Commentators: Dale, Jeff, Rick, and part timer, Dave Moody.

9 races remain in the regular season and the drivers are going to the newest track on the NASCAR schedule: The Chicago Street Course. A 12 turn track that takes place in the streets of downtown Chicago.

WEDNESDAY (At the Lookout)

Marshall, Everest, and Cinder were chatting with each other.

"So wait. What did Cinder tell you after the race Marshall?" Everest inquired.

"Okay, this is what happened." Marshall said.

LAST SUNDAY (AFTER THE RACE IN NASHVILLE)

"I have something to tell you." Cinder said to Marshall

"What is it?" Her brother asked.

"I wanted to tell you before the race, but I didn't get the chance. I'm gonna drive the #91 again. Next week at the Chicago Street Course. I talked to Skipper and he said I could race again." Cinder told her brother.

Marshall could only smile at the news Cinder just gave to him.

"THAT'S AWESOME!" Marshall yelled as he was jumping up and down! "I can't wait for Chicago! We get to race again together!"

"Calm down Marshall. That's why I came to you. I finished 29th when we raced at COTA. And I was wondering if you would help me." Cinder asked.

PRESENT DAY

"So I'm gonna help Cinder with her racing. I have a simulator which can help her get better." Marshall said.

"That's right. I know I'm better than what I ran at COTA, and I'm gonna prove it." Cinder said.

"You're gonna do great, Cinder. I have faith in you!" Everest happily said.

Two hours had passed and Cinder was feeling more comfortable than ever on the simulator running her fastest laps.

"I think you're ready!" Marshall happily exclaimed.

"Time to walk on the fire side!" Cinder exclaimed with confidence.

(SATURDAY) QUALIFYING

Rick: Welcome everyone to the debut of the Chicago Street Course!

Dale Jr.: The drivers have run many laps on simulation, but now is the real deal. Who is gonna get the fastest lap and win the pole for tomorrow's race?

Qualifying was coming to an end, and everyone was gonna make one more lap.

Dale Jr.: Everyone has one more chance and here comes pretty much every driver!

Rick: Marshall currently has it and he went for another lap- WHAT?! CINDER HAS THE POLE, BUT HERE COME THE TOYOTAS! EVEREST TAKES IT- NO! IT'S MARSHALL TAKING IT! MARSHALL TAKES IT BACK! HE IS ON POLE POSITION, EVEREST IS ON THE FRONT ROW AGAIN, AND CINDER, IS STARTING 3RD! WELL DONE TO THE DALMATIANS IN QUALIFYING!

#91 Radio: Cinder, you qualified 3rd! Awesome job!

"Yes! YES! YES! Where are Marshall and Everest?" Cinder asked.

#91 Radio: You're not gonna believe this, but they are 1-2!

"Wow. This is already a dream come true!" Cinder exclaimed.

STAGES 20/25/55*

Because there were some heavy rain conditions, the restarts were gonna be single file instead of double file, and everyone would start on the rain tires.

.

.

.

At Station 25, everyone was watching Cinder drive on the race track and they were waiting for the green flag to drop. There was pizza and wings for everyone to eat while they watched the race.

"Hey Skipper, do you think Cinder could win this race?" Sadie asked.

"I have nothing but confidence in her." The fire chief replied.

.

.

.

#91 Radio: Just have fun out there Cinder. You are better than you were at COTA.

#11 Radio: Everyone is single file behind. #45 behind you and… green flag!

GREEN FLAG

Rick: We are underway at the Chicago Street Course!

Dale Jr.: Marshall got a good restart, but Everest is on the outside as they go into turn 1!

Jeff: Everest has the inside as they go into turn 2, but Marshall is still hanging on as they go down the long straightaway, and through turn 3, Everest clears Marshall into turn 4!

Rick: Further back, the #20 of Skye has gone around Cinder for 3rd. Not the best start for the Dalmatian twins.

Later that lap, the first dose of chaos would be dished out. Dale Jr.: We got trouble in turn 6! Three cars have gone off! Both Legacy cars and the #6 of Shade.

#43 Radio: Back it up, but be careful.

"Sorry guys. The track is so slippery." Rex said.

LAP 2/100 Leader: Everest

Dale Jr.: Oh! The #11 of Marshall has gone into the tire barriers in turn 2, but he keeps it going. He'll fall down to 12th.

#11 Radio: It's clear, you can drive outta there.

"Sorry guys. It's really wet out here." Marshall said.

Cinder saw Marshall go into the barriers and checked on him.

