Gemwing2012: Again, it was most interesting to interact with all the characters from the various shows. And I thought it'd best to reintroduce Misterie to any readers who have yet to read Heart, Soul & Mind. And even though he is due to be probably introduced in Season 3 of The Cuphead Show: Dreamstones Edition, it was decided for my OC boyfriend, Validor or Vale to come along for the ride.
Nataliepthatsme: once more space Jam was one of my favorite movies especially seeing looney toon characters interact with other people. Talking and interacting with beloved cartoon characters is something I've dreamed about when I was little especially adding my own characters to the story. I know we can help them on their road to victory!
LexieLuthor98: And it seems help's on the way in the form of Natty's fiancee Andrew and my fiancee Liam! With their combined skills and experience, they're gonna be a great help in our fight against the Monstars. Can't wait to see what happens next!
The group walked behind Darkwing Duck. He leads them to a not so good looking Building. Or to say it better. The building had seen better days.
"Well, here we are!" DW said and stopped in front of the building.
With Alicia being the coach, she opens the door and the Toons and the group walk inside. The interior was a real mess, appearing it hadn't been cleaned, much less used in years. Even the basketball hoops were on the brink of falling apart.
"But guys, look, l haven't played basketball in a long time. My timing's off." explained Alicia.
"Eh, we'll fix your timing." Bugs assured her. "Take a look at our facility!"
"We got hoops!" Darkwing exclaimed as he held onto one of the hoops as it broke as he fell to the ground with his butt while his cape covered his face.
"We've got weights!" Scrooge added as Tom struggled to lift up a weight.
The cat strained until he managed to lift up the weight, only to tip over and one side of the weight fell down the floor and the other end slid down and crushed Tom, sandwiching him.
"We've got balls!" Goofy chimed in as he went up to a locker and opened it, causing a variety of sports balls to tremble out. He yelped as the small avalanche of balls piled up on him.
"You sure do but… this place is a real mess." Lexie pointed out as she and the others looked around the entire place.
"Mess? You're all worried about a little mess?" Daffy scoffed. "There's nothing a little spit shine can't fix. SPIT SHINE!"
"SPIT SHINE!" Slyvester hollered.
Before long, several Toons began to spit all over the floor, much to the disgust of John, the girls and the pets.
"Eww!" Natty exclaimed in disgust.
"That's so unhygienic!" Katie added while Kaichi's ears drooped, looking like he was going to be sick.
As though he had read the girls' minds, SpongeBob came over with a mop and a bucket of soapy water. He set the bucket down and was about to put the mop inside it to clean the floor… only to toss the mop away and dump himself into the bucket instead. His spongy body absorbed the water as he swelled up a bit and he started to mop the entire gym with himself. He literally mopped the whole room from top to bottom… even the ceiling as the place was dripping wet.
"Well, cartoon logic, eh guys?" Alicia shrugged, shaking her head.
"You can say that again." Lexie agreed as Aya hid under her hat to avoid getting wet from the dripping ceiling, occasionally swiping at a few droplets with her paw.
As the wet gym was drying up, Taz came up with some brooms, dustpans and washcloths before he started to spin like a whirlwind and whizzed around the entire place, cleaning and drying the floors and walls, as well as clearing up the place of the trash littering the room.
Scooby yelped as he leapt in Shaggy's arms, narrowly avoiding the still spinning Taz as he whizzed past the duo.
Taz kept spinning around the entire place, cleaning it until it literally shined. Even the basketball hoops were now in perfect condition and suitable to toss the ball through. Once the entire gym was completely clean and refurbished for use, Taz had stopped spinning around and looked around with a manic grin of satisfaction.
"Lemony fresh." Taz snickered.
"The laws of cartoon physics can do such miracles." Katie sighed. "Just wish cleaning up the house would be as fast as that."
"Same!" Lexie laughed.
"Well at least the gym looks better than before. " Alicia said positively pointing at the now shiny gym.
