"Welcome everyone to NASCAR Race Hub. I'm Shannon Spake, here with Larry McReynolds and Adam Alexander, and we're here to catch everyone up on the first half of the NASCAR regular season. So guys, who would you say is the best driver so far?" Shannon asked.

"Well Shannon, I believe that Arrby, despite he's 5th in points, is the best driver so far. With 3 wins, the most of all the drivers, Arrby has looked unstoppable. That #24 is almost every week in contention to win, I just don't see how they miss the Championship 4." Adam said.

"I'm sorry Adam, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. I'd say it's Marshall. Only one of 4 drivers to not have a DNF this year and the only driver to finish every race on the lead lap. Marshall has been consistent, he's almost always running in the top 10, and I feel that's why he's the best driver so far." Larry explained. "Shannon, what about you?"

"I'm gonna say Sweetie. I mean she's the points leader. Granted she doesn't have a win yet this season and she's made some mistakes on track, but she's always fast and with her racing style, she's without a doubt a championship threat." Shannon said.

"I actually want to talk more about Sweetie. It seems that almost every race she's in, she has had problems with drivers like Marshall, Ryder, Moby, even her teammate Tracker has had issues with her. She definitely has the speed to win the championship this year, but she can't control what others do on the race track." Larry said.

"Changing the subject, I want to look at the cutoff so far. What does everyone think so far?" Adam said.

"I think that Shade and Rory have done a phenomenal job so far this year in having this nice gap over the cutoff. Same with Claw, he's had some good finishes over the last few races and he's been able to get himself in the top 16. There's 3 drivers though who have really disappointed me. The Cheetah, Tracker, and Tuck who all made the playoffs last year, are in a tough situation and they need to step it up if they want to make the playoffs." Shannon said.

"There's actually one driver who's not on this list who I want to talk about. It's Chase. He missed 6 races and when he came back, he was 130 points below the cutoff, and as we enter the race in Charlotte this Sunday, he's only 63 points out. He's made up over half the points in only 5 races. All the cutoff drivers are gonna have to watch out for the #9 car every week, because he's coming for the top 16 in a hurry." Larry said.

"I think no matter who's on the cutoff, it's gonna be a fun battle when we get to the regular season finale at Daytona." Adam said.

"There's one driver I want to talk about before we end the show. It's the rookie, Coral. She has been impressive for her first Cup Series season. She's 18th in the points and only 15 points out of the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if she can point her way into the top 16 somehow." Shannon said.

"Yeah, she's had some bad luck over the past few races, but I think if things go her way, we'll be seeing that #54 in the playoffs." Larry agreed.

"Like I said, no matter who's on the bubble, we're gonna have a great battle to see who gets in the playoffs." Adam reminded.
