Armored Atari managed to defeat the entire Tetra crew of this timeline, and finally secured some Zero Point Puyos.
"You beat us..." This I whimpers.
"Don't fret." Armored Atari reassured.
"You... just how much you're going to..." Alternative Ex is exhausted.
"You knew exactly what to do with those Puyos." Armored Atari continued. "It's not any of your fault. Puyos are just that."
The crew got up, but couldn't bring themselves into immediate rematch or assault.
"You've outgrown yourselves." Armored Atari told the crew.
Suddenly, Rukasazo police intervened and caught this Atari. "There they are! Over there! Back off, Atari!"
"Easy!" J and L twins tried to convince the police. "She's on our side!"
"Turns out we weren't directly involved." The I waved out.
This left the police confused.
"Take care." Armored Atari told the crew. "Keep an eye out."
"That'll be the least of it." T-King gave Armored Atari the Zero Point Puyos. "With the Zero Point Puyos, you can manipulate reality itself by popping and chaining them. Go get Arle."
Meanwhile, Renegade Amitie is tired of being forced to become a double agent. Ally and Rafisol is attacking the possessed red.
"We just got the thing..." Ally and Rafisol synchronized themselves, with Ally receiving the assault and Rafisol receiving love.
Then they both blasted this Altered Amitie out, leading to the latter falling into a roof and down into Ecolo's leave and Sig. Ally and Rafisol is ambushed by Regime!Akuma, Regime!Yu and Regime!Rei, however. Zero Point Puyos simply warped them out, courtesy of Armored Atari.
"Not-your-Ally! Not-your-Rafisol!" Armored Atari called. "Go help the resistance!"
"Really?" Ally is surprised.
"Oh." Rafisol is surprised.
"Here are the Zero Point Puyos." Armored Atari gave the Zero Point Puyos to both. "I'll handle these! Now go!"
Armored Atari flew, and those regime representatives chased. The armored baroness has to dispatch the library bear and the ghost twins all at once, so she turned around and missiled all three.
Armored Atari lands down to the regime ghost twins.
"Give up this mess, or you're going to be popped out of your existence." Armored Atari warned the three.
"Like Puyo hell!" Regime!Rei refused.
"I'm giving you a chance." Armored Atari offered. "End this without further bloodshed."
"Too late." Regime!Yu tackles the baroness.
The ghost twins struck around the baroness. This pisses Atari off.
"You're done, ghosts." Armored Atari is pissed off. "Over Puyo!"
Armored Atari crushed the regime ghost twins quickly, and left at that. "Like that. Overmatched."
Skeleton-T tackles Armored at the last minute.
"Since when are you with them?" Skeleton-T, empowered by Regime!Arle's dark arts.
"Since the day Arle decided to enslave us." Armored Atari got up.
"She only wants what's best for us." Skeleton-T stops pretending, and drop the tea.
"We aren't her playthings!" Armored Atari argued. "And she's no god!"
The armored baroness pummels the skeleton, but the latter evaded and diverted into a Puyo battle, something that he would struggled, even without concerning on the Zero Point Puyos. Atari defeats him easily.
"No good comes from hero worship." Armored Atari unknowingly mimics Insurgency's Lex Luthor.
With no one else active to stop her, Armored Atari takes a break and "Status?"
"Internal circuitry 60-percents damaged. Accumulated quantum error: 24 percents. Flight mode is off-line."
The ground suddenly rumbles. And then, light came from a blast from the space. Armored Atari noticed it all.
"The ground? The satellite?" Armored Atari.
"Affirmative."
"Casualties?" Armored Atari asked.
"All personnel safely recovered. Arle was in both blasts' zones and radius but is untouched."
"Well then..." Armored Atari responded. "May fortune favor the foolish..."
"Arle Nadja! Your time is over!"
"E-T-A 24 seconds."
Armored Atari aims the anti-Puyo weapon, integrated inside the suit.
"Maximum weapon range: 699 kilometres. Weapon lock in 15 seconds"
"I got it." Armored Atari mumbled.
"Ten seconds." - "Five seconds."
"What?" Regime!Arle thought.
"One second."
And just as the weapon finally locks in...
"System failure. System failure. System fa-" As Regime!Akuma struck Atari with lightning.
Then the suit explodes. All broadcasted across Intral City and Suzuran. Regime!Arle crashed the armor suit to make it explode, leaving the Baroness massively wounded and herself falling apart.
Regime!Arle confronts a dying Atari. "I trusted you. You betrayed me." *grabs Atari's now mangled body* "I gave you unity!"
"Your unity... that was a joke, not genuine..." Baroness Atari mocked Regime!Arle.
