Oceanica Super Transport: Shelly vs Steve
Shelly ran back to the encampment, going inside the medic center to get one final check-up on Akiza.
"Miss Akiza will make a full recovery, but she should stay here in the center for a few days to recover." A nurse said.
Shelly thanked the medics and then ran out the door into the encampment, heading for the Oceanica. Once she got back inside and made her way to the top via the elevator. She saw Steve sitting in the same spot she left him in.
"I'm going to make ya' pay for what ya' did to my sister Steve!" Shelly screamed at him.
"Your threats are nothing to me, woman. I am above you and everyone here on this world!" Steve replied nonchalantly.
"Then let's see ya' deal with my deck then! Ya' couldn't handle it last time we fought!" Shelly taunted.
"You do not want to push your luck here woman. I have grown stronger since you left here with that weak piece of garbage child earlier." Steve mocked.
"Grrrrr!! Ya'll pay for that remark!" Shelly screamed.
"Duel!!" They said together.
"I'll go first this time woman since we're starting off on even footing this time. I draw!" Steve said. "I activate Allure of Darkness, to draw two new cards, then I banish one dark monster from my hand. Now I set one monster in defense mode and three cards facedown. That ends my turn." He finished.
Four card backs formed on his field facedown.
"Your move woman." He said.
"I have a name ya' sick sonofabitch! And before this duel is over ya'll be screaming it for mercy!" Shelly stated. "I draw! I reveal Amazoness Trainee in my hand to special summon Amazoness Spy in defense mode. Next I normal summon Trainee in attack mode!" She said.
A female wearing animal skins and a blue cloak covering her face wielding a dagger for a weapon formed, then a smaller female with tan skin in animal skins and a short spear for a weapon appeared on her field.
"Now I set one card facedown. Battle! Trainee attack his facedown monster!" She ordered.
The smaller Amazoness leapt forward and threw her spear through his card, shattering it.
"You activated my Newdoria's ability, when he's destroyed by battle, I can destroy one monster you control as well. That idiot girl will do!" He countered.
A grotesque monster with spikes sticking out slithered up from the ground, and dragged the Trainee underground, destroying her.
"Tch! I end my turn." She finished.
"Hehehe, I draw. I summon Tardy Orc in attack mode."
A weird goblin in shorts and carrying school books appeared on his field.
Then I set another card facedown and then activate Veil of Darkness." He said. "Now whenever I draw dark monsters, I can discard them to draw again. I end my turn." He finished.
"I draw." She looked at her hand, then grimaced. "I end my turn." She finished.
"Haha! Not your lucky day is it, woman! I draw!" He said elatedly. "Since I drew a dark monster, I send it to the grave to draw again. Now battle! Tardy Orc, attack her Spy!" He ordered.
The goblin ran forward and slammed his books on top of the woman's head, destroying her.
"My Spy has another ability, when she is destroyed in battle, I can retrieve one Amazoness monster from my graveyard to my hand. I choose Trainee." She countered.
"It makes little difference. I end my turn." He finished.
"I draw. I activate The Warrior Returning Alive, this allows me to gain one warrior-type monster from my graveyard, Spy will do. I reveal an Amazoness to special summon Spy in defense mode. Then I set one monster in defense mode. That ends my turn." She finished, a little sore that she can't do more.
"I draw." He began, grinning ear to ear. "Now battle! Orc attack her facedown monster this time!" He ordered.
Again the goblin ran forward and slammed its books atop the card back, destroying it.
"Finally I'll set one monster in defense mode and end my turn." He finished with a mocking look at Shelly. "What's the matter, little woman? No monsters to challenge me with this time?" He mocked.
"Shut it ye' arrogant pig! I draw!" She started. "I activate Fusion Conscription, now I reveal Amazoness Empress, and gain Amazoness Queen from my deck to my hand. I'm not allowed to summon Queen this turn, but that's okay, I'm gonna fusion her instead! I activate Polymerization from my hand to send Queen from my hand and Spy from my field to the graveyard to fusion summon Amazoness Empress in attack mode!" She said.