"Are you okay Marshall?" Cinder thought to her brother.

"I'm fine. Just focus on your race." Marshall thought back.

.

.

.

Everyone groaned as they saw the fire captain's brother hit the tire barrier.

"Aw dang it Marshall." Axel said.

"But Cinder is back up to third now. So it's good." Sadie pointed out.

"It's still early Sadie. There's 98 laps left. Anything can happen." Skipper reminded the Shepherd.

.

.

.

LAP 3/100 Leader: Everest

Dave: OH TROUBLE TURN 6! ROCKY HAS SLAMMED THE TIRE BARRIER AND HIS CAR IS BURIED UNDERNEATH THE BARRIER!

Dale Jr.: He's trying to get it out of there, but he's stuck, and this will put us under the caution flag.

CAUTION

#8 Radio: Be patient Rocky, they'll get you out of the barriers.

"Sorry guys. I just drove into it" The mix replied.

LAP 5/100 Leader: Everest

GREEN FLAG

Dave: We're back under the green flag and Everest is away with the lead with Skye and Cinder following behind.

#20 Radio: #91 behind you. Just focus on yourself.

LAP 9/100 Leader: Everest

Rick: Jeff, the top 3 are running faster than the entire field currently in these rain conditions. But Everest has a comfortable lead over Skye currently.

#20 Radio: You know how to get by Everest, Skye.

Dale Jr.: Oh the #45 missed the corner in turn 6! Skye goes by on the inside! That was a costly mistake for Everest.

#45 Radio: Come on Everest. Get her back!

"I'm sorry guys. I went wide." The husky apologized.

LAP 12/100 Leader: Skye

Dale Jr.: We got a car stuck in the tire barrier in turn 6! It's the #42 car of Moby. He's already been involved in one incident today and it's not getting better for the Portuguese Water Dog!

CAUTION

#42 Radio: Just be patient Moby. They'll get you out of there.

"That's twice already!" Moby said, raising his voice.

#42 Radio: Just calm down and bring the car down the pits for repairs.

LAP 15/100 Leader: Skye

GREEN FLAG

Rick: Back underway and Skye easily keeps the lead over Everest as they dive into turn 1.

Dave: Cinder settles in 3rd and keeps her teammate of Tracker behind in 4th.

#20 Radio: No pressure from behind. Good by seven.

"I can go faster if you want." Skye suggested.

#20 Radio: No, you don't need to. Just keep the car in one piece

LAP 18/100 Leader: Skye

Jeff: Got a car in the wall exiting turn 6! It's Ella, but she keeps it going.

"Hit the wall, something feels broken." Ella said

#12 Radio: We'll check it out.

LAP 20/100 Leader: Skye

#20 Radio: Remember, no caution when the stage ends so keep running your race Skye. Also we'll be pitting in a few laps for slicks.

"Got it." The cockapoo replied.

Rick: Ever since she took the lead from Everest, she has not looked back. Coming out of turn 12, Skye will win stage 1!

LAP 21/100 Leader: Skye

#20 Radio: Green checkered. Whenever you're ready for slicks, make the call.

#45 Radio: Do whatever the #20 does. If she comes in, follow her.

"Will do team." The husky replied.

LAP 22/100 Leader: Skye

Dale Jr.: We got a car in the barrier in turn 6, the #22 of Rubble, but he keeps it going.

"I've got damage. Feels like the splitter." The bulldog said.

#22 Radio: It looks fine from here. Just be careful.

LAP 25/100 Leader: Skye

#20 Radio: Pit this time Skye

#45 Radio: In this lap for slicks. Jeff: Here come the two leaders, and Cinder stays out! She's gonna be the race leader, but she still needs to make her pit stop.

Rick: Meanwhile the #20 stays ahead of the #45 and are back on the track.

.

.

.

"WOOHOO! Let's go girl!" Ashley cheered as she saw Cinder take the lead of the race.

"We gotta remember she's gotta make her pit stop." Dave reminded.

"Right. It's just nice to see her lead a lap." Ashley said.

.

.

.

LAP 26/100 Leader: Cinder

#91 Radio: Pit this lap Cinder. We're ready for you.

Dave: Here comes Cinder. She told them she was ready for slicks and she's away, and now the question is where will she cycle onto the track?

Rick: She comes out behind Skye, but ahead of Everest! Skye retakes the lead, but Cinder is now in the runner up position.

"Good job team. You got me up to second!" Cinder happily exclaimed.

#91 Radio: Our pleasure Cinder.

.

.

.