Regime!Arle choked this Atari, and used Cataclysm on her neck, blasting it and killing Atari out of rage and spite. "Atari is dead!" *grunts*
Regime!Arle shook off, and heard ramblings about what she has become: "Can you believe that?"-"She crushed her..."-"Why would Arle do that!?"-"In front of Spacetime Detective and Madou?" It was the populace beginning to vocally question and criticize her, over this grisly and gory sight of a friendly sorceress with powerful rivalry killing the best rookie ever in broad daylight...
...which sends Regime!Arle into a rage, flying off and rallying her forces.
In her fortress, the untouched remains of the underground parts of her base...
"The duplicates." Regime!Harpy pointed it out. "They've incited insurrection."
"We must suppress this filth." Regime!Archan suggested.
"Willfulness leads to anarchy." Regime!Akuma commented. "It cannot be allowed to spread."
"I united them. Protected them." Regime! Arle thinking about it. "But are they grateful? Do they appreciate my blessings?"
"No. They whine. Complain. Side with those criminals, terrorists and perpetuators." Regime!Arle continued. "Of they prefer chaos and madness, I'll give it to them."
"Spacetime Detective, Primp world, that Earth, and old Madou." Regime!Arle suggested. "I'll break them all. Set an example. Then I'm going to invade the timelines those duplicates came from. They'll pay for interfering."
"Wait..." Regime!Draco and Regime!Witch pointed. "We're destroying worlds? Invading other timelines!?"
"You have a problem, tea-bone?" Regime!Serilly asked Skeleton-T.
"Well... yeah. It's crazy. And hot. It's going too far." Skeleton-T admitted.
"No worlds should be in self-rule." Regime!Serilly dismissed. "When we're truly done, we'll preserve order."
"No... no... There have to be limits!" Skeleton-T objected. "Even on us! Especially on us!"
"Enough, tea-lover!" Regime!Arle scolded.
"We can't do this. Have you gone nuts!?" Skeleton-T continued. "Have you been mentally poisoned!? Carbuncle would never want-"
Regime!Arle chokes Skeleton-T.
"Tea! Tea! T-"/"お茶ー!お茶ー!おっ" Skeleton-T is frozen by Regime!Arle.
Regime!Arle then burns Skeleton-T with a spell. She then kicks his remains. "Anyone else?"
The forces remained silent, unable to immediately object at all.
"Witch, Draco, Harpy. Take control of all media broadcasts and mental remotes." Regime!Arle commanded. "I want everyone to see this."
"Serilly, Akuma, and the ghosts. You're with me." Regime!Arle continued. "Archan. Prepare your ground forces."
"Sig, Ally, Rafisol. Get Salde ready." Regime!Arle finished.
Everyone went to their assigned works. Except Demonic Sig and so, all three looking at the Skeleton-T pieces.
"Take him outside." Regime!Ally told Regime!Rafisol.
Regime!Rafisol lifts the piece up for burial. Demonic Sig took this time to reminisce and reflect on everything that transpired since Arle's tragedy about a week ago.
"He was right." Demonic Sig concluded. "This isn't what we signed up for."
"We did our job." Regime!Ally rejected. "That's lovely about it."
"That skeleton did not want any of this." Demonic Sig argued. "He wants-
"To get out of this mess forever." Regime!Ally shakes her head. "Lovely sacrifice."
"Lovely!?" Demonic Sig raises his voice in concern and horror. "We let ourselves believe we were making things better. But we're not!"
"As a bookworm, the purple demon sealed off because I was a big demon being pranked, and left out a blue boy because of it, I now knows what good blue and evil red feelings about this as hard as that." Demonic Sig have had it. "I can't do it anymore. I'm done!"
"Now you're loving a death wish!?" Regime!Ally held on Demonic Sig. "Such love is never done!"
"Maybe love's for you." Demonic Sig slaps Regime!Ally, which is hard enough to knock her to the wall (due to demonic traits of his hands). "Goodbye, Ally."/"さよなら、アリィ"
Demonic Sig then tried to escape, but a love field is blocking his way.
"You can't leave. That's hatred!" Regime!Ally responded.
Demonic Sig overpowered the field and entered a door out. Regime!Ally approached the demon.
"Sorry, but don't make me kill you!" Regime!Ally engaged. "With love!"/"愛です!"
"My wrath and my empathy won't leave you alone!" Demonic Sig is pissed off. "A powerful Puyo battle will suffice!"
Demonic Sig has book the powers of Possessed Klug (あやしいクルーク) and Sig at his disposal, fully weaved and linked, combined into the full demon from the Tome of Sealing. He defeats Regime!Ally fairly easily.
"You don't give me a choice, Ally." Demonic Sig dismissed. "Your love didn't count."
"What are you doing!?" Regime!Rafisol found out.
