A/N: I only own the OC

Thank you for reviewing.

My first week was going well. I had met with the costume team, met with Tony about the direction they wanted to go, and now I was going to start meeting with some wrestlers. I already knew what Phil wanted and had submitted his designs. Cash and Dax always wanted retro, so they were easy to please. I was saving the women til last because they have some interesting request usually.

I was looking through some emails to catch up so I knew what was going on when someone knocked on my door. I looked up to see the same guy whom I had already had two run ins, and they weren't exactly great ones. He was dressed in a royal blue suit and a black shirt. He seemed to have a flair for the dramatic.

"Hi, I'm Rae." I said as I motioned for him to sit down.

"I know who you are." he said and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"I like to know who I am speaking with before I walk into a useless meeting." he said and sat down.

"Well, nice to meet you too." I said and he chuckled.

"I didn't even introduce myself." he shot back.

"I have a calendar for a reason... I also like to know who I am speaking with before I decide if they are going to waste my time or not." I shot back and his eyebrows raised up before he smirked.

"So, Maxwell, what do you have in mind?" I asked him as I got my notes out.

"It's Max, and I am fine with what I have for now." he said and I nodded.

"That's fine, but let me know if you need alterations or changes." I said and he nodded.

He left a few minutes later and I was glad that was over... he was someone I didn't plan on spending a lot of time around. I met with Jay Lethal and it was nice to catch up with him. Joe had no idea I worked for AEW and was so shocked that he pulled me from my chair to hug me. He had been a family friend for years at this point, and he had really helped my brother through some tough times. I met with a few other talent and aside from Maxwell I didn't have any issues. I had one last meeting for the day and I was praying that he wasn't going to be a pain in the ass.

He was right on time as he knocked and came in. I looked up to see a man in a black t-shirt, black joggers, and sneakers. He had on glasses, and his hair pulled back into a knot on the back of his head. He was a larger guy as he came and sat down.

"Hi, I'm Rae. I am the new costume designer. I am meeting with everyone to see where they are with their outfits, what they want, and just checking in." I said and he nodded, but didn't say anything.

"You are Michael?" I asked him and he nodded... still didn't say anything.

"Ok, Michael, this is where I need you to tell me how you feel about your outfits." I said and he huffed.

"I don't fucking care." he finally said and I raised my eyebrows again. He was typing away on his phone, and didn't obviously care.

"Alright, so a pink singlette it is." I said and his head shot up.

"What the fuck?" he asked me and I cocked my head to the side as he narrowed his eyes at me. I finally chuckled and he glared at me.

"You think this is funny?" he asked me before looking back at his phone.

"I think it's fucking hilarious that you come in here to a meeting, ignore everything, and then get an attitude with me for trying to do my fucking job." I snapped back and now I had his full attention. He had really nice blue eyes.

"What do you want?" he finally asked me.

"I want to know what you want for an outfit." I stated and sighed.

"Black." he said and I nodded as I wrote it down.

"Any design?" I asked him and he sighed.

"A wolf." he said and I nodded... we were getting somewhere.

I talked to him for a few more minutes before I told him we were done... we weren't but it was like pulling teeth, and I wanted to leave. He had been an absolute ass so I was done. I checked email one last time, grabbed my bag, and walked out of the door. I was heading towards the parking lot when I heard someone yell my name. I looked back to see the guy I had just met with jogging up to me.

"Now you want to talk?" I asked him and he sighed.

"I owe you an apology. I was distracted because I was with creative right before and found out my new storyline. I am not a fan." he said and I nodded.

"We all have bad days." I said and turned to leave, but he put his hand on my arm.

"Can I take you to coffee or something to make up for it?" he asked me and I chuckled. I didn't really want to go out right now. I wanted to go home, take a bath, and call my bestie back in Chicago and tell her how much I still hate wrestlers.

"I have plans, but maybe make it up next time by just bringing me coffee." I said and he nodded, but gave a small smile.

"I guess til next time." he said as I turned to walk away.

"Yeah." I said and he kept walking with me.

"I would assume you are following me if it wasn't obvious that is the only parking lot." I said and he chuckled.

"Or maybe I am being a gentleman and walking with you to your car to make sure no one hurts you." he said and I smirked.

"Gentleman still exist?" I asked him and he chuckled.

He walked me to my car, and told me to have a good afternoon. I was surprised because when I left him it was a complete 180 from when I met him a mere 30 minutes ago. I still didn't have hope for wrestlers, but at least he turned out not to be a complete douche.