There were howls all around in Station 25 and they saw their fire captain move up into second place and possibly challenge for the race lead.

"Let's go! P2 for now!" Axel exclaimed.

"Let's go captain!" Sadie cheered.

"I think she's gonna pull this win off!" Ashley predicted.

While everyone was excited about what Cinder could do, Skipper was still remaining calm.

"Just be patient. Anything can happen."

.

.

.

LAP 30/100 Leader: Skye

Dave: Trouble in turn 6! Moby has once again gone into the barriers and buried his car underneath it, and we're under caution for the 3rd time today!

CAUTION

#42 Radio: They'll get you out of there Moby.

"I hate this stupid car." Moby grumbled.

LAP 33/100 Leader: Skye

GREEN FLAG

Rick: Back under the gears we go, and the green flag is back out with Skye getting away well but Everest passes Cinder for 2nd going into turn 1!

Dave: Now into turn 3, Ryder passes Cinder and her teammate Tracker passes her as well! She has gone from 2nd all the way down to 5th on the restart.

LAP 39/100 Leader: Skye

Dale Jr.: We got a car in the wall in turn 11! The #48 of Mayor Humdinger has spun out and has stopped on the track, and that'll put us under caution!

CAUTION

#48 Radio: #11 just wrecked us, are you okay Mayor?

"If I get back to Spots, I'm making sure he doesn't finish this race." The mayor grumbled.

"I just overdrove the corner. Tell Humdinger I'm sorry about that." Marshall said.

#11 Radio: He said you wouldn't finish this race if he gets back to you, so just be careful.

LAP 41/100 Leader: Skye

A few cars actually pitted for fresh tires and it seemed they were betting on more cautions to try and get to the end of the race. And some of the drivers were confused about this call.

#24 Radio: In this lap Arrby.

"Are you sure?" The pirate pup asked.

#31 Radio: Pit this time Leo.

"Alright?" Leo replied in confusion.

#9 Radio: Pit for tires Chase. "Huh? Okay." Chase answered.

#3 Radio: Harold, we're changing the strategy. Come into the pits.

"Does it matter? We're running in the back anyway." Harold grumbled.

LAP 43/100 Leader: Skye

GREEN FLAG

Rick: Green flag is back out and Skye once again gets away well and they dive into turn 1-

Jeff: Tracker has hit the wall! And that's cost him 4th place to Cinder. We'll keep our eyes on him to see if he has damage!

"Ayuda! My right front feels like it's gonna come off on its own!" Tracker said worriedly.

#99 Radio: Finish the stage Tracker. We'll come in after we get the stage points.

LAP 45/100 Leader: Skye

Dale Jr.: We got a car that's going very slow in turns 5 and 6! It's the #48 of Mayor Humdinger and he's parked it and I think that's his day over!

CAUTION

#48 Radio: Turn the car off. That's it.

"All thanks to Spots." The mayor said, frustrated.

#20 Radio: Okay Skye. Good job. That's both stages won, and we'll be pitting next time by."

"You got it, team." Skye replied.

LAP 46/100 Leader: Skye

NASCAR OFFICIALS: WE ARE SHORTENING THE RACE FROM 100 TO 75 LAPS DUE TO RUNNING OUT OF DAYLIGHT

#20 Radio: Okay Skye. Just got the announcement that they are shortening the race to 75 laps.

"WHAT?!" Skye shouted. "The guys who stayed out can now make it to the end! NASCAR just screwed us!"

Everyone who didn't pit on lap 41 came in for tires and everyone who did stayed out putting the #31 of Leo as the race leader.

#31 Radio: Stay out Leo! Stay out! This has just played in our hands. The highest driver who has 4 fresh tires is 12th. I need to run the best laps because you can win this race Leo.

"I will do my best team. You know I always do." The feline replied.

So the running order would be Leo, Harold, Chase, Rubble, and Arrby as the top 5 with Skye, Ryder, and Everest, the first three cars with fresh tires running from 12th to 14th, and Cinder was all the way down in 18th.

LAP 49/75 Leader: Leo

GREEN FLAG

Dave: Green flag is back out and Leo gets away from the pack and it's calm further back as everyone drives into turn 1!

Later on in that lap, the highlight of the race would unfold in front of everyone's eyes.

Dale Jr.: We got a crash in turn 11! Arrby has hit the barriers! Now Zuma gets spun as does the #7 of Alex! MORE CARS ARE PILING IN! IT'S A PARKING LOT AS AT LEAST 10 CARS ARE STUCK!

Dave: It's a traffic jam in turn 11! There's nowhere for anyone to go!