The floor gleamed brightly and you could see yourself in it. One could say you can eat from it. But this wasn't a restaurant.
"Okay, let's do some Training first before we…." John stated before he was suddenly cut off by a strange sound.
The five humans looked around in confusion as the noise started low at first but it started to get louder. Alicia was most especially confused and concerned. Surely it couldn't be thunder since she couldn't see any storm clouds through the windows.
"What is that noise?" Natty asked.
The Toons had a good idea what the rumbling sound could be as Tom and Jerry let out their gasping shriek in terror before Tom snatched up Jerry and hid behind Baloo and Launchpad. Scooby and Shaggy started to tremble in fright as the teen was still holding the Great Dane.
"Jinkies!" Velma Dinkley exclaimed in alarm. "They're coming!"
"How did those dirty cheats even know where to find this place?!" Scrooge demanded.
"Who? Who's coming?" Lexie asked, worried.
Before any of the Toons could answer, the first couple of doors of one of the emergency exits burst open as Nawt leapt in, snarling which alarmed the humans and pets. Just then, from another set of doors slammed open as Pound burst in as he gave out a fierce roar, followed up by Bang and Bupkus as they literally broke down the doors of another emergency exit closest to Alicia's group and the Toons.
"I'm here!" Bupkus growled.
Then, last but not least, Blanko stepped out from the doors far off from Bang and Bupkus and walked into the gym, looking around with a dopey smile, chiming in, "Me, too."
*CLANG!*
Not looking where he was going, Blanko had walked into one of the hoops and banged his face into the glass panel supporting the hoop. The blue Monstar had learned the hard way that there are some downsides to being shockingly tall.
Stumbling back, Blanko clutched his hands over his eyes as he yelped, "That hurt!"
Alicia rolled her eyes at that.
"How dumb can he be?" She muttered. She couldn't take this guy seriously.
Her brother agreed with her as he stated, "Well at least he knows that it hurts him."
Many cartoon characters didn't know or only knows it to late when they get hurt.
When the Monstars noticed the humans, they smirked deviously, seeing they now have some fresh meat. Bang snarled as he and the others approached the humans, trying to be all intimidating.
"Who are these guys?" Katie asked.
"I want to know that too." Alicia asked as well, giving the Monstars a warning with a snarl.
"Uhh, remember those tiny aliens we've been telling ya about?" Cuphead reminded as he and Mugman were hiding behind Lexie's and Natty's and legs as Mugman meekly pointed up at the Monstars with frightened puppy dog eyes.
"Oh…" Katie realized as she and the other humans and their creature companions glanced back at the Monstars.
"You've got to be kidding me." Alicia groaned, giving herself a facepalm.
She didn't think these former tiny aliens would be this big. Human sized, yes. But not Hulk sized.
"Aw jeez…" Natty muttered as Daisy squeaked nervously from inside Natty's pocket.
"They're huge alright." Lexie gulped as Aya was trembling in her arms.
Pound noticed Alicia shaking with her head in annoyance.
"You've heard of the dream team?" He inquired.
Alicia tries not to give him a look. She was annoyed enough.
"Well, we're the mean team, little girls." Pound sneered..
"Pardon me. What did you just call me and my friends?" Alicia asked him, annoyed and slightly angry as she walked towards Pound.
"Excuse you!" Lexie exclaimed, just as angry. "We're NOT little girls! We are GROWN WOMEN!"
Bang didn't know why but as the black haired woman walked up to them, he felt something inside of him. Something weird.
Nawt, being the shortest of his team, had been perched on Blanko's shoulder hopped over onto Pound's as he sneered down at the humans, Toons and pets.
"And we're the Monstars." Nawt explained as he started to spell the name of their team. "M-O-N…Uh."
He stopped while Pound smiled at him before he turned towards Alicia and the others. Pound then grabs a basketball and wants to challenge Alicia
"Let's see what you got, chick!" He jeered and tossed the ball to a more angry looking Alicia.
