Monster World, Castle of Rulers:

After coming all the way back to Earth, Dark Magician Girl had gathered some of her world's best magicians, all of them worked together to open a portal large enough for the entire fleet to slip from space in the human realm to the space above the duel monsters world. All the leaders of the humans were invited to the palace to begin planning on what to do about the goo. The Baddeck was chosen to ferry everyone down to the world's surface. Partially because the cruisers Captain had already been to the planet before, and partially because he was invited to have a seat at the table by the leader of this world.

"Thank you everyone for coming." Dark Magician Girl said. "Now if we can all be seated, we can discuss just how we're going to deal with the darkness on your world. If anyone is wondering why I am able to speak in your native tongue, it is because we have cast a translation spell for convenience of this council."

There were some murmurs of agreement as everyone sat in accordance to their current ranks or their prior status when they were in the human world government. As leader of the Monster World, and host to these talks, Dark Magician Girl sat at the head of the table.

"I welcome everyone to this Dual Worlds Council. The crisis at hand is too much for just one of our worlds to try and handle alone." Dark Magician Girl stated. "Now, I know most of you met me a few months ago, but I really didn't get a chance to learn everyone's names, also with so many new faces, introductions are necessary, please begin." She gestured to her left.

"I am Russian Commander Anastasia Angela." She said.

"I am the Orient Ambassador Chun Zhang." He said.

"I am the United Kingdom's Representative Edith Davies." She said.

"I am Egyptian President Abanoub Aten." He said.

"Australian Prime Minister Noah Williams at your service ma'am." He said.

"I am the People's Representative of South America, Felipè Ruiz, I speak for the many voices of the spanish speaking continent."

"I'm the United States of Americans General Gregory Marcellus, I am both the current leader of the entire fleet and the US Marine Corp." He said, sitting at the opposite end of the table from Dark Magician Girl.

"I am Captain Ka'an Freeman of the Baddeck." I said.

Dark Magician Girl gestured towards me. "I personally asked for Captain Freeman to sit in with us today because he has been here before, and he has shown himself to have a good grasp on that which will be what we hope to save your home." She explained, though she left some thoughts to herself, then she gestured to the many monsters sitting at the table to her right.

"I have asked for a few of my subjects to also sit in with us as well today. This is my teacher of the dark arts and my mentor, the Dark Magician. He and the Spellcaster clan will help with any alchemy and duel training where needed."

A tan skinned man with a purple robe and tall hat sat to her immediate right.

"My good friend, and leader of the Heros, Elemental Hero Neos. The Hero clan will also help with Duel Training if needed."

A very muscled masculine individual covered in what appeared to be a skin tight white bodysuit and a single horn or ornament protruding from his forehead.

"Maiden with Eyes of Blue. She is representing the Blue-Eyes clan, and many of the Dragons clans, since most of them cannot speak."

A fair young maiden with lite delicate skin, white hair and deep blue eyes. Wearing a simple dress with dragon designs on it.

"Freed the Matchless General, he is the leader of the Warriors clan, and is someone that many of you can fully understand and respect. He and his Warrior clan will help with any physical training if needed."

Straight from medieval times, a blonde haired man wearing full body armor only seen in Eastern castles lining the halls.

"Cyberse White Hat, he and the Cyberse clan are going to help with the software part of our joint endeavor."

A man wearing a white duster and cowboy hat with blue accents.

"And that towering mecha is Machine King, leader of the Machine clan and will be helping to build whatever technology we'll need to defeat the darkness."

Standing at two stories tall, all machine, metal grey with red arms and legs.

"We have many more clans, but for the potential danger to the human body, even if it is not intentional, they could not sit in with us." Dark Magician Girl explained.

"Alright, now that the introductions are done, we shall begin discussing what we shall do about the darkness that plagues your world, and possibly soon, our own." She stated.

"As much as we all understand what plagues the Earth, what exactly are you bringing to these talks that will have any sort of impact on the 'darkness', as you call it, that our weapons and technology weren't able to handle?" Ambassador Chun Zhang asked.

"Our power, or rather, the natural and abundant energy here in this realm, is currently unattainable by the darkness on your world. But we do realize that without interference in some way, it will eventually become accustomed to that same energy and then it will explode even faster here than in your world. In fact, as much as we have space and planets and stars similar to your own universe, much of it is made up of the same energy as what is here on this world. So the darkness could literally expand here from one world to another without resistance or restraint." Dark Magician explained.

"So no matter what, whatever we do, it is the definition of last ditch effort and if we should fail.." the Ambassador began.

"We're all dead." Freed finished. "My clan is prepared to help with any training if necessary. Our training grounds will likely be similar to some on Earth."

The Russian Commander was intrigued. "I would like to visit these training grounds after the meeting." She said.

"Ok, but what about the Earth based technology? We don't have much of anything to spare to make a huge undertaking." Edith Davies stated.

"Your fleet ships, minus the huge one, will be what is used to create the device. Along with our own technology which will support each other." Machine King stated flatly.