CAUTION

Cars involved: #4, #5, #7, #10, #11, #14, #19, #20 #23, #24, #34, #41, #43, #77

#4 Radio: Zuma, are you fine?

"I'm fine." Zuma said, trying to free his car.

"There's nowhere to go!" Gasket shouted.

"What are we doing?!" Claw yelled.

"This is unbelievable." Liberty said disappointed.

"Can't say I've seen this before." Marshall admitted. It took a while, but everyone was able to get going. Surprisingly, no cars were taken out because of that and they were able to get the race back going.

LAP 51/75 Leader: Leo

GREEN FLAG

Jeff: We're back racing and Leo gets away and the battle for 2nd heats up with Harold and Chase!

#3 Radio: If we let the #9 pass, the win pretty much goes away.

"Yeah shut up!" Harold told this team.

LAP 54/75 Leader: Leo

Jeff: Got a car in the barriers turn 6… and it's Moby again. This is the fourth incident that he's been involved in. I'm surprised he hasn't called it quits yet.

#42 Radio: Get the car fired back up Moby.

No response from Moby.

LAP 55/75 Leader: Leo

Dave: Oh trouble turn 1! Skye has overdrove turn 1 and has hit the barriers! Perhaps the fastest car has now lost this race!

#20 Radio: Back it up Skye, and rejoin the track safely.

"I'm so sorry guys. We had the win and I just lost it." Skye replied.

Rick: Let's look at the cars with fresh tires. Everest is in 5th at the moment, Coral is in 8th, Ryder in 10th, and Cinder in 11th, so does that make Everest the favorite?

Jeff: I think it does, and she's been running the fastest laps and sooner or later she'll be hunting down the leaders.

LAP 58/75 Leader: Leo

Dave: Trouble turn 6! Everest has buried it into the tire wall! She took a wider line and got into the wet part of the track and this absolutely sucks because she was running 4th!

CAUTION

#45 Radio: Wait for help Everest. They'll get you out of there

"I HAD THIS RACE WON! IT WAS WON!" Everest shouted in frustration.

LAP 61/75 Leader: Leo

GREEN FLAG

Dale Jr.: Back underway! Harold is hungry for this win, but Leo leads into turn 1! Further back, Coral is losing spots and has fallen to 9th!

LAP 62/75 Leader: Leo For almost every corner, Harold was all over the bumper of Leo for the race lead, but what happened next was the definition of unbelievable.

Dave: Harold is ready to attack Leo for the lead, as they go into turn 12- HE'S IN THE WALL! THE LEFT FRONT IS TORN UP ON THE #3 MACHINE!

Dale Jr.: HAROLD HUMDINGER HAS CHOKED A POSSIBLE WIN AWAY! IT'S A DOUBLE DNF FOR THE HUMDINGERS!

Jeff: Chase moves into 2nd and Rocky is in 3rd, but they are separated by about a second and a half from each other!

#3 Radio: Take it to the garage. You cost yourself the win Harold.

"AHHHHHHHH! FUUUUUUUCK!" Harold screamed in frustration.

#91 Radio: #3 hit the wall. No caution, you're P5 Cinder.

LAP 64/75 Leader: Leo 12 laps to go, and the #91 was the fastest car on the track, and Cinder had only one goal in her mind: win this race.

#91 Radio: One car at a time Cinder. You're doing great!

LAP 65/75 Leader: Leo

Jeff: She got 4th place last lap, and she's looking to the inside! Nothing Rocky can do and Cinder is up to 3rd!

#91 Radio: You'll get to the #9. Just be patient.

"More worried about Leo." Cinder replied.

LAP 68/75 Leader: Cinder

Dave: Chase has been doing all the defending in the world to hold off Cinder- SHE SENDS IT IN TURN 2! SHE TAKES SECOND PLACE AWAY! NOW ONE CAR SEPARATES HER FROM THE LEAD!

"Nothing I could've done! She's too damn fast!" Chase said, a little mad at himself.

.

.

.

Station 25 was going absolutely wild as they saw Cinder pass Chase for the runner up spot.

"COME ON CINDER!" Axel shouted.

"YOU CAN DO IT GIRL!" Ashley cheered.

"Come on girl!" Skipper hollered.

.

.

.

Dave: LEO DOING ALL THE DEFENDING IN TURN 6! BATTLE FOR THE LEAD NOW AS THEY GO INTO TURN 7!

CAUTION

Dale Jr.: AN AGGRESSIVE MOVE BY CINDER! SHE PASSES LEO- Wait! The caution is out and it's for the #19 of Liberty in the tire barriers and when did the caution come out is the question.