A pool of swirling colors formed behind her, then the two monsters turned into flares and shot into the vortex of color. A huge flash of energy shot out from the portal, a tanned woman with white hair, animal skins, and a huge robe and sword appeared on her field.
"Hehehe..hahahaha! I got you now! I activate my trap, Deep Dark Trap Hole! When a level five or higher effect monster is special summoned onto the field, I can banish it immediately!" He countered.
"No!" She groaned as her Empress vanished from her field screaming. "Grr! I activate the spell, Fusion Recovery, this lets me have the Polymerization and one monster sent to the grave for a fusion summon, and I choose Spy. Now I set one monster in defense mode and end my turn." She finished.
"I got you now! I draw! I summon Goblin King in attack mode." He said.
A small goblin sitting on a throne wearing a crown and cape appeared on his field.
"Next I flip summon Big Eye into attack mode as well."
A red fiend covered in eyeballs from head to toe appeared on his field.
"When Big Eye is flipped, I'm allowed to rearrange the top five cards of my deck to any order I want." He explained, then maneuvered his cards how he pleased.
Shelly gritted her teeth at her enaction right now.
"Now, as for my King, he gains 1000 attack for each other fiend on my field. And would you look at this, I have two others in play. That means King has 2000 attack points."
King's stats and size began to grow bigger.
"Now battle! Orc attack her facedown monster!" He ordered.
The goblin ran forward and slammed his books down onto the card, destroying it.
"That was my Spy, now I can gain Trainee from my graveyard to my hand once again." She countered.
"So what, now you're defenseless. Big Eye and King, attack her directly!" He commanded.
Both monsters leapt forwards and slammed into her, knocking her back against the bulkhead of the ship, dealing her 3200 in damage. 4800lp
"Hahaha! I'm stronger now woman! You don't have a hope in hell of beating me now!" He gloated.
Shelly struggled to her feet, baring her teeth and her resolve to teach this man a lesson.
"I think I've done enough for now, I end my turn." He finished.
"Finally, I draw!" She said through clenched teeth. "I activate Reinforcements of the Army! I gain Amazoness Princess to my hand. Now I summon her in attack mode!"
A small female again graced the field, with white hair, red skins, and a small sword.
"When she is summoned, I'm allowed to gain one Amazoness spell or trap card from the deck to my hand. Amazoness Call will do. Then I activate Call and gain another Amazoness card from my deck to my hand, Amazoness Tiger this time. Now I'm ready, I activate Polymerization, sending Tiger and Trainee from my hand to fusion summon Amazoness Liger in attack mode!" She said.
A pool of swirling colors formed behind her, then the two monsters turned into flares and shot into the vortex of color. A huge flash shot out, and a large feline with white fur, stripes, and yellow mane, wearing armor appeared on her field.
Steve grimaced at her newfound power and wasn't too happy about it. "Bitch!"
"While Liger is on the field, ye'r not allowed to attack any other Amazoness monster on my field. Now battle! Liger attack his Tardy
Orc, and when my Liger is in battle, he gains 500 extra attack points! Go!!" She ordered.
The Liger leapt at the goblin, sinking its claws into it, destroying the ugly thing, and dealing him 800 in damage. 7200lp
"Now when an Amazoness has battled, Ligers ability activates, removing 800 attack points from another monster, ye'r Big Eye is a good start. Now Princess attack his ugly Big Eye monster! When Princess is in battle, I can discard a card to special summon another Amazoness from my deck in defense mode. Amazoness Baby Tiger will do.
Princess gestured to her side, and a small tiger formed beside her, she scratched behind its ears, then leapt forward and cut Big Eye in half, destroying it and dealing 800 in damage. 6400lp
"I think that will do for now. I end my turn. All you have left is that useless King." She finished smugly.
"Do I?" He asked with an evil grin on his face. "I don't think so. I draw!" He said.
Shelly got a sudden chill riding up her spine. "What?"
"I think I'll activate my trap card, Crackdown! I can take control of one of your monsters, Liger will do!" He said.