She held the basketball without falling to the ground. Her eyes darted down at the basketball and her memories from her highschool years came back.
"She is weak!"
"With her on the team we only lose!"
"Why don't you do us a favor and just quit?"
She shakes with her head and tosses the ball back to Pound, turning away from him.
"I don't play basketball anymore." Alicia said simply as John, the Dreamstones and the Toons looked at her in sympathy and concern.
Just then, Bupkus walked up, making 'Woe is me' poses while he mockingly mimicked Alicia in a fake pitiful tone, "'I don't play basketball anymore'!"
The other Monstars then laughed at Alicia spitefully like a bunch of petty bullies, making John and the Dreamstones angry.
"Maybe you're chicken." Bang smirked before he started to move around the gym, making his arms look like wings while mockingly clucking like a chicken.
"Hey! Leave my sister alone!" John snapped.
"And, I say, I resemble that remark!" Leghorn added in, offended.
"Stop it!" Katie demanded. "She has every good reason not wanting to play up against bullies like you!"
"Well, let's show 'em what we can do, boys!" Pound stated before he reached down and grabbed the basketball from the ground.
Pluto runs away in fright and hides behind Mickey and Minnie Mouse as the Monstars start to show off with their new "skills".
"Here ya go, take him!" Pound shouted and tossed the ball to Nawt.
"Fancy footwork!" Nawt beamed as he grabbed the ball and did a couple of dribbles before bouncing it with his elbow. "Can you believe it?!"
Bang catches the ball as Nawt throws it over the Toons' heads, burning Bugs and Roger's ears as well as Darkwing and Sam's hats.
"Gawrsh!" Goofy yelped.
"Waak!" Donald quacked.
"Get out of the way!" Bang yelled before slam dunked the basketball and the glass broke from the hoop before he catched it and tossed it to John.
He could barely catch it because of the speed and the fact that the basketball hit him in the stomach.
"JOHN!" Alicia screamed and ran to her brother lying on the ground groaning in pain.
"Are you okay?!" Natty asked in concern as she, Katie and Lexie hurried over to him as well.
"I'm good, but damn are those morons good!" John moaned in reply as he tried to get up but falls down again.
"Easy, take it slow." Katie soothed as she and Alicia each helped him up gently.
Alicia growls as her eyes turn yellow. She slowly turns into her demon form before she turns towards Pound and the others. The Dreamstones were just as furious as Katie gave out a draconic growl as her pupils dilated into dragon-like slits as she, Lexie and Natty also turned to the Monstars.
"YOU!" Alicia snapped in a growling and slight demonic voice. "You can hurt me, you can hurt the Toons but never hurt my brother or my friends!"
"Yeah! Just because you're bigger than everyone else, doesn't mean y'all get to bully 'em!" Lexie shouted.
"And if you mess with our friends, you have to deal with us!" Natty added in angrily.
Despite his shock at seeing Alicia in her demon form, something inside Bang had been… turned on. She was really cute when she's mad… demon or human.
The same could be said about Pound and Bupkus when they looked over Lexie and Natty with curiosity and interest.
"You guys are making a BIG mistake!" Katie growled.
"You and wussy man are all a bunch of wash-ups… girlies." Bang jeered.
Katie's eyes widened in offense and anger. Even Lexie, Natty and Alicia were just as angry, although Alicia was even more outraged at the fact that those creeps had not only hurt her brother but also called him a wuss.
"'Girlies'?!" Lexie snapped angrily.
"Oh! You did NOT just go THERE!" Natty added in furiously as Katie snarled at the Monstars.
Just then, Kaichi angrily flew out of Katie's pocket, going up to the Monstars.
"They ain't washed-up! Alicia's the best basketball player ever!" The Sprigon snapped, getting up to Bang's face. "You big, ugly jerks DON'T have the slightest idea what she, Kat, Lex and Nat are capable of!"