"Our ships!!?" Noah Williams asked with no small amount of shock, mirrored by every human sitting there. "And just how would you purpose we use our only means of transportation to help you, help us, build an unknown machine!?"

"We will need enough material between both our technologies to make a big enough and strong enough device to handle a planet's worth of the darkness liquid state." Machine King explained. "The device will have to be 2-3 bigger then the largest ship in your fleet. The Oceanica? Dark Magician Girl has pointed out that it is the most important ship in your fleet. So we won't be touching it unless we can offer improvements. In fact, we will be making sure it is the most guarded ship while it is here in our world."

"Well that's good and dandy for the Oceanica, but what about the rest of us!! Those ships have become our homes now! You can't expect us to just let you demolish them fo.." A gesture from Marcellus quieted Noah down.

"As much as I agree with the human side of this argument, I must disagree with most everyone here when I say, those ships are not our homes. They are machines and tools to accomplish a feat we humans have never been able to do before this whole problem began a few years ago. We were in a sort of state of peace, no nation bore grudges strong enough to start a fight with another, and no weapons were threatening to be fired on anyone. We got to enjoy such a time for a couple of years, then we were reminded that the universe we live in is a dangerous one." He paused to have a look at his fellow humans for their feelings on this. "Now we have a chance, a possible means to remove the blight on our home and return to where we belong! We have discovered allies to the entire human race and not to any one nation. If we must take parts from our own ships to make what we need to save our world, seeing as we cannot go and make more easily, I say we should do it. And we'll start with the carriers so we don't have to disturb the ones currently asleep." He finished.

"Actually," Cyberse White Hat began, "The work will go a lot faster and easier if we use the larger crafts, minus your Oceanica, since they have the most material to call from."

All human eyes turned to him and were somewhat shocked.

"We have crunched some numbers, and taking into account many different aspects of this project. Your smaller ships, if stripped down to make room for more bodies, can be used as a ferry to take people from here to Earth once the darkness is gone. All your belongings and resources will be moved to buildings here on our world and you will have access to them and other resources from here, whenever you want." He finished.

"Humans can eat our food and drink our water. It is not poisonous or harmful to your bodies in any way." Dark Magician Girl added.

Murmurs from the human side of the table went on for a good while before Marcellus stood up.

"We agree and humbly accept your generous offer. When should we begin?"

The meeting took a few hours to finish, more were planned to coincide with the stages of development. Each platform would be emptied one by one, of everything non-essential to the device, hypersleep containers, food and water resources, personal belongings, etc, then will be raised back into orbit of the monster world waiting to be dismantled. Carriers and cruisers would be used on a need by need basis. They did agree that they would need to quite literally suck the goo off of the surface. Data, technological and engineering teams, each made up of both human and monsters alike, decided to meet and brainstorm just how they'll suck up an entire planet of liquid.

"From what information we have from before everyone left Earth and some of the new information from monster surveys on Earth recently, the goo is continuing to expand." Harold Jacobsons said. "So we know that whatever we do, it is time sensitive, and we cannot wait to begin, and we cannot doddle once we start. The longer we take, the worse the goo will be and our efforts will be wasted."

"So the device must be very large, and extremely powerful." A machine monster said.

"And what do we do if we get the goo off the planet and it is still unlivable for years to come!? Huh!? Have you thought about that!?" Ivan queried.

"Enough man! We all know the stakes, there's no reason to take it all out on the ones that are trying to help us get through this." Jacobs said. "Let's just focus on what we know and what we can do about it. Okay?"

Most all the humans nodded in agreement, a few remained sceptical. The monsters remain quiet to let the humans comfort their own.

"Now that the hysteria is out of the way for the moment, what kind of device could be made to suck up the goo?" Harold asked.

"A massive vacuum cleaner." Ivan deadpanned.

A few eyes turned in his direction, and he looked around at them with a questioning look.

"What!?" Ivan asked.

"Ivan, that's genius!! A vacuum, like if we could harness the vacuum of space but concentrate it to a single point, we could literally suck up the goo from Earth's surface!"

"Wait human, you want us to help you harness the power of the empty expanse between stars to use on your home planet?" The monster scientists asked.

"Well yes and no. We need a machine that can continuously pull into itself until it shuts down. Like the vacuum, or empty space between stars, and we use that to pull all the goo off the planet. Then we'll have to launch it far away from the planet into deep space." Harold explained.

"Why not use a black hole?" Magical scientist asked.

Now every human eye turned to him and went wide with questions, but it was Harold that spoke up.

"A black hole? You can generate a black hole!?" He questioned.

"Yes, with these." The monster scientists held up a card, 'Black Hole.'

Some of the human scientists and engineers thought of the possibilities, while some held their breath that such an idea could work. One of them flat out stated that it was impossible and they should just think of a different way.

"It is quite possible, for us of the monster realm, to do human." Monster scientists said. "In fact, using the power our duel energy can provide, and the machines we have for much of the manual labor, we can have a device ready to test and use in only one month." He stated.