"I activate Amazoness Rescue! When an Amazoness is targeted for an effect, I can return it to my hand. That means my monster is not up for grabs you sicko!" She countered.
"Fine. I tribute my King for Dark Summoning Beast in attack mode." He said.
A large, grotesque monster with sickly wings and long claws appeared on his field.
"This monster allows me to sacrifice itself to summon a Phantasm onto my field." He explained.
"No!" She said, worry evident in her tone.
"I sacrifice Dark Summoning Beast, to special summon Raviel, Lord of the Phantasms in attack mode!"
The first thing that happened was the air inside the Oceanica went ice cold, chilling Shelly to her core. Then the Beast slowly sank into a growing portal beneath its feet until the portal was nearly 30ft across. The air was charged with dark energy, it crackled and sparked from girders to the floor to the bulkhead to the magical barrier above. Shelly was almost crouching down from the sheer pressure of the event that was about to unfold. Then it happened, an energy signature she'd only witnessed when Ka'an had summoned Obelisk, shot out from the portal, impacting the magical barrier above, shattering it with ease, and shooting straight into the sky. Then she saw her first glimpse of the monster inside the energy stream, it was huge, as big as Obelisk, and just as imposing. Its features were lost to her until the light began to die down. He was indeed huge, a dark purply body, with blue armor covering it. It was almost as if the creature had taken parts of Obelisk and used them as its armor, right down to the tri-horned helmet and wings, and it was staring at her. Far below, a pair of boots stepped up onto the Oceanica, and into an elevator to take them to the upper levels of the super transport.
Steve gloated, "fortunately for you, I'm not allowed to attack you this turn, but I can activate this field spell, Fallen Paradise. A fitting name, since I will decimate this world to be exactly how I want it. But I digress, while a phantasm is on my field and this spell, I can draw 2 new cards from my deck. Now I activate Card Trader and end my turn. Now let's see what you can do against the awesome might of a dark god!" He finished.
Shelly was in awe of what she now faced, it was almost overwhelming her to want to just end it now, but if she did, there would be no help for the humans, she has to hold on.
"I draw. I set one monster in defense mode. Then I turn Princess to defense as well. That ends my turn." She finished, her time was running out.
"I draw. I drew a dark monster, you know what that means, I discard it to draw again. What's this now, oh, I am so going to make you suffer. But first, battle! Raviel, attack her newest facedown monster!"
Raviel lunged forward and slammed a fist down on her card, shattering it. The shockwave knocking her back against the bulkhead again.
"Argh!" She screamed in pain.
"Alright, I end my turn, your move woman. Oh, weren't you going to make me scream your name or some such?" He finished whimsically.
Shelly was breathing hard, she tried to get back onto her feet, but her leg gave out beneath her. She looked down to see a massive bruise forming where her shin bone was. She felt around the spot for a second before reeling back in pain.
"Ow!" She winced. It was broken. She couldn't stand on it anymore. "Nononono!" She grimaced from the pain.
"Well now, I believe I am the victor." Steve gloated.
"No!" Shelly screamed. "This duel is still on!" She stated.
"Very well. Let's see what you can do in your wretched state. I end my turn." He said.
"I draw! Ow!" She winced in pain as she picked up the card, the jerking motion made her move her leg and it stung dearly. Peeking at her cards, she set one on the field. "I set one card facedown then end my turn." She finished with a grimace on her features.
"Looks like I get to send you to hell woman. You could never have made me do anything I didn't want you to." Steve said as he reached for his deck.
He was about to pull a card when the elevator tone sounded off somewhere in the dark of the room. His eyes turned to the noise, then a presence could be felt entering the area of the duel.
"That's no way to treat a lady, Bensen!" A voice called out from the dark.
Steve froze at the sound of the voice. But he soon was filled with rage when he realized exactly who he was now facing.
"You!" He spat.
A pair of boots walked up and stood between Shelly and Steve. A man wearing a cowboy hat and duster coat stood in the way of his prey.
"Ka'an!" Shelly sounded elated.
"Me," the man stated, looking up at Steve while getting his starting hand off his deck.