"Shaddup!" Bang sneered as he callously flicked Kaichi away, throwing him at a wall.
"Kaichi!" Katie cried in horror before she ran over to her Sprigon companion and picked him up in her hands.
"Ow… did I snap an antler?" Kaichi groaned, rubbing his head although both his silver antlers were intact.
"You okay?" Lexie asked in concern as she and Natty hurried over next to Katie.
"Yeah, you okay?" Blanko added as he leaned in between Bang and Bupkus, looking genuinely concerned himself.
"Hey!" Bang and Bupkus growled as they pulled Blanko back and glared at him.
"Oops…" Blanko gulped.
Anger got the upper hand as Alicia growls more and more before she turns into her Wyvern Form overshadowing the Monstars and the Toons.
Surprisingly her head didn't even reach the ceiling. Her tail wraps around John, the girls and the Toons.
She wanted to protect them no matter what.
The Monstars on the other hand were trembling in fear. At least Nawt and Blanko did.
"You made a very bad mistake." Alicia growled.
However she didn't notice that two Toons started to climb up her tail towards her head.
These two toons were Cuphead and Tweety Bird.
"You heard what my friend said!" Cuphead said with his arms crossed.
"Yeah! Bad ol buwllies!" Tweety snapped.
Handing Kaichi to Webby, who backed up next to Gosalyn and Molly Cunningham as they were ushered behind Mickey and his group, Katie slowly stood up and shot the Monstars a furious glare that could scare even a Disney Villain into submission.
"You're… you're gonna wish you hadn't done that!" She snarled. "Bullying me and my friends is one thing, but you do NOT hurt any of our friends! Much less those who are literally smaller than you!"
She transformed into her dragon form, flaring open her feathery wings and roared at the shocked and surprised Monstars.
Alicia agrees with Katie. Messing with their friends is a no go for her.
So she opens her mouth slowly while, blue flames slowly came out of Alicia's dragon mouth, looking very threatening to the monstars.
She didn't want to burn the gym down after the Toons cleaned it but she wanted to show the Monstars that she is not girly.
"You all are not scared of them, are you, Alicia and the Dreamstones?" Tweety asked Alicia as he landed on her dragon nose.
Alicia calms down and the flames extinguish in her mouth before she answers Tweety's question.
She looks from the little bird to the Toons, to her friends, her brother and the Monstars.
"Not even a bit." She spoke,
Before the Monstars could grab the basketball, Natty pulled out her wand and casted a lightning spell while Alicia and Katie zapped them with their lightning breath shocking and burning them. Lexie formed her angelic butterfly-like wings, her eyes glowing yellow and launched a fireball at the Monstars.
Katie then concentrated and unleashed her Ice Fury blast, which harmlessly exploded throughout the gym, freezing the Monstars solid in a massive block of ice. The shocked Monstars blinked cartoonishly from inside their icy cage, taken by surprise by all of this.
"Time to take out the trash!" Alicia exclaimed, wrapping her tail around the frozen Monstars. Her spikes on the end of her tail grab them before she runs through the double door (Even if she was bigger than the door itself) and tosses the aliens far away from the gym.
The Toons watched this from outside the gym. Never had they seen something like this before. Someone stood up for them and faced the Monstars.
"Good riddance to bad rubbish!" Katie scoffed.
"You said it!" Kaichi agreed as he recovered.
"Definitely serves 'em right for pushing people around like that." Lexie agreed.
"Mmhmm!" Natty nodded.
"That was awesome Alicia!" said Cuphead, still sitting on her head.
Alicia looked up to him and smiled knowing that he is safe from those jerks.
She looks to the other Toons and her friends and brother still inside the gym. All of them waited for her. After all she was the coach.
"Let's play some basketball."
All of the toons cheered as John and the Dreamstones smiled.
So, the training for the Ultimate Game begins.
