime!Akuma and Regime!Serilly (セリリー).
"You..." Mipuyo turn eyes red.
"Let your guard down at your Kuma-peril!" Regime!Akuma yelled.
Regime!Akuma knocked both Shou and Marin, prompting Mipuyo to go rescue. Regime!Serilly faces Daichi.
"Our Draco was just as arrogant." Regime!Serilly engaged.
"And probably just as pretty." Daichi stack Puyos.
Having finally know how to play our Puyo battles, Daichi begans to head-on-head with Regime!Serilly. And then a Fever-comeback manages to keep Regime!Serilly flopping in defeat even after her Fever. Turns out Fever aren't too different from Tsu or the original (aside from Fever state) after all.
"And another thing: our Puyos are more fun."
Akuma is doing hybrid fisticuffs against Mipuyo, leading to them spewing Garbage Puyos and flying up to the ceiling and then fall down. Shou and Marin held Regime!Akuma back, and restrained the alternative curator of the library. Daichi briefly went out of control, nearly went monstrous and also punched Regime!Akuma, knockout.
"That's enough, some libraria-bear." Daichi mocked Regime!Akuma. "You're done."
"You presume too much..." Regime!Akuma then sent electricity to Daichi, electrocuting the latter, and due to control shits, also hit Shou and Marin as well, capping the three down.
"Uh oh." Renegade Ringo barely avoided.
"Should've seen that coming." Mipuyo is disappointed.
"Only two of you remains." Regime!Akuma noticed both approaching.
"Yeah, but we're the one to beat." Cue a 2v1 battle, Mipuyo uses Puyo and Renegade Ringo uses Tetris. Regime!Akuma uses Fusion set and starts the battle.
"Mix Chain!"/"ミックスれんさ!" So Regime!Akuma can overwhelm both. "Tetris Plus!!!"/"テトリスプラス!!!" *for clearing 5 lines at once clearing*
It didn't last, because Renegade and Mip are just so much better at Puyo and for Ringo, Tetris. Akuma isn't too experienced at Tetris, let alone such Fusion, and is defeated to the bunch.
The rest of the group got up, and the whole group went to the briefcase. However, as they opened it, they found out that the weapon was heavily damaged, partly from the electricity spreaded, partly through some Fever, and partly through the earthquake.
"Damn..." Renegade Ringo is disappointed.
"Can it be fixed?" Marin asked.
"The magic cap's intact, but the optical resonator is beyond repair." Renegade Ringo replied. "Even with the Agency, we don't have the resources to rebuild it quickly."
