The arrow swifted on air and pierced him straight on the center of neck.
Coughing blood he jumped from his throne to the ground.
Muttering animalistic and agonizing growls.
He touched his necklace hoping the stone he treated like a diamond was safe at least.
Two shadowy figures arrived, they were seriously pissed off.
The one on the left said:
"it's over, as quickly as it began"
The one on the right said, hate filling every word:
"King Amidas the lord, that killed my father for not paying what you had in hands"
The left one was saying "Riolios…"
"that made our people going into senseless wars that halfed our brothers and sisters"
"Riolios…" the left one kept saying
"take all the gold your demons gifted you on the other side and see if it really worthy much, you that…
"RIOLIOS!"
"What?" said the so called Riolios now.
"He is dead" the comrade said.
And the shot moved to see the fallen and bloody body of the man that clinged that necklace more than did with his fatal injury.
"We need a traditional burial, or the cultists will consider us traitors." Said the pragmatic left one.
Scene moved to a burial made of gold and silver inside a cave.
Riolios was handling a golden egg that once belonged to the dead king, he was mesmerized by its weight and knew how rich would have made him.
His comrade took it out of his hands and said "No, all this gold is cursed by demons and snakes, let it go rotten to the hades". He tossed it in the tomb.
The doors got closed and the tomb felt in darkness.
But then the lights come again, the whole burial ground is visibly full of webcows, dust and rust.
One figure peeked, the head, partially hidden by the shadows, sported a giant afro bush like hairstyle with white streaks that on the darkness of the place looked like shinning gray.
With each step toward the direction the girl finally revealed herself, she was a giant pale teen with an unusual big brow and forehead, with little scars that gave the impression of it being sewed on her skin.
It was Elsa Frankenstein (for the friends Frankteen), daughter of THAT Frankenstein. No, not the scientist; the Monster; no, not the scientist that was also the monster. The monster the scientist created: Lucifer Frankenstein.
And she was content because she finally reached the mysterious treasure she searched for months.
"Good morning, King Midas!" she said with a curious and satisfied grin on her face.