Elsewhere, the Terrible Trio and Henchman were gathered further away from the gym in the darker parts of Toon Town, basically a hangout for the villains and other antagonists of the many cartoon shows.
While the villainous Toons were holed away, gossiping about the arrival of the humans who could help them and the other toons, the Devil and his minions were discussing other matters. Mainly, how the Terrible Trio will be able to get their hands on the objects of their desire.
"So, Boss, what's your plan?" Dice asked.
"Oh, you will see, Dice." said the Devil.
"I hope we can get past these cucarachas soon. I would love to have mi amor in my arms again." Anubis said with a hint of lust in his tone for Natty.
"In time, you will have her once more, as well as Dice having Lexie." The Devil assured them. "But in the meantime, we need to plan very carefully, seeing as they all have powers and abilities to defeat us. Not to mention the numerous toons with them."
"Right, we need to separate them. But how?" Dice scratched his chin while he thought it over.
Just then, the Terrible Trio and Henchman heard a sound outside their meeting place. Like the sound of something crashing and shattering. The noise caught their attention.
"Huh? Wha-?" Henchman uttered in confusion.
"Oh for goodness sake, what is all the racket?!" The Devil asked.
The four looked where the sound was coming from. To their surprise it was the Monstars.
All five looked like they were beaten up by someone. At least, that's what the bruises said the five aliens had on their arms. There were also pieces of ice scattered all around them on the ground, implying they had been frozen solid earlier.
"I gotta say the black haired girl is cute." The green one commented.
The Devil quietly motioned for Dice, Anubis and Henchman to listen in. They all stood at the door, pressing their ears, and listening to the conversation.
"Black haired girl? Don't tell me he means my lovely Alicia…" The Devil muttered. He hoped he meant someone else. Alicia belongs to him and not that muscle-headed lug!
"Not as cute as that blonde with the hat." The purple Monstar stated. "She's quite a fiery personality. And those wings make her look like a real angel."
"Wait, they're talking about my lil darlin' Lexie." Dice muttered. "Who does that imbecile think he is, trying to take my special gal from me?"
"Don't know about any of you but the one with the pink shirt and that headband is really something." The orange Monstar who is obviously the leader smirked. "She's pretty feisty. I kinda like that in a woman."
"He's talking about mi amor." Anubis growled. "It's bad enough some useless cucaracha is after her too."
"Aw jeez…" Henchman squeaked nervously as he noticed how angry his boss was, as well as Dice and Anubis were right now.
The Trio was angry as they heard how three of the Monstars are in love with their mistress.
Of course, the three didn't want that to happen. So, they needed a plan. A good plan indeed.
The Devil then motioned them back to their seats and got them in a huddle.
"Okay, I have an idea, but it involves those fools." The Devil whispered. "They won't be getting our darlings anytime soon."
"What did you have in mind?" Dice asked. "They may be big and strong, but something tells me they ain't stupid."
"Leave that to me." The Devil replied. "I think I can work on something that can make them look like idiots and our girls back in our arms."
In The Legend of Spyro dimension…
In the lush and beautiful valley of Avalar, Misterie was in her old hut in the outskirts of the Wolf Village, the neighboring village to the Cheetah Tribe, working long and hard on a small trinket. Although she still has a home among the Wolves, she just enjoys the full view of the breathtaking landscape of the valley with its green fields dotted with variously colored wildflowers, the silvery rivers, majestic waterfalls and mountains kissing the clear blue sky.
After all the amazing adventures on the Inkwell Isles in the Cuphead universe, Misterie, her loyal Palisman, Aren and the young dragon, Validor have returned to the Dragon Realms.
For a while, Misterie was working on a special trinket that will give Validor a human form so it would be easy for him to visit Katie and her friends without causing a panic. After all, people in the Real World or other fictional worlds which don't have dragons roaming about are not used to such creatures, much less animated characters wandering about in their midst.