"She has to give me back the position!" Leo said.

#31 Radio: We're on it. Don't worry Leo.

#91 Radio: Let the #31 back by. Caution came out just before you passed him. "Ahhhh!" Cinder groaned. "Copy team." Cinder said as she let Leo back in the lead.

LAP 71/75 Leader: Leo

Rick: 5 laps to go! Leo has to defend for this win! Green flag is back out! And the battle for the win is on!

Dave: Leo gets a nice exit off of turn 1, and into turn 2- CINDER SENDS IT! SHE TAKES THE LEAD! Dale Jr.: BUT LEO SENDS IT BACK ON THE INSIDE IN TURN 3! HE RETAKES THE LEAD, BUT THE #91 CROSSES OVER AND TAKES THE LEAD OUT OF TURN 4!

.

.

.

Station 25 went into a frenzy as they saw their fire captain take the lead of the race.

"OH MY GOD! SHE'S GONNA DO IT!" Dave shouted.

"FINISH THIS RACE CINDER!" Ashley cheered.

"CINDER! CINDER! CINDER!" Everyone was chanting with excitement.

Meanwhile, Skipper was absolutely shaking because he knew the race wasn't over yet, but he was smiling on the inside.

"Come on Cinder." Skipper said, calmly.

.

.

.

LAP 74/75 Leader: Cinder

Dale Jr.: We got a crash in turn 1! Claw and Wheeler crash and the #47 is in the tire barriers and it's not over yet because the caution has come back out!

CAUTION

#47 Radio: Are you okay Wheeler?

"Yeah. The #23 killed me." Wheeler spoke, disappointed.

#91 Radio: Just be aware Cinder. The #31 and the #9 are fighting to get in the playoffs. They will be in desperation mode.

"I got this guys." Cinder said, maintaining focus.

GWC ATTEMPT #1 Leader: Cinder

GREEN FLAG

Rick: Overtime here in the streets of Chicago! Cinder gets away well and leads easily into turn 1!

Dave: She's ahead of Leo by two car lengths with Chase in third, and Ryder in fourth place!

#91 Radio: Five back, all clear. White flag this time by.

Rick: Cinder will take the white flag! One lap to go presented by Credit One Bank!

WHITE FLAG

Dale Jr.: It's not over yet, but she's so close to claiming her first career win.

#91 Radio: #31 seven back. Just bring it home.

Rick: THROUGH TURN 11, SHE HAS BEEN PERFECT ALL DAY IN CHICAGO AND AS SHE COMES OUT OF TURN 12! SHE'LL SEE THE CHECKERED FLAG! CINDER IS A PAW PATROL NASCAR CUP SERIES AND HAS WON THE FIRST STREET COURSE IN NASCAR! HOLY COW! WHAT A MOMENT FOR HER AND PROJECT 91!

#91 Radio: CINDER, YOU ARE A NASCAR WINNER! WHAT A DRIVE!

Cinder was absolutely crying tears of joy over the radio, not believing she just achieved the impossible with her paws over her helmet, barely being able to speak.

"Guys… I don't even know what to say! OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU GUYS!" Cinder shouted with excitement.

#31 Radio: Great effort Leo. P2.

"I'm sorry guys. She was just too fast." Leo said.

#9 Radio: P3 Chase! Great result!

"I wish I could have held her off." Chase said, a little disappointed.

.

.

.

"SHE DID IT! OH MY GOD!" Skipper said.

"We're gonna party all night long!" Sadie said, excited.

"I knew she was gonna do it!" Ashley said, knowing she never had a doubt.

.

.

.

Every single car drove alongside her on the cooldown lap to congratulate her. Cinder

"I'm so happy for you Cinder! I knew you were gonna do it!" Marshall excitedly thought.

"Thank you for believing in me!" Cinder thought back.

Cinder did her burnout in her pink and red Chevrolet, and she did not disappoint for her first burnout burning it down. She took off helmet revealing a smile and tears coming down her face.

Reporter: It's only her 2nd start in NASCAR and she is a Cup Series winner. Cinder, did you imagine yourself winning this race today?

"In all honesty, no I didn't. I just wanted to race here and have fun, and I did. I thought when they shortened the race to 75 laps, I didn't think we would have a chance to win, but my team, Marshall, everyone kept believing in me and I thank all those people for getting me and this #91 Trackhouse Chevrolet the win today, I'm so excited right now!" Cinder spoke as she held back her tears.