Regime!Rafisol charged towards Demonic Sig, but he used a stack of Puyos and set a chain to stop her on the track, initiating the Puyo battle dynamically. Regime!Rafisol gets better than Regime!Ally, but the demon still defeated her fairly.
"Never was a true conquest and domination... whatever fan was." Demonic Sig shrugs.
Demonic Sig then teleported away, leaving only a message saying: "The demon of Tome of Sealing is out. Chu doesn't even begin to sympathize with Rukasazo anymore, because Arle did evil just to take the legacy of her dearlies. Insurgency for the win, long victorious Insurgency!" and a face of the demon himself (and its real name but obscured).
"Time for a detour."
"Those we gathered here are the ultimates." A commander in behalf of Regime!Archan. "Sone of the best and bravest in existence"
"Yours is a heroic mission. It requires that you transcend your humanity." Regime!Archan declared. "Embody the legacy of Rukasazo the dynasty with: Obedience. Order. Control."
"But those who defy the Highness's commands... They will be executed without qualm or hesitation." Regime!Archan continued.
"Girl loves to hear herself talk." Demonic Sig is sneaking.
"Firing squad, assemble!" Regime!Archan commanded.
The firing squad went to the execution to execute six: Klug (who's mistook to his counterpart), Rozatte, this timeline's Lidelle, a mummy, a zombie and this timeline's Tartar (タルタル).
The firing squad is about to fire, but...
"I don't think so." Demonic Sig floats up. "Hydrangea!"/"ハイドレンジア!"/"Blood Cobalt!"
Note: Sig's final spell in Tetris games is localized as "Cobalt", but Possessed Klug uses "Hydrangea". Sig actually uses "Hydrangea" (same) in Japanese and across every mainline and anniversary games he's playable in up until Tetris all along, but the localization changed that while Possessed Klug retains the spell, which removed the significance of both having the same final spell in Western term. So I altered the "Cobalt" spell to link with Possessed Klug and match the blue with red without destroying the significance of sharing the final spell (for canonical purposes), thus "Blood Cobalt" for Demonic Sig (who is the complete demon) is used.
The demonic overflow stunned the entire army of forces instantly. Demonic Sig teleports to Regime!Archan and a few commanders alongside.
"Now then, random archer." Demonic Sig confronted Regime!Archan. "Enough talk!"
"Yes. Quite enough." Regime!Archan shrugged.
The fellow commanders telekinetically smashes Demonic Sig, and then threw the demon far away. He lands in the remains of the Primp Town. And suddenly...
"Desertion, the Tome of Sealing?" Regime!Archan teleported to him for no apparent reason. "Poor timing, you think?"
"How did you even teleport?" Demonic Sig is confused. "But you're right about it. I should've done it sooner."
"Puyo battle for the sake of old times." Regime!Archan suggested.
"That's better." Demonic Sig engaged. "Fever down!"
Demonic Sig in Puyo Fever battle. Regime!Archan is way better at Puyo than her counterpart (being a commander after all), leading to a fairly difficult right. The demon eventually defeat the archer.
"Hmmm..." Demonic Sig got up. "Can't leave you just lying there..."
Demonic Sig then quickly tied her with a very long rope. He tried it onto an abandoned tank. "Now to warn the resistance." *rescues whoever was to be executed, and then leaves*
Meanwhile...
"Feli, I'm sorry I refused you..." Renegade Lemres, who helped in the shadow, partly embraced the dark magic. "I could've supported your fate changing, be there with you and date... Oh no, what have miss Arle done..."
"Long time no see, comet warlock!" Demonic Sig appeared. "Is that you?"
"In sugar! In flesh!" Renegade Lemres summons dark comets to Demonic Sig.
Demonic Sig shrugs some off, owing to his demonic status. "Where's my old friends? My Amitie and Klug and Ragamuffin?"/"昔の友達はどこ？私のアミティとクルークとラヘーマ?"
"They're off somewhere not being murders." Renegade Lemres excused.
"C'mon, you know what I am and the boy was!" Demonic Sig responded.
"Tome of Sealing and three items?" Renegade then took his diary and turns the pages to about the Tome of Sealing.
Then the comet strikes exploded, briefly knocking and surrounding Demonic Sig and with dark magic. The demon countered with stacks of Puyos, and threw it to Renegade Lemres.
"Gotta think big to be powerful." Renegade Lemres engaged.
This Puyo battle ensued as glorified Sig vs. Lemres. Sig distrusts towards Lemres for suspicions, but Lemres genuinely knows his nature; this battle is the strongest versions of both going full force with Fever.
Eventually, the demon managed to defeat the mage. "That's enough, comet warlock. I'm on your side now."