Misterie is an anthropomorphic painted wolf with the traditional mottled fur and large ears, but she has forest green eyes. Her outfit consists of a sleeveless, deep pin green halter neck dress that shows off a bit of her back and a slit on each side of the skirt for extra mobility. Underneath the dress are dark brown leggings that stopped just below her knees and around her waist is a brown belt with a small bag over her right hip.
On her left arm is a long, light leaf green sleeve-like handless glove that covers her knuckles. On her right wrist is a silver bracelet with green gemstones. Her feet are bare and has a silver anklet on her right ankle. And around her neck is a necklace made from woven dark brown cords with three glass beads. Two of the beads are silver while the middle bead is green.
She is always seen carrying a beautifully crafted staff with the wood carving a black and white Martial Eagle (Aren, her Pailsman) with dark silver legs and beak, crystal blue eyes and silver wings.
After a few minutes, Misterie pulls back from her desk in satisfaction as she holds up a silver bracelet with a blue gemstone in it. Finally, it was complete.
"There, all…" She suddenly trailed off when she noticed the largest green gemstone in her bracelet suddenly glowing, catching her attention. "Oh! Now what is going on out there?"
Aren sprung to life and perched himself on his mistress' shoulder as she held her bracelet in front of herself and tapped on the central gemstone, visions flickering across it like a television set, revealing various images of tiny aliens invading Toon Town, stealing the talents from the NBA players and transforming into monstrous basketball players, intimidating the Toons. Lastly, she sees the vision of the Cup Brothers and the Toons summoning Alicia, her brother and the Dreamstones into Town Toon to help them.
"It would seem that adventure has a habit of not knowing when to leave Alicia and the girls alone." Misterie commented as Aren screeched in agreement.
"Misterie?" A familiar voice spoke.
Misterie turned to see a young dragon cautiously poking his head through the doorway.
The dragon has a very-built body with dark blueish-black scales, an icy blue underbelly and wings. His crest as well as the spines on the small of his back are also icy blue while the tip of his tail has a silver leaf-shaped spade with four segments in it. He also has ears similar to Katie's dragon form's, only the insides were icy blue. His claws are white as the winter snow, his horns are silver and slightly straight and his eyes a bright teal.
Around his neck is a compass with a silver cover that has a purple gemstone crafted into the shape of a seven-pointed star embedded into it on a light tan leather band. The compass also has a small portrait of his family as well as himself inside it. On his right wrist is a bracelet made from a light tan woven cords and three beads. Two of the beads while the middle one is blue.
This particular dragon is the Ice-Shadow Dragon hybrid, Validor and Katie's boyfriend as well as one of the good friends of the Dreamstones.
"Ah, Validor, your visit couldn't be more perfect." Misterie said. "Please, enter. If it concerns the means of visiting your friends without causing a panic, it is already done."
"Thank you, I appreciate that, Misterie." Validor spoke as he entered the hut and padded towards her. "But… you looked troubled all of a sudden. Is there something wrong?"
"I'm afraid that the Dreamstones and a friend of theirs will be in need of our help as well as Liam and Andrew's." Misterie informed. "Hold out your paw please."
Validor lifted up his left paw and Misterie placed the bracelet on his wrist, the gemstone glittering underneath the ray of sunlight through the window.
"All you need to do is lightly press down on that gemstone and let it do all the rest." Misterie instructed. "Don't worry, you'll be fully clothed when you transform. Have to make sure to tie up some loose ends nice and secure."
"Thank you, Misterie." Validor smiled. "This will be of great help. Katie had been meaning to introduce me to her family at some point and I really want to make a good impression on them."
Before Misterie could say anything else, she looked up to notice she was receiving more visits than she had expected.
"Need some help?"
The door opens once again and two figures entered.
One was an anthropomorphic Timberwolf with black fur, gray fur that went from his chest to the bottom tip of his tail. The rest was covered by his armor and the cloak he wore. Only his legs, arms, toes and hands were not covered. His two middle fingers were white, his ring fingers were gray and his thumbs, index fingers and little fingers were black. The same arrangement applied to his toes.
