It is 1941 and the world is in the throes of war. Stephanie Rogers wants to do her part and join America's armed forces, but the military rejects her because of her small stature. Finally, Stephanie gets her chance when she is accepted into an experimental program that turns her into a supersoldier called Captain America, chosen to fight the rogue science division known as Hydra.

It had been many years since World War II. Stephanie was now in a completely different world. It was more modern and everything was out of place.

She had also met a man named Nick Fury who said that she had been frozen for 70 years.

70 years.

Everything she knew was gone.

She didn't know what else to do or where to go so she decided to work with Fury.

In a gym, she was punching a bag and her last punch broke it off its chain.

Then Fury came in.

"Trouble sleeping?"

"You're here with a mission, sir?"

"I am."

"Trying to get me back in the world?"

"Trying to save it."