The head was black except for the cheek. The cheeks and the lower side of the muzzle were white. A curved gray stripe separated the black fur from the black nose. The inner ears were gray. He had a red cut scar on both elbows as well as a skin color scar on his left ear that stretched from the front to the back. On his right eye he had three red claw scars. His eyes were unnaturally black with a red iris and a snake-like slit pupil.
From his knees down to his toes, he had several black bandages tied shut with a gold button and wrapped around his lower legs. His pelvis and most of his upper legs were covered and protected by a plated armor that was black and had a golden edge with several golden rivets that were additionally worked into the armor.
He also wore the armor around his two forearms which were attached with brown hinges. A brown leather belt was connected to the lower armor and to the upper body. Two leather hinges that went crosswise were connected to the rest that disappeared under the brown fur-trimmed cloak. The inside of the cloak was black. Behind his back and hidden by his cloak, a large long wand peeked out, ending in a blue crystal.
The Manticore has a graphite gray coat, white curved horns, a coal black mane that almost resembled coal, a black nose, the ears were white inside, his right eye glowed purple with a slit pupil while his left was blue and blind and a scar ran through it from his left ear to the tip of his nose. The cloak was jet black and covered the rest of his body except for his left hand, both feets and tail.
On the Wolf's shoulder was a phoenix wearing a blue scarf. This just so happens to be Alicia's pet phoenix, Fawkes back in her adventures in the Cuphead Book.
"As a matter of fact, indeed." Misterie replied. "I was curious to know when you and Muru might visit here, Blood?"
"You know each other?" Validor inquired.
"Yes, we're business partners." Muru answered while Blood only nodded.
"What's the problem?" asked Blood.
"Just received some visions of some unexpected events in the Real World." Misterie explained. "They have shown tiny aliens have arrived on Earth and have stolen the talent from the NBA players halfway across the globe."
Blood thought about this as he spoke, "Now that you mention this I have experienced the same thing a couple of days ago."
"Apparently, those little creatures need those stolen talents to transform into monstrous basketball players to challenge the Cup Brothers and the rest of the Toons of Toon Town at a basketball game."
"And apparently, Alicia and your students are involved in it." Blood added.
Fawkes coos in concern about his mistress' well-being as Blood pets him.

Misterie also nodded as she said, "While they true they have her brother along for the ride, I believe Alicia, the Dreamstones and all of those Toons will still need much more help. Which is why I'm going to contact Liam and Andrew to join us near California."
Blood grabbed something out of his pockets attached to his belt as he said, "Well in that case I always have this with me."
It is a small cube Varian built.
"But I don't know if we should open it now." Blood hesitated as he puts the cube back in his pocket.
"Why?" Vaildor asked.
"He told me to use it only for emergencies." explained Blood.
"Worry not, we shall keep a hold on to it should anything happen." Misterie stated as she got up from her chair and walked up to a coat rack and grabbed a brown hooded cloak with a circular silver clasp, putting it on. "I have ways of getting to the Real World. Just need to give Liam and Andrew a call and get them 'up to speed' as the humans would say with the situation."
"I'm sure Andy can easily get Liam over to California as soon as possible." Validor said.
"In the meantime, we should try to blend in as much as possible until we get there." Misterie confirmed.
"Not to worry, I'm a master of disguise." said Muru.
"Don't tell me you use that old cloak again." Blood muttered, rolling his eyes.
As Blood and Muru were… discussing about disguises, Validor looked out through the window of the hut, wondering how his girlfriend and their friends are faring so far in Toon Town and worried about the potential danger they will be facing in the form of these aliens.
He gently ran his talons along the beads on his bracelet, the very one Katie had made specially just for him and gifted him as a symbol of their love.
"Hold on, Katie." He spoke. "I'll be with you again and we can face this threat and defeat it… together.
